Tony Yayo Reflects On Studio Sessions With Ye, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent & Eminem

Tony Yayo recently sat down for a sprawling interview with DJ Vlad. During the pair’s lengthy chat, the 44-year-old dishes on a number of pop culture and hip-hop topics.

In one of the clips, he talks about being in the studio with a number of high-profile names. This evidently includes fellow G-Unit rapper 50 Cent, but also Dr. Dre, Ye and Eminem.

During part of the sit-down, Yayo talks about the famous back-and-forth between 50 Cent and Kanye in 2007. On March September 11 that year, both artists dropped their respective third studio albums. 50’s Curtis and Kanye’s Graduation subsequently went head-to-head on the charts in a battle for the game’s most popular rapper at the time. Of course, the Chicago native came out on top, selling nearly one million copies in its first week.

“I’ve been in the studio with Kanye a couple of times. I remember him coming to Dre’s studio, ’cause everybody used to come to Dre’s studio. See, that’s why I’m so appreciative, ’cause those experiences for me, I would never forget. Forget the cars.. to be in the studio with Dr. Dre and Eminem, that was my dream,” reveals Yayo.

Another rapper he’s spent time with in the studio is Eminem. “Then we in the studio in Detroit.. it’s cold as a b*tch, we out there with Eminem. This [is] f*ckin’ Eminem, this dude just sold 16 million records. We used to go to L.A. with Dre and then we’d go mess with Em,” reflects the New York native.

Ultimately, it certainly seems as though Yayo is reflecting back on these experiences with gratitude. “That’s why I’m so humble, because my dreams came true, man. I might not have as much cars, chains and b*tches as any other rappers [but] it’s not about that. It’s about the experience, man,” says the 44-year-old.

Elsewhere in the interview, the G-Unit rapper shares his thoughts on Tory Lanez going to jail. “I mean, it could be rough. People are not used to the conditions. You nobody, you just a number. They gon’ make you feel like you’re not R. Kelly or Bill Cosby, they tryna make you feel like you just a number, and that’s what you are, just like everybody else,” he says on his own personal experiences behind bars.

Ye’s Ex-Business Manager Is Seeking More Time To Find Him

Ye was certainly successful in having one of the most controversial years in 2022. As his name was all over headlines for all of the wrong reasons, he consistently kept digging himself deeper into trouble.

Just a few weeks ago, his former business manager, Thomas St. John claimed that the “Jesus Walks” rapper was missing. Even with these claims, the 45-year-old still managed to make headlines. Now, St. John is requesting more time to find him, despite a couple of recent public spottings.

According to new reports from RadarOnline, the businessman is asking the court for three months to get ahold of the Chicago native. He wants to find him in order to hit him with a lawsuit.

This is obviously confusing considering that just two days ago, the disgraced artist was seen out with a mystery woman. On Sunday (January 8), photos from TMZ began circulating online of Ye driving around Beverly Hills in his Maybach with her. Additionally, photos show him at a church service on Saturday (January 7).

St. John alleges that he disappeared following his frightening string of hurtful, anti-semitic comments. The rapper’s ex-associate is suing him for $4.5 million in damages. This reportedly comes after the father of four is responsible for ending their partnership abruptly. St. John claims that the Graduation rapper agreed to paying him $300,000 a month for his roles as business manager and Chief Marketing Officer of Donda.

Additionally, he says that they had an agreed-upon 18-month contract. However, St. John claims he only saw payments for three months. After this, Ye began refusing to pay the remaining balance.

What do you think about the ongoing situation surrounding Ye? Comment your thoughts down below. Finally, make sure you stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest pop culture updates and stories.

St. John was operating as the Chief Financial Officer of DONDA and was to be paid $300,000 monthly.

“[St. John] needed a guarantee that [West] wouldn’t abruptly abandon the commercial relationship, in addition to the financial costs and hazards associated with committing to [West] as client. But Mr. St. John offered to settle for a contract lasting at least 18 months,” the lawsuit states.

Ye Cancelled in 48 Hours and Loses Billionaire Status

As year-end honors are being handed out, Kanye West may have one that he wishes to sidestep. Ye has been named Antisemite of the Year by a watchdog group. StopAntisemitism named Ye “the most problematic person of 2022” regarding the group’s mission, corraling 10,000 votes from members. For the last half of 2022, Ye found himself in an endless war with the Jewish community, where he hinged his comments in anti-semitic rhetoric. Ye received the dishonor by announcing love for Hitler, launching attacks on the Jewish community, and also having disparaging remarks about George Floyd. What did that get him? Cut from Adidas, Balenciaga, and other deals resulting in the loss of billions.

