Beyonce Fan Auctions Off “Renaissance” Tour Sunglasses For £15K

Beyoncé continues to showcase her seemingly endless generosity during her “Renaissance” World Tour. Recently, the pop icon shared the “AMERICA HAS A PROBLEM” remix with Kendrick Lamar and announced that she would be venturing into the hair industry. She has also been performing with her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, on multiple stops of the tour. After a recent show in Barcelona, Spain, Beyonce surprised fans. After the concert, she stepped outside and personally handed out merchandise while expressing her gratitude for their support. A small group had the opportunity to interact with her and her security guard, Julius. The fans captured the heartwarming moment on camera.

The footage of Beyonce’s kindness gained attention on Twitter, with mixed reactions from users. While many praised the singer’s humility, some criticized fans for demanding photos while receiving their free gifts. Comparisons were made to Princess Jasmine from Disney’s Aladdin, highlighting the fans’ eagerness. In addition to this act of generosity, Beyonce set a new record in Spain. Her sold-out stadium show drew 53,000 attendees, making her the solo female artist with the highest concert attendance in Spanish history.

One Beyonce left her most recent tour feeling very fortunate. The fan is auctioning off a pair of sunglasses that the singer threw into the crowd during her performance at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The sunglasses are believed to be custom-made by luxury fashion brand Off White. The fan, whose name is Valentino, caught the glasses not once, but twice. Beyonce tossed the sunglasses into the crowd while performing her song “Diva.” They were initially confiscated by security. However, Queen B later threw them back into the crowd. Valentino, surprised to have caught the glasses a second time, is now auctioning them with an estimated value of £15,000 at Omega Auctions.

Off White sunglasses typically retail for around £200. However, the rarity of these sunglasses has driven up their potential value. The fact that they were likely designed specifically for Beyonce is a big selling point. Some fans have criticized Valentino for selling the sunglasses. They think that he should keep them and that it is a bad look to try and make money off of them. Still, others seem to understand the decision given the opportunity to make extra money. What do you think of the situation? Would you sell the sunglasses or keep them? Sound off in the comments below!

Tommie Lee Alleges Paula Abdul Stole Her Sunglass Design

In the midst of a celebrity entrepreneurship boom, singer Paula Abdul released her own line of “smart audio glasses” this week, but is now being accused of stealing a design from Love & Hip Hop alum Tommie Lee.

Lee, who previously launched her sunglass brand Kilt Frames, alleged that Abdul stole her “cat eye” sunglass idea, saying on Instagram that she’s “discouraged and heartbroken” over the situation.

“I had high hopes for this business. All of that. And to just wake up and see that, like bro that’s crazy,” she recently said on Instagram. “Down to the look of my frames. Like down to the cat eye that I speak so highly on.”

“This is crazy bro. I see this happen all the time to us. But, I never thought that for real, for real it would be me,” the influencer also stated.

Continuing to vent on social media, Lee also shared a photo of the “American Idol” judge promoting her new line. Writing on her Instagram Story, she then shared, “For this woman to steal my entire idea down to the look and everything is disgusting this always happens US i honestly can’t believe this.”

Adding that she feels “discouraged and heartbroken,” the 38-year-old continued, “It’s not fair and it really make me want to say f**k it and go back to the old me.”

According to Venture Beat, the “Straight Up” singer’s new brand is called IdolEyes. The products allow users to answer phone calls, listen to music/podcasts, and can also connect to Bluetooth.

Working with 1 of 1 Custom, Abdul launched the brand this past Wednesday. Per Kilt Frame’s website, Lee also collaborated with the tech company to release two pairs of audio sunglasses titled “Night Out” and “Sunny Brunchers.”

Abdul has yet to respond to the accusation.
