Lil Uzi Vert Hints At Imminent “Barter 16” Release Date

Earlier this year Lil Uzi Vert dropped one of the biggest rap albums of the year so far with Pink Tape. Since the moment the project dropped though, Uzi has been teasing at what they’ve got coming next. Eventually that took the form or Barter 16 an album inspired by Young Thug’s Barter series. Promotion for the project has been disjointed but undeniably fun. Uzi first started showing up to various places dressed up like Thugger, before sharing pics from the studio with one of Thug’s collaborators Birdman and announcing that the project would be executive produced by London On Da Track.

Now the newest news on Barter 16 is breaking and it seems like the record could be arriving soon. New texts from Uzi started emerging last night and continued into today. In the texts, Uzi tells various other artists and collaborators that the project is dropping this week. One message to G 5aby says “we droppin next week get that verse in 5.” Another to lil1dte says “put it on yo mother b16 next week” and a third text simply reads “ima drop it.” Rap fans have become accustomed to chaotic album rollouts and Uzi seems to be surprising even their friends with Barter 16‘s release.

Lil Uzi Vert Might Drop “Barter 16” This Week

Fans excited about new Lil Uzi music have had plenty to pour through recently. On top of their entire new album, they’ve also made some appearances as a featured artist. Over the weekend they teamed up with Future, Lil Baby, and DJ Khaled for a new song called “Supposed To Be Loved.” The track is expected to serve as the lead single for DJ Khaled’s new album TIL NEXT TIME which drops later this year.

Uzi also recently shared a video of themselves in the studio with rapper Luh Tyler recording a second collaboration. The young artist has had a breakthrough 2023 that’s seen him wrapping up co-signs from numerous big stars, Uzi included. Do you think Barter 16 is coming out this week? Sarah Brady Accuses Jonah Hill Of “Emotionally Abusive” Behavior & Shares Their Texts

Jonah Hill’s ex Sarah Brady shared screenshots of several of their texts to one another on social media over the weekend, alleging that the actor was “emotionally abusive” during their relationship. The two went public as partners in 2021.

“This is a warning to all girls. If your partner is talking to you like this, make an exit plan. Call me if you need an ear,” Brady captioned the screenshots. In the posts, Hill asked her to take down any photos from Instagram of her surfing with her “ass in a thong.” From there, Hill labeled it a “good start” while adding, “But it’s not my place to teach you. I’ve made my boundaries clear. You refuse to let go of some of them and you’ve made that clear and I hope it makes you happy.”

Hill also threatened to break up with her if she wants to surf “with men,” “to model,” “to post pictures of yourself in a bathing suit” and “to post sexual pictures.”

“I too struggle with mental health but I do not use it to control [people] like he did to me,” Brady wrote in a follow-up post. “It’s been a year of healing and growth with the help of loved ones and doctors to get back to living my life without guilt, shame and self-judgment for things as small as surfing in a swimsuit rather than a more conservative wetsuit. And I’m sure there’s still much more healing from this abuse ahead of me.”

In one of her last posts on the matter, Brady wrote that being an “emotionally abusive partner doesn’t mean they’re a terrible person” and said that it often stems from someone’s own trauma.” Despite this, she clarified that she doesn’t mean to excuse the behavior.

SZA Recalls Texts From Her Ex’s Father: “My Son Is Really Hurt”

According to SZA, after revealing to an audience that her ex blocked her, his father lit up her phone to share his thoughts. She told Elle during a recent interview, “My ex’s father just texted me and was like, ‘My son is really hurt about what you said about him to the crowd.’” The artist went on to explain, “You don’t get to block me on everything. Tell our mutual friends terrible things about me like I’m a monster, or whatever the case may be. And then I don’t get to speak my piece in my way. You go do your healing and I’ll do mine.”

“He’s not here ’cause I’m blocked on everything,” she said during the Portland, OR “SOS tour” stop. Before performing “Nobody Gets Me,” she stated, “This one is extra sad.” She revealed that she “did write [‘Nobody Gets Me’] about the person that lives here.” She went on to say, “F***. Being blocked on everything is so f***ing hard.” A clip of her statements was later shared by a fan on TikTok.

In the interview, SZA went on to reveal that her career is centered around “proving points to [herself].” She explained, “that’s what all this is about, really. I do music to prove that I have value to myself. Because what else am I going to do, in terms of how I help people? Me being whoever I’m led to be on this journey must be part of the work ‘cause it’s really hard emotionally….My prayer is to see myself the way God sees me. Like, ‘Father, help me know my value and trust that I’m valuable, and that I am who You say I am.’”

SZA announced her “SOS tour” in December of last year, revealing a slew a dates across the U.S. Last month, she added more dates to the tour, including performances in Europe and various additional stops in the U.S.

Jonathan Majors: New Texts Allegedly Show Victim Admitting Fault

The arrest of Jonathan Majors for alleged assault against his girlfriend took the pop culture world by storm earlier this week. As many brought up past allegations of the actor’s behavior, and as he was released swiftly from prison, many debated as to what to believe and what these speculations could mean. However, most recently, Majors’ lawyer came forward with some text messages that apparently show the alleged victim admitting fault. Moreover, Priya Chaudhry told TMZ that the woman sent texts to Majors hours after his arrest in New York City.

The reported messages indicate that the victim was assured no charges would be pressed as a result of their fight and his subsequent arrest. Also, she said that it was her fault for trying to grab his phone, and that she recently left the hospital. In addition, she asked the actor to update her once he got out of police custody. In a separate message, she said that authorities reached out to her again and that she maintained she doesn’t want prosecution or assessment of this as an attack.

Jonathan Majors’ Alleged Victim Reportedly Takes Blame

Not only that, but from what the leaked texts indicate, she pushed back on various outlets claiming strangulation in the incident. Apparently a judge was assigned to the case, and the alleged victim is making sure they receive the right information. Said information is that the origin of the call that Majors got arrested for was that his girlfriend passed out and that he was worried as a partner. Specifically, she said that the “Creed III” star has a great legal team and shouldn’t worry, but that she’s doing all she can on her end to set the record straight in addition.

According to Chaudhry, Majors’ legal team is working hard to compile all sorts of evidence, like video and messages like these, to prove his innocence. These texts, for example, were turned over to law enforcement, she claimed. However, the 33-year-old was still charged with numerous counts of assault, attempted assault, aggravated harassment, and harassment in the second degree. Along with those charges, some pointed to other testimonies of people who knew Majors who also claimed concerning violent behavior. With all that said, this case should be taken with a grain of salt, as there is too much speculation and not enough court judgements or evidence to know what truly happened. Furthermore, it was also compelling to see JT offer a glimpse into their relationship, sharing a screenshot of text messages between the two. From the steamy pictures and videos that Yung Miami shared, it seems like that night out was quite the event for her. Also, she recently received praise for not just moving with confidence, but responding to critics with her head held high. After many clowned her for her BMF performance, Method Man was one of many to defend her and offer words of support.
