Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign are gearing up for the release of their new joint album, Vultures. As they approach the release, they’ve been previewing the project at some listening events, most recently giving fans a taste of what’s to come in Miami. They’re scheduled to preview the album in Las Vegas next, and it seems as though fans outside of Vegas will be able to stream it.
A flyer featuring some cryptic hints about the event has been making its way around Twitter recently, and fans have made their own inferences about what it could mean. One account shared their own interpretation of the flyer, suggesting that the event would take place yesterday (December 13). That clearly didn’t happen, however, calling some of their other interpretations into question.
Regardless, fans are now speculating that the event will take place tonight, and be streamed on Yeezy.com. For now, this is unconfirmed, as is mostly everything in the world of Ye. Vultures was expected to drop this Friday (December 15), but that could also be up in the air. A few days ago, a pre-save link for the album appeared on Apple Music, but it has now disappeared, according to NFR Podcast. This latest development has led to rumors that the album will be delayed, which doesn’t appear to be out of the question considering the Chicago-born artist’s history. Regardless, fans are looking forward to seeing what he and Ty have in store for them.
Aside from the potential upcoming release, Ye also recently launched a new website. The site, Yews.News, features various articles pertaining to politics and current affairs. It even highlights a piece about Doritos launching a new Nacho-flavored spirit with Empirical. Are you hoping that Kanye West comes through with a listening event tonight? Are you looking forward to his new joint album with Ty Dolla Sign, Vultures? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.
There’s been a flurry of activity surrounding Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign in recent days, as the pair are gearing up to release Vultures, a new collaborative album. As of now, the project is set to be released this week, on December 15. However, some believe the project might get delayed.
Did Kanye West And Ty Dolla Sign’s ‘Vultures’ Album Get Delayed?
Some have noticed that Vultures used to have a page on Apple Music (previously viewable here), but now, it no longer does; The page currently comes up in Google search results, but leads to an error page when you click on the link. Some have interpreted this to mean that the album will be not released on schedule and pushed back.
Kanye West & Ty Dolla’s ‘Vultures’ has been removed from Apple Music
That said, neither West nor Ty have publicly said anything about delaying the album. Furthermore, West fans know that he often makes last-minute changes to his albums (even continuing to tweak after the project has been released already), so the missing Apple Music listing could perhaps be a symptom of something related to that.
Whatever the case may be, West and Ty are planning a listening event for the album in Las Vegas tonight (December 14), and here’s how to watch that.
Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign’s joint album Vultures inches closer to release but in true Kanye West fashion, they’ll be once again playing the album at a live event (which they choose to somewhat inaccurately call a “rave”) after first previewing the album in Miami. This time, they’re headed to Las Vegas — which makes a certain kind of sense, when you consider that venues in traditional media centers like LA and New York probably wouldn’t want Kanye running around dressed as a Klansman or suddenly spouting antisemitic conspiracy theories during the show (things he is unfortunately prone to doing).
If you’re not in Vegas and you just really want to see what Ye and Ty have in store for their album (which is already drawing both controversy for uncleared samples and praise for verses from Nicki Minaj and Kanye’s daughter North West), it looks like they’ll be streaming this one, as well. A flyer which has emerged online gives a crytptic trickle of information that fans have interpreted as meaning 11pm — although the other inferences seem… wrong, in hindsight, since no listening event happened last night.
Of course, it’s Kanye, so there could be any number of explanations, up to and including that there was never a listening party planned in the first place, he tried to throw something together at the last minute, and naturally, ran into the complication that venues have to be alerted, insurance and permits have to be secured, and all kinds of people have to get paid. Some folks now believe the listening event will be tonight instead. If it does go down, Yeezy.com appears to be the best bet for streaming it.
While the fate of Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s new collab album Vultures is unclear, we’ve at least heard what they want to include on it. Moreover, they recently hosted a listening party in Miami for it that was unsurprisingly late, star-studded, controversial, and showed great potential in some tracks… but without a lot of polish. Still, none of these are issues for Ye’s former collaborator, actor and comedian DeRay Davis. TMZ recently caught up with him at the LAX airport, and they asked him what he thought of the show, which he was returning from.
Furthermore, Davis remarked that Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign came through with a great project– at least, what they played during this latest “rave.” He said that his experience wasn’t like what many folks saw online, as he was much closer than many videos of it. For example, the actor posited that the black KKK hood that the Chicago rapper wore looked more like an executioner’s mask than anything else. If you thought that was the only thing he would say on his antics… then we have some bad news for you.
DeRay Davis Speaks On Kanye West’s Vultures: Watch
In addition, DeRay Davis expressed his belief that folks are making too big of a deal about Kanye West’s “Jewish b***h” bar on the album’s title track. According to him, the other songs and guest performances are too good to focus on just one bad line. Davis also identified Vultures as somewhere between “the old Kanye” with some 808s & Heartbreak thrown in there, and had heavy praise for Kodak Black, Ty Dolla $ign, and North West’s guest verses– particularly North’s surprise addition.
