Bad Bunny Takes The Lead As Spotify’s Most-Streamed Artist Globally In 2021

It’s that time of the year again — Spotify Wrapped is here. While many are spending the first day of December decorating for the holidays, music lovers around the globe are checking their Spotify account to see a round up of their most-streamed artists, albums, and songs of the year. The data shows that Olivia Rodrigo had a massive year, as she had the most-streamed song and album worldwide. But there was another artist whose music was streamed the most times around the world on the platform: Bad Bunny.

Thanks to Bad Bunny’s prolific songwriting, the Puerto Rican rapper received the most streams on Spotify out of any other artist around the world. According to Spotify’s data, rapper was streamed 9.1 billion times globally this year, an impressive feat for an artist who didn’t even release an album in 2021. Following behind Bad Bunny in worldwide streaming numbers is Taylor Swift at No. 2, BTS at No. 3, Drake at No. 4, and Justin Bieber at No. 5.

When Bad Bunny found out the news, he still remained humble. The musician said he makes music for the love of it and his goal was never to be the most-streamed artists around the world.

While Bad Bunny may have been the top-streamed artist around the globe, the stats look a little different in the US. Bad Bunny was the fifth-most-streamed artist on Spotify in the US, while Drake took the No. 1 slot. Taylor Swift was behind Drake while Juice WRLD came in at No. 3 and Kanye West at No. 4.

See a video of Bad Bunny finding out he’s 2021’s most-streamed artist above.

Adidas Yeezy 700 V3 “Copper Fade” Officially Unveiled: Photos

Kanye West’s Adidas Yeezy 700 series is known for being the dad shoe staple of the Yeezy brand. The V1 and the V2 came with Boost in the midsole, however, with the V3, West decided to scrap the midsole material and go for something that truly felt Alien-like. The various colorways that have come out so far have been pretty interesting, and the brand is always looking to expand on the 700 V3 library. In fact, a new colorway called “Copper Fade” is set to drop soon, and the official photos can be seen down below.

As you can see, the shoe lives up to its name as we have an orange and brown copper tint all throughout the upper here. From there, we have some grey on the midsole, and some dark beige tones near the tongue to add some contrast. These elements fit together quite nicely, and overall, it leads to a shoe that many are going to enjoy throughout the Fall season, in particular.

There is no release date for this shoe right now, however, you can expect them to come out sometime this month before the new year. Let us know what you think of this sneaker, down in the comments section below.

LPB Poody Refuses To Try WarHeads Extreme On “Snack Review”

West Orlando rapper LPB Poody has been one of the most promising rappers out of Florida this year. In the past two years, he’s developed a loyal following across America that reached a new height with his single “Batman.” The song took a life of its own, leading Lil Wayne and Moneybagg Yo to jump on the remix. He’s kept his name hot with singles like “I’m The One” and “The Last Minute” while fans anticipate his follow-up to 2019’s Solitary Konfinement.

Poody slid through to join HNHH on the latest episode of Snack Review where he tried an assortment of classic and international munchies. First up was Bamba Peanut Butter Puffs. Poody was impartial to the snack, rating it a 4, though he said it could’ve been better if there was a bit of jelly to go along with it. Afterward, he tested out UK’s Monster Munch Roast Beef Snacks which earned Poody’s approval.

Though Poody does appear to be a fan of the sweets, giving AirHeads an automatic 10, it doesn’t seem like he’s willing to take on WarHeads Extreme. The rapper politely declined to try them out, especially since they were Sour Apple flavor. “Imma have to sit out on this one. This bitch is something serious I ain’t gon’ lie,” he said. “And it’s the apple kind, too. Aw man, I’m gonna have to sit on this one right here. I’ll probably give that like, a two or something.

Rick Ross Billboards Pop Up Ahead of His New Album

In 2021, rappers have made a concerted effort to promote their upcoming albums with billboards. Usually placed in prominent cities like New York or LA, artists got creative will their billboards in a number of ways.

