Tiffany Haddish Speaks On Bob Saget & Feeling Like Her Life “Is In Shambles”

There have been a number of comedians who have come forward to openly mourn the loss of Bob Saget. The famed Full House dad was recently found dead at an Orlando hotel, and as the Medical Examiner works to confirm a cause of death, many of those who knew Saget have shared fond memories. Despite his controversies, Saget has been deemed by those who knew him as a kind-hearted person, and prior to her recent run-in with the law, Tiffany Haddish spoke about her encounters with the late actor.

We previously reported on the news that Haddish was arrested in Georgia on suspicions of a DUI after she was allegedly found asleep in her vehicle. Reports have stated that she has been filing her forthcoming movie Haunted Mansion in Atlanta. Prior to her arrest, Haddish spoke with Extra about meeting Saget many years ago.

“My first memory of him is when he came into the comedy camp and I got on stage and to tell some of my jokes,” she said. “He goes, ‘Good, that’s good. Now keep the time.’ Like, stick to time.” Saget was referencing that she had a three-minute mark and went over it during her routine. “I was going over the time… I wanted to tell my whole story.”

She also gave an update on her life, saying she’s been keeping busy while mentioning a “loss.” Fans have interpreted this as being about her breakup with her ex-beau, rapper Common. “My career is blowing things out of the water, my life, because I’m a human, it feels like it’s in shambles, but it’s not. I’m just sad because I’ve had some losses.”

Bobby Shmurda Says Rappers Need To Stop Touting Guns In Videos Because They Don’t Use Them

His dance moves have been the talk of Hip Hop since his release from prison, but Bobby Shmurda hasn’t been paying his critics any mind. After spending seven years behind bars, Shmurda is doing what most people in his position would do: live life to the fullest. He reportedly signed a management deal with Roc Nation and in turn, the celebrated team has made sure to keep the hype surrounding Shmurda and his releases alive.

As fans await more news about the “Hot N*gga” rapper’s forthcoming debut effort, Shmurda has often surfaced to address those who believe he needs to put an end to his dance moves and appear more “gangsta” in his visuals.

Last week, Shumrda revealed, “I rather dance outside free in videos stages clubs iG TicToc wherever I could then to do it in there again so remember to appreciate your freedom!!!!” It was a sentiment that his fans agreed with, and yesterday (January 13), Shmurda returned to social media where he uploaded several photos that showed him enjoying some time with several bikini-clad women.

“I don’t wanna see nooo guns in Videos this year str8 Gyal,” the rapper penned along with several heart and fire emojis. “Y’all n*ggas ain’t using them anyway you on the gram with it n*gggaa.” While many rappers are about that life and have been targeted by the authorities due to their lyrics, visuals, and social media posts, others use weapons and the street life only to help propel their careers.

Shmurda wants no parts of anything that can get him in trouble with the law and has opted to enjoy himself. Check out a few posts from the rapper below.

Former NFL Star Junior Siavii Found Dead In Prison Cell: Report

After dominating on the field at the University of Oregon, Saousoalii “Junior” Siavii was drafted into the NFL. During his seven-year career, Siavii would join teams including the Seattle Seahawks, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Kansas City Chiefs, but his NFL tenure came to an end in 2011. Since that time, Siavii found himself in trouble with the law. It is unclear what his career focus was after leaving the league, but it has been reported that in 2019, he was arrested on charges related to illegal firearms.

Months later, he was named in an indictment in connection with drug trafficking methamphetamine and conspiracy charges, and in July 2020, Siavii was taken into custody once again after being arrested on second-degree burglary among other infractions.

Siavii was reportedly awaiting trial at the United States Penitentiary, Leaven worth when he was reportedly found dead in his cell on Thursday (January 13) afternoon. There haven’t been too many details about this case, but the Kansas City Star reported that authorities claimed: “At no time was the public in danger.” Investigators also reported that Siavii was found alone and no other inmates or staffers were found to be hurt or injured.

Siavii was reportedly treated by prison staff before being taken to a medical facility where he was declared dead. This story is developing, so a cause of death is expected to be shared in the near future. We offer our condolences to his loved ones.

Brian Cox Disses “So Overrated” Johnny Depp & Explains Turning Down “Game Of Thrones”

In his new memoir, Putting the Rabbit in the Hat, Brian Cox says that he turned down the role of Robert Baratheon in Game of Thrones because the “money was not all that great” and he would’ve died early on. He also slams Johnny Depp as “overblown” and “overrated.”

“I’m often asked if I was offered a role in ‘Game of Thrones’ — reason being that every other bugger was — and the answer is, yes, I was supposed to be a king called Robert Baratheon, who apparently died when he was gored by a boar in the first season,” Cox writes in the memoir. “I know very little about ‘Game of Thrones’ so I can’t tell you whether or not he was an important character, and I’m not going to Google it just in case he was, because I turned it down.”

As for other parts Cox has turned down, he recalls being offered the role of Governor Weatherby Swann in the Pirates franchise. The part eventually went to Jonathan Pryce, who later starred in Game of Thrones.

“I turned my nose up at the part of the Governor in the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean franchise,’ a role that was eventually played by Jonathan Pryce,” Cox says, before criticizing the franchise.

