Jeannie Mai Roasted For Clip From “The Real” Appearing To Fetishize Black Men

It’s safe to say that most people are taking Jeezy’s side in his recently announced divorce from Jeannie Mai Jenkins. This has only been furthered by the unearthing of a particularly salacious clip of Mai from The Real. “Love Black guys. But for me – dark meat on the side, white meat keeps me lean and mean,” Mai says in the fairly shocking clip. However, Mai then immediately tried to walk it back after being, rightfully called out for essentially saying she wants her “main man” to be white.

Many people online have called out this clip as Mai fetishizing Black men, especially as she refers to them as “dark” later in the clip. Furthermore, people have taken issue with how casually and blatantly Mai refers to it. Not only does she refer to men as “meat”, she also casually admits to enjoying having a Black man as a side piece to sate her attraction to Black men. While she ends the clip outraged that her co-hosts interpreted her comments that way, how else should they be interpreted?

Social Media Starts Siding With Jeezy

While the initial reaction to the divorce news was shock, most people are now taking the side of Jeezy. This is especially true in light of Mai’s uncovered comments. “She definitely did say that. And she meant just that. Now she got a black child. When will black men learn how powerful their seed is. I’m not against interracial marriages or pro creation but when this is said on national TV proudly amongst black women WHY on earth would you give this type of mindset a black child to raise !?,” one person lamented. “Whether she meant side piece or guilty pleasure, it’s all weird. Why do you have a fetish for black ppl? We’re human and that’s strange,” added another.

Additionally, many people took issue with the clip itself and the fallout from it. “As ya’ll can see two of the Black women on the show spoke up cause it was a blatantly offensive comment. The other two stayed quiet but they knew it too!,” one person noted. “And that’s why they fired our good sis Tamar 🙂 she was TOO real for THE REAL 💅🏾,” argued another. [WATCH] Fans Shocked As Loni Love Shades ‘The Real’

Former The Real co-host Loni Love shades her former bosses for never acknowledging her birthday.

The “Soul Plane” actress turned 51 on July 14, and her new co-host of “E! Daily Pop,” Justin Sylvester, and the day’s guest co-host, “Full House” actress Jodie Sweeten, surprised her with a trombone-and-trumpet “Happy Birthday” performance by The Potash Twins, as well as a sweet birthday message from former co-host Tamera Mowery.

I was on a show for 8 seasons and never got a birthday surprise .. I am humbled for this. Thank you to my @ENews fam

Loni Love fired back at a fan after the reality TV host claimed her former hosting job The Real never gave her a solo birthday surprise celebration.

Although Love showed appreciation for the sweet gesture from E!, fans couldn’t help but point out her shade directed at the Daytime Emmy-winning talk show.

One fan in particular uploaded a throwback clip from 2016 underneath Love’s tweet that showed Love being given a surprise birthday celebration with her July birthday twin Tamera. However Love stated the clip only validated her point.

She responded, “Like I said, eight seasons boo.. Never got one, that was a combo.. Oop.”

TheShadeRoom reposted Loni’s message onto their Instagram page, and fans didn’t understand the reasoning behind the dig.

“There was no need for the shade, seeming a little bitter.”

“Sooo why didn’t you say anything for 8 seasons?”

“So she also had an issue with the show but stood 10 toes down defending them when other people spoke out about the show?”

Do you think Loni Love has a point?

His music “I’m Good” was featured on the blockbuster Showtime Original series The Chi, and his most recent tune “Like Me” was featured on the hit television series Power Book II: GHOST; he is an influence for future generations. Remey is a musician that puts his whole heart and soul into his work. Allowing his most painful experiences to guide his songs and make it more accessible to his audience.

Rick Ross Calls Jay-Z His Dream ‘Verzuz’ Opponent: ‘Why Not?’

Despite already participating in a Verzuz opposite 2 Chainz last year, Rick Ross would love the chance to give the big homie his flowers on another. During an appearance on the daytime talk show The Real to promote his new album, Richer Than I Ever Been, Ross was asked which artist would be his favorite Verzuz opponent, to which he responded: “Jay-Z.”

“Why not?” he said. “To me, that’s what makes Verzuz special because it brings out the best in both parties. That’s a possibility, but I gotta give my flowers to the big homie. I got to. My homie gave me my first opportunity signing me to Def Jam Records, and he’s one-of-one.”

Unfortunately for Ross, it seems semi-unlikely that Jay would deign to participate in the hits battle series and certainly, the matchup that seems to be most cited on social media is the one with the most history behind it: Jay-Z vs. Nas. Still, that won’t stop fans from dreaming.

One of those fans turned out to be LA Reid, who recently caught flak for proposing a Verzuz between Beyonce and Mariah Carey. His suggestion was roundly criticized as being out-of-touch and lopsided, considering Mariah’s solo career began nearly a decade before Beyonce’s.
