Kanye West Sparks Controversy By Hiring Gosha Rubchinskiy As Yeezy’s New Head Of Design

Kanye West is going to be dropping a brand-new album on Friday with Ty Dolla Sign. Overall, Vultures is supposed to be the last big album of the year. However, there are fears that the project will be a complete mess. Furthermore, Ye is still pushing his Nazi side, which has left a lot of fans feeling hopeless. At this point, Ye is going for pure shock value, and he will associate with anyone if he feels like it will cause a stir. Well, that is exactly what he is doing with his Yeezy brand and its new Head of Design.

Yesterday, Ye took to Twitter for the first time in months. It was here where he revealed that Gosha Rubchinskiy would become the new head of design at Yeezy. Overall, Gosha is a big name in the design world, however, he was recently forced into an exile of sorts after being accused of allegedly soliciting photos from a 16-year-old. Although Gosha denies that he did anything wrong, there are still fans who believe this hiring is beyond the pale. That said, Gosha has expressed excitement about the new position, over on his Instagram account.

Fabolous Denies “Purse” Rumors, Stands By Men’s Cross-Body Bag

Fabolous is no stranger to catching heat online for his fashion choices, but this time he fired back. Recently, the performer was seen carrying a bright green Bottega crossbody bag in Miami, and some fans weren’t here for it. Countless commenters weighed in, claiming that it looked more like a women’s purse than a bag designed for men.

Fabolous made it clear that he won’t be tolerating the unwarranted insults, however, responding in an Instagram Story. The Brooklyn-born artist posted a screenshot of the bag’s retail price, $2100, sharing that he’s unbothered by the negative feedback. “IG Commenters had a time making jokes about me wearing a purse [laughing emoji] Which was really a cross body bag for men but go off.. F*ck y’all I like my little bag lol,” he wrote. Obviously, Fabolous is a fan of the accessory and isn’t going to let other people dictate what he decides to rock.

While Fabolous is certainly standing by his “little bag,” social media users took aim at his stylist last month, after a clip of him modeling some new fits went viral. Some of the styles were admittedly far out, but he looked confident nonetheless. He didn’t respond at the time, but based on his response to the recent bag scandal, he clearly doesn’t appreciate any unsolicited fashion tips.

Though some of Fabolous’ fashion statements are up for debate, his rapping skills most definitely are not. Most recently, he unleashed some bars over Drake’s Scary Hours 3 track “Evil Ways” at the Toronto native’s indirect request. “Dropping the instrumentals this week I wanna hear who’s barring up,” Drake challenged in an Instagram announcement at the end of November, prompting Fabolous to get to work. Drake Shows Love To Action Bronson With New NFL x OVO Collab

Drake and his OVO brand have done some very cool things over the years. Overall, one of their best collaborations has come with none other than NFL. This upcoming collaboration is set to come out later this week and will feature a plethora of varsity jackets relating to the teams in the league. So far, we have seen the Pittsburgh Steelers jacket, repped by none other than Snoop Dogg. Moreover, there is going to be a New York Jets jacket, and it was modeled by Action Bronson.

Bronson and Drake haven’t exactly communicated a lot in regards to the public eye. However, they are two men who are both entrenched in the hip-hop world. Consequently, it makes sense that they would eventually link up in one way or another. Below, you can see Bronson in the Jets jacket, and it is looking very good right now. OVO always comes through with some amazing collabs. However, they have clearly upped the ante with this latest one.

According to HipHopDX, Drake ended up taking things a step further by reposting the photos of Bronson on his Instagram story. Moreover, he said that the rapper was one of his “favorite people.” Needless to say, these two have gotten to spend some time together. Drizzy is a student of the craft, and he is someone who listens to a whole plethora of different styles. Clearly, Bronson is someone who has inspired him along the way. Perhaps someday, we could get Bronson on a Drake album.