Last night (Nov. 30), billboards for Rick Ross’ upcoming album Richer than I ever been appeared in numerous different cities, displaying lyrics from songs on the project. Some of the lyrics included were:

“Talkin them dollars, how I touch it come off as a profit”

“Until you seen success you come off as roguish”

“I wanna see my dawgs on the mountaintops”

“They callin’ it pandemic when it’s really life”

Rozay is the latest to employ billboards as a marketing tactic. Just this fall, we’ve seen Drake used billboards for his Certified Lover Boy promotion, where he put them up in the hometowns of rappers that were featured on his album, letting the city know who made it on the project.

Kanye West also used billboards in New York City to notify the world that he was dropping a deluxe version of Donda, which came out on Nov. 14.

Rappers like Key Glock and French Montana thought outside of the box, using 3D billboards in Times Square to promote their respective albums.

Rick Ross’ upcoming album Richer than I ever been is set to release next Friday (Dec. 10). The first promotional single, “Outlawz” featuring 21 Savage and Jazmine Sullivan, is out now.

Celina Powell Says Drake Changed His Phone Number After She Sent Him Monthly Nudes

It’s been nearly a year since texts between Drake and infamous “clout chaser” Celina Powell leaked online, and now, the social media starlet has more to say about her relationship with the rapper.

During a stint on the Plug Talk Podcast that was reportedly filmed last year, she and her former friend Aliza revealed that the “Knife Talk” recording artist allegedly changed his phone number due to them constantly blowing up his line. At one point, host Adam22 can be heard saying, “you guys SHOULD cop the house next door to Drake.”

Aliza then responds, “Drake changed his number ‘cuz of us! F*ck that,” while Powell chimes in, “we’re happy about that, I take credit for that!” The controversial figure admitted that she wasn’t so happy about being cut off by Drizzy, adding, “all I did was send [him] nudes like every month.”

While Drake and countless other stars are boycotting Powell for her antics, she’s still got a pretty hefty fan base. Prior to the release of the Plug Talk episode, Adam22 also announced that they’ve got more salacious content in store. “We are finally dropping the Celina Powell sex tape tomorrow on @plugtalkshow,” he shard via Twitter on November 29th.

If you subscribe to the Plug Talk OnlyFans page, you’ll be able to access the clip of Powell hooking up with a mystery man. While some speculated that it might be with her ex, DJ Akademiks, Adam quickly shut down those rumours. “No but while watching it I couldn’t help focusing on the tattoos of his name on her body,” he replied to a person pondering an appearance from Ak.

NBA Takes Action Against The Bulls & Heat After Offseason Moves

When it comes to tampering, the NBA takes things very seriously. If a player comes out in public and encourages another player to sign with their team, you can expect a huge fine to come down the pipeline. Tampering is especially a problem in the offseason leading up to free agency. It always feels like teams have deals going on in the background when in reality, they are supposed to wait for the start of free agency before actually engaging in negotiations.

This year, the NBA was interested in both the Chicago Bulls and the Miami Heat, as they both ended up doing massive sign and trades to get players like Lonzo Ball and Kyle Lowry. The timing of these deals seemed suspicious, and the league felt as though the trades had been negotiated prior to the opening of the free agency period.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the NBA has officially taken action against the Bulls and the Heat. They felt as though both teams were cooperative with the investigation, however, they still saw some wrongdoing here. As a result, the Bulls and the Heat will have to forfeit their upcoming second-round draft picks. It’s not the harshest penalty ever, however, it still sets a precedent.

With the punishment being so light, it remains to be seen whether or not this actually deters other teams from doing the same thing. For now, however, the Bulls and the Heat have certainly gotten the message.

Anthony Davis Reveals How LeBron James Is Feeling Amid COVID-19 Battle

LeBron James is one of the best players in the entire NBA, and he is instrumental to the success of the Los Angeles Lakers. Unfortunately, LeBron contracted COVID-19 this week which means he is going to miss quite a bit of action with the virus. The Lakers superstar is currently resting at home, and last night, the Lakers had to take on the Sacramento Kings without him. In the end, however, the Lakers were able to win the game in convincing fashion thanks to an amazing third-quarter takeover.

In the immediate aftermath of the game, Anthony Davis spoke to reporters about James’ condition, according to Clutch Points. AD referenced what Joel Embiid has gone through, although he did make sure to note that LeBron is asymptomatic and is feeling just fine. The Lakers star is vaccinated and is currently just taking it easy while he waits to test negative again.

