Lil Tay’s Father Threatens To Sue For Defamation After He Is Accused Of Faking Social Media Star’s Death

Lil Tay was involved in a very bizarre death hoax just last month. Overall, the reports of her death were extremely shocking. Fans could not believe that the 14-year-old was dead, especially given how suddenly it was all reported. However, over the coming days, the story began to unravel and it was revealed that she did not die. Instead, someone had conjured up this very weird hoax that fans began investigating. So far, there is still no concrete evidence in regard to who did it.

However, today, a post from Lil Tay’s Instagram account suggested that it was her father who had something to do with this. Overall, it was a wild accusation that stunned quite a few people. Furthermore, the post detailed how Christopher J. Hope is allegedly a misogynist woman beater who is also racist and abusive to his children. According to TMZ, Hope has responded to the posts, claiming that he intends to sue whoever is responsible for defamation. He also denied any wrongdoing.

Lil Tay’s Father Speaks

“The person who is responsible for that Instagram post, as well as anyone repeating the completely false and libelous accusation within it, are virtually certain to become defendants in a defamation lawsuit,” Hope said. “Everything stated is 100% false, and I trust that this should be obvious to anyone who knows me or the long history of absurd and untrue statements made by the various people who have controlled the Instagram account.” Needless to say, Hope is livid at these allegations. That said, no one actually knows who is running the account and who made the post.

This is a developing story that doesn’t seem to be seeing much progression towards the truth of what really happened. Kanye West Hit With $2 Million Gap Lawsuit

New legal documents obtained by TMZ reveal that Kanye West has been sued by Gap for over $2 million. The lawsuit surrounds the musician’s failed partnership with the brand, which officially ended last year. Gap is being sued by the company Art City Center, who claim they leased a building out to Gap to act as a storefront for Ye’s collaboration with the clothing company. The company is now suing Gap for unauthorized changes made to the building during the lease. Gap claims that West is responsible to pay the damages, reporting that their contract with the artist calls for them not to be liable in an instance such as this.

Last year, Gap revealed that they’d be ending their partnership with West due to various antisemitic statements he made publicly. “In September, GAP announced ending its Yeezy GAP partnership,” a 2022 statement from the brand read. The statement continued, “Our former partner’s recent remarks and behavior further underscore why. We are taking immediate steps to remove Yeezy Gap product from our stores and we have shut down YeezyGap.com.”

Gap Is Being Sued

Prior to Ye’s partnership with Gap ending in 2022, he shared a message to the company’s executives on Instagram. He called his collaboration with the brand “a life mission,“ and not “celebrity marketing.” “You have to really give me the position to be Ye and do what I’m thinking or I’m going to have to do what I’m thinking somewhere else. Because if there’s one thing I learned from Virgil, if something’s killing you, it’s actually killing you,” he said.

West continued, saying, “This is the moment. There will never be an opportunity with a guy like me that cares this much about specifically this brand and has done this until this point. We are like Tom Brady waking people up at 2 am during COVID but he went back and got that ring.” Ye then gave the company an ultimatum, saying, “You either believe me or I’m going to show you. I can either show you facing this way [back facing the executives] or facing this way [frontward].”

Blueface Sued For Strip Club Shooting

Blueface just received a civil lawsuit from a woman who claimed to be injured during a strip club shooting involving the rapper in Las Vegas. Moreover, the incident occurred at the now defunct Euphoric Gentlemen’s Club on October 8, 2022. According to local Vegas news station CBS 8 News‘s report on Thursday (March 23), Jasmine Brooks is suing both the rapper and the establishment in question. Furthermore, Blue stands accused of firing shots outside of the venue, and Brooke said that she sustained alleged injuries as a result.

From what lawsuit documents obtained by the news station indicate, the woman specifically blamed the California rapper and security for her troubles. She claimed to suffer “sustained injuries to her body, specifically her face as a result of defendants’ inadequate, unreasonable and egregiously deficient security of the property.” However, the lawsuit doesn’t specify how anyone injured her or the nature of the damages. Still, it adds that the 26-year-old “breached his duty of reasonable care by carrying and firing a firearm into a crowded room of people. At all relevant times, [the gentlemen’s club] allowed defendant Blueface to be a guest on their premises while in possession of an unidentified firearm,” the lawsuit read.

