Travis Scott Will Reportedly Be On Lil Uzi Vert’s “The Pink Tape”

Travis Scott is one of the biggest artists in the entire world right now, and fans are always excited to see what he is going to drop next. Of course, he is working on UTOPIA which has been teased into oblivion. However, he has not given an exact timeline for the release. Although some within his label said June, there is no guarantee that actually happens. Overall, this has been frustrating for a lot of Scott fans, although, he is working on the final touches, which is very encouraging news.

Recently, DJ Akademiks was on his live stream where he spoke at length about Lil Uzi Vert and their new album The Pink Tape. This new album is going to be dropping close to the end of the month, or at least that’s what they want you to believe. That said, Akademiks revealed that there will be some special features on the album. In fact, Travis Scott is going to be one of them. Overall, this was some unbelievable news for a lot of fans. However, it was backed up by producer BNYX who tweeted about his involvement in the song.

Needless to say, fans are going to be in for an absolute treat with this new project.

Lil Uzi Vert Stops “The Pink Tape” Leaks By Keeping Album On USB Chain

Lil Uzi Vert is taking extra precautions to prevent leaks of his upcoming album, The Pink Tape. During an Instagram Live session on June 8, Uzi treated fans to unreleased music and shared the album’s release timeframe. To protect the album from hackers, they showcased a unique chain featuring a flash drive instead of a pendant. The flash drive contains the highly sought-after files for their third album. Uzi expressed the significance of the chain, stating that it is more valuable than any of their other chains, and they wear it every day.

Sporting their signature vintage purple dreads, the Generation Now rapper reaffirmed that The Pink Tape will be released at the end of June, emphasizing that they cannot wait any longer. The rapper even said that if necessary, they would release the album themself. “The album is coming at the end of this month,” they revealed. “I can’t hold off no more. Like, you know me, I’m crazy. Even if I have to drop it myself, it’s coming out at the end of the month.” A keen-eyed fan in the comments section pointed out that June 23 is National Pink Day, which would align nicely with the release of Uzi’s new project.

DJ Drama Also Confirmed That Uzi Is Coming Soon

In April, DJ Drama confirmed that Lil Uzi Vert is very close to finishing The Pink Tape. During an appearance on the Justin Credible Podcast, Drama mentioned that the album was in its “final stages.” Uzi’s producer, Lyle, also informed fans on Instagram last month that they are taking their time with the project. According to the producer, they all want to ensure it becomes a “classic” rather than a collection of random songs. While that may be difficult to hear for those who are tired of waiting, it will benefit Uzi and their fans in the long run.

Lyle further revealed that Uzi has been recording about five songs per day. Reportedly, the quality of the tracks keeps improving as time goes on. Clearly, this extremely extensive recording process has contributed to the album’s delay. The producer noted that it is challenging to narrow down a selection from over 1,500 songs to create a cohesive album. However, it would appear that they have almost done just that. Are you excited for Lil Uzi’s new album? Sound off in the comments to let us know!

Lil Uzi Vert is an artist who fans are always watching out for. Overall, Uzi has some classic albums and mixtapes in their discography. Unfortunately, it has been quite a while since Uzi dropped something new. Sure, we got “Just Wanna Rock,” last year, however, aside from that, releases have been pretty slow. Although, it seems like the artist just wants to give us the best product possible with The Pink Tape. No one knows what this project is going to sound like, and even the release date remains up in the air.

Although, Lil Uzi Vert has been making strides to update their fans on the situation. For instance, we reported on a new snippet from yesterday. Lil Uzi Vert Is Dropping Soon

Unfortunately, Uzi has not actually confirmed the exact release date. All we know right now is that Lil Uzi Vert will likely be dropping the album within the month of June, at least we hope. Overall, this is going to be one of the biggest releases of the entire year. Furthermore, if Travis Scott decides to drop UTOPIA around the same time, we could end up with a truly amazing sales battle. However, both artists have been fairly tight-lipped about their respective situations.

Hopefully, Uzi gives us an official announcement sometime soon. Sure, these snippets are nice to listen to, however, we just want new music, as soon as humanly possible. It’s been three years since Eternal Atake, and Uzi fans are clamoring for that new stuff. Let us know what you think of this latest snippet, in the comments section down below. Initially, it was a challenging adjustment for them, but after about a month, they got used to it. Uzi explained that they had expected their creative process to be different without drugs, but it turned out to be even better. They found that they could think more clearly, their words were no longer slurred, and their music became more coherent. This allowed them to create songs with specific themes and avoid relying solely on improvisation or going with the flow of the beat.

Uzi Previews New Banger From “The Pink Tape”

Earlier today, a new snippet from an unreleased Lil Uzi Vert song surfaced online. It can be heard in the video above, which was posted on the Our Generation Music Instagram account. It is difficult to hear what is being said based on the quality of the audio. However, many still expressed their opinions in the comments, for better or worse. Some think the clip is fire. Others, however, seem to think that Uzi has fallen off.

