Diddy Makes A Decision On Testifying In Court

Diddy’s lawyer Marc Agnifilo chose to participate in TMZ‘s upcoming documentary The Downfall Of Diddy: The Indictment, for which he issued some key and important updates on his legal case and strategy. Moreover, he revealed whether or not his client plans to testify in federal court. For those unaware, Sean Combs faces sex trafficking and racketeering charges following a whirlwind of other lawsuits and allegations against him, most of which remain unsolved. According to Agnifilo, he is “eager” to defend himself in court and tell his side of the story. This is despite the possibility for cross-examination over leaked surveillance footage of the Bad Boy mogul assaulting Cassie in a hotel room.

“I don’t know that I could keep him off the stand,” Diddy’s attorney reportedly told the outlet. “I think he is very eager to tell his story and I think he will tell every part of his story, including what you see on the video. So I expect it’s going to be explained by the both of us.” Marc Agnifilo also referred to other things he could potentially explain or dismiss, such as questions about his alleged “freak-offs” and allegedly blowing up Kid Cudi’s car.

This documentary will air on Thursday night (September 26) via Tubi according to promotional material. In addition, this decision comes as another sexual assault lawsuit recently hit the New York businessman and his bodyguard for their alleged crimes.

Meanwhile, other celebrities like Suge Knight have speculated on who else knew about all this in the famous world. “Facts is there,” he shared on News Nation with host Chris Cuomo. “Where we’re at now, I don’t care if it’s T.I., I don’t care if it’s Rick Ross, I don’t care if it’s Jay. Lil Woody Claims Prosecutors Almost Got On Their Knees To Get Him To Testify

Lil Woody says that prosecutors were ready to get on their knees in an effort to beg him to testify. He made the comments in jail calls that were played for the jury in court on Wednesday as Woody continues to testify in the ongoing YSL RICO case. When Young Thug’s attorney Brian Steel asked who specifically he was referring to, Woody remarked, “Ms. Love.” He appeared to be referencing Assistant Chief District Attorney Adriane Love. A clip of the moment is going viral on social media.

“I just wonder who is going to play Steel in the movie,” one fan on X (formerly Twitter) wrote in response. Another added: “Wait them grabbing him when he posta be in court ain’t that messing with his due process??” One more defended Woody: “This is fabulous, but I’m worried about Woody being targeted in a big way by Love at this point. You know she’s plotting.”

The viral moment comes after Woody recently admitted to having lied about Thug back in 2015. “The police kept locking me up for whatever they could,” he said. “Every time I counted the door, the police was on me, and they keep bringing up Thug’s name. So what I did was to get ’em out off me, I said, ‘Thug did this. Thug did that. Thug,’ because I knew they were—I knew he didn’t do it.”

Roger Bonds Affirms That He Would Testify Against Diddy If The Court Summons Him

Diddy’s situation seemingly grows worse by the day, and new remarks from Roger Bonds indicate that he could contribute to his process of accountability if his accused crimes of sexual assault, abuse, and sex trafficking are all true. Moreover, Sean Combs’ former bodyguard spoke to DJ Vlad on VladTV about how he would testify against the Bad Boy mogul if the court subpoenas him. Vlad clarified that cooperation isn’t mandatory, but Bonds feels morally obliged to stand up against injustice and in defense of the women that his former employer has allegedly and, in the case of Cassie, definitely mistreated.

Furthermore, Roger Bonds expressed that he doesn’t care about folks calling him a “snitch” because his priorities now favor his family’s well-being and that of others instead of street codes. Vlad gave him his due respect for his efforts and principles, and he emphasized the crucial need to promote change against abhorrent and criminal behaviors and systems. In addition, Bonds had previously spoken about reaching out to one of Kim Porter’s friends about Diddy after her death. While he has his doubts, he believes that Combs truly loved her despite his alleged conflicts with her in their relationship.

Foxy Brown Could Play Major Role In Keefe D’s Murder Trial For The Alleged Killing Of 2Pac

Foxy Brown could play a major role in the upcoming trial against Keefe D in the 1996 killing of legendary rapper 2Pac, according to an insider for The U.S. Sun. Keefe D previously claimed in his memoir, Compton Street Legend, that Brown was present during a meeting with the late New York City socialite Eric “Zip” Martin, who he claims provided Orlando Anderson with a gun. Anderson has long been suspected of pulling the trigger in the killing. Keefe D has since changed his tune about the story, claiming it all the be a lie.

“There are secret and delicate conversations going on about Foxy being a witness at the trial,” an insider said. “She could prove vital in taking the stand or even making a statement about her recollection of being around the men, who claim they were in her company for a short while before they set off to murder 2Pac. Obviously, central to her involvement to the trial will be whether she has any recollection of Keefe. The prosecutors know that having independent and credible verification of Keefe being in Vegas would be a major benefit to their case. And it would destroy Keefe’s defense of ‘there’s no evidence I was even there,’ which has been presented by his lawyer in recent weeks.”