“He said he’s asymptomatic, which is a good sign, but we want to make sure that he gets back,” Davis said. “Health is what’s most important. It’s bigger than basketball. He has a family and we want to make sure that he’s good no matter what. Like this Basketball Thing don’t stop. We want to make sure his health is what’s most important, especially for our organization. He’s part of our family and we want to make sure he’s good. For his sake, for his family’s sake. Like I said, he seemed to be fine, but I know he’s watching basketball and he’s excited, so the win probably helped him fight this off as well.”

Davis’ update on the Lakers star is certainly a positive one, and it pretty well confirms that LeBron will still be 100 percent when he comes back. Regardless, his absence will continue to hurt the Lakers as they will be missing the cornerstone of their offense.

Stay tuned to HNHH for more updates from around the NBA.

Tony Ferguson Rips Khamzat Chimaev In Response On Twitter

UFC’s Khamzat Chimaev hasn’t hesitated to let any and everyone know just how he feels about them lately, as he’s stirred the pot with multiple fighters, not to the approval of UFC lightweight Tony Ferguson.

UFC welterweight Colby Covington was recently a victim of Chimaev’s aggressive antics, after Khamzat took to Twitter to question Covington’s USA roots, tweeting:

“you do not represent USA i represent USA you represent cowardice,” Khamzat Chimaev said in his post, referring to Colby Covington on Twitter.

Tony Ferguson took exception to the tweet and to Chimaev, personally. Ferguson, or “El Cucuy”, whose Mexican-American heritage holds strong, then took to Twitter himself, clapping back at Khamzat Chimaev about

“The F*** You Do. Ya Can’t Even Make Weight Like Fathead @TeamKhabib Sit Down Shut Up Before I Make You My B**** Where Were You During The Start Of The Pandemic? # Merica’MF,” Tony Ferguson replied on Twitter.

Ferguson isn’t exactly in position to step in the octagon with someone like Chimaev at this point, especially considering “El Cucuy” has lost his last three fights to Beneil Dariush, Charles Oliveira, and Justin Gaethje, resulting in him falling behind in the lightweight division. Khamzat Chimaev, however, is continuously rising, as he nears toward a welterweight title opportunity.

Chimaev is also capable of fighting in the middleweight division, making the weight disparity between he and Ferguson part ways even more. These aspects decrease the likelihood that he and Ferguson will actually face-off, but still, UFC fans can and will wonder at the thought.

Here is tweet exchange between the two fighters:

Travis Scott And Live Nation Reveal Their Head Attorneys As They Prepare For Astroworld Cases

The Houston Chronicle reports Live Nation and Travis Scott, under fire for the recent disaster at the Astroworld Festival last month, have made a prominent hire as they prepare to defend themselves from a deluge of cases from injured attendees and the families of the 10 people who died as a result of the crowd crush at Astroworld.

Scott has tapped global corporate law firm O’Melveny & Myers’ head of litigation Daniel Petrocelli, who is best known for representing Fred Goldman in the 1997 trial against OJ Simpson for the wrongful deaths of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. OJ was found liable in that case, despite being previously acquitted for the murders in a criminal trial.

It was Petrocelli who reached out to the families of victims who died at the festival with the offer to cover funeral costs; however, half the families, including that of 9-year-old Ezra Blount, rejected the offer, writing in response, “[Scott] must face and hopefully see that he bears some of the responsibility for this tragedy. There may be, and I hope there is, redemption and growth for him on the other side of what this painful process will be – and perhaps one day, once time allows some healing for the victims and acceptance of responsibility by Mr. Scott and others, Treston and Mr. Scott might meet – as there is also healing in that.”

Meanwhile, Live Nation’s head defender will be the Susman Godfrey law firm, prompting the lawyer representing about 75 victims to say, “For Live Nation to hire the Susman firm shows that the company knows it is in deep trouble and is preparing for a bet-the-company litigation fight.”

According to the Chronicle, more than 120 lawsuits have been filed by about 600 plaintiffs seeking damages totaling over $3 billion. The cases may be consolidated in order to manage the caseload.
