George Santos Knows More About Nicki Minaj Than He Does Key Civil Rights Leaders, As He Showed In A Ruthless Ziwe Interview

Disgraced former United States Representative George Santos may (or may not) be a lot of things. But one thing we can be sure of is the fact that he’s a Barb. During a sitdown interview with Ziwe, which was published to YouTube today (December 18), Santos spit some bars from one of Nicki Minaj‘s earlier verses.

In a portion of the interview, Ziwe went through a list of civil rights icons, and prompted Santos to tell her what they each mean to her.

When asked about Marsha P. Johnson, Santos deemed the LGBTQ+ rights trailblazer a “very respectful, honorable person,” though he wasn’t quite clear on why he admired her.

Santos also made it quite evident that he didn’t know who James Baldwin or Harvey Milk were. He did, however, say that Saturday Night Live actor Bowen Yang deserves an EGOT for his impression of him.

Ziwe then asked about Nicki Minaj, whom Santos called a “queen.” She proceed to rap a portion of Minaj’s verse on Kanye West’s 2010 hit, “Monster.”

“Pull up in the monster, automobile,” rapped Ziwe. Santos popped in, rapping “Gangsta, with a bad b*tch that came from Sri Lanka.” He then let out a big laugh, and Ziwe’s reaction said everything you need to know about her thoughts on the situation.

You can watch the full interview above (if you must).

George Santos Slips On Stairs At DC Hotel Following Congressional Expulsion

George Santos was caught tripping and falling on the rain-soaked stairs of the DC Waldorf Astoria, reportedly breaking his watch in the process. The incident happened around 10pm on December 2, with bystanders reportedly laughing at the disgraced politician. It’s unclear if anything other than the wet conditions caused Santos to fall over.

The incident came a day after Santos became the sixth member of Congress in history to be expelled. Furthermore, Santos was the first Republican to be formally expelled and the first representative to be expelled since 2002. The last member of Congress to be expelled was Ohio Democrat James Traficant, who had been convicted on bribery charges. A majority of Republicans voted to keep Santos in Congress. However, just enough Republicans sided with the Democrats to remove Santos.

Why Was George Santos Expelled?

George Santos was expelled from Congress as a result of a 319-114 vote on the House floor. The size of the majority far exceeded the two-thirds majority needed to expel a member of the House. It came nearly a year after reports first emerged suggesting that Santos had lied extensively on his resume and misappropriated campaign funds. However, Santos has consistently maintained his innocence and claimed that the allegations were merely unsubstantiated attacks by Democrats. Despite this, things only continued to get worse over the course of 2023 for Santos, who became the embarrassment of the Republican Party in Congress. The speaker of the house, Mike Johnson, was one of the Republicans who voted to keep Santos in public.

However, 105 of Santos’ colleagues joined 206 Democrats in voting to expel Santos. Having flipped a Democrat district in 2022, Santos was crucial in holding the slim majority that the Republicans earned at the last midterms. However, the fate of his district, New York 3, is unknown. Many pollsters already had it flipping back to the Democrats in 2024. However, it’s currently unclear if the scandal of Santos will mean that the retaking of the district will be accelerated. The fallout of Santos’ expulsion remains a developing story. We’ll have any updates as and when they emerge.

George Santos Is Reportedly Trying To Pass ‘The Minaj Act,’ A Vaccine Bill Named After The Rapper

Over the course of the pandemic, Nicki Minaj caused quite a stir with her opinion on vaccines. In fact, she was even locked out of Twitter due to this. The rapper shared that her cousin’s friend became “impotent” and their “testicles became swollen” after their dose, and Dr. Anthony Fauci had to go on CNN to debunk this.

Now, notorious New York congressman George Santos is introducing The Minaj Act, which, according to Semafor political reporter Kadia Goba, “establishes a development period for new vaccines in order to generate public confidence.”

In September 2021, the “Red Ruby Da Sleeze” performer went on a Twitter tirade upon catching COVID yet still refusing to get vaccinated. “They want you to get vaccinated for the Met,” she wrote. “If I get vaccinated it won’t for the Met. It’ll be once I feel I’ve done enough research. I’m working on that now. In the meantime my loves, be safe. Wear the mask with 2 strings that grips your head & face. Not that loose one.”

That same month, a CNN reporter also received word from a source that The White House offered to explain the vaccine to her. Don Lemon wrote, “A White House official tells @cnn’s Jeff Zeleny that ‘As we have with others, we offered a call with Nicki Minaj and one of our doctors to answer questions she has about the safety and effectiveness of the vaccine.’”

“The Minaj Act”: George Santos New Bill Named After Nicki Minaj

The Queen of Rap just can’t help but be influential. Nicki Minaj is the subject of a new bill drawn up by none other than disgraced New York congressman and part-time drag queen, George Santos. Some may recognize his name from the firestorm that surrounded him in the press over the last few months. The congressman has been a vocal supporter of the Republican Party and some of the most far-right conservatives in politics. However, as drag performances have become the target of Republican ire as of late, Santos has been exposed as a former drag queen himself. In addition, he was also exposed for lying extensively on his resume about not his education and his work history.

Now, it has been revealed that George Santos has proposed a new bill called “The Minaj Act.” As strange as it may seem, the bill is indeed named after Nicki Minaj. The reason for this? Back in the height of the vaccine madness, the Queen made a pretty controversial tweet. “My cousin in Trinidad won’t get the vaccine cuz his friend got it & became impotent,” she said. “So just pray on it & make sure you’re comfortable with ur decision, not bullied.” While the bottom line of the message may have been good intentioned, fear mongering might not be the best way to get it across. Then you get situations like the current one, where far right Republicans name bills after you. The bill would seek to generate public confidence in vaccines before they are made available.

George Santos’ Not-So-Hidden Past

George Santos has proven to be as untrustworthy as they come. Not only has he lied extensively, he has also proven his unwavering support of former president Donald Trump. He was one of the few that showed up for Trump when he was hauled in after his indictment. When you and Marjorie Taylor Greene are the two showing up to support, it’s not a good sign. However, perhaps the most hilarious and outrageous of Santos’ lies is the one where he denies ever having been a drag queen. Apparently he didn’t know that there is plenty of photo and video evidence.

“The most recent obsession from the media claiming that I am a drag Queen or “performed” as a drag Queen is categorically false,” Santos said on twitter. “The media continues to make outrageous claims about my life while I am working to deliver results. I will not be distracted nor fazed by this.” What do you think of the new bill? Should George Santos be using Nicki’s name for something like this? Let us know in the comments.
