The holidays are upon us, and there’s no greater gift than the gift of music. This holiday season, you can give the Drake fan in your life all sorts of goodies and treats.

Uproxx has put together a nifty little guide for Drizzy fans, for those who simply can’t have too much of the prolific rapper. At the time of writing, no Black Friday deals have been announced, but fans can purchase some fun items just in time for jolly season (and some of the options below might just get price cuts as Black Friday approaches).

Dave’s-giving Party Pack from Dave’s Hot Chicken

Drake fans who wish to get the festivities started early with the Dave’s Hot Turkey Party Pack from Dave’s Hot Chicken — a chain in which Drake is an investor. The Dave’s-giving party pack comes with Winter Sports-Themed Bibs, a Floral Centerpiece Cutout featuring Dave’s heads as tulips, photobooth props, and much more. Guests of Southern California- and Detroit-area Dave’s stores can add this pack to orders of sliders, tenders, or fries for $10 more, or purchase for an additional $12. Granted, this merch isn’t directly related to Drake, but makes for a fun addition to Drake memorabilia.

Items are available in select stores only.

Tickets to Drake’s It’s All A Blur — The Big What? Tour

Drake and J. Cole will kick off 2024 with their North American It’s All A Blur — The Big What? Tour. While they won’t be hitting too many major cities, Drake does plan to touch on the cities he missed on the first go-around of the tour. This is ideal for Drake fans who also didn’t get to make the first iteration of It’s All A Blur.

Tickets are available for purchase here.

Drake and Kendra Samir’s Titles Ruin Everything poetry book

Drake and longtime collaborator Kendra Samir released a poetry book called Titles Ruin Everything, a collection of words and lines Drake previously described as a “stream of consciousness.” While Drake’s most recent music has prompted some mixed reactions, the poetry book makes for a lovely addition to one’s coffee table.

The book is available for purchase through Drake’s official merchandiser, Drake Related.

Drake’s Views hoodie and sweatpants

Keep it cozy with loungewear embedded with the logo from Drake’s 2016 album, Views — which many fans hail as the quintessential Drake project.

Items are available via Drake Related.

Drake’s Good Thoughts candle

Manifest positive energy into your home with the Good Thoughts candle. Crafted with orange and fir balsam and paired with rose and sandalwood provides a spiritual experience within the house.

Candles are available for purchase through Better World Fragrance House.

Drake’s Nike NOCTA Glides

Kick it like Drake in these stylish new NOCTA Glides, which he designed as a partnership with Nike. These may be a bit more pricey than some of the aforementioned items, but they’ll run you cheaper than some of the tickets for the It’s All A Blur shows. Granted, you may have to fight some Ticketmaster-esque crowds.

The Glides are available for purchase through NOCTA.

Drake Flexes Pink Manicure Ahead of ‘It’s All A Blur’ Tour Launch

Jim Jones Makes Drake Dipset’s Official Fifth Member

Drake will be giving new energy during his run on the It’s All a Blur Tour. Hitting Instagram, The Boy revealed nail art, specifically a pink manicure.

The Boy is ready for his tour. This week, the It’s All a Blur tour will launch in Chicago, and ahead of the run, Drizzy hit Instagram to share a video listening to Kanye West’s “Through the Wire.” Some will also note the FOR ALL THE DOGS crew neck he has on.

Drake’s new book is part of a rollout for a new album. Taking over The New York Times, NY Post, Toronto Star, Los Angeles Times, and more, The Boy promoted the book but delivered a QR Code. Complex notes the addition, which leads to the announcement of a new album, For All The Dogs.

“I made an album to go with the book… They say they miss the old Drake girl don’t tempt me,”Drake wrote. “For all the dogs.”

Drake hit Instagram to announce his first book is on the way. Ironically titled Titles Ruin Everything, the book is dubbed “a stream of consciousness” by Drake, introduced as Aubrey Graham, and Kenza Samir.

“I don’t know if I have ever wanted people to buy or support something more in my life…our first book is available tmrw on @drakerelated and other select retailers,” Drake captioned his post.

Drake Had An Unbothered Response To Learning Real Poets Weren’t Impressed By His Poetry Book

It turns out not everyone had as enthusiastic a response to Drake‘s book of poetry as DJ Khaled did (and even his was a little noncommital). After Complex got a few full-time poets to review the book, Drake learned that he wasn’t being taken quite as seriously as perhaps he’d hoped.

With a title like Titles Ruin Everything, you’d think he’s in on the joke, but as New York Times bestselling author Hanif Abdurraqib pointed out, it’s kind of hard to tell. “None of these strike me as poems, because they’re not even attempting to push against any unknown in order to offer something revelatory or at least somewhat beautiful,” he says in the piece.

