At the Balenciaga show, YG turned heads in an all-black ensemble that included a striking black leather biker jacket, edgy rain boots, and sleek shades. His appearance at the event created quite a buzz among fashion enthusiasts and music fans alike.
Making a distinct impression, YG also graced the “Day of Victory” Casablanca Show held at the Entrance via Porte Tuileries at the Les Salles du Carrousel. For this occasion, he sported a silk peach shirt inspired by the tropics, which he paired with crisp white shorts, white leather gloves, and classic dress shoes.
YG’s presence at Paris Fashion Week showcased his ability to seamlessly blend music and fashion, solidifying his status as a style icon in the entertainment industry.

The Str8 To The Club Tour with Saweetie began in Sacramento on September 21, and will run through November 22 in Los Angeles with opening acts Kamaiyah and Wallie The Sensei. You can find more info and tour dates here.
This week, YG, Tyga, and Saweetie launch their Str8 To The Club Tour in Sacramento, before heading north to San Francisco then taking over arenas in Las Vegas, Tucson, Tacoma, Vancouver, and more. The trio will be joined by three openers: Kamaiyah, Wallie The Sensei, and DJ Vision. The tour will likely offer fans a preview of Tyga and YG’s upcoming joint album, as well as Saweetie’s long-delayed debut, along with a look at some of California’s hottest up-and-coming artists. So…
Who Is Opening YG, Tyga, And Saweetie’s Str8 To The Club Tour?
DJ Vision
DJ Vision is a Los Angeles-based DJ who has mainly supported OhGeesy as his tour DJ, accompanying him on his 2022 Geezyworld Tour, as well as touring with YG on The Red Cup Tour with OhGeesy, and YG’s 4Hunnid artists Day Sulan, and D3SZN. The earliest tour on his social media is YG’s F*ck Donald Trump Tour in 2016, which featured Kamaiyah, RJ (aka RJMrLA), and Sad Boy.
Kamaiyah
Kamaiyah is an interesting addition to the lineup because of the history between her and YG. After garnering a strong reception for her 2016 mixtape A Good Night In The Ghetto, she signed with 4Hunnid Records as one of YG’s first artists with distribution through Interscope. However, after her debut album was delayed multiple times, she left both labels in a rather contentious split. It appears the two are back on better terms now that Yaya is back independent. She has continued to release new music, dropping her most recent full-length album, Oakland Nights, in 2020, and an EP, Diving Timing, last year. She has released a steady stream of new singles in 2023, including “Shot Callin’,” “All Night,” and “Heat Warning.”
Wallie The Sensei
Wallie The Sensei is a newer artist from — where else? — Compton, who dropped his debut album, Golden Child, in 2021, following up in 2022 with Here 2 Stay. He approaches rap with the contemporary melodic flow popular with fellow Hub City natives like Roddy Ricch and Kalan.FrFr, crooning about the heartbreak of growing up knee-deep in hood politics. According to an early bio on local rap blog Rosecrans Ave. (what up, Vic!), his goal is to provide a positive outlook and guidance for those stuck in similar situations — hence the “sensei” in his stage name. On Instagram, he’s tagged himself a “Hope Dealer,” and his music certainly seems to offer a sliver of silver lining amid the emotional catharsis.
Tyga, YG, and Saweetie’s highly anticipated “Skr8 To The Klub” Tour has been canceled due to low ticket sales. The tour was set to also feature popular rappers Kamaiyah, Wallie The Sensei, and DJ Vision as opening acts. ‘Skr8 To The Klub’ Tour CANCELED Tyga, YG, and Saweetie’s “Skr8 To The Klub” Tour was officially […]
Rapper YG’s long-standing feud with Donald Trump has been reignited, at least on one side. The former president’s has done a lot of fundraising in the last few days, and YG is looking to latch on to that lingering momentum by exploiting the craze surrounding Trump’s mugshot.
YG’s label has uploaded a series of t-shirts (in black and white) featuring the image along with the caption, “F*cked.” The item listed on the shop as the “FDT T-SHIRT” goes for $35 per tee. The shirt’s titling is a callback to his 2016 song “FDT,” an acronym for F*ck Donald Trump.
In the song, YG makes it clear that he was not in favor of Trump’s presidential ambitions, rapping, “I’m ’bout to turn Black Panther / Don’t let Donald Trump win, that n**** cancer / He too rich, he ain’t got the answers / He can’t make decisions for this country, he gon’ crash us / No, we can’t be a slave for him / He got me appreciating Obama way more / Hey Donald, and everyone that follows / You gave us your reason to be President, but we hate yours / F*ck Donald Trump.”
During some of YG’s live performances, he’s continued to voice his disdain for Trump. At one point, he even invited Stormy Daniels to join him on stage.
YG’s official FDT t-shirt is on sale now. Find more information here.
Sexyy Red deals with as many haters as almost anyone. The up-and-coming rap star deals with criticism for almost anything she does. Thankfully, artists and collaborators like NLE Choppa have taken the opportunity to stand up for her. Now, she received another shoutout from a fellow rapper but it didn’t exactly go where fans may have expected. In a new conversation with Theo Von, YG is asked about some of the most impressive female rappers emerging recently. He doesn’t have to hesitate in his answer “Sexyy Red goin Brazy.”