“I could never get into dude music,” one commenter said. “Him or Carti shi just below mid.” Others shared a similar sentiment, pointing out that they think the quality of Lil Uzi’s music has gone down considerably. “Oof man’s fell off,” one user said. “Nah keep it,” another agreed. However, the comments weren’t all bad. Uzi has been teasing The Pink Tape since at least 2021, although their updates have gotten more frequent in recent months. Back in March, Uzi revealed to TMZ that they were sober for the recording of the project. “It was challenging at first. But then after probably after a month, I got used to it,” Uzi said. “I thought that my creative process wasn’t going to be the same because I wasn’t on drugs no more. It was the same. Even better. Because I could think more clear and I could actually, like, instead of my words slurring, which is kinda of cool, everything made sense. I didn’t just make random music. How can I say? I didn’t play off the beat. I actually made song with topics this time.”

Lil Uzi Vert Teases “The Pink Tape”

Uzi’s longtime collaborator, Don Cannon, recently revealed that the rapper’s recorded over 600 songs for The Pink Tape. “Ain’t nothing changed so he one of them guys. And it’s different because we’re getting all kinds of songs out of him. Might get a rock song, a real rap song, because he really rap. Might get the melodic shit that he do. That’s a fun thing,” Cannon explained on Math Hoffa’s My Expert Opinion podcast.

Lil Uzi Vert Has Recorded Over 1,500 Songs For The Long-Awaited ‘The Pink Tape,’ According To Their Producer

We finally have an update on Lil Uzi Vert‘s borderline-mythical The Pink Tape. According to one of Uzi’s collaborators, it seems as though we may have to wait just a little bit longer.

Yesterday (May 30), fans on Instagram demanded an answer from Uzi’s producer, Lyle.

One fan questioned the quality of the songs, but Lyle Leduff immediately shut it down.

“songs are great,” Leduff said. “But they wanna make sure it’s right and not rush it. We all know y’all ready for it but we wanna make sure it’s a classic and not just a bunch of random songs.”

Lyle responded to another fan, assuring that The Pink Tape, and Uzi’s new music in general, will be worth the wait. He revealed that Uzi has been going hard in the studio and improving his craft day by day. There’s no telling as to when the tape may see the light of day, but it seems like Uzi is gearing up to drop their magnum opus.

“[Uzi] records 5 [songs] a day for the most part,” said Lyle. “Bruh still gets better and better. Its hard to scale down 1500+ songs to an album.”

DJ Drama Reflects On Watching Lil Uzi Vert Get Sober

DJ Drama says that watching Lil Uzi Vert get sober ahead of the release of The Pink Tape was an “eye-opening” experience. The producer discussed Uzi’s drug use during a new interview with XXL for the publication’s Spring 2023 issue.

“We did have some conversations about that. Me, [Don] Cannon, Lake, and Vert, about that personal journey,” he explained to the outlet. “Obviously, it’s not something outta respect for him I would want to share the insight on how he feels or what it was like for him, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s something that he touches on on the project.”

Drama added: “I’m super proud of him and I’m sure that for him, being able to approach the music from that aspect was eye-opening and something different, something that a mature Uzi, who’s at a different stage in his life and his career, is able to accomplish.”

Uzi first revealed their sobriety during an interview with TMZ back in March. “It was challenging at first. But then after probably after a month, I got used to it,” Uzi explained at the time. “I thought that my creative process wasn’t going to be the same because I wasn’t on drugs no more. It was the same. Even better. Because I could think more clear and I could actually, like, instead of my words slurring, which is kinda cool, everything made sense.” “I didn’t just make random music,” he continued. “How can I say? I didn’t play off the beat. I actually made [a] song with topics this time.”

There is still no official release date for The Pink Tape; however, Uzi has been teasing it since the end of 2020. It will be his first full-length project since Eternal Atake. He also dropped an EP, Red & White, last year.

Lil Uzi Vert Teases “The Pink Tape” World Tour

Lil Uzi Vert is apparently going on a world tour in support of their upcoming album The Pink Tape soon, or at least that’s what recently surfaced pictures on social media indicate. Moreover, this comes after they reportedly announced a North American tour back in October of last year, although such plans fell through. Still, the “Myron” hitmaker captivated audiences all over through festival slots, public event performances, and more within the last two years. With their infectious stage presence in mind, a world tour would surely bring Uzi a lot of acclaim and commercial success. However, only time will tell, as these teases haven’t come attached with dates yet.

