Travis Hunter’s Fiancée Shares That He Used To Drive Her To Parties And Wait Outside “For Hours”

It’s safe to say that Travis Hunter’s weekend has been spoiled a little, to say the least. The potential first overall NFL draft pick is currently having to defend his fiancée thanks to some viral videos. After being announced as the Heisman Trophy winner, he went up to go embrace his biggest supporters. His head coach, Deion Sanders, as well as supposed family joined Leanna Lenee, his future spouse. However, she wasn’t quick to stand up. In fact, Coach Prime actually had to nudge her to get up and hug him.

To her credit, she did give a pretty good explanation as to why that happened. You can find that video below. Then, the other clip that got folks attention was from a fan meet and greet of sorts. Shortly taking a picture with a female fan, Lenee said, “What do you want me to do… I just sit here then.” This could be looked at a multitude of ways. She could genuinely be asking a question; it could have been a reaction to it being another female, or it was an instance of her being inconsiderate. Of course, the internet is going to assume the worst there.

Because of all of this hate, Lenee revealed that she had been drinking and crying over the last couple of days. You can tell it’s been getting to her based on the TikTok of her explaining the Heisman situation. Hunter has also since asked those commenting on everything to buzz off. Of course, he’s not going to take any crap from people outside of their relationship, and it’s more than earned the right to respond the way he did. But as you also know, the internet is a cruel and ruthless place. No amount of explaining will really silence the staunch doubters, and it’s evident thanks to another video circling. A clip of Lenee sharing some of the nice things Travis has done for him in the past is getting people to react strongly.

In it, she reveals that she loves to party. However, the Colorado Buffalo doesn’t partake and also doesn’t drink. So, in Lenee’s words, she says, “I’m Hispanic, so I have tequila like in my veins. So I drink — I don’t drink a lot, but I drink — and I used to party and stuff. He would literally drive me, sit outside for hours while I’m inside partying, and then take us home.” She was very appreciative of those acts, adding, “He never tried to be like, ‘Oh, just because I don’t drink, you can’t drink, or you can’t hang out with your friends.’” Expectedly, people are spinning this in the most negative light possible, assuming she was up to no good while he sat and waited. Despite winning the Heisman Trophy over the weekend, things are not all sunshine and rainbows for Travis Hunter. The Colorado Buffalo wideout and cornerback took home the coveted hardware after being in a competitive two-horse race with Boise State Bronco running back, Ashton Jeanty. It was a controversial decision, but Travis definitely made a strong case with playing on both sides of the ball at a high level. But he’s not having a bad time right now because of that. Instead, it has to do with his fiancée, Leanna Lenee, and her controversial behavior over these last couple of days.

Fans of the future NFL draft pick are trying to warn him about her intentions and the red flags that continue to pop up. In terms of this weekend, it started at the Heisman ceremony on Saturday. When Travis Hunter was announced the winner, his head coach, Deion Sanders, and his other loved ones stood up immediately to congratulate him. Fans Are Trying To Reach The Heisman Winner

While at a scheduled fan meet and greet like event, Lenee is seen sitting on the couch while Travis takes pictures with the kids. But once again, it’s how she’s putting herself on display in public that has everyone upset for the athlete. In the clip, you can hear Lenee say with some attitude, “What do you want me to do… I just sit here then.” But Travis Hunter is standing by his girl’s side during this unrelenting barrage of hate. She claims to have been drinking and crying because of it and he’s not trying to hear it from the media one bit. You can see his heated response in the repost from The Neighborhood Talk above.

Even though he’s trying to put a stop to this, fans feel they are just trying to help. If you go on Twitter right now you will see tons of them pointing to past comments, Lenee’s body language, and all of the above. Comedian Godfrey is even trying to have a heart-to-heart with Travis Hunter and making him aware of her questionable actions and words. He’s been one of many to point out how Lenee said in an older Q&A video with Travis that “he wasn’t my type.” She did try to debunk that skepticism around it by commenting on how he was in high school when he tried to shoot his shot. All in all, Travis’ response tells us that he’s committed to Leanna after getting engaged to her earlier this year and we sincerely wish them nothing but the best!

NCAA football superstar Travis Hunter just took home the Heisman Trophy on Saturday night (December 14), leading him to reflect on a lot of his achievements. However, what many fans might not have expected was a special message for Lil Wayne, who represents an important bond between Hunter and his fiancée Leanna Lenee. Moreover, Lenee is a massive Weezy fan who put the cornerback and wide receiver onto his music, and he eventually became a huge fan. For those unaware, some folks online have speculated that the couple is actually at odds or not as in love as they seem, so this also combats that narrative.

