Klay Thompson Claps Back At Grizzlies Over Dynasty Claims

Klay Thompson and the Memphis Grizzlies have been in a huge rivalry as of late. The young stars of the Grizzlies like Dillon Brooks and Ja Morant have rubbed him the wrong way. Overall, he does not care for their cocky attitudes, and he has made it his mission to teach them a lesson.

On Christmas Day, the Warriors and the Grizzlies played each other in what should have been a win for the Grizzlies. Without Steph Curry, the Warriors were huge underdogs to win the match. However, Thompson rallied the troops and came through with a massive win.

Klay Thompson Taunts The Grizzlies

As you can imagine, Thompson wasn’t very charitable to the Grizzlies after the game. In fact, he had a ton of smoke for them. In the clip down below, you can see Thompson going off on the team, noting just how much their tough talk is all for nothing.

“Man, they [were] talking about dynasty and all that, you can’t talk dynasty when you haven’t won before.” Thompson explained. “I don’t think people realize how hard that is, the commitment and sacrifice it takes. You got to sacrifice your body and I thought that was premature talk to even mention that word.”

After shooting a basket over the head of Brooks, Thompson hit him with the ultimate taunt. Brooks was on the ground, although that did not stop Thompson from being a complete menace out there. The Warriors superstar continues to yell in his face, and the crowd absolutely loved it.

Overall, the new rivalry between these two teams is a whole lot of fun. Hopefully, we see them battle each other in the playoffs again, sometime soon.

Let us know what you thought of Thompson’s remarks, in the comments down below.

LeBron James Speaks On Lakers’ “Reality” Without Anthony Davis

LeBron James says that life without Anthony Davis will be “very challenging” for the Los Angeles Lakers. James spoke about Davis’ absence following the team’s 124-115 loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Christmas Day.

“Reality is, without AD, we lose a lot of length which we don’t have already,” James explained. “So we have to make up in ways that, without AD, is very difficult, very challenging. So, I think at one point we had a lineup of I think [Austin Reaves] was the tallest guy on the court.

James continued: “So, you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure it out [that Davis is sorely missed].”

Davis is currently out of the lineup while nursing a stress fracture in his right foot. Chris Haynes of Turner Sports reports that the team will reevaluate his health in two weeks.

“You throw everything up against the wall and see what sticks, ” Lakers coach Darvin Ham explained. “It’s one of those types of situations. AD’s not here, not in the lineup. We’re not going to start using that as an excuse. Hell yeah, it’s a big hole in our lineup. But now, we’re pros. We’ve got to step up.”

For the Lakers’ Christmas Day loss, LeBron James finished with 38 points on 13-for-23 shooting. He has now played in the most Christmas Day games in NBA history with 17.

The Lakers have dropped four straight games in Davis’ absence. The team is now 13-20 on the season, leaving them at 13th in the Western Conference standings.

Josh Jacobs Unloads After Latest Raiders’ Loss: “It’s Bullsh*t”

Josh Jacobs went off after the Las Vegas Raiders’ latest disappointing loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The star running back says that he’s tired of his team struggling year after year.

“Yeah, man, it’s bullshit, for real,” Jacobs said after the game, per Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “It’s bullshit. And it’s on us, you know? Everybody wanna talk about the defense before. They made their stops when they were supposed to. Shit, we’ve got to help them out. And, you know, I’m tired of saying we’ve got to fucking help them out, and it’s just frustrating.”

The entire Raiders offense totaled just 201 yards during the 13-10 loss. Quarterback Derek Carr threw three interceptions, while Jacobs mustered only 44 yards.

“We still had opportunities to make plays,” Jacobs said when asked about the Steelers’ ability to stop the Raiders’ running game. “I feel like in times where we was close and we felt like we was about to get a big one, we went away from it. You know, and the pass game was working early. So, you know, that is what it is, but to win these games, you know, especially in the stretch, especially you’re up, against a team like this in the cold, you’ve got to run the ball. So that’s a factor on everybody involved, top to bottom.”

Jacobs’ remarks come just months ahead of his first time being an unrestricted free agent.

James Harden Responds To Rumors Of Returning To The Rockets

James Harden was upset with reporters on Sunday when asked whether it’s true that he’s interested in returning to the Houston Rockets. Harden remarked that he won’t address the rumors on Christmas.