Furthermore, the whole reason behind this new speculation regards pictures posted online of Lil Uzi Vert wearing tour merch. To elaborate, Twitter recently went ablaze over Uzi rocking a “Pink Tape World Tour” shirt design, hinting at what was to come. Hopefully, this refers to a significant expansion of their planned North American trek. Given the superstar’s visibility and popularity at the moment, it would surprise no one if they’re able to sell thousands of tickets overseas. What’s more is that The Pink Tape, according to DJ Drama, is coming very soon.

Is Lil Uzi Vert Going On A World Tour Soon?

“It’s on the way,” Drama told Justin Credible on his podcast. “The Pink Tape– him and Cannon have been super hard at work. They’re in the process of pretty much finalizing the final sequencing and tracklisting of the project but it’s pretty much done. You’ll be surprised. You’re gonna get some of [Just Wanna Rock] as well as some other pockets.” Moreover, said news is also exciting because this would be Lil Uzi vert’s first headlining tour since they and G-Eazy embarked on “The Endless Summer” tour back in 2018.

Meanwhile, producer Don Cannon recently highlighted the Philly icon’s prolific and hard-working mentality in the studio. “We working on the album and he got 680 songs [from the last] 18 months,” he expressed. “I call him the Kobe Bryant when he was saying he used to shoot jump shots after the game. That’s what he doing. He give you a hit and do five songs a day. Nobody believe me. I bring them to the studio to see.” Let us know what you’re most excited about concerning The Pink Tape‘s rollout in the comments. Also, stick around on HNHH for the latest news and updates surrounding Lil Uzi Vert.

Lil Uzi Vert Is “Finalizing” “The Pink Tape,” DJ Drama Claims

One of the most anticipated projects of this year will apparently see the light of day sooner rather than later. Moreover, DJ Drama recently revealed that Lil Uzi Vert is adding the final touches to their highly anticipated album, The Pink Tape. From what the Philly icon revealed to Justin Credible on the latter’s podcast, there are very little steps left before the tape is ready to hit digital shelves. Furthermore, fans have been waiting for The Pink Tape since Uzi teased it shortly after Eternal Atake and Lil Uzi Vert Vs. The World 2 dropped. While they’ve held fans over since then with singles and the RED & WHITE EP, there’s nothing quite like a full-length project of Uzi material.

“[Lil Uzi Vert] and [Don] Cannon have been hard at work,” DJ Drama remarked to the radio host. “They’re just in the process of finalizing the final sequencing and tracklisting of the project.” This means they likely finished all its tracks by this point, which is very exciting for fans. However, fans also wonder whether we’ll hear a different style from the 27-year-old given other changes in the recording process.

DJ Drama Says Lil Uzi Vert Almost Finished The Pink Tape

The first (and most commendable) is Lil Uzi Vert’s sobriety throughout their creative process. “I thought that my creative process wasn’t gonna be the same because I wasn’t on drugs no more,” they remarked to TMZ. “It made sense. It wasn’t like I just made random music. I didn’t just play off the beat. I actually made songs with topics this time. It can change your life.” Considering that their massive hit “Just Wanna Rock” employs more Jersey club-inspired rhythms, maybe we’ll hear Baby Pluto engage with more different sounds on The Pink Tape.

Meanwhile, Uzi stans also hope that The Pink Tape will contain their reunion with Playboi Carti, which they teased at Rolling Loud and with an Instagram Story post. At the festival, one of the lines in unreleased material he played shouts the Whole Lotta Red rapper out and says that’s where his heart is, despite not talking often. “Me and my luv about to take over the world,” the Philly rapper wrote on their IG Story, tagging Carti in the pic. On that note, what are you most excited for on The Pink Tape? Let us know in the comments below and come back to HNHH for the latest on DJ Drama and Lil Uzi Vert.

Lil Uzi Vert Is ‘Finalizing’ His Long-Awaited Album ‘The Pink Tape,’ According To DJ Drama

Lil Uzi Vert is “finalizing” his long-awaited album The Pink Tape, according to Generation Now founder DJ Drama. During an interview with LA radio Justin Credible on the latter’s podcast, Drama noted that “[Uzi] and [Don] Cannon have been hard at work” on the highly anticipated project, revealing, “They’re just in the process of finalizing the final sequencing and tracklisting of the project.”

Uzi first began teasing the prospect of The Pink Tape shortly after releasing Eternal Atake and its followup, Lil Uzi Vert Vs. The World 2, in 2021. However, Uzi quickly announced that the album would be delayed to ensure that it didn’t “suck,” and instead released an EP, Red & White, to hold fans over until the album was completed. During Uzi’s set at Rolling Loud in Los Angeles last month, Uzi said that the wait for new music wouldn’t be as long as the wait for Eternal Atake, so at least we know The Pink Tape should be along sometime before 2026.

In the meantime, Uzi has been squeezing all the juice out of the Jersey club hit, “Just Wanna Rock,” performing it everywhere from the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards to Wrestlemania. Check out the full Justin Credible interview below.
