“Following the incident involving Tyreek Hill, I have initiated an Internal Affairs investigation to ensure a thorough review of the matter. One of the officers involved in the incident has been placed on administrative duties while the investigation is conducted,” she said. “I’m committed to transparency and accountability to the community with any situation involving my officers.” Bodycam footage of the traffic stop was later released. It shows Hill being forcibly removed from his vehicle and thrown on the ground.
Ultimately, he was left in handcuffs for roughly 20 minutes and released. The officers’ aggressive demeanor quickly gained attention online, however. As social media users continue to comment on the upsetting footage, Rick Ross has weighed in, slamming the officer who pulled him out of his car. According to Ross, Hill simply rolled his window up after handing over his license to prevent onlookers from recognizing him and gathering at the scene. The incident took place right in front of the stadium where he was playing that night. This means it’s likely that there were fans around. “You st*pid motherf*cker, he was doing that to stop a riot from beginning,” he explained.
Ross continued, also claiming that the officer who detained Hill is incompetent, as is whoever’s in charge of the officer. In case you missed it, Hill was pulled over outside the Miami Dolphins stadium for a moving violation, which escalated to Hill being pressed into the cement and detained. Dolphins lineman Calais Campbell was also detained, and body cam footage showed hostile officers throughout the exchange.
That was horrendous how they treated him. They didn’t treat him like a human being,” Rosenhaus said during an appearance on The Dan LeBetard show. “There’s no place for [those] police officers to be on the force.”
In a statement from Hill’s attorney, Julius B. Collins, to TMZ, the star wide receiver calls for the officer’s badges: “We are of the opinion that the officer’s use of force was excessive, escalating and reckless. We are demanding that the officer be terminated effective immediately.”
The statement added, “While we are in no way accusing the officer of being racist, we are accusing the customs and practice of law enforcement from a historical standpoint of being discriminatory and oppressive to black and minority communities.
“we cannot ignore this fact and remain silent on the issue just because it’s a tough conversation.”

The footage shows Hill growing increasingly frustrated as the officers continued to instruct him to lower his window. After several verbal exchanges, Hill was physically removed from his vehicle, handcuffed, and briefly detained. Hill repeatedly expressed confusion and frustration, telling CNN, “I’m still kind of shell-shocked from it.”
Following the release of the body-camera footage, the Miami Dolphins organization publicly criticized the behavior of the officers involved. The team expressed disappointment in the “unnecessary force” directed towards Hill and his teammates, who later arrived at the scene. “It is both maddening and heartbreaking to watch the very people we trust to protect our community use such unnecessary force and hostility towards these players, yet it is also a reminder that not every situation like this ends in peace, as we are grateful this one did,” the team said in a statement. In response to the backlash from Hill’s detention, the local police union defended the actions of the officers involved. According to Steadman Stahl, president of the South Florida Police Benevolent Association, Hill was uncooperative from the moment the officers approached his vehicle, which led to them placing him in handcuffs for their own safety.
“Upon being stopped, Mr. Hill was not immediately cooperative with the officers on scene who, pursuant to policy and for their immediate safety, placed Mr. Hill in handcuffs,” Stahl told CNN. “Mr. Hill, still uncooperative, refused to sit on the ground and was therefore redirected to the ground. Once the situation was sorted out within a few minutes, Mr. Hill was issued two traffic citations and was free to leave. In this case, while we will wait for the investigation to run its course, based on what we know, we stand with the actions of our officers but look forward to further open communication moving forward.”
Investigation & Officer Reassignment
One officer involved in the incident has been placed on administrative duties pending the outcome of the internal review. The officer, identified as Danny Torres, is a veteran with 27 years of service. While the investigation is ongoing, Torres’ attorneys have spoken out in defense of their client. They stated that they support the review but believe the officer should be reinstated.
Director Daniels of the Miami-Dade Police Department emphasized her commitment to transparency and accountability in all matters involving her officers. However, she stopped short of making any specific predictions about the outcome of the investigation.
Hill’s Reflection On The Incident
In an interview with CNN, Tyreek Hill reflected on the altercation, expressing a mix of confusion and embarrassment. “I was following rules. I wasn’t moving fast because you know I got injuries, I got things that I go through, I play a physical sport, I’ve been doing this for a moment now man so I’m dealing with some stuff, so I guess the officers, they felt like I wasn’t doing it on their timing.” Hill also speculated on how differently the situation could have unfolded if he weren’t a high-profile athlete, suggesting that it could have ended much worse.

He has a Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs, and as it stands, he is a weapon on the Miami Dolphins offense. Heading into the upcoming season, there are some big expectations for Hill and the rest of his teammates. Although for now, it seems like they are all up to the challenge.

A third woman has now revealed that she also had a kid with him. Hill also has three other children from a previous relationship with ex-Crystal Espinal. That is a total of six children by four different women for the star wideout.
During his appearance on ‘Million Dollaz Worth Of Game,’ the star wideout did not definitively address the speculation about the number of his children, leaving the actual count shrouded in mystery. Hill was questioned about his family life by Gillie Da King and influencer Wallo, who jokingly referred to him as the ‘all-time leading tackler’ in his off-field role as a father. Hill’s response, or lack thereof, left the possibility open that the speculated number of ten children could be accurate or even higher.

Hill said of his many children, “Yeah man, I grew up in the south, man.” Hill was adamant that no matter the number of children, he is a good father. He continued, “You see what it is, you see my boys running around here. It don’t matter how many kids I have, a lot of people won’t be able to say Tyreek don’t take care of his kids though.” Hill explained how its hard to focus on football at times because of his daughters. He said, “They want to be daddy’s girl, they want to be held and tough like that.” He reflected on how his career prevents him from spending quality time.
Hill was traded from the Kansas City Chiefs to the Miami Dolphins in 2022. he then signed a contract worth between $120 million and $30 million annually. Brittany Lackner sued the wide receiver for paternity. She claimed he was the father of her child, who was born in February 2023. The baby mama drama continued, with two more women coming forward with similar grievances. Tyreek Hill almost has enough kids to field an NFL offense.

“More importantly, your beautiful mother and your family was straight,” he continued. “They was straight. I didn’t film none of them, homie. And let’s not act like I’m the one that premiered the fire to the world. It was five helicopters circling over your crib and my crib. We stay right across the street from each other. I didn’t post you and your girl outside, I didn’t post mom. None of that. But, sh*t was everywhere, homie. But, I was on your podcast before. I always f*cked with you. Now come on my podcast. It only makes sense.”
