Diddy Documentary’s New Trailer Features Al B. Sure! And Other Alleged Insiders

There are various media projects about the Diddy scandal in the works, and another big one will premiere very soon. Moreover, Peacock’s Diddy: The Making Of A Bad Boy goes live on January 14 via the streaming service, and we just got a trailer for it. It features various alleged associates of his (an intern, producer, bodyguard, etc.) recounting their supposed experiences, speaking to his level of fame, and detailing the crimes that he awaits trial for, plus other alleged behaviors. You should take it all with a grain of salt, as a court of law will conclude on these accusations, but it nevertheless seeks to provide a harrowing inside look into Sean Combs’ orbit.

Furthermore, one voice in this Diddy documentary is Al B. Sure!, who fathered a child with the Bad Boy mogul’s ex, Kim Porter. He’s been very vocal about his distrust of Combs and even launched some heavy implied accusations his way regarding Porter’s death and their family dynamic as a whole. Still, the nature of Al’s inclusion in The Making Of A Bad Boy remains unclear, so we’ll have to wait for January 14 for the full treatment.

Elsewhere, one of the more recent updates we got on Diddy was an alleged report that he’s refusing to leave his cell in prison as he awaits federal trial on accusations of racketeering and sex trafficking. This narrative, and many others that emerged around his jail stay, also lack a solid confirmation, as they come from the prosecutors against him in various sexual assault lawsuits. It’s hard to parse through all this information as it relates to distinct civil and criminal filings, but little by little, some things are focusing up.

Meanwhile, Diddy’s legal team recently alleged that a West Virginia investigator is unlawfully supplying federal authorities with crucial leaked information regarding his prison stay. This relates to the ongoing process of what evidence and information the federal trial will work with as both sides attempt to solidify their cases as much as possible. Sadly, no documentary or accusation will fully answer the questions at hand until a fair and transparent legal process lays it all out in front of us.

Doechii Teases Potential Music Video For “Denial Is A River” With A “Family Matters” Twist

There’s not much else we can say about the year that Doechii is having. One of TDE’s brightest stars, the Swamp Princess has certainly earned that nickname in 2024. After breaking into the mainstream briefly with “What It Is” last year, not many were sure of where she could go from there. However, after a few spot singles and loosies getting more explorative, people began to pay closer attention. Then, in August of this year she went to make a serious statement that she was here to stay. That being her debut mixtape, Alligator Bites Never Heal. Regardless of the majority of the tracks having such short runtimes, her emotional and stylistic ranges were something to behold.

It almost felt like this was her true introduction to everyone and it’s one that’s going to stick with us for years to come. On top of praise from the more casual listeners, critics have fallen in love with her potential and current talent. It’s up for Best Rap Album and Best Rap Performance in part due to “NISSAN ALTIMA.” Additionally, she’s a nominee for Best New Artist and Remixed Recording. Now, it’s a matter of Doechii following up on this run with a debut album that’s even better or on par with her mixtape.

Doechii’s Creative Excellence Continues

Concerts, music videos, and features will also play a role too, and at the start of 2025, it looks like we will be treated to one of those things. According to Uproxx, Doechii shared an interesting teaser trailer to her social media called, “Denial Is A River Show.” It’s of course a direct correlation to her incredible track of the same name and it looks to be a music video.

There’s been some light speculation online that Doechii is teasing features for her album that she says is coming in ’25. It would some guest list too as TDE label mates ScHoolboy Q and SiR pop in. Others include Teezo Touchdown, Zack Fox, Rickey Thompson, Baby Tate, and DJ Miss Milan. Earl Sweatershirt rounds things out as “Brad Pitt” in reference to the meme above. Everyone is introduced in Family Matters fashion with the original theme song from the 90’s sitcom included too. Time will tell what this “show” actually is, but regardless, we are eagerly anticipating it

Earlier this week, Cam’ron took to Instagram to announce an exciting new project he has on the way. The project in question is a new show, titled Talk With Flee, which is scheduled to premiere next month. To give his followers a preview of what’s to come, he dropped a short trailer. It’s jam-packed with references that are sure to make fans tune in.

At one point, he begins to discuss his “funny” relationship with Jay-Z, and how he knew him before he was popular. He also mentions Dipset’s iconic Verzuz battle with The LOX, his time on Roc-A-Fella, and more.

This will be his second show, as he also co-hosts the sports talk show It Is What It Is alongside his longtime friend Mase. He frequently makes headlines for his hot takes and hilarious commentary.

