AZ, “Truth Be Told,” Puts Together A Great Roster Of Tracks

Nas helped bring on some incredible talent over the years, even at the beginning stages of his careers. One of them was AZ. He is a Brooklyn native that was one of the few features to land on Nas’ legendary debut, Illmatic. To be more specific he was alongside the fellow New Yorker, as well as Olu Dara on “Life’s a B****.”

Since that placement, AZ has been going strong since 1995. He has dropped 17 projects and has been a true pioneer. The 51-year-old wants to prove he has still got it in 2023. This year, AZ put out an album and a handful of singles. His latest project was called Lucid Dreamz and that was released back on November 3. Now, he has a few more things to share on Truth Be Told.

While performing a stand-up comedy set at the Laugh Factory in Long Beach, CA Tiffany Haddish addressed her alleged DUI incident the best way she knows how – with a joke or two.

Just hours after being taken into custody, Haddish performed at the famed comedy house and dished on her early morning arrest in Beverly Hills. Get this, allegedly, she was discovered asleep at the wheel, as the car was still running. Yikes. 

During the stand-up set, audio obtained by TMZ features a member of the audience inquiring about the alleged bad look for the Haunted Mansion actress. The audio excerpt includes Haddish asking, “What happened last night?” to the audience member. “Ah, damn. You tell me. I don’t know” Haddish said. 

Later, she even threw God into her routine, “I prayed to God to send me a man with a job, preferably in a uniform.” “God answered my prayers,” Haddish said. “Because God believes in me.”
Back in 2022 Haddish threw out a similar. While appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon after her similarly embarrassing DUI arrest in Georgia, she said to Fallon, “I can say this, Jimmy… I’ve been praying to God to send me a new man. A good man. And God went ahead and sent me four… in uniform,” Haddish said. “And now I got a really great lawyer, and we’re going to work it out. I’ve got to get my asking of things to God a little better!”

Livvy Cook Reportedly Just 15 Years Old During Alleged Encounter With Josh Giddey

New details have reportedly emerged in the allegations that Oklahoma City Thunder star Josh Giddey had sexual relations with a minor. The girl in question, Liv Cook (who has also been reported as Livv and Livvy Cook), was originally believed to be a junior or senior in high school. This would make her around 17 at the time of the encounter with Giddey. However, new evidence appears to show that Cook is actually a sophomore, meaning that she was possibly as young as 15 at the time of her encounter with Giddey.

The original allegations against Giddey initially emerged on social media, with users appearing to post evidence of Giddey interacting with Cook. One of the widely-cited pieces of alleged evidence was a Snapchat post showing Giddey and Cook in a post-coital state of undress with the in-picture text caption “Just f-cked Josh Giddey”. Furthermore, social media users later uncovered more posts that appeared to corroborate the story, as well as Cooks’ TikTok account, which appeared to confirm that she was not 18. Giddey is yet to issue a statement about the allegations. However, he has turned off comments on his Instagram page.

The age of consent in Oklahoma is 16, although a “close-age exception” exists if one party is at least 14 and both parties are 18 or younger. According to state law, sexual relations between an unmarried couple in which one party is below the age of consent and the other is 18 or older could result in a second-degree statutory rape charge. The sentence if found guilty can range from one to 15 years in prison.

However, there are still debates about whether Cook is underage. In one TikTok video, she appears to use the hashtag “Iamover21”. Furthermore, Olivia Cook is proving to be a very popular name and the virality of the story is likely throwing up numerous false positives. Regardless, this is a developing story and we’ll have any updates as and when they emerge.

After more than 40 years, racing made its return to Las Vegas and in true Vegas style, it was a spectacle on and off the track. The Las Vegas Grand Prix, which forms part of the Formula One World Championship, took place on Saturday with celebs gathering to watch some of the top racers in the world on a specially-designed track, which included parts of the Las Vegas strip.

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky joined the Ferrari team where they wore headphones to hear the drivers communication with their teams. Justin Bieber had the honor of waving the checkered lap for the final lap of the race, which was won by Max Verstappen of Team Red Bull.

Other A-listers in attendance included Anthony Mackie, Steve Aoki, Chad Ochocinco, Axl Rose, Brad Pitt, Paris Hilton, David Beckham, Wayne Newton, Heidi Klum, Donny Osmond, Shaquille O’Neal, Cara Delevingne, and Patrick Dempsey, and more.

And even though Tom Brady, an avid racing fan, could not be there in person, he Facetimed some words of encouragement to Logan Sargeant, a rookie driver for Williams Racing.

The last Formula One race, the Caesars Palace Grand Prix, was held in Las Vegas in 1982 while the last street race held in the city since was the Vegas Grand Prix Champ Car in 2007. The race came with a great deal of controversy including construction costs and delays and interruptions to other Las Vegas businesses and residents. In addition to reports that fans also tore down view-blocking screens to get a glimpse of the race, others who actually purchased tickets are also upset that they did not get their money’s worth. The race has already been hit with a class-action lawsuit on behalf of the 35,000 people who bought tickets for Thursday’s practice session that was cancelled when Carlos Sainz’s Ferrari was damaged by a loose drain cover.

More recently, it was Tate’s thoughts on a particular drug that have him going viral, especially after Snoop Dogg’s apparent reaction to the podcaster’s opinion on his favourite treat.

“Weed, Oh, you mean… Gay?” Tate wrote on the morning of November 15th. The message brought in everything from chuckles to Mary Jane connoisseurs unimpressed with the former kickboxer. Interestingly, the very next day, Snoop announced on various social platforms that he’s retiring from marijuana which has long been a marker of his brand. “I’m giving up smoke,” he wrote on Thursday afternoon, along with a black and white photo reading, “After much consideration and conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke. Please respect my privacy at this time.”

Of course, we can’t say for sure whether the “B**ch Please” hitmaker saw Tate’s message or not. However, Twitter users couldn’t help but crack jokes about the timing of the two posts. “He’s becoming too powerful,” one person joked of the Big Brother alum. When Andrew came across that message, he reposted it on his own page, declaring, “I’m just getting started.”

Joe Burrow Suffers Season-Ending Injury

Joe Burrow has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a torn ligament in his right wrist. Burrow would exit Thursday night’s loss to the Ravens in the second quarter and was officially ruled out by halftime. It’s not Burrow’s first injury of the season, as he spent the first weeks of the season battling a nagging calf injury. Furthermore, the Bengals faced heavy criticism for trying to play Burrow through his injury despite his evident discomfort.

With Burrow out, the Bengals will likely turn to Jake Browning as the full-time starter. Browning threw for 68 yards on 8-for-14 passing against the Ravens. NFL Investigating Burrow Injury Situation

The NFL has reportedly opened an investigation into why Joe Burrow was not listed on the Bengals’ injury report despite being visibly injured prior to the game. Burrow was seen exiting the team bus with a soft cast on his throwing hand. Furthermore, According to head coach Zac Taylor, the injury has been confirmed as a sprained wrist. However, he denied any knowledge of the injury prior to the game. “That was the first I saw anything about it,” Taylor said of the mid-game evaluation.

Injury report compliance is something taken very seriously by the NFL. Teams are required to report any injuries, even if the player takes the field. In 2019, the Steelers were fined $75,000 and coach Mike Tomlin was fined a further $25,000 for injury report discrepancies surrounding the status of Ben Roethlisberger in Week 2.
