Kendrick Lamar Roasted For Fake Jordans

On June 15, it was revealed that the Instagram account @jojoruski was in fact Kendrick Lamar’s burner account. Since coming off private earlier this week, the account has accrued 498,000 followers. With the content currently limited to a variety of candid selfies, it appears to be a more casual and intimate way for Lamar to keep fans up to date with his life. It’s a big leap for the mostly-private rapper. Elsewhere, Lamar recently released his remix of Beyoncé’s “America’s Got A Problem” to mixed reviews.

In a post on June 16, Lamar showed off a birthday present to himself. “how im coming for my bday 🤫,” the rapper wrote in the caption alongside various pictures and videos of him flexing his new sneakers, a pair of red and black Jordans The shoes in question are a vivid red and black pair. Clicking through the post reveals Lamar taking his new shoes for a walk through a rainy New York. This indicates that the show purchase took place earlier in the week as he was performing in Tennessee on the 16th. Lamar turned 36 on the 17th. However, people are starting to take notice of his shoes as the images circulate online.

At first glance, Lamar’s new shoes appear to be a pair of Air Jordans. However, a little research online and a closer look at the videos of the shoes show that they are in fact knockoffs. “They used to clown me in school for wearing these. They just wasn’t on the shit I was on,” music producer BYNX wrote in the comments of Lamar’s post. Another commenter joked that Lamar had purchased the “Deadpool 4s” while someone else referenced Shaq’s shoreline by saying that “My n-gga in the Santee Alley Shaq 12’s”. However, most devastating of all was likely the person who simply said “haha Kendrick wears size 8.”

Despite this, most of the comments were still getting used to the fact that the reclusive Kendrick was posting life updates on social media. “kendrick using emojis is like seeing your teacher outside of school,” says one commenter. “we love seeing you livin’ a regular life Mr. Lamar, before everybody thought you was in a cave writing poetry beside a campfire with tea,” adds another. “Wait so kendrick is a n*rmal human being that does n*rmal people stuff ⁉,” asked a third.

Travis Scott joins former professional tennis player, John McEnroe, in a commericial for the new Nike Mac Attack. The two compete in a tennis match in the commercial for the comeback of the shoes, which were famously worn by McEnroe in the ’80s. It’s also rumored that the rapper will release his own Nike Mac Attack, complete with his signature reverse swoosh on the sides. The two were pictured in new promotional photos for the shoe last week, which also showcased the famous UTOPIA briefcase.

Rumors about his version of the shoe circulated last week. Modern Notoriety on Twitter shared a photo of what’s reported to be the Travis Scott x Nike Mac Attack, claiming that the shoe will be released around the holidays this year.

Travis Scott Plays Tennis With John McEnroe

Travis Scott has continued to tease his upcoming album recently, being seen various times with the famous briefcase. Although Epic Recently, a member of SZA’s security team was photographed handcuffed to it backstage on her “SOS” tour. Travis and SZA are rumored to be working on some new music together, which could land on the new album. Epic Records CEO Sylvia Rhone previously said that UTOPIA would be dropped this month, despite it having no confirmed release date.

Travis Scott also attended Cannes Film Festival last month, having a member of his security carry the briefcase. He attended the premiere of The Weeknd’s new series, The Idol. The Weeknd also shared photos alongside the UTOPIA briefcase, leading fans to suspect he may be featured on the album. Some listeners also think that Bad Bunny may appear on the LP, as he previewed a new collab with the Puerto Rican rapper at a Monaco club last month. Recently, he’s been working on music at Abbey Road Studios with his producer, Mike Dean. The rapper and his security team also recreated The Beatles’ iconic 1969 album cover. Beyoncé Wows With Multiple Stunning Outfits During Renaissance Tour Stop In Amsterdam

Beyoncé is coming to the end of the European leg of her Renaissance Tour. Beginning in Stockholm on May 10, the legendary artist has worked her way across Belgium, Wales, Scotland, England, France, Spain, and Germany. Currently performing in Amsterdam, Beyoncé will do two more performances in Germany and two in Poland. After that, she heads to Toronto on July 8 to begin the lengthy North American leg of the tour.

The tour is Beyoncé’s first since the On The Run II Tour in 2018 and fitting, she has gone all out. Social media has been consistently flooded with amazing visuals from across Western Europe. June 17 marked the first of two performances at Amsterdam’s iconic Johan Cruyff Arena. Built in 1996, it has been the long-time home of The Netherlands’ national soccer team. But for two nights in June, it has become Beyoncé’s throne room. Furthermore, she has once again managed to one-up herself in terms of visual style.

Social Media Shares Beyoncé’s Amazing Amsterdam Outfits

Following the first show in Amsterdam, social media users have been sharing Beyoncé’s outfits. PopBase shared an image of a futuristic-looking dress with unique metallic designs. Multiple users shared pictures of Queen Bey’s shimmering leotard, reportedly a custom Gucci design. Furthermore, there were also pictures of a silver halter top-like outfit, which Beyoncé appeared to utilize with a picture frame/window setting piece. Additionally, the singer is seen rocking a gold and black bodysuit in several clips of the performance.