For those unaware, Davis worked with Kanye in the past as the voice on many of his skits on The College Dropout and Late Registration. His impression of the Chi’s own Bernie Mac and his leadership of Broke Phi Broke are among many iconic moments on these classic records. As such, this support is by no means surprising, but also ironic considering that said moments are so far removed from this album’s identity… and quality. Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign have a brand-new album coming out very soon called Vultures. However, there has been all sorts of controversy surrounding the album. Overall, it is very easy to see why this would be the case. After all, Ye has gone on numerous Nazi rants as of late. Furthermore, he has been pushing a lot of Nazi imagery and has even made an album cover inspired by Burzum, a Nazi black metal artist. Ye loves this new aesthetic and he will stop at nothing to push it to his mostly gullible fans.
Just a couple of days ago, a pre-save link made its way to Apple Music. This had a lot of fans convinced that the album was actually going to come out. Ye has a history of delaying projects, and this was some sort of sign that maybe he has changed his ways. However, it appears as though Ye has gone back to teasing the fanbase. In the tweet below, you can see that according to NFR Podcast, the pre-save link to Vultures is now gone. Although there is actually some good news afoot.
It was reported by some Kanye West fan accounts that a Las Vegas Vultures rave was going to take place on Wednesday night. Of course, that would have been last night, and no such footage exists on social media. However, one person asked Yes Julz, who subsequently confirmed that the rave was happening tonight. This means they could be having one final listening party before dropping the album at midnight. Or, they could just be doing one more preview before going back to the drawing board.

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign are gearing up for the release of their collaborative studio album, Vultures. While the duo have worked together on numerous occasions, this is the first time they have come together for a complete album under the name ¥$. From “Only One,” “Real Friends,” and “Fade” to “Freeee,” “Everything We Need,” and “Ego Death,” Kanye and Ty have shown fans that they make a good pairing. The last time they teamed up for a track was on “Junya Pt. 2” from Donda, Ye’s last official album. He did release last year’s unfinished demo album, Donda 2 via his Stem Player. Ty’s last full-length release was a collaborative album with dvsn, 2021’s Cheers To The Best Memories.
¥$ are set to release Vultures this Friday, December 15, although Kanye is notorious for failing to release albums on time. As we patiently await the release of Vultures, here is what we know so far about Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s upcoming album.
Back in October, Billboard reported that Kanye West was shopping a collaborative album with Ty Dolla $ign to distributors. The two had been spotted in multiple locations like Italy, Switzerland, and Saudi Arabia, likely recording the album. These initial reports were confirmed by Ty Dolla $ign when he tweeted “¥$” to promote a joint concert in Reggio Emilia, Italy. However, this event and all subsequent listening sessions were canceled. Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign performed old classics and played snippets of new music this past week during Art Basel in Miami, confirming that the album is on its way. They eventually revealed the album’s official release date and features at their official listening party in Sunrise, Florida.
The First Official Taste Of Vultures
Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s first release as ¥$ and lead single for Vultures arrived last month. The album’s title track features Bump J and Lil Durk, though Durk’s feature was re-added after initially being removed. The song notably features a line where Kanye mocks his antisemitic rant. He excitingly raps, “How I’m anti-Semitic? I just f*cked a Jewish bitch.” While the Anti-Defamation League did not respond favorably to the lyric, the single confirmed the album was officially on its way. Aside from “Vultures,” Fred again… premiered a track titled “Slide” from the album during a DJ set last month. There is also the Backstreet Boys-sampling intro, “Everybody,” a Timbaland-produced song teased by Kanye West on social media and later debuted in Miami.
Similar to the rollout for The Life Of Pablo, Ty Dolla $ign shared a written tracklist for Vultures, featuring 18 songs. Also in the photo is a new logo donning a double-headed eagle reminiscent of the Albanian flag. Some also noticed its similarity to the Nazi coat of arms, which is unsurprising given Kanye’s viral antisemitic comments. In addition to the tracklist, the album artwork for Vultures was revealed by Playboi Carti in a social media post. The cover repurposes Caspar David Friedrich’s Landscape With Graves. The German artist’s paintings were once used to promote Nazi ideology in the form of German nationalism. Ty Dolla $ign also shared an updated cover for Vultures labeled “Volume 1,” along with a pre-save link.
After playing snippets at Art Basel, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign premiered their collaborative album at the “Vultures Rave” in Sunrise, Florida. Ye donned a black KKK hood, reminiscent of the music video for his song “Black Skinhead.” During the 50-minute listening session, the duo premiered tracks with features from James Blake, Chris Brown, Young Thug, Lil Baby, Freddie Gibbs, Kodak Black, Bad Bunny, and Offset. Many of these artists attended, appearing onstage with Kanye and Ty.
