Mia Khalifa’s Hot Take About The Army Being Worse Than OnlyFans Resurfaces, Internet Gets Mad All Over Again

Mia Khalifa is someone who has proven to be controversial over the years. Overall, the former adult film star is someone who has no issue making waves with her comments. For instance, she caught a lot of flack months ago for her take on the Israel and Palestine situation. She wants a free Palestine, however, she also said that she stands with what Hamas is doing. Many took issue with her support for the political group and it ultimately led to her losing some of her brand deals.

Furthermore, she recently did an interview with Ziwe where she compared joining the army to OnlyFans. In fact, she made the claim that the army is actually worse than OnlyFans. When she made this claim, a lot of people were upset. After all, the internet is extremely hostile towards sex workers. Moreover, Americans are very protective of their institutions, such as the military. However, today, inexplicably, the clip of her talking about the army has resurfaced, and people are getting mad all over again.

George Santos Knows More About Nicki Minaj Than He Does Key Civil Rights Leaders, As He Showed In A Ruthless Ziwe Interview

Disgraced former United States Representative George Santos may (or may not) be a lot of things. But one thing we can be sure of is the fact that he’s a Barb. During a sitdown interview with Ziwe, which was published to YouTube today (December 18), Santos spit some bars from one of Nicki Minaj‘s earlier verses.

In a portion of the interview, Ziwe went through a list of civil rights icons, and prompted Santos to tell her what they each mean to her.

When asked about Marsha P. Johnson, Santos deemed the LGBTQ+ rights trailblazer a “very respectful, honorable person,” though he wasn’t quite clear on why he admired her.

Santos also made it quite evident that he didn’t know who James Baldwin or Harvey Milk were. He did, however, say that Saturday Night Live actor Bowen Yang deserves an EGOT for his impression of him.

Ziwe then asked about Nicki Minaj, whom Santos called a “queen.” She proceed to rap a portion of Minaj’s verse on Kanye West’s 2010 hit, “Monster.”

“Pull up in the monster, automobile,” rapped Ziwe. Santos popped in, rapping “Gangsta, with a bad b*tch that came from Sri Lanka.” He then let out a big laugh, and Ziwe’s reaction said everything you need to know about her thoughts on the situation.

You can watch the full interview above (if you must).

Ziwe Talk Show Shelved After Two Seasons

Ziwe Fumudoh, known professionally just as Ziwe, burst onto the scene in 2017 with her social media series, Baited with Ziwe. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she took her show from YouTube and began hosting it on Instagram Live. Since then, she has amassed nearly 600,000 Instagram followers, becoming one of social media’s favorite it girls. Her fashion and lifestyle content garnered widespread support, and in May 2021, her self-titled Showtime talk show debuted. Ziwe interviewed a number of guests, asking quirky questions in her standard lighthearted interview style. Sadly, Showtime announced this week that the network had parted ways with the late-night talk show.

The series only got two seasons, and with each episode becoming more hilariously awkward, it appeared Ziwe had a promising future with Showtime. Vulture TV called her interview style the “art of discomfort.” During her tenure with the network, she sat down with a laundry list of guests, including politician Andrew Yang and comedian Hannibal Buress. On March 23rd, the 31-year-old shared a screen grab from her show but has not posted much on social media since. It’s unclear if she knew the end of her series was near.

Ziwe Appeared To Have A Promising Career With Showtime

The cancellation stunned fans, and while Ziwe did not confirm anything, a change in Showtime’s leadership could be to blame. Showtime CEO David Nevins left the company last year. Since then, Chris McCarthy, president and CEO of Paramount Media Networks has rebranded the network. This is how Paramount+ With Showtime came about in early 2023. It appears Showcase pushed Ziwe’s cable show to the waist side. Some fans across social media have even blamed the cancellation on racism. In place of Ziwe, the network has ordered Mandy Patinkin’s comedy series, Seasoned.

Fans are now threatening to boycott the network and the streaming platform. Some blame fellow fans for failing to support the series. As one Twitter user wrote, people “never ONCE turned the actually show on.” Ziwe is the latest urban-style show to be canceled. Desus & Mero was scrapped after four seasons last year, shortly after the duo announced they were splitting up after years of establishing their comedic rise. Luckily, Ziwe has other endeavors lined up, such as the release of her new book, The Book of Ziwe. The influencer will likely be fine.