While it seems at first like they’re discussing her music, that topic quickly fades away when Theo pulls up a picture of her. Despite the conversation shifting more into how she looks than how her music actually sounds, Sexyy Red didn’t seem to mind at all. She quote tweeted the clip with a caption taken directly from something Theo says. ““I like some of that sht” her response reads. Her retweet has already racked up over 15k likes on Twitter and is full of fans sharing their own responses to the clip. “girl i know it’s prob not your thing but i would be hopping on that!” reads one of the top comments. “i jus watched this today sh*t had me dying,” says another.
Sexyy Red’s Hilarious Response
This isn’t the first time she’s played into jokes about her looks. After a picture of her and Drake together went viral, Sexyy Red played into the hype. In an interview during Rolling Loud, she made jokes about the nature of their relationship before clarifying that it was all business. She also announced that they had been sharing some music back and forth and may have a potential collab on the way.
Her performance at Rolling Loud in Miami proved to be a controversial one. A particular fan accused her of “emasculating black men” with her set but she quickly took to Twitter to shut down his take. What do you think of Sexyy Red’s reply to the hilarious clip? Let us know in the comment section below.
In a recent interview with PopSugar Saweetie listed four artists that she dreams of collaborating with. Her answers were Nicki Minaj, Missy Elliott, Solange, and Trina. She said that she specifically picked women because there’s something special that happens when two women collaborate on music. “I think that something special happens when two worlds collide,” the rapper explained. “When we’re making music we are putting our soul and our spirit into it. Women in a room together is just magical, I think it’s great that we create magical moments that the world can witness.”
Saweetie went on to list some up-and-coming female artists that she likes. Ice Spice, GloRilla, Lola Brooke, Tia Korine, Lil Kayla, and Stunna Girl made the list. Some fans interpreted this as an extension to her list of potential future collaborators. Fans in the comments quickly got behind her potentially collaborating with Nicki. “If Saweetie and Nicki get on a track, Erica Banks will lose it,” one comment said. “Saweeti plus Nicki visuals would be crazy- that shiiii got me brick just thinking bout it!” another comment reads.
Over the weekend Saweetie released two new singles. The first was called “SHOT O’CLOCK” and saw her getting confrontational in her familiar demeanor. The second was called “BIRTHDAY” and featured the singer teaming up with YG and Tyga for a banger of a track. That collaboration is fittingly appropriate as she and YG have been facing dating rumors for months. They recently went out on a date night but what ended up getting the most attention was YG’s questionable outfit.
Saweetie, YG, and Tyga are all three headed out on tour together later this year. The trios “Str8 To The Klub” tour takes off in September and runs all the way until November. They’ll make 14 stops along the way in various North American cities. They’re also bringing along Kamaiyah, Wallie The Sensei, and DJ Vision. What do you think of Saweetie’s list of dream collaborators? Let us know in the comment section below.
Saweetie has unleashed two new singles destined to dominate music and pop culture. Collaborating with rap luminaries YG and Tyga, she sets the club scene on fire with the club-ready anthem “Birthday,” exuding confidence and suggestive charm in her signature style. The accompanying music video captures the trio in full party mode, and Saweetie commands the spotlight with her eye-candy allure and unapologetic attitude, truly embodying the role of a Goddess.
But the celebration doesn’t end there. Saweetie flips Suzanne Vega’s iconic “Tom’s Diner” in her follow-up track, “Shot O’Clock.” This upbeat nightclub anthem perfectly captures the energy of endless nights of partying with friends. Saweetie’s bold delivery and tell-it-like-it-is lyricism continue to captivate, showcasing her versatile talent as she effortlessly switches between punchy rap bars and catchy hooks.
These two singles are a glimpse of what’s to come from her highly anticipated debut album. With “Birthday” and “Shot O’ Clock,” Saweetie raises the bar, delivering bangers that will undoubtedly become party favorites for years to come, solidifying her status as a hip-hop heavyweight.
Love is in the air! Just a few days after YG and Saweetie were seen boo’ed up for date night in Los Angeles, it looks like the lovebirds have been keeping this exciting news in the vault. Today, YG, Saweetie, and Tyga announce their STR8 TO THE KLUB Tour, a true West Coast lineup if there ever was one.
The trio is slated to perform 14 arena shows in 13 North American cities, kicking things off on September 21st at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento and concluding at the KIA Forum in Los Angeles on November 22nd. This serves as YG’s second headlining tour this year, on the heels of his Red Cup Tour. This will be Tyga and Saweetie’s first headlining tour this year.
This isn’t the first time YG and Saweetie showed PDA, previously sighted cuddling up backstage at Rolling Loud Los Angeles. Additionally, the two were seen on baecation in Cabo at the end of May, with photos of them kissing and snuggled by the cool. The two collaborated on Mozzy’s “In My Face” record just last year, alongside 2 Chainz.
Tickets for the STR8 TO THE KLUB TOUR go on sale this Friday, July 21st, at 10am local time. Visit www.str8totheklub.com.