From there, the insider explained that Brown still has many “delicate factors” to consider before agreeing to take the stand. “Being in this trial would bring a lot of eyes to her and not necessarily present her in the right light,” they said. “Secondly, the characters she was socializing with back then had varied backgrounds and lifestyles. Another factor would be taking the stand means facing cross-examination, which could put her on record being asked about matters in her life which may be fresh or potentially shocking. Some people may forget that Foxy has a criminal past too, being convicted for assaulting two nail stylists in 2006. These interactions with Foxy are being kept secret between just a couple of the district attorneys and team members. Nothing is confirmed about what, if any, evidence she will provide.”

YSL Lil Woody To Give Forced Testimony In Young Thug Trial

The Young Thug and YSL trial is moving along at quite the slow pace, but little by little, more pieces are falling into place. Moreover, YSL Lil Woody recently spoke to Judge Ural Glanville in the courtroom, and the judge told him that the court granted him immunity and thus expects him to testify. If Woody doesn’t testify, then Glanville clarified that he would hold him in contempt and subject him to jail time, and by the end of the exchange, Woody seemingly agreed to testify. It’s also important to note that he was explicitly informed that prosecutors could not use his testimony against him.

Furthermore, this is far from the only controversy surrounding cooperation that YSL Lil Woody has faced concerning the Young Thug and YSL trial. In fact, he even has something relating to the collective’s feud with YFN Lucci and that crew, as a video leaked last year of an interrogation that investigators conducted with Woody. This even led to a mistrial request, but that didn’t lead to much other than folks debating and discussing this development. Since then, his name didn’t come up much in court proceedings, but we’ll see whether this testimony is any different.

Meanwhile, this comes amid a strangely light time in the Young Thug and YSL trial, at least when it comes to the headlines and narratives currently surrounding it. For example, the courtroom couldn’t help but break out in laughter as a witness called Thugger’s “Lifestyle” with Rich Homie Quan and others a “banger.” Out of everything said during this harrowing and frustratingly long legal process, that might be the most true thing to come out of a participant’s mouth. Jokes aside, it’s at least been heartening to see Jeffery and others balance out the hardship with a smile, hard work, appreciative messages, or other shows of perseverance.

Still, folks continue to advocate for Young Thug and YSL’s freedom on their behalf, a possibility we seem no closer to witnessing. No matter what happens next in this court case, it’s clear that there will be a lot of left-over conversation surrounding cooperation and testimonies. Artificial Intelligence is one of the hottest issues right now not just in music, but in all creative mediums. Last month, dozens of artists across the music industry signed a joint letter calling for AI to be regulated. Artists are worried about the likeness being stolen by Ai platforms and recreated without their permission. There’s already been a couple of high-profile incidents surrounding artificial intelligence. Last year, an artificially generated Drake and The Weeknd song was ruled eligible for the Grammys. The decision was immediately controversial and led to them overturning it a week later. Earlier this week, there was a hearing in congress to discuss potentially regulating Artificial Intelligence going forward. R&B darling FKA Twigs was present at the hearing where she testified in favor of regulating the inevitable future of AI.

Afterward she took to Instagram to make a post about the experience. “today i spoke infront of congress to senator coons, tillis, blackburn, hirono, klobuchar, welch and blumenthal about the importance of legislation to protect artists voice and likeness, art and intellectual property from the misuse of deepfakes and ai. i am passionate about exploring new technologies with the guise of expanding my art further and exploring new ways to express myself and reach fans, however it is imperative that at this dawn of great technological growth legislation is put in place to ensure that an artists likeness is controlled by the artist themselves” her caption read. Lil Wayne Might Have To Testify In Young Thug’s YSL RICO Trial

Judge Ural Glanville denied Fulton County prosecutors’ attempt to introduce clips of Lil Wayne talking about Young Thug as evidence in the YSL RICO trial on Wednesday, explaining that they won’t be allowed unless the rapper testifies. The state previously removed Wayne from its lengthy witness list, last month.

Chief Deputy District Attorney Adriane Love argued the video show an argument Wayne had with Thug before a 2015 shooting involving his tour bus. “It seems like you all are trying really hard not to call [Lil Wayne] and that’s your choice,” Glanville told Love, as noted by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s Jozsef Papp. “If you don’t call him, my ruling will stand on these particular exhibits that you are trying to introduce.”