“First, I want to thank my fiancée and my mother,” Travis Hunter remarked while trying not to cry. “They’ve been with me since the first time I had surgery, my first year in college. Travis Hunter Cements NCAA Legacy As Historic 2024 Heisman Trophy Winner

Travis Hunter, the best football player in college football, was awarded the coveted Heisman Trophy on Saturday night (Dec. 14) in New York City with Coach Prime and son and Colorado quarterback Sheduer Sanders in attendance. In two years with Colorado, Hunter has produced some of college football’s greatest highlights ever as a two-way player at Wide Receiver on offense and Cornerback on defense. The 21-year-old (#12) was among four candidates, winning with narrow voting results. Overcome with emotion, the Colorado star thanked those who supported his journey. “I thank God, man. I never thought I’d be in this position,” Hunter said during his acceptance speech.

During his emotional speech, Hunter paid tribute to his father, Travis Hunter Sr., who couldn’t attend the ceremony. “Dad, I love you,” he said. “For all the struggles you went through… now look at your oldest son. I did it for you.” On Saturday, Hunter became the first receiver to win the Heisman Trophy since Alabama’s DeVonta Smith in 2020, the first defensive back and two-way player to win since Michigan’s Charles Woodson in 1997, and the first Colorado player to win since running back Rashaan Salaam in 1994.

Hunter and the Colorado Buffaloes with play in their first bowl game since Coach Prime took over at the Alamo Bowl in San Antonio, Texas, on December 28.

Deion Sanders Already Knows Where He Wants Shedeur Sanders To Play: “Certain Cities Where It Ain’t Gonna Happen”

Deion Sanders says that his son, Shedeur Sanders, and teammate Travis Hunter, will only play for certain teams in the NFL. Appearing on the Million Dollaz Worth Of Game podcast, the Colorado head coach discussed his plans for each of his star players’ future NFL careers. For Shedeur and Hunter, he expects: “Top-4,” in the draft and hinted at a scenario similar to Eli Manning.

He explained: “Anywhere from 1-4, one of them is gonna be 1. One of them is gonna be 1, and the latter one would not go behind 4. Now, all this is subjective because I know where I want, kind of want them to go — and let’s not forget Shilo (Sanders). But I know where I want them to go. So, there’s certain cities where it ain’t gonna happen. It’s gonna be an Eli.”

Deion Sanders Celebrates With Shedeur Sanders

LeBron James left college stars Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter as he went out of his way to talk with them at the Lakers’ NBA opener. Hunter and Sanders were there alongside their head coach Deion Sanders in Denver for Nuggets-Lakers. After the game, LeBron sought out the two players and told them how much he loved their game. Hunter was seen screaming and holding onto his quarterback’s shirt after LeBron moved on. Meanwhile, Sanders asked if he could have LeBron’s jersey.

Sanders and Hunter are two of the biggest pieces in Coach Prime’s complex Colorado jigsaw. Sanders is 4th in yards (2420), 3rd in touchdowns (21), and 9th in completion percentage (72.3%). He has often been the line between victory and defeat as the Buffaloes continue to move further and further away from their 1-11 2022 campaign. Deion Sanders Approves Of SNL Impression

However, an appearance at NBA opening night isn’t the only reason that the Sanders family is in the news. Deion Sanders recently gave his verdict on a recent impression Kenan Thompson did of him on SNL. “I’m a fan of Kenan, let’s get that straight. I love what he’s brought to comedy. I had the pleasure and honor to host Saturday Night Live before and I’ll never forget those moments,” Sanders said of the skit at his press availability this week. Thompson brought Coach Prime to life in a Weekend Update segment that poked fun at Sanders’ larger-than-life personality. As for Sanders’ SNL hosting gig, that came in February 1995, a couple weeks after he won Super Bowl 30 with the Niners.

Sanders and the Buffs are back in action this weekend following their bye week. The 4-3 Buffs take on #23 5-2 UCLA, who have traded wins and losses for their last four games. The Bruins enter coming off a big 42-7 win over Stanford, a team that stunned Colorado two weeks ago. With five games and three ranked opponents left, every game is a must-win for Colorado if they want to stand a chance of playing in bowl season this year.

Deion Sanders On Travis Hunter Suiting Up Against Stanford: “There’s A Tremendous Chance He Plays”

Deion Sanders is cautiously confident that he will have two-way star Travis Hunter back in the Colorado lineup when the Buffaloes take on Stanford this Friday. “There’s a tremendous chance he could play. It goes by how he looks, how he performs in practice, how his wind is. He has to be in shape. “I don’t want him to be a liability, I want him to always be a tremendous asset. Travis came to me [Monday] morning, saying, ‘What more can I do to help us get to the point that we need to get to?’ I love the team aspect of Travis 100 percent. I hope he can play,” Sanders told reporters this week.

Hunter has been out since suffering a lacerated liver against Colorado State on September 16. Since then, Colorado has dropped from 3-0 to 4-2. They opened Pac-12 play with back-to-back losses against Oregon and USC. However, they were able to survive 1-4 Arizona State to escape with a win and snap an eight-game conference losing streak.