It’s likely that more images will emerge after the iconic musician’s second show on June 18. After concluding in Amsterdam, Beyoncé next appears in Hamburg, Germany on June 21. After Hamburg, she travels to Frankfurt on the 24th. Her final European tour stops occur on June 27 and 28 in Warsaw, Poland. After a much-deserved break, Beyoncé begins the North American leg of the tour, which comprises 35 stops. The Renaissance Tour finally comes to a close with a show at the Ceasars Superdome in New Orleans on September 27.

Drake Releases “Hotline Bling” Pool Merch

Drake‘s “Hotline Bling” turns eight this year. One of the biggest songs of 2015, the song is certified diamond. Furthermore, it peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100. “Hotline Bling” was kept off the top spot by Omi’s “Cheerleader”, which was released a week before “Hotline Bling” and spent the first three weeks of August holding down the top spot. Subsequently, the charts were dominated by The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face” and “The Hills”.

As well as being one of Drake’s biggest hits, the song has enjoyed plenty of staying power. This is due to its presence in a number of memes and parodies. However, not everyone was a fan of the song. The track got mixed reviews upon release, as well as being accused of promoting sexism and glorifying being controlling in relationships. Regardless, Drake is throwing back to the track in a new merch line.

According to the Drake merch site DrakeRelated.com, the Toronto rapper is dropping some limited-edition “Hotline Bling” merch just in time for summer. “This can only mean one thing. Start wearing less, and floating more. Hotline Bling + @Funboy Pool Float and Beach Towel now available on DrakeRelated, while supplies last,” the site announced on Instagram. The collection comprises two items. First is a pink beach towel with the “1-800-Hotline-Bling” written on it. Second is a pink pool float shaped liked a cell phone. Both items cost $69.

It’s a bold choice for Drake to launch limited-edition merch nearly eight years after the song they relate to was released. These products will more than likely sell out in the next few days. However, the sentiment was repeated numerous times in the comments of the release announcement. Furthermore, $69 is a lot for a towel, especially one with such a simple design as the one released. Beyonce’s mom, Tina Knowles-Lawson, has recently taken to social media to share her appreciation for one of her daughter’s latest outfits. She shared photos of her daughter in a new dress, adding a sweet caption. “This is a beautiful dress one in Cologne Germany!” she writes, “Love this one!” She goes on to further compliment the star, saying, “Every night new beautiful high fashion !!! Who does that????” Fans in the comments section agreed with the mother, telling her, “Only the Queen can do that.”

Beyonce is currently on her “Renaissance” world tour, and recently, she made Spanish history with her performance in Barcelona. She sold out a stadium with 53,000 attendees, making it the highest selling concert by a solo female artist in Spain. After the show, she even stopped to greet fans, handing out merch and thanking them for attending. She’s had several celebrity guests attend the tour recently, including Ariana Grande, Paul McCartney, Future, Kylie Jenner, and more.

Beyonce and her mother both wrote heartfelt messages to the 11-year-old following her show in Paris. “My beautiful first born,” Beyonce wrote, “I’m so proud and thankful to be your mama. You bring us so much joy, my sweet angel.”

It’s clear that Beyonce isn’t the only person Knowles-Lawson likes gas up on social media. She shared a clip of Blue Ivy at the show, writing, “Smooth with it Blue Ivy Performing at Paris Concert!!!” Earlier this year, she also celebrated Blue Ivy’s birthday, calling her “funny and beautiful and graceful, Kind, and so smart,” in another sweet message on Instagram. Some previously thought that his long-time contemporary, Kanye West, might get the job. However, his controversial antics at the time may have caused the brand to distance itself from him, and instead select Pharrell Williams. The producer’s new role was officially announced in February, and more recently we reported that he’ll be making his runway debut at the quickly approaching Paris Fashion Week.

Ahead of the show, Skateboard P is making big moves on Instagram. In the early hours of Thursday (June 15) morning, he lit up Instagram with a new photo from the City of Love, where he proudly poses in front of a new LV billboard featuring Rihanna. In the massive photograph, the “Umbrella” singer carried a collection of colourful baggage worn on her arms, cooly holding a coffee in her hand while showing off her baby bump under a leather jacket.

According to photos obtained by Page Six, Kanye and Censori were both wearing no shoes. Instead, they had leggings that covered their feet. Clearly, Kanye is looking to take a break from wearing his signature Yeezys. Furthermore, the two could be seen making out and engaging in some PDA. Images of this were obtained by the Daily Mail. Needless to say, these two are still extremely happy with one another. While it has been a long road for Ye, it looks like Censori is providing him some stability.