“Some of these are so absurd that they’re actually funny,” he continues. “But it’s hard to tell if he also understands that they’re bending into absurdist humor, and understands that there will be people who find it profound. Or if he’s convinced himself of the profundity. Really, it’s kind of just a book of puns. Silly lil’ jokes. It is a struggle for me to tell how in on the joke he is… I’m not personally offended by anything that masquerades as poetry, because it happens so often in every possible arena of entertainment and consumption, but this is essentially a coffee table book of one-line jokes.”

Houston poet laureate Aris Kian echoed Hanif’s thoughts, musing, “Drake’s poems operate within an excess of white space, a reduced set of images and limited punctuation. The tools of tension, breath and play are only explored through the typical two-line set up/punchline format.”

Of course, if any of this ruffled Drake’s feathers, he seems reluctant to show it. In his Instagram Story, he posted a response of sorts with a meme calling the critics “Randomly angry poets” (despite, y’know, the author calling them to ask their opinions and neither seeming all that angry) and shrugging off their criticism. Of course, this could just be a case of Drake coping with receiving pushback on yet another of his creative endeavors — even if it is, as one of my colleagues put it in Slack, “not poetry, it’s merch.”

Drake Responds To Poetry Book Criticism While Paying Tribute To Canada’s Sex Educator Sue Johanson

The deeper into his career he gets, the less bothered Drake has become by the criticism of others. His Honestly, Nevermind album – which recently celebrated its first anniversary – left the music industry divided. Since then, we’ve primarily seen him focus on rapping, though he did also give us a taste of his skills as a poet too. After announcing his plans to release a book in 2022, the Canadian finally shared Titles Ruin Everything earlier this month, which he put together in tandem with Kenza Samir. While some hip-hop heads are loving the collectable piece, Complex reports that award-winning poets are less than pleased with what Drake has done.

“Some of these are so absurd that they’re actually funny,” New York Times best-selling author Hanif Abdurraqib said of the 168-page effort. “But it’s hard to tell if he also understands that they’re bending into absurdist humour, and understands that there will be people who find it profound. Or if he’s convinced himself of the profundity. Really, it’s kind of just a book of puns. Silly lil’ jokes.” Abdurraqib added that he’s having a hard time deciphering how “in on the joke” Drake is, though he wasn’t “personally offended” by any of the content in the book.”

Drake’s Titles Ruin Everything Arrives to Mixed Reactions

Upon hearing the public’s reaction to his work, the father of one turned to Instagram to share his thoughts. “Randomly angry poets: blahagaggagesvachjsksyavsvvehevehebwgabvqvqqvwww[.] Me:,” Drake wrote above a shrugging photo of the late Sue Johanson, who tragically passed away earlier this week. As HipHopDX notes, the Canadian icon previously appeared on several episodes of Degrassi, where Drizzy first got his start.

As reactions to Titles Ruin Everything continue to pour in, the 36-year-old has been focusing on his future too much to worry about the perception of others. In just a few days, he’ll be back on tour for the first time in several years, and along with his book Champagne Papi confirmed that he’s got another album on the way in the near future.

Drake Announces New Poetry Book, “Titles Ruin Everything”

Last year, Drake pleasantly surprised his fans with the unexpected release of a new project titled Honestly, Nevermind. Prior to that, he had debuted the first episode of his radio show, “Table For One.” During the show, the 35-year-old artist hinted at upcoming projects, not all of which are music-related. On the radio show, Drake revealed that he and Kenza Samir were set to release a poetry book later that year. He expressed excitement about the book and encouraged his listeners to look forward to it. An exact release date was not disclosed at the time. However, the announcement generated anticipation for the book’s arrival.

In the past year, Drake has remained extremely busy. He has released projects like Honestly, Nevermind and Her Loss. He also dropped a single titled “Search & Rescue.” However, despite these releases, some fans are eagerly anticipating a new album or at least another single from the Canadian superstar. Unfortunately, it seems that fans may have to wait a bit longer for that. Nevertheless, fans have a little something to look forward to in the meantime. Drake is finally dropping his poetry book.

Drake, AKA Aubrey Graham, The Poet

After a year of anticipation, the book titled Titles Ruin Everything is set to hit the shelves. Drake recently took to Instagram to share the news, expressing his excitement about the book’s release. He mentioned that the book will be available starting tomorrow on Drake Related, as well as select retailers. In his post, Drake conveyed his genuine enthusiasm, stating that he has never been more eager for people to buy or support something in his life. He referred to Titles Ruin Everything as their first book. This indicates the significance of this creative endeavor for both him and Kenza Samir.

Fans took to the comments to let their thoughts be known on the project. Many expressed excitement. “Do I like to read? Yes. Do I have any idea what this is? Nope. Will I read it? Yes!” said one fan. Another agreed, saying that they’ve been waiting for Drake to release a coffee table book of his Instagram captions. “There’s Shakespeare, then there’s Aubrey,” said another user. What do you think of Drake releasing a book of poetry? Will you read it? Let us know in the comments!