“Another thing with ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ is that it’s very much the ‘Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow’ show, and Depp, personable though I’m sure he is, is so overblown, so overrated,” Cox adds. “I mean, ‘Edward Scissorhands.’ Let’s face it, if you come on with hands like that and pale, scarred-face make-up, you don’t have to do anything. And he didn’t. And subsequently, he’s done even less. But people love him. Or they did love him. They don’t love him so much these days, of course.”

Putting the Rabbit in the Hat is out on January 18th.

The Game May Have Profits From Kanye Collab Seized By Sexual Assault Accuser: Report

After dropping off major hints that they had a new collaboration on the horizon, Kanye West and The Game have confirmed that their new track is on the way. We’ve been reporting on the updates about “My Life Was Never Easy,” a song that’s slated for arrival exclusively on Spotify this evening, and the hype surrounding the track after Ye is heard in a snippet threatening to beat up Pete Davidson.

Aside from that viral moment, Radar Online issued a report about Priscilla Rainey, the woman who won a $7 million judgment against The Game following allegations of sexual assault.

Rainey was once a contestant on Game’s dating show many years ago and she alleged that he touched her inappropriately. After winning the judgment, Game has repeatedly stated he did not plan on paying up, but there have been reports that Rainey and her legal team have moved forward with seizing certain finances in order to pay the debt.

Radar Online reported that with “My Life Was Never Easy” arriving, Game may not be able to keep, or even see, those profits because Rainey’s team has targeted his pockets.

Rainey has been trying to collect on the money for years. In recent court docs, her lawyers revealed they have only been able to collect $293,902.29 and $7,375,551.25 is still owed. The Game has publicly claimed he has no plans on paying Rainey and has been accused of creating shell companies to hide his money.

The outlet also stated that a judge has already awarded Rainey Game’s profits from the Cameo app where celebrities deliver personalized messages to fans for a fee. Game was accused of making thousands of dollars on Cameo only to have the money sent to his businesses, not himself. It was also reported that his royalties from Born 2 Rap were also awarded to Rainey.

Rap Caviar Launched Some ‘Rap Mount Rushmore’ Murals That Surely Won’t Be Controversial

Let’s begin by thanking Spotify for the great utility of their plentiful playlists. For instance, in the Running section of the app, the pop playlists are broken down into ’00s pop, ’10s pop, and even ’90s pop — this one goes hard for those middle miles.

Anyway, it seems like their hip-hop curation team, Rap Caviar, has decided to break down their own genre in a similar way, by organizing it into decades. That seems fine, except, they also decided to tap into the ongoing greatest-of-all-time conversation by actually painting a “Rap Mount Rushmore” mural in various cities. They also chose to break their Rushmore down into just the 2010s, selecting Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Nicki Minaj, and J. Cole. Which is exactly where things might get a little messier.

First of all, I have great respect for Nicki Minaj and believe she’s an incredibly important MC, but her greatest sphere of influence was definitely waning around 2015. By the time Queen hit, she wasn’t very influential at all. So putting her on the mountain when other massive names like Future, Young Thug, Tyler The Creator, Travis Scott and even Kanye himself are all let off is pretty alarming for even a casual rap listener. She might be there due to the fact that she called out a similar Rushmore on Twitter for not including her, but hey, desire isn’t achievement.

The fact that there’s no southern rap (no, J. Cole doesn’t count) is another issue some might find contentious! Anyway, at least they got Kendrick right.

Mariah The Scientist And Young Thug Get Married In The Lusty ‘Walked In’ Video

A chance encounter in the strip club leads to matrimony in the self-directed video for Mariah The Scientist’s new single “Walked In” featuring Young Thug. As the song describes the lusty attraction between two strangers at a social gathering, the video plays out the duo’s unexpected trajectory, as they go from tossing dollars on the stage from opposite sides of the room to staging an intimate wedding (complete with Gunna, Young Thug’s newly inseparable sidekick, as a groomsman). Thug’s verse echoes Mariah’s as he brags, “I spent $400 on the tux just to go f*ck her in it.”

Mariah’s apparently got an affinity for Atlanta trap rappers, previously inviting Lil Baby to contribute a verse to her 2020 single “Always N Forever.” Since then, she released her 2021 sophomore album, Ry Ry World garnering praise for its blunt reflections on life and love, and raising her profile among fans of the sort of raw, reactive R&B being made by singers like Summer Walker and SZA, which often has sort of a trapped-out Mariah Carey vibe.

Meanwhile, Young Thug has already made a strong impression in 2022 thanks to Gunna’s DS4EVER single “Pushin P,” on which he appears alongside Future. I told you they were inseparable.

Chris Brown Fights Off Bad Guys In “Iffy” Visual

Fans are expecting that the release of this single will mark the return of Chris Brown. The singer has continued to make business moves and collaborate with his famous friends, but C. Breezy fans have been waiting for the moment Brown stepped into the scene with a solo effort that would mark the coming of a new album. Despite any controversies or news of lawsuits that often plagued the star, each of Brown’s releases—whether he stands on his own or beside artists like Drake, Young Thug, 2 Chainz, H.E.R., or Yung Bleu—top the charts.

On Friday (January 14), Brown ushered in a new season with the release of his single “Iffy,” and he resurfaced with a visual to complement the track. In it, viewers will find fast cars, villains, and Brown showing off his video game-inspired dance moves in the Joseph Kahn-directed clip. It is still unclear if this track is slated for inclusion on a future project, but we’ll keep you updated.

In the meantime, check out Chris Brown’s music video for his new single “Iffy” above.