Kanye’s daughter North, who contributed a verse to the album, stood on stage alongside her father. Also on the album is “New Body,” a Nicki Minaj-featuring track that was once meant for the now-scrapped Yandhi album. Producers on the album include 88-Keys, Fred again.., Timbaland, and Ronny J. For now, this is all we know about Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s upcoming album, Vultures. Check back in with HotNewHipHop for the latest updates.
Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign are about to drop off their new album Vultures. This album is going to be coming out on Friday, December 15th. Overall, it is a project that a lot of fans are excited about. However, there is no telling whether or not it will actually come out. Ye is known and actually notorious for delaying his projects. Having said that, there is a real possibility that he decides not to drop. Instead, he would just work on it some more before releasing the album at a later date.
On Monday night, Kanye took part in a listening party held in Miami. During this event, numerous artists pulled up. The artists included Freddie Gibbs, Lil Baby, and even Kodak Black. There are a lot of massive names on this album, and it remains to be seen how it will all come together. However, based on the snippets from Monday night, some fans are feeling like Ye is out of his depth, and perhaps even out of his mind right now. After all, that Backstreet Boys sample is leaving a bad taste in people’s mouths.
As you can see in the plethora of tweets below, many are calling Kanye West “washed.” Throughout Tuesday, that seemed to be the consensus on social media. While DONDA still had some fresh ideas, Ye is now punching well below he weight. It is a bit disillusioning to see this play out, although this is a common occurrence for many artists. It is next to impossible to be at the top of your game for a prolonged period, and Ye is finding that out the hard way. It remains to be seen if the full album will begin to sway opinions in another direction.

Oh, Kanye. Even when Mr. West is doing the one thing we actually want him to do, it’s like he goes out of his way to upset someone. During his recent listening event in Miami, one of the songs he played from Vultures, his and Ty Dolla Sign’s upcoming joint album, samples Backstreet Boys’ 1997 hit, “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back).” However, according to TMZ, Kanye never cleared the sample. Sources connected to the ’90s boy band (I guess they’re a man band now?) say he didn’t clear it — although, as per usual, TMZ’s pretty vague about just what that means.
After all, Kanye may not have had to go through the band to get a sample (or an interpolation) cleared, just the rights holders — who may have thought it was worth it for access to any potential sales success the song/album may have (Kanye is still pretty famous, after all). However, the band’s members themselves may not enjoy being connected to an artist who’s been out of the spotlight for the past 12 months due to making inflammatory remarks that many commentators have categorized as antisemitic.
Those remarks have already cost Kanye greatly; he’s no longer classified as a billionaire after losing lucrative endorsement deals with Adidas and other companies, his bank accounts were publicly closed, and his big idea for a massive, stadium-sized Vultures rollout was downsized when he couldn’t find a venue willing to take him. And just in case it seemed like the past year was enough time for him to learn his lesson, during that Miami listening, he straight up donned a Ku Klux Klan hood, taking the “Black Skinhead” motif to its most extreme interpretation in his ongoing efforts to stir the pot without actually adding any flavor (because it’s tasteless, you see).
So, although he may have permission to use the interpolation of “Everybody,” that doesn’t mean the band is getting paid for it nor do they seem happy about it (and recent history suggests he might not have cleared the clip in the first place, either way).
Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign’s new album, Vultures, will officially be dropping on Friday. Ty Dolla Sign shared the official artwork on Instagram, Tuesday afternoon, while instructing fans to presave the project on streaming services. The reveal had fans in his comments section hyped for the release.
“FOR ALL MY DOGS THAT STAYED DOWN WE UP AGAIN,” one user commented. Another wrote: “We used to Pray for times like this.” YG even popped up, commenting, “Homekoming,” with an emoji.
The newest details on the album come after Kanye and Ty Dolla Sign hosted a “rave” event to promote the project on Monday night in Miami. Offset, Freddie Gibbs, Lil Durk, Kodak Black, Chris Brown, and West’s daughter, North, among others, were in attendance. During the event, Ye rocked a hood in the style of his Yeezus single “Black Skinhead.” North also performed a verse on the track “Slide.” She rapped: “It’s gonna get messy, just just bless me bless me / It’s your bestie, miss miss Westie.”
Kanye and Ty Dolla Sign have been promoting their upcoming collaborative album for weeks at this point. Back in November, they shared the lead single, which is featured as the title track on Vultures. Ye dealt with backlash for his lyrics on the track after rapping, “How I’m antisemitic, I just f—ed a Jewish b—h,” referencing his myriad of antisemitism accusations. Other songs to make the cut include “New Body,” with Nicki Minaj. Be on the lookout for further updates on Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign’s Vultures on HotNewHipHop.
