Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have entered their “nesting” era, according to sources who spoke with Us Weekly. “They’re focused on rest and recuperation and relaxing at home and having low-key and chill time together. They are enjoying movie nights in her home theater, catching up on films and shows they’ve missed,” the source said. Furthermore, the couple is “scheduling their various projects” going forward in order to “see as much of each other as possible.” Kelce, who has attended shows in both Sydney and Signapore, is expected to do some traveling with Swift in Europe.

However, the couple deserves a break after a hectic start to the year. Swift started the second leg of her Eras Tour, performing in Japan, Australia, and Singapore. She’s due back on the road in May to tour Europe alongside Paramore. Meanwhile, Kelce picked up his third Super Bowl ring in one of the most entertaining modern Super Bowls. However, with some downtime, the couple now has a chance for some quality time away from the spotlight.

The KC Current, which is part-owned by the Mahomeses, were hosting the Portland Thorns. The game also marked the opening of the Current’s new stadium, which was partially funded by the Mahomeses.

However, any expectations of a calm opening day were blown out of the water by a nine-goal thriller. The Current led 3-0 at halftime and 5-1 after 70 minutes. Despite this, the Thorns came heart-breakingly close to a massive comeback as they scored three times in the final 20 minutes but ran out of time, with the game finishing 5-4 to the Current. The game included a broken record for the Current, with 16-year, 4-month year-old Alex Pfieffer becoming the league’s youngest-ever scorer.

Longer term, it would be ideal [to get to a place] where you don’t have to deal with that. We’re dealing with human beings. We do talk about it internally,” Hayes reasoned.

South Carolina Star Becomes Steph Curry’s First NIL Signing

South Carolina freshman MiLaysia Fulwiley has become the first collegiate athlete to sign with Steph Curry’s NIL brand. Per the brand, Fulwiley will be an “ambassador” at the NCAA tournament later this month and will sport Curry-branded shoes for the rest of her collegiate career. Fulwiley was recently crowned MVP of the SEC tournament, the first freshman to capture the award.

Just one day remains until the brackets for March Madness 2024 are revealed. Saturday and Sunday will see the final 13 conference titles decided, finalizing the 32 teams that receive an automatic berth to the tournament. This group already contains everyone from giants like South Carolina and UConn to first-time dancers such as Presbyterian and Texas A&M – Corpus Christi. The remain conferences to be decided are the MAC, WAC, MAAC, MEAC, SWAC, C-USA, Ivy League, Big West, Atlantic Sun, Patriot, CAA, and MVC. Additionally, nine champions will be decided on Saturday, with the final four decided just hours before the bracket reveal on Sunday.

36 teams will be announced alongside the conference champions tomorrow. This will include the 8 “First Four” teams, who play a preliminary play-in game. The bracket is split into 16 quadrants, with the highest seed in each quadrant hosting the first two rounds. After the first two rounds, the tournament moves to two regional sites – Portland and Albany. The final four and national championship game will take place in Cleveland. Meanwhile, the men’s national championship game takes place in Glendale, Arizona this year.

Juwan Howard Fired By Michigan After Historically Bad Season

Juwan Howard has been fired as the head coach of the Michigan Wolverines men’s basketball team. This follows one of the worst seasons in team history. After starting 6-5, the team won just two games after December 16, finishing 8-24, as well as 3-17 in conference play.

“After a comprehensive review of the program, I have decided that Juwan will not return as our men’s basketball coach. Juwan is among the greatest Wolverines to ever be associated with our basketball program. I know how much it meant, to not only Juwan, but to all of us for him to return here to lead this program. Despite his love of his alma mater and the positive experience that our student-athletes had under his leadership, it was clear to me that the program was not living up to our expectations and not trending in the right direction. A group of current and former college athletes, led by former Kentucky swimmer Riley Gaines, has sued the NCAA over its policy allowing transgender athletes to compete. The lawsuit primarily focuses on the inclusion of transgender swimmer Lia Thomas (Penn) at the 2022 NCAA National Championships. Gaines, who has become a right-wing anti-trans advocate since graduating, finished joint fifth with Thomas in the 200-yard final. However, Gaines claimed she was excluded from celebrating because Thomas was handed the fifth-place trophy and not her. Another plaintiff is Tylor Mathieu (Florida). Mathieu finished 9th in 500 free qualification. This meant she missed out on the final, which Thomas won.

Of course, it’s far from the first time Thomas has been the target of right-wing attacks. The right-wing media, Gaines included, lost their collective minds when it was reported that Thomas had been nominated for “NCAA Woman of the Year”. Except she hadn’t. She had been nominated as Penn’s candidate for the Ivy League nomination but ultimately wasn’t selected.

USWNT Still Finding Consistency After World Cup Loss

As Kilgore noted, the USWNT has spent the last year learning that there are no longer any easy matches in women’s soccer. At last summer’s World Cup, the USWNT only beat Vietnam. The team drew their other two group matches against the Netherlands and Portugal. Portugal actually came a post’s width away from beating the US, which would have eliminated the defending world champions in the group stage.

Furthermore, this was followed by the team crashing out in the Round of 16 against Sweden. The US had 22 shots against the European side. In fact, the US had more shots on target (11) than the Swedes had total shots (9). However, it wasn’t enough. The Swedes played their signature style of ultra-defensive football that has frustrated the Americans in the past. Regulation and extra time both came and went with no goals, meaning it was going to penalties. A string of late misses from the Americans, including sky-high efforts from Megan Rapinoe and Sophia Smith, gave the Swedes the chance to win. Lina Hurtig’s effort initially looked like it had been saved. However, it bounced back across the line to give Sweden the win. Swedish goalkeeper Zećira Mušović was named Woman of the Match for her record-breaking 11-save performance.

Aaron’s ring comes the Super Bowl which he won back in 2021. Erica commissioned Moe Diamonds back in 2022 with the idea and the jeweler is more than happy with the results.

Per TMZ, “Moe says the ring is filled with VS-VVS diamonds, yellow and blue sapphires matching Rams colors. It also has an F-color marquise center diamond that looks just like a football. The iced-out item also features Donald’s initials, his No. 99 jersey number, the letters SBLVI, and palm trees to represent Los Angeles.” Both Moe and Erica are hoping that more partners of Super Bowl winners jump on the trend. Erica’s creation cost about $17,000 and includes around three carats of diamonds. “I created a lady’s Super Bowl ring,” Moe said. “Aaron Donald’s wife was the first person to receive it for the Super Bowl the Rams won.”