Kanye West’s Ex-Associate Claims He Is Missing

Kanye West has been going through some very difficult times as of late. Many of these difficult times have been the direct cause of his own actions. For instance, many have sworn off associating with West following his recent brigade of Nazi propaganda.

From his association with Nick Fuentes to his most recent interview with Gavin McInnes and Alex Jones, Ye has gone off the deep end. His obsession with Jewish people and Naziism is simply disturbing. Additionally, his fans have no clue if he will be able to snap out of it.

Is Kanye Missing?

In a recent report, it was revealed by Ye’s former business manager Thomas St. John that Kanye is now missing. St. John has been trying to get in contact with Kanye for a while. This is because he wants to serve him a lawsuit. However, St. John claims that Ye has been impossible to find.

As St. John revealed, Kanye hired him to be the CFO of Donda. Overall, his salary was $300,000 per month. Subsequently, they had a contract for 18 months. However, Ye eventually stopped paying St. John, who now wants the $4.5 million that he is allegedly owed.

At this point, it could just be that Ye is aware of the impending lawsuit and wants to go somewhere he cannot be found. However, if that is not the case, then this latest news is fairly concerning. After all, Ye’s most recent actions are that of someone who isn’t in complete control of their faculties.

North West Sang ‘Snowman’ With Sia And Had The Time Of Her Life At The Annual Kardashian Holiday Party

North West’s TikTok has been a sore subject for her estranged parents, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, but it’s a treat for her 11.7 million followers. Last month, the nine-year-old made a dancing TikTok with Lizzo while backstage at her Los Angeles stop of The Special Tour. And this weekend, North took to the platform to share glimpses into the annual Kardashian holiday party, hosted at Kourtney Kardashian’s Calabasas home on Christmas Eve (as noted by People and TMZ).

North shared a “Boy’s A Liar” TikTok with Kim and Kylie Jenner, and another pose-filled one with her mom, but the 17-second snippet of North duetting with Sia especially stood out.

North and Sia stood together in a life-sized gift box and sang “Snowman,” a track from Sia’s 2017 Everyday Is Christmas album. A fan account also re-posted clips of Sia singing her ubiquitous 2014 hit “Chandelier.”

The famously private artist will have at least one more public appearance in 2022. Sia is slated to perform at Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party, Miley Cyrus’ second NBC special recorded live from Miami. Cyrus will co-host the event with Dolly Parton. Other musical guests will include Fletcher, Latto and Rae Sremmurd. Still, North West’s TikTok will probably spark more FOMO on New Year’s Eve.

Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party will air live on Saturday, December 31 on NBC from 10:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. ET. The special will also stream live on Peacock.

Adidas Is Reportedly Sitting On $530 Million Worth Of Yeezys

At this point, everyone knows that Adidas has dropped Ye from its brand. After all, Kanye was doing some wild things on social media at the time, and quite frankly, he still is. Overall, no brand wants to be associated with straight-up Nazi propaganda, at least not post-World War 2.

Now that Ye is gone from the brand, Adidas has had to make some huge decisions in regard to how the brand will operate. Yeezy made up seven percent of their business. Additionally, according to USA Today, Yeezy accounted for $1.8 billion in revenue this year. Had it not been for the controversies, that number would have been higher

Adidas Has A Problem On Its Hands

In a new report from the Financial Times, it was revealed that Adidas is currently sitting on $530 million worth of Yeezys. By this, we mean the Yeezys that already had the Yeezy branding on them. In the future, the three-stripes brand will sell the original designs without Yeezy branding. However, they produced a whole lot of sneakers prior to cutting ties with Ye.

At this point, there is no telling what Adidas could even do with the shoes. No matter what, they are in an incredibly bad spot. If they burn the shoes, then that is $530 million down the drain. Meanwhile, they can’t sell them because that would be against the morals of the brand.

Overall, this has been a hard time for the brand, and it will only get harder from here. Without Yeezy, Adidas could see some massive losses in 2023. Not to mention, there is no guarantee that the Yeezy rebranding is successful.

Let us know what you think Adidas should do, down in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news from the sneaker world.
