Kevin Gates’ Only The Generals tour with BigXThaPlug is hitting a city near you starting October 16, and Gates is getting physically prepped for it. Moreover, during a recent conversation with TMZ, he thanked Kevin Durant, DeMar DeRozan, and Chris “Lethal Shooter” Matthews as his favorite players to play with apart from his time in The Crew League. Not only that, but the Louisiana native remarked that these NBA stars gave him some tips and tricks when it comes to getting in shape. In addition, he’s been adding to that bulk with a personal trainer. As such, it seems like the Baton Rouge MC wants his body to be at peak capacity for every single show.

“I workout, I do a lot of stability training, a lot of hip mobility,” Kevin Gates told the outlet. “Gotta do a lot of yoga, I do weights. I do squats. They got this person, my personal trainer be tryin’ to kill me. Be making me do these deep squats with kettlebells. Key Glock has caused further embarrassment for Doe Boy after leaving him with a sprained ankle. This comes following an impressive crossover move on the basketball court. The incident occurred during a game between their respective teams in Season 5 of The Crew League. A viral clip of the moment was uploaded to Twitter. The video captured Doe Boy falling to the floor. The move by Key Glock seemed impressive for a moment. Unfortunately, his subsequent shot missed the mark by a significant margin. Sadly, Doe Boy was the one who had to pay the price.

Overtime’s Twitter account mocked Key Glock’s missed shot while highlighting Doe Boy’s fall. This, of course, prompted a response from the injured rapper. The rapper sent Glock a photo of his swollen and bruised ankle. He expressed the pain he was experiencing and said that his ankle was sprained. In response, Glock shared their text exchange on Twitter. He was seemingly proud of the damage caused by his crossover move. The outcome of the game remains unknown as the results will be revealed when the season premieres on REVOLT later in June.

Using her lyrics and her persona as an excuse to physically touch her and force her without consent is absolutely disgusting. What happened to ‘protect Black women’??? I cried watching that video and I’m sure a lot of women have as well.” Rose later added: “I’m sorry you had to go through that. My heart breaks for you.”

Recently, a clip went viral of the rapper forcibly kissing fellow MC Sukihana, which brought about condemnations of sexual assault. Moreover, it’s worth noting that as of writing this article, it appears as though neither artist has addressed or responded to this video. Furthermore, the incident occurred as she commentated on a Crew League basketball tournament game in Atlanta alongside Lil Duval, Funny Marco, and Buster Sher. Viewer discretion is advised for description and the video itself, as many have pointed out how uncomfortable it is.

First, YK Osiris approaches Sukihana and starts to massage her shoulders as she reacts incredulously. Then, he pulls her head back and tries to kiss her as you can hear her yelling at him to stop. Duval and the other commentators begin to laugh with surprise, with him seemingly daring Osiris to “tongue kiss her.” When he’s done trying as Sukihana continues to yell and turn herself away, Osiris walks away laughing hysterically to a friend, dapping him up.

While there’s obviously a lot of context here that viewers don’t know, this is a pretty clear cut video of things going too far. Even if things weren’t perceived as being that serious by Sukihana herself, YK Osiris got due criticism online for his behavior. “I hope ykosiris get the absolute worst a** whooping of his life and charges pressed against him,” a user tweeted. “Such a disgusting MF truly.” Another took more aim at Duval and company for their lack of action. “One is openly sexually assaulting her. The two sitting beside are looking stuck instead of checking YK Osiris creepy rapist a**. And the n***as in the background just watching. I hate y’all for this.”

Previously in 2021, the rapper dodged an aggravated assault case. In it, he stood accused of assaulting, strangling, choking, and biting his girlfriend in September of 2019. In a new clip, Offset is seen practicing his jump shots at The Crew League’s recent basketball game. Upon seeing the video, some fans were less than impressed with the rapper’s basketball skills. Many are suggesting that he stick what they say he does best, music. He even took to the comments section to apologize for his lackluster performance. “Not a baller guys sorry,” he writes alongside a laughing emoji.

Aside from working on his basketball moves, Offset has also been working on his upcoming album. Last month, he revealed to Variety that the album will feature a track with his late Migos collaborator, Takeoff. He recently got a tattoo of Takeoff on his back, in memory of the rapper who was shot and killed in 2022. “It’s my favorite picture of him,” he said about the tribute, “I like it because he had his glasses off.” He also opened up about his relationship with Cardi B, revealing that the rapper inspired him to lay off of drugs. “I put down lean. I was drinking my whole career,” he shared. “It opened my mind up, but I never thought it helped me create. I feel like getting past that, cleaning up, and putting that message out.”

Offset’s upcoming album is also set to feature his wife Cardi B, as well as Travis Scott, Future, Latto, and Chloe Bailey. No release date for the LP has been confirmed yet, however, he tells fans that they can expect to hear it sometime this summer.
