Megan Thee Stallion’s ‘Traumazine’ Album Has Delivered Plenty Of Fan-Favorite Lyrics

It’s not a new music weekend without bold statements that either crown or trash the weekend’s offering. Additionally, people are keeping an open ear for their next cryptic tweet or Instagram caption. For many, there was much excitement about Megan Thee Stallion’s sophomore album Traumazine which was released today (August 12) and the rapper’s fanbase made it known by posting some of their favorite lines throughout the day.

The standouts appear to be “NDA,” “Not Nice,” “Anxiety,” and “Consistency” featuring Jhene Aiko per the social media commentary. The Grammy winner said that this album would show a side of her people had never seen, and fans are noticing how vulnerable she has been. It is not a Meg album without beaming confidence either and they were sure to acknowledge that as well.

Traumazine, out today, was led by the singles “Plan B,” “Sweetest Pie” with Dua Lipa, and “Pressurelicious” with Future but the “WAP” artist held the official release date up until yesterday (August 11). The 18-track album also features Latto, Key Glock, and Lucky Daye. Megan Thee Stallion co-hosted The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.

Megan Thee Stallion Recorded ‘At Least 50 Songs’ For Her New Album ‘Traumazine’

Megan Thee Stallion had a big night yesterday: Aside from releasing her new album Traumazine, she was also the guest host of The Tonight Show. Aside from co-helming the episode with Jimmy Fallon, she also played the more traditional role of interview guest. During that chat, she revealed she recorded over 50 songs for Traumazine, 18 of which ended up on the album.

Fallon asked Meg how she knows when an album is ready and she responded:

“I feel like it just feels good. Like, I literally… this is the longest time I’ve ever taken to record an album. Like, I had at least 50 songs recorded for this, and we only chose 18. It was hard because as an artist sometimes, your label can kind of try to control you and tell you what to do, and they kind of pick your songs for you. But I feel like I made it a point to write all songs that I loved and I like and that meant something to me, so out of however many songs I wrote, all of them feel good to me. I could put out all 50 of those songs and they still mean something to me.”

The tracks that didn’t make Traumazine could end up coming out at some point, though: The host asked if the unused songs just go “in the vault” and Meg replied, “They go in the vault, but I think… I do stuff like release mixtapes and things like that, just to keep my hotties on their toes, like, ‘Hey, I’m about to drop something.’”

Check out the interview above.

Listeners React To The Sensual Nature Of Megan Thee Stallion’s New Song ‘Red Wine’ From ‘Traumazine’

Megan Thee Stallion is many things. Talented, charismatic, fun-loving, and confident. One thing she is not is shy about her sex appeal and enjoyment of coitus. Amidst the excitement of her new album Traumazine dropping, listeners cannot help but question who or what inspired her behavior on “Red Wine.”

Like many songs from the 27-year-old, “Red Wine” vividly discusses body parts and how she wants to use them. The moans throughout the chorus add a whole other layer of sexiness to the record produced by Bankroll Got it, Shawn “Source” Jarrett, Whethan, and Dwilly. Following along with Meg’s energy, listeners are either feeling sexy themselves, desirous of sex or marveling at the blatant vulgarity the Houston Hottie expresses.

“Red Wine” is one of the 18 tracks off of Megan Thee Stallion’s new album Traumazine. The album, led by the singles “Plan B,” “Sweetest Pie” featuring Dua Lipa, and “Pressurelicious” featuring Future also includes guest appearances from Latto, Lucky Daye, Rico Nasty, Jhene Aiko, and more. Traumazine comes a little under two years after her debut album Good News, though she has kept listeners well fed in the interim, especially with the 2021 project Something For Thee Hotties.