Strip Club Shooting Gets Blueface Sued

Not only that, but Brooke reportedly seeks a jury trial and wants more than $15,000 in damages. Moreover, this adds to an already significant legal pile that the “Thotiana” MC faced as a result of the incident. Furthermore, authorities arrested him on November 15 of that year, just about a month after the shooting occurred. Also, officials charged him with attempted murder after a club patron claimed his crew jumped him for making a joke about their car.

In fact, it seems like Blueface took such offense to the joke that he shot at the patron’s vehicle as they left. Previously, he confronted the rapper’s entourage from his car and asked them, “Who hit me?” When someone reportedly approached the vehicle, the patron drove away, which is when Blue took the shots. What’s more is that the club shut down because of this reason, and they also sued the rapper. All in all, it seems like he’ll have to deal with a lot of legal pressure regarding this case. Regardless, log back into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Blueface.

Lil Wayne Sued By Former Personal Chef

Lil Wayne is nearly three decades into his decorated career as one of the undisputed greatest rappers of all time.

At this point, nothing surrounding the 40-year-old hitmaker should really come as a surprise.

In the most recent news about the “Lollipop” rapper, he’s now facing a lawsuit. It comes from Morghan Medlock, who formerly worked as his personal chef.

According to a report from TMZ, Medlock is accusing the New Orleans native of various different unlawful practices. The alleged injustices include wrongful termination and retaliation.

It all began when she was in Las Vegas for a trip with Weezy and his crew during Memorial Day weekend earlier this year. Upon getting a call notifying her that her 10-year-old son was in the hospital after sustaining a head injury, Medlock obviously needed to get back to her home in L.A.

However, she claims that the Young Money rapper is responsible for delaying the flight back because he was too busy smoking on the aircraft. She subsequently chose to catch a different flight home instead.

Although she notified Tunechi’s assistant and even tried getting back to work after dealing with the situation, she claims she was terminated.

She’s supposedly seeking a minimum payment of $500,000 from the “Lollipop” rapper for the wrongdoing.

Prior to the news of the legal situation, Wayne was recently seen in good spirits, as he usually is.

During his appearance on ESPN for Monday Night Football last night (December 19), he reacted to Eli Manning’s rapping skills.

After playing the hip-hop legend a humorous video of his remix of Fivio Foreign’s “1 On 3,” he was all smiles. “I didn’t know what was going on. I saw the Cuban around your neck. I’m glad I actually saw a video of what that was all about. But you killed it. You killed it. Yeah, you killed that,” he tells Manning.

DaBaby Facing Lawsuit For Allegedly Stealing “Rockstar” Beat From Producer

DaBaby’s downfall continues. The rapper – who was among the most popular in the world in 2020 – has been in the news for controversial reasons since last year.

According to a report from TMZ, the “BOP” rapper is now being sued for stealing the beat to one of his most popular songs, “ROCKSTAR” featuring Roddy Ricch.

The producer filing the lawsuit, JuJu Beatz claims that he sent a “musical composition” to DaBaby’s team a few years back. Part of it was later sampled by the 30-year-old illegally and without his permission.

Additionally, the creative claims the rapper and his camp accessed the digital file over 40 times from late 2019 to early 2020.

Beatz is suing for damages, as the rapper is seemingly refusing to cooperate outside of court.

“ROCKSTAR” currently has over one billion streams on Spotify since its release. The up-and-coming hitmaker says he hasn’t earned any money for his allegedly stolen beat.

As we mentioned earlier, controversy has been running rampant in the “Babysitter” artist’s life for some time now. In the summer of 2021, the Cleveland native received backlash for some out-of-pocket comments he made while on stage at Rolling Loud.

In a hate-filled rant seemingly towards the LGBTQ+ community, he singled out AIDS victims. “If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, or any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases, that’ll make you die in two to three weeks, then put your cellphone lighter up,” he said to the crowd.

Gay men were the target of his next remark. “Fellas, if you ain’t sucking d*ck in the parking lot, put your cellphone lighter up,” DaBaby continued.

Consequently, a number of festivals including Lollapalooza went forward with removing the KIRK rapper from their lineups.

Meeting with several organizations and a since-deleted public apology led to an LGBTQ+ foundation, Relationship Unleased, forgiving the rapper.

CEO Gwendolyn D. Clemons said they felt as though the GRAMMY-nominated rapper had learned why his comments were harmful.

After escaping that scandal (not without consequences, however), he’s now caught up in the “ROCKSTAR” lawsuit.

As the latest saga in DaBaby’s troubled career begins to unfold, do you think he’ll ever be as popular as he once was? Sound off in the comments below.