“Why would you ask me about that on Christmas, man?” Harden said according to Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer. “You didn’t say Merry Christmas or nothing. You asked me about something that I ain’t even … I’m not answering. I didn’t see nothing.”

When pressed for an answer, Harden reiterated: ”I’m not talking right now before the game.”

Rumors of Harden’s interest in reuniting with the Rockets gained steam due to a new report from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

The veteran NBA reporter wrote: “Harden and his inner circle have been openly weighing Houston in recent months, sources said, a remarkable possibility given that he requested and received a trade out of the franchise less than two years ago.”

In the two years since leaving Houston, Harden has played for the Brooklyn Nets and Philidelphia 76ers. He’s seen minimal postseason success with both franchises.

After joining the 76ers, Harden inked a two-year, $68.6 million contract. However, the deal includes a player option for 2023-24, which would allow him to opt for free agency in the coming offseason.

James Harden and the Philadelphia 76ers are currently 20-12 and ranked fifth in the Eastern Conference standings.

On Sunday, he helped lead the team to a 119-112 win over the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. He finished the night with 29 points and 13 assists.

James Harden Reportedly Eyeing Return To The Houston Rockets

James Harden is certainly no stranger when it comes to being entangled in NBA rumors. Since joining the league as a rookie in 2009, he’s played for four different teams.

A shocking report on Monday (December 25) reveals that he could be wanting to play for one of his old squads again.

According to ESPN Senior NBA Insider, Adrian Wojnarowski, the current 76ers shooting guard might be eyeing a return to the Houston Rockets. However, this would only be if he enters free agency this summer.

His current two-year contract with the Sixers contains a player option for the 2023-24 season. If he chooses to take it, he will subsequently become a free agent.

The interesting part is that his present stint with Philadelphia began just shy of two years ago, shortly after he requested a trade out of Houston. The Rockets traded him to the Brooklyn Nets in a four-player deal in January, 2021. It reunited him with his former OKC teammate, Kevin Durant. Only a month later though, the world was witness to the Sixers and Nets swapping superstars Harden and Ben Simmons in a blockbuster trade.

Regardless of the new development, the 33-year-old was certainly gelling with his current team on Sunday (December 25). He put up 29 points and 13 assists in Philadelphia’s 119-112 win over the New York Knicks. The game served as the league’s first of five Christmas Day match-ups.

Furthermore, the All-Star guard seems to not be paying the reports too much attention. “I’m here. We are playing very well and I don’t know where the report came from, but I’m very excited to be here. We are playing well, and we’re continuing to get getter,” he told reporters following the win.

It will certainly be interesting to see how all of this unfolds during the off-season. For now, Philadelphia is enjoying an eight-game winning streak.

Could you see Harden back in a Rockets jersey? If so, who do you think they’d have to give up in a trade to get him? Sound off in the comments down below. Finally, make sure to check out our newest holiday-themed playlist here.

Trevon Diggs & Joie Chavis Smooch On The Sidelines

Love is in the air this holiday season, even on the football field. Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs shared a kiss with his boo Joie Chavis yesterday, on Christmas Eve. Moreover, the Cowboys played the Philadelphia Eagles and won 40 to 34. As Diggs ran off the field, he pulled his mask mask down and smooched Chavis, cheering from the sidelines, before moving on.

It’s wholesome to see the two share a cute moment, especially since Joie Chavis went through a lot recently. Someone broke into her Los Angeles home last November and traumatized her and her family. Given the surge in crime as of late, such stories are far too common. Fortunately, the family wasn’t harmed, but it’s a tough time to be sure.

On another note, the couple teased their romance back in October, and they’ve manifested. Previously, people started rumors that she was dating Diddy after they kissed on a yacht in Italy. Unlike Diggs, this wasn’t the case, and Chavis explained it via Instagram.

“I was working on an unreleased project for him and that’s why I was in Italy! In the midst of me being there we kissed, that’s it. Didn’t go further than that! I had my own damn room and he has always been respectful to me as a friend. The kiss shouldn’t have happened, but it did, and there’s nothing I can do about it.”

Meanwhile, the influencer spoke about sticking to celibacy “until the right one comes along.” She dated famous men like Bow Wow and Future, with whom she shares children, and rumors spread of her, Diddy, and many others. However, she wrote to followers on Instagram that she wants something more.