Chet Hanks Is “Emotionally Disturbed” And “Not Well,” Eric André Claims

Some “nepo babies,” such as Gigi Hadid, have made wildly successful careers for themselves by taking advantage of the opportunities their famous families have afforded them. Others, however, seem to crumble under the pressure of being in the spotlight (often from a young age), taking dark and troubling routes rather than coasting through Hollywood with ease. A star who seems to fall into the latter category is Chet Hanks, son of Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson.

While he has had some noteworthy acting roles over the years, the 32-year-old’s name is often embroiled in controversy, showing him in a negative light. He’s previously been accused of cultural appropriation after going viral several times while speaking in a Jamaican accent on social media, and now, Eric André is spilling on his time spent working with Hanks. During a recent conversation with Rolling Stone, the comedian described the Your Honor star as “emotionally disturbed,” among other things.

Eric’s Experience Working with Chet Hanks

“Chet Hanks was a tough cookie,” André recalled of working with the California native on his self-titled show. “He broke our crew. It felt like ‘Rust.’ He broke us down,” the 39-year-old further explained, comparing Hanks to Alec Baldwin’s western film that was shut down several months back after the unexpected death of Halyna Hutchins on set. Apparently, the environment he created on the Eric André Show was equally as “dangerous” and could’ve seriously injured other cast and crew members.

The Bad Trip star went on to share that “[Chet] is… emotionally disturbed. He stole a motorcycle and rode it around. He almost knocked a bunch of grips and gaffers off their ladders.” Thankfully, André’s creative control allowed him to “edit out all [the] bullshit” Hanks pulled off while trying to prank Eric back. “He’s not well. How did Colin Hanks come out so good and Chet Hanks come out so bad?” the Florida native pondered.

Actor Reportedly Tried to Sleep with Ziwe

Elsewhere in his interview, André alleged that Chet Hanks tried to sleep with talk show host Ziwe, who he previously went to school with. “I talked to Ziwe about it. God, what a guy. Now he’s the executive producer on the show and the president of Adult Swim,” the funny man quipped. Just last year, the embattled entertainer appeared on the female host’s Showtime series, at which time he went viral for his various on-screen antics. New York Mayoral Candidate Andrew Yang Apparently Struggled To Name A Jay-Z Song During His ‘Ziwe’ Interview

Ziwe Fumudoh sat down with former presidential and current New York mayoral candidate Andrew Yang this week, and those who assumed the result would be bad news for Yang were apparently very correct according to the first clips from Ziwe.

Ziwe, whose Showtime series has garnered a reputation for putting celebrities on the hot seat and asking some very leading questions, asked Yang on Twitter earlier in the week he would appear on the show. “You would be an iconic guest,” she wrote on Twitter.

Those who knew her work pretty plainly thought this would be a tough interview for Yang, who has stumbled in his mayoral campaign in recent weeks. By Thursday night, however, Wall Street Journal reporter Katie Honan had reported Yang would indeed appear. And on Saturday, Ziwe posted a clip from the episode that involved New York legend Jay-Z. The clip, which cuts off after about 30 seconds of awkwardness, includes Ziwe asking Yang what his favorite Jay-Z song is with him unable to name a single one.

“I listened to a lot of hip-hop during like the 90s and 2000s,” Yang said when asked what he’s “vibing to” lately after a question about listening to rap music. She presses him, saying “I gotta know” what artists he likes, and he mentions Nas and Jay-Z after some hesitation.

“What’s your favorite Jay-Z song?” she asks. “I mean, he’s a New Yorker.”

Yang only says “yes” initially, and then there’s a long pause as he seems to think it over. “What is my favorite Jay-Z song?” he asks, as if to himself as well as anyone willing to give him the name of one to rescue him from the situation. Ziwe’s expression really says it all here.

@zwie on Twitter

The clip cuts off right as he says “it’s” after a full 10 seconds of contemplation or so. And while he may just have had a hard time coming up with his favorite, not simply struggling to come up with any songs at all, the awkward moment is the latest in a campaign that’s struggled to avoid them.

For Yang to have said yes to the interview means either no one on his staff knew what Ziwe’s deal was with these interviews, or he was simply not as prepared as he should be for the kind of questions she’d ask. But it’s also an own goal in several ways here: If Yang simply isn’t a Jay-Z fan, which is fine even for New York mayoral candidates, the easiest way to avoid falling into this trap is to not claim he spent a few decades listening to his music seconds before.

We’ll have to wait and see what he came up with when his interview on Ziwe airs on Sunday night.