Colorado Eye Bounce Back Against Ailing Cardinal

Colorado may have gotten the win last weekend, but it wasn’t clean and it didn’t leave Sanders in the best mood. “Wonderful win, but we played like hot garbage and I’m trying to figure it out. I’m sick of this. We’re better than this,” Sanders said following the 27-24 win. He also alluded to the team’s reliance on his son, starting quarterback Shedeur, bailing them out of bad performances. “It’s like we’re waiting on him to put on his cape and do what he does. That’s what he does every week.” Arizona State had Colorado’s for most of the game. However, a 43-yard pass in the final minutes allowed the Buffs to kick the game-winning field goal

Next up on the docket is 1-4 Stanford. It’s been a terrible year for the Cardinal, with their sole win coming against Hawai’i in Week 1. Their subsequent four-game losing streak included a 30-23 loss to FCS side Sacramento State. It’s the perfect game for Colorado to reset ahead of a tough second half of the season. Colorado’s final five games of the season feature four ranked opponents (UCLA, Oregon State, Washington State, and Utah). It also features a game against Arizona, who pushed USC to triple overtime last weekend.

Travis Hunter And Henry Blackburn Link Up To Quash Beef Rumors

Colorado two-way star and Colorado State defensive starter Henry Blackburn linked up this week to show there’s no bad blood between the two players. A Colorado State spokesperson told ESPN that the two players met and went bowling this week. Rumors of a grudge have circulated ever since Blackburn’s illegal hit on Hunter two weeks ago left Hunter with a lacerated liver. The meet-up will be part of an upcoming video on Hunter’s YouTube channel. Blackburn’s teammate Ron Hardge III, whose brother plays at Colorado, helped connect the two players.

Even with any notion of bad blood quashed, Hunter remains on the sidelines. He missed Colorado’s 42-6 loss to Oregon last weekend and is set to miss their upcoming game against #8 USC on Saturday. It’s unclear how many more games he will miss. Colorado’s first two games of October are a road game against Arizona State and a home game against Stanford.

Colorado Given “Puncher’s Chance” Against USC

#8 USC and Heisman candidate Caleb Williams is certainly not the opponent that Colorado would want to face without Hunter. However, they haven’t been counted out completely. ESPN‘s Paul Finnebaum said that the Buffs have a “puncher’s chance” against USC. “They are playing one of the better teams in the country, but one that is still suspectable on defense.” While other contributors one Get Up, Football weren’t as confident in an upset, they were still willing to argue that Colorado has come leaps and bounds from their one-win 2022 campaign.

While the loss to Colorado killed most of the “Colorado National Champions” momentum, most pundits see the Buffs as, at the very least, a bowl team this year. To do that, they will need a minimum of three more wins to finish at least 6-6. Arizona State (1-3) and Stanford (1-3) both seem like good candidates to get them to five wins. However, that’s where the gimmes end for Colorado. The rest of their slate is UCLA (3-1), #19 Oregon State (3-1), Arizona (3-1), #16 Washington State (4-0), and #10 Utah (4-0).

Colorado Football Dual Threat Travis Hunter Out with Lacerated Liver

Coach Prime and the Colorado Buffaloes will be without dual-threat Travis Hunter for the next few weeks. Hunter suffered a lacerated liver after a brutal hit at the hands of Colorado State’s Henry Blackburn.

Skip Bayless revealed the injury during Monday’s episode of UNDISPUTED, citing he will miss 3-4 weeks.

According to ESPN, Blackburn has received death threats for the hits and his phone number and campus address were leaked online.

“We’re very concerned about our player’s safety, as Henry and his family have continued to receive these threats,” Colorado State athletic director Joe Parker told ESPN. “Henry never intended to put anyone in harm’s way on the football field. It’s not what we teach or coach. We hope that the irrational vitriol directed at Henry stops immediately.”

Hunter is not holding hard feelings, stating, “something bad is going to happen on the field sooner or later.”

Skip Bayless Reveals Travis Hunter Suffered Lacerated Liver After Vicious Hit

Travis Hunter has been mesmerizing football fans so far this season, and for good reason. For those who may not know, Hunter is the superstar cornerback and wide receiver for the Colorado Buffaloes. In the first two games of the season, he played pretty well every snap on both sides of the ball. Overall, this kind of dual-threat player is seldom seen at any level. Although some feel like it won’t last, there are some who believe he can be a game-changer once he reaches the NFL level.

Unfortunately, Hunter was targeted on Saturday night in a win against the Colorado State Rams. He was hit late and overall, it was a crushing blow that sent him to the ground. When he got hit, he was writhing in pain and it was difficult to watch. Subsequently, he was taken out of the game and brought to the hospital. Fans have been expressing concern for him ever since. Today, Skip Bayless provided a crucial update on the young man.

Travis Hunter Is A Warrior

As you can see in the clip above, Bayless reveals that Hunter suffered a lacerated liver. Any sort of injury to a major organ is going to lead to caution and concern. Simply put, it was right to take him out of the game. Moreover, when it comes to his return, it will take three to four weeks for him to get right. This means he will not get to play against Oregon and USC, which are Colorado’s two most difficult games of the entire season. They are also the games where all eyes will be on Coach Prime and his squad.

It is safe to say right now that no one expects Colorado to make it through these next two games with an undefeated record.