To begin the week, 6ix9ine said that he’s planning on sharing new music before 2024 (or very early on in January at the latest), and now, Coi Leray is teasing something fun and festive she’s had in the works. On Monday (December 11), the Boston-born artist posted a snippet on Twitter of her unreleased track, writing, “Listen to this idea. This s**t is FIREEEEEEEEE .”

Seeing as she called it an “idea,” we’re not expecting the song to actually hit DSPs in time for Santa’s arrival. Of course, we’d be happy to hear any new music Leray wants to share, especially after hearing her growth on her sophomore COI album. So far, even those who don’t currently listen to the fashionista’s music are in favour of her releasing it. “I’m not big on her but this actually sounds cute. I’d definitely stream it,” one of them wrote, with thousands of others liking the message.

Pharrell Reflects On What He’s Learned As Louis Vuitton Creative Director

Pharrell recently discussed some of the lessons he’s learned since taking over as creative director at Louis Vuitton. Speaking with GQ, the legendary producer explained the importance of having a great team around you as an artist.

“One of the greatest things that I’ve learned is about really concentrating on how to do something great, and how important it is to have the resources to bring it to life,” Pharrell told the outlet. “Being surrounded by the greatest of the greats, team wise, it just makes all the difference in the world. I mean, you can have good ideas all the time. There’s so many people with great ideas, but when you don’t have the right team around you and the unlimited resources and support, it’s just extremely difficult. I’ve learned that.” Pharrell added: “I don’t know how I got anything done before this. Now I’m used to working with an orchestra of brilliant talent.”

Pharrell also discussed how he felt after his debut fashion show in Paris in June. “I didn’t have any expectations,” he admitted to the outlet. “I just was so caught up in the process, as I am now. I’m just very… I’m not overwhelmed in a negative way, but I am consumed by the creative process and executing and getting things right. That’s so important to me.”

Pharrell joined the fashion house back in February, filling the position left vacant by the death of Virgil Abloh in 2021. He described the offer as a surprise while discussing the gig with GQ for a previous interview in August. The other half of City Girls, JT, even chimed in, calling her the “HBIC.” Though most fans are showing her love, some continue to express concern for the Caresha Please host amid the recent allegations against Diddy.

Last month, Diddy’s ex Cassie filed a lawsuit accusing him of sexual assault, physical and emotional abuse, and more. They settled shortly after, however, three additional women have since come forward with similar allegations. He’s denied any wrongdoing, declaring that “enough is enough” following news of his fourth lawsuit. Kanye West Goes Shoeless To Miami Night Club To Close Out Art Basel

Kanye West’s style choices continue to cause an uproar, even if in this case, it’s just because of how uncomfortable it looks. Moreover, he was recently spotted in Miami, specifically the night club E11EVEN, early Sunday morning (December 10) at around 2:30AM to participate in the closing Art Basel Miami Beach celebrations. When the Yeezy mogul arrived with his crew, he pulled up with socks– no shoes– to the function, and seemed to blend in with everyone else. Given that he wore a white scarf around his head and went by pretty unnoticed at a back VIP table, it’s clear that, just like for most of the year, he didn’t really want to be seen. The Chicago rapper and his companions were there for less than an hour.

Furthermore, there actually might be an interesting reason for this short stay, according to an alleged Page Six insider. They posited that Bianca Censori only let Kanye West go out for a certain amount of time, which is a curious claim about their dynamic. If you didn’t know, the two faced breakup rumors last month, but it seems they sidestepped all of that. Their relationship has been a rollercoaster to witness, but hopefully things are more stable than they seem just based off scandalous headlines.

However, we can’t forget about another important reason as to why Kanye West is in Miami. Apparently, he and Ty Dolla $ign are throwing a listening party in the city for their new album on Tuesday (December 12) at midnight. Of course, we say “apparently” because various other attempts to perform or play this project fell through. It seems closer than ever, but considering all of Ye’s public controversies and concerning attitudes, it’s still anyone’s guess.

Meanwhile, he also teased some new music recently, so perhaps the collaborative LP is really around the corner. But this is far from the first time that we’ve heard this from the 46-year-old.