Wayne isn’t the only rapper the state has considered having testify during the trial. During the last update to the witness list, Birdman, Rich Homie Quan, and YFN Lucci all still remained as possible witnesses the state could call to the courthouse. Gunna is one artist who fans suspected the state would call after he took a plea deal in 2022, but he’s been adamant that he won’t speak against his YSL partner in the case. “While I have agreed to always be truthful, I want to make it perfectly clear that I have NOT made any statements, have NOT been interviewed, have NOT cooperated, have NOT agreed to testify or be a witness for or against any party in the case and have absolutely NO intention of being involved in the trial process in any way,” he said at the time of his prison release.

Diddy Raid: Ex-Motown CEO Confirms She Won’t Testify Against The Rap Mogul

Across the past few months, Diddy has faced numerous lawsuits from various accusers claiming decades of bad behavior. It all came to a head last week when the feds raided two of his properties in Miami and Los Angeles. They confirmed that it was part of an investigation into sex trafficking allegations against the rap mogul. In the week since, many of the people who have been involved in the allegations have spoken out.

The newest is the former Motown Records CEO Ethiopia Habtemariam. She was named in one particular lawsuit filed by producer Lil Rod back in February. She was accused of being aware that alcoholic beverages at parties hosted by Diddy were spiked with various illegal substances. Since then she’s been dropped from the case and took the chance to clarify the reason. “Mr. Blackburn has falsely represented to various social media sites and other media outlets that I agreed to ‘testify against’ Mr. Combs. This is completely untrue. I have no personal knowledge of any alleged wrongdoing by Mr. Combs and there is nothing I could testify to that would be against his interest,” she said to AllHipHop.

There’s already been news leaking out from the police raid over the last week. Reports claim that multiple guns were found during the home search. Other reports claim that the feds were specifically searching for electronics during the raid and grabbed any phones or computers they could find. One of Diddy’s associates was arrested after his plane was intercepted in Miami the same day as the raids.

But it seems that it will take more and more witnesses coming forward to place the mogul in court. Gene Deal, a former bodyguard for Diddy, can be added to the list of people willing to testify.

According to AllHipHop, Deal expressed his feelings about everything surrounding the rapper and businessman in an interview with The Art Of Dialogue. People have been reaching out to Gene in every way, saying that he is trying to purposefully drag Diddy’s name through the mud. However, he feels he has more than enough proof to make a compelling case. “I get all kinds of hate mail, IG’s, talking about that I am trying to take a Black man down. No, I went through every step you are supposed to go through when you got an issue with a man,” Gene explained.

“By him doing the things he did, and taking the avenue he took, he’s suffering the consequences, and I don’t feel bad at all.” Gene also feels that when “Money, Power & Respect” by The LOX, DMX, and Lil’ Kim came out, he thinks Diddy had that message of the song “a** backwards.” “You got your respect in the street, that gave you your power, that brought you your money… Do I care what happens? Got enough money to buy his way out of it… so we think.” He even believes that the rapper could commit su*cide in prison because he is a “narcissist.”

DJ Envy Might Testify Against Cesar Pina In Real Estate Fraud Case: Report

New reports from AllHipHop indicate that DJ Envy might testify against his former business partner Cesar Pina if a judge calls for it in their real estate fraud case. For those unaware, both men face various accusations of wrongdoing for their business practices, allegedly defrauding investors out of millions of dollars. Moreover, back in December, the court ordered the media personality to provide documentation about Pina’s bankruptcy filing and their transactions around this time, as they allegedly had a very close relationship. Despite this suspicion, Envy’s legal team stated that they handed over all requested info, and that he will testify if so required by the legal process.

“We are aware that on December 20, 2023, the Court issued an Order compelling the production of documents demanded in those subpoenas,” DJ Envy’s attorney Daniel Marchese expressed in court documents reportedly obtained by AllHipHop. “At this time, I am happy to report that on Friday, January 5, 2024, we forwarded our responses and document production to counsel for the Trustee in these aforementioned cases. Given the professional back-and-forth between counsel and I since then, it would appear that indeed the responses and the production were acknowledged and received by the Trustee. With this writing, I therefore confirm my client’s compliance with Your Honor’s Order. As I offered to Trustee’s counsel, I will likewise offer to the Court that should sworn testimony (in any form) be needed to affirm my client’s responses and production, he would readily oblige.”

Furthermore, this development also elaborates on the schemes that DJ Envy allegedly participated in. For example, Cesar Pina’s several fraud charges include those related to mortgage, wire, and bank conspiracy. Also, prosecutors accused him of shifting property prices to inflate loans from financial institutions, and using these for personal gain and other endeavors. VIBE reported that Pina is considering a plea deal, and he previously claimed Envy played no part in these lawsuits or their accusations. However, it’s unclear what consequences the Breakfast Club host or his ventures could face if this plea deal goes through. After all, this already blemished his reputation.