Earlier this month, for example, he and Mase reacted to Shannon Sharpe’s Instagram Live sex tape fiasco. He speculates that the entire thing was staged, and even trolled him with a parody of the unfortunate incident. Sharpe later stated that he’d only be taking criticism from Joe Rogan or the Kelce brothers. Quavo Stars In Teaser For New Film, “Takeover”

Quavo makes an appearance in the new trailer for the upcoming movie, Takeover. The film follows Billy Zane, who stars as a leader of an international heist ring. For the film, the company Trioscope will be blending live action and CGI shots by using its “updated Trioscope SEE technology that elevates moving image stylization with enhanced stability, precision, and multi-layer custom inputs,” according to a press release caught by Variety.

Quavo further said: “Takeover is unlike anything you’ve seen before and will blow minds. This film brings a whole new vibe that’s about to change the game, and I’m really hyped to share it with my fans.” When he shared the teaser on Instagram, Ty Dolla Sign, 2 Chainz, and more celebrities voiced their support in the comments section.

Kodak Black Drops Chilling Trailer For His First Film As Executive Producer

Kodak Black has certainly kept busy in recent months, and now, he can add yet another exciting endeavor to his long list of feats. Earlier this week, the Florida-born rapper took to Instagram to share a trailer for the upcoming film Gone Missin, which he executive produced. The supernatural horror flick is directed by Vincent Escobar for KTB Media and does not yet have an official release date. It centers around a woman who visits a small town in search of a missing person. Of course, she ends up discovering far more than she bargained for.

While this is the first time Kodak’s worked as an executive producer on a film, it’s not the only time he’s dabbled in the world of cinema. Last year, he appeared in The Don, a short film in which he plays a crime boss. It coincided with the release of his album Pistolz & Pearlz, which was unveiled on the same day. Movies aren’t the only thing keeping Kodak occupied these days either. He’s also been on a recovery journey as of late, embracing his new mostly sober self and looking back on how far he’s come.

During an Instagram Live last month, for example, he revealed that he’s taken some steps in the right direction and can now go several days without using any substances. Eminem’s new album The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce) is right around the corner, yet the promo material for it hasn’t slowed down one bit. Moreover, he shared yet another trailer for the new project after already revealing its conceptual tracklist flow and imploring fans to listen to it in order. In it, Slim Shady (presumably) sits with his hands tied to a chair in the basement, watching a news report on how the Detroit rapper is trying to “cancel himself” with this new LP. In the video’s description, it makes reference to the “Real Slim Shady” bar about locking people up in basements, although in that classic track, the victim was Dr. Dre.

Furthermore, this rollout for The Death Of Slim Shady has roped in other pop culture happenings today, such as Eminem embracing the “Hawk Tuah!” meme while visiting his alter ego’s gravesite. It’s all a pretty campy and overt display of showmanship, but this is Marshall Mathers we’re talking about: is the cartoonish vibe really surprising you? Regardless, he’s certainly not slouching on the lyrical end, at least with his latest single “Tobey” featuring Big Sean and BabyTron. Whatever this new album has in store, there’s a good chance that its story will make all these extracurricular promotions make much more sense.

Eminem’s Latest The Death Of Slim Shady Teaser

As for previous trailers for this album, one of them showed Slim Shady rising from the dead, so maybe the persona’s “death” will be a little more complicated. After all, Eminem has “retired” and “come back” so many times now that it’s hard to tell when he really means to emulate his other half. Perhaps this record will instead reflect on whether or not this “death” is even possible, since an aspect of his contemporary output is that he doesn’t make that distinction as obvious as before. Still, there are a lot of possibilities and angles for Em to explore here.

While Eminem’s chart performance with the new singles wasn’t anything out of this world, we can expect the album to be an absolute smash. Some fans want that conceptual greatness that’s been teased, others want straight-up bars, and many just want something new from him. No matter what road the “Houdini” spitter chooses, it’ll be a fun one to travel alongside him. Eminem is currently gearing up to unleash his eagerly anticipated album The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce) this Friday. Today, he gave his fans a taste of what’s to come with a new trailer, complete with an unexpected reference to a viral meme. The trailer in question shows him spitting on the headstone of the “beloved antagonist” in the pouring rain. “‘It feels so empty without him,’” he captioned the post. “HAWK TUAH.”

Right before the trailer ends, Slim Shady’s muddied hand is seen shooting up from the grave. While it didn’t provide much insight as to what fans can expect from the album musically, it hints at themes of resurrection on top of death itself. In the recently released “Tobey” music video, for example, viewers got to see Eminem going at his iconic alter ego with a chainsaw. This new teaser suggests that he’ll certainly be making a comeback on the new album, and fans can’t wait.