“I’ve been through so much pain, and as terrified as I am, I wanna be in love again,” she wrote. “I haven’t given up on that even though it seems nearly impossible to have someone in this generation. Single and dating is cool, but I’m really gonna stick to celibacy until the right one comes along.”

Seattle Seahawks & DK Metcalf Spark Twitter Frenzy Over Shirtless Warm-Ups

These days, NFL players compete in arctic conditions during the holiday season. However, DK Metcalf and the Seattle Seahawks walked onto the 10-degree weather unfazed. They faced off against the Kansas City Chiefs with a breeze that felt below zero. Moreover, they walked onto the field shirtless for warm-up practices, as a way to send a message to their home-court opponents. With so many tough and buff players on the field, and it being so cold outside, Twitter was having a field day.

Meanwhile, their confidence and attitude reflected an important mentality and focus they need to tap into. They are right on the cusp of a playoff position at 7-7, but cannot afford to lose. The New York Giants, Washington Commandeers, and Detroit Lions are also hungry for an extra playoff spot, and there’s just a couple left.

Furthermore, these weathered conditions greatly impact the remaining Week 16 games. Moreover, the U.S. is undergoing an arctic blast, and below-freezing temperatures and brutal winds practically canceled certain games. The Tennessee Titans and Houston Texans delayed their game for an hour due to power outages in Nashville. Meanwhile, the New Orleans Saints will have to drive up to Cleveland to face the Browns in temperatures below zero.

Just to illustrate the cold these players deal with in addition to football, the Buffalo Bills will play the Chicago Bears with a -28.5 degree wind chill. The aforementioned Saints and Browns game forecasted at -15, and the Seahawks bared their chests in eight-degree weather or less.

Unfortunately, as soon as people were hyping the Seahawks up, Twitter was full of memes of their fumbles during the game as well. However, some were genuinely in jest, but the spectrum between butt-hurt fans and haters was narrow. “Never been more obvious the NFL does not want the Seahawks to succeed,” one user wrote.

“This drive is DK’s fault,” another stated. “Dumb hold on an 18 yard run. Don’t know what is wrong with him, all he does is make dumb mistakes.”

What do you think of the Seahawks’ powerful statement against the Chiefs? Let us know in the comments and check out some more reactions to their shirtless warm-up down below. Also, as always, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest in NFL news, viral moments, and cold, cold games.

Ty Dolla $ign Shares Scary Video Of Skateboarding Accident That Hospitalized Him

When it comes to new music, Ty Dolla $ign has had a relatively quiet year.

However, at this point in his career, the L.A. native doesn’t need to drop music at an alarming rate to stay relevant. He’s already solidified himself as a mainstay in the pop/R&B landscape and is at his best when collaborating with various other artists.

Late last month, the “Or Nah” singer shared a shocking photo of himself in a hospital bed while providing no context to his injuries. Of course, fans and fellow artists were alarmed by the cryptic post.

The following day, however, he explained the situation through an Instagram Story. “They just let me out. Had a skating accident and was knocked out for a few but I’m back praise God[.] Thanks to everyone that prayed for me and showed love. I love you more,” he wrote.

“Thanks @dashawnjordan, @bolajibam for holding it down and getting me to the ER and my princess @jailynncrystal for being there with me the whole time[.] I love you so much,” the 40-year-old continued in his message.

Just yesterday, the “Or Nah” singer took to his Instagram account to this time, share footage of the scary incident that left him hospitalized. The video shows a horrific scene in which Dolla $ign hits his head off the pavement without wearing a helmet.

“Just watching this sh*t gave me a headache again[.] Happy holidays everyone and keep pushing your friends to the next level. Never give up. I’ll be back at the park once the doctor says I’m good and I’ll [wear] a helmet next time I promise. know I know even Tony [Hawk wears] a helmet,” the caption reads.

Later in the clip, it shows him performing on stage allegedly five hours after he was in the hospital.

It’s certainly good news that the 40-year-old has recovered and provided us with the update.

One of the most note-worthy of only a few releases that Dolla $ign was part of this year was his collab track with Kid Cudi, “Willing To Trust.” The song serves as a single to Cudi’s Entergalactic album and accompanies the “Mr. Rager” artist’s animated Netflix series of the same name.
