Angel Reese is seemingly going to be followed by critics for the rest of her life. Ever since transferring from the University of Maryland to head to Louisiana State, she has had to constantly deal with scrutiny. Her competitive fire on and off the hardwood has led her to be viewed as a controversial figure. Unfortunately, most of hate she has gotten over the last two years or so has pretty much been unearned. However, when you join a major program, more eyes and ears are on you at all times. Of course, the main headline that swirled around the power forward was her alleged low GPA. What was really surprising throughout all of that was that Flau’jae Johnson’s (a now former teammate) parents were feuding with Angel’s parents about this. However, with Angel Reese graduating from LSU, she can put a damper on them and everyone else who had something to say.

According to The Shade Room, the number seven overall draft pick of the Chicago Sky posted some pictures of her in her “Bayou Barbie” graduation cap and black suit just yesterday. Angel graduated in four years with a major in interdisciplinary studies and minors in communication studies, leadership development and psychology. The caption for the post was fitting, addressing all of the doubters and fools who believed the supposed fake news. “So now what? what was said? oh okay that’s what i thought. I graduated from THE LOUISIANA STATE UNIVERSITY IN 4 YEARS ON TIME i thought somebody without a college degree said sum.”

The biggest heavyweight fight in a very long time took place on Saturday in Saudi Arabia, as undefeated four-belt holder Oleksandr Usyk faced undefeated lineal champ Tyson Fury with the undisputed heavyweight crown on the line.

The fight lived up to the billing, with the two champs impressing at different stages of the fight. Fury, the favorite coming in, looked like he was taking control in the middle rounds until a stunning flurry from Usyk in the ninth round flipped the bout on its head. Usyk rocked Fury with a left that he didn’t see coming, and then chased Fury around the ring, battering him with punches and bouncing him off the ropes before the referee stepped in for an 8-count. Fury would finish the fight, but that 10-8 round was the difference in a Usyk split decision win and a split draw on the cards, giving the slight underdog the win and all five belts.

That ninth round effort will live in the minds of many for some time, with Drake being among them for the wrong reasons. Prior to the fight, Drake posted to Instagram that he had a $565,000 bet on Fury to win, and for a long time that looked like it had a good chance to cash until that ninth round changed everything.

Drake is no stranger to taking some losses this month, as his battle with Kendrick Lamar was a resounding majority decision win for K Dot in the eyes of the public. He tossed a little over half a million onto the fire by backing Fury, as a tough May continues for The Boy.

Before Game 5 of the Knicks vs. Indiana Pacers second-round series, the team’s locker room was reportedly calmed down by an “epic fart,” according to New York Knicks insider Fred Katz. Prior to game 5, the Knicks had dropped two straight games in Indiana. The Knicks have suffered several injuries to key players and finally looked like they were on the ropes against the Pacers. That all changed when the Knicks returned to Madison Square Garden and blew out the Pacers behind another 40-point game from Jalen Brunson. Apparently, the Knicks were able to come together because someone let off an “epic fart” before the game.

On the Dan LeBatard Show, Fred Katz said, “There was an epic fart that loosened up the locker room a lot before the game.” He continued, “And I’m not going to say who it was ’cause I’m not going to embarrass the guy. And that was it, and the guys were just — they were talking about the Thibs beach picture.” Someone who has not been identified is the one who dealt the gas that brought the team together.

Additionally, a photo of head coach Tom Thibodeau from the 66-year-old’s earlier years brought some laughs to Knicks players like Josh Hart. In their Tuesday game against the Pacers, the Knicks displayed the composure and focus necessary to win against the Pacers. They now lead the series 3-2 after their 30-point win over Indiana. The New York basketball team controlled the game almost immediately as they outscored the Pacers in each of the game’s four quarters.

After shooting only 16 of 43 overall in Games 3 and 4 in Indiana, Knicks standout guard Jalen Brunson answered with what may have been his finest offensive performance of the series thus far. In addition to scoring 44 points, he dished out seven assists. Now, they will look to eliminate Indiana on their home floor on Friday. Overall, the Knicks-Pacers series has been a lot of fun. If the Pacers don’t come out with energy, then the game is over. Nevertheless, from an outside perspective, a game 7 at MSG sounds pretty nice.

Luka Dončić made light of Barkley’s prophecy following the Mavericks’ victory. He asked the Hall of Famer to make the same prediction prior to their upcoming matchup with Oklahoma City. Chuck’s predictions and guarantees almost always backfire on him, which causes a great deal of enjoyment for everyone else.

“Luka getting a firm grasp on what fans have thought for a while, Chuckster. If you root for the other team, then you might be in pretty good shape,” Ernie Johnson said jokingly to Chuck after listening to Dončić’s comment. “Well, at least you don’t have to worry about it much longer,” Barkley said, laughing. Barkley is implying that TNT won’t be able to match NBC’s deal, and Inside the NBA and NBA on TNT won’t be around much longer, unfortunately for hoops fans.

That suggests that Barkley doesn’t think Warner Bros. Discovery and the NBA will be able to come to an arrangement so that TNT will continue to air its slate of games. He stated that it was inappropriate to make such insensitive and personal allegations as well as to bring up family members and subjects like pedophilia in a rap beef. Smith was adamant in his position of the beef being overkill and straying away from what he believes to be what rap feuds are for proving who is the better artist or lyricist. Overall, Stephen A. seemed taken aback by the viscousness of the beef. Now, he has finally decided to declare a winner.

It seems like the landmark choice for the winner of the Drake-Kendrick Lamar beef is Kendrick. Everyone has pretty much assumed Drake has thrown in the towel, even though the Toronto rapper had the last word. Although he released the latest diss track, it was drowned out by a much better and much more bumping song in “Not Like Us.” Stephen A. Smith has declared Kendrick the winner for that very reason. Drake seemed like he wanted it to end, and Kendrick wanted to win.