The Death Of Slim Shady Drops July 12

The trailer follows the recent unveiling of the project’s cover art, which shows Slim Shady peaking out of a partially zipped body bag. It also arrives after Eminem unveiled the tracklist, only building additional anticipation. He left fans guessing when it comes to features, though a seemingly leaked tracklist that surfaced online last week suggests that there could be plenty. Apple Music is rumored to have shared the tracklist by accident while making the album available for pre-save, inadvertently unveiling appearances from J Cole, JID, Black Thought, Tech N9ne, Ez Mil, and more

Don Toliver Delivers High-Octane Trailer For His “Hardstone Psycho” x “Fortnite” Collab: Watch

Don Toliver is an artist who has proven to be one of the best in his lane. Overall, he has some great projects and some singles that have stayed in our rotations for months and years on end. With each new album, Toliver is constantly giving us new concepts. For instance, his new album Hardstone Psycho is supposed to bring forth the biker gang vibes. There are some hard rock elements to his latest singles, and we cannot wait to hear the finished product.

In fact, the album is going to be coming out on June 14th, which is next Friday. Before that, on June 10th, the world of Hardstone Psycho will be coming to Fortnite. We know this because of a new trailer that was put out earlier today. In the tweet below, you can see some gameplay footage which showcases a whole new map that was made just for the album. Furthermore, it appears as though some unique Hardstone Psycho skins will be made available to gamers. It’s a cool addition that Toliver fans will definitely appreciate.

Fortnite has been having a resurgence over the last year or so, with much of that stemming from the recent OG season. That said, Fortnite collaborations seem to be the move for a lot of new artists. Chief Keef Shares “Almighty So 2” Trailer Ahead Of Long-Awaited Release

Chief Keef has shared a trailer for his highly-anticipated new album, Almighty So 2, which appears to finally be dropping on Friday following several delays. In the video, the Chicago rapper approaches an altar while music seemingly from the album plays in the background. According to an Apple Music pre-save page, the project will include 17 songs and hit streaming platforms on Friday, May 10.

Fans on Reddit shared their excitement in response to the news. “I’m actually really hyped,” one user wrote. “I haven’t listened to chief keef in a loonnnggg time besides some of the classics here and there.” Another added: “This and the rumors of a Future mixtape dropping on the same day, is this 2024 or 2014 lol.” Future announced he’s dropping a mixtape on May 10th on Twitter, Tuesday night. “F*ck yo album Sh*t ain’t slappin like my MIXTAPE,” he wrote in part.

Almighty So 2 will feature collaborations with Quavo, Sexyy Red, Lil Gnar, G Herbo, and Tierra Whack. It’ll be the fourth time Keef has teamed up with Sexyy Red. Speaking with Billboard for an interview earlier this year, he said of their partnership: “I just know she f**k with me real heavy. I f**k with her, too. 21 Savage & Killer Mike Speak On Freaknik In Documentary Trailer: Watch

Freaknik’s sociocultural legacy in the Black community in the U.S. during the 1980s and 1990s was something you just had to be there for. Still, the legendary Atlanta street party’s legacy, cemented by spring breaks at historically Black colleges and universities, will live on forever. Moreover, a new Hulu documentary on the event titled Freaknik: The Wildest Party Never Told will hit your screens on March 21. Directed by P. Frank Williams, it will debut at SXSW soon, and features a star-studded cast of firsthand voices. These include rappers Killer Mike and 21 Savage, as well as entertainment industry moguls, Freaknik founders, historians, and much more.

In fact, other celebrities featured as talking heads include Rasheeda, Erick Sermon of EPMD, Jermaine Dupri, Cee Lo Green, Lil Jon… the list goes on. Uncle Luke, real name Luther Campbell, also appears, and he executive produced this Freaknik documentary alongside 21 Savage and Dupri. Actually, folks may remember that, not too long ago, Savage actually celebrated his birthday by replicating the historic gathering. As such, we’ve had plenty of subtle and overt examples of how this influence reached the next generation of Black youth.

“At its heart, Freaknik is a music documentary,” P. Frank Williams shared with Variety. “Luke is the soundtrack of Freaknik, [Dupri’s] So So Def label is directly correlated to Freaknik and 21 Savage is the new school. They’re fascinated with the wild stuff we did, the clothes and the music of that era. The legacy of Freaknik really started in ‘83, I don’t know if people realized that. It was about kids trying to find a place for Black joy. Freaknik wasn’t just about the party. Our goal was to show how it affected politics, culture, race, there was a lot with sexuality, gender.

“The turn up, the cars, sexuality, joy, the daisy dukes… that’s the candy of it,” he continued. “But there’s also some vegetables in it, which is the Black empowerment. Police brutality was part of it, Black cultural realization, young women realizing their sexuality, young men too. Freaknik is really a coming of age story about a generation who was trying to find a voice in a world that didn’t accept them. But this is a place they created for themselves.
