Angel Reese And Flau’jae Johnson’s Parents Feud Amid LSU Drama

The parents of Angel Reese and Flau’jae Johnson have begun beefing online as drama grips the LSU women’s basketball team. “You definitely know about grammar errors when your daughter got a 2.0 or less GPA,” one post aimed at Reese read. Furthermore, graduated Tigers Alexis Morris and Jasmine Carson also weighed in on the current situation. Morris said that the team better not be “falling apart without her” after they “switched up to gang up on me”. Meanwhile, Carson warned “y’all better hope I don’t say nothing.”

Reese was completely absent from LSU’s road trip to Southeastern Louisiana, with head coach Kim Mulkey refusing to answer questions on where Reese was. The Tigers won out 73-50 over the Lions, who are ranked #168 in the nation according to the latest NET rankings. Johnson, playing off the bench, had a double-double with a game-high 17 points.

What Is Going On At LSU?

LSU appeared to have buckled under the pressure that comes with being the defending national champions. They lost their season-opener to then #20 Colorado, one of the few truly competitive games on their non-conference slate. While they have quickly improved to 4-1 with wins over Queens, Mississippi Valley State, Kent State, and Southeastern Louisiana, all is not well within the Tigers camp.

However, head coach Kim Mulkey benched Reese for the entire second half against Kent State, calling it a “coach’s decision”. Then, just days later, Reese was off the team sheet entirely. As mentioned, Mulkey refused to say much about why Reese was away from the team. “Angel was not in uniform. Angel is a part of this basketball team, and we hope to see her sooner than later,” Mulkey said matter-of-factly. However, Reese wasn’t just out of uniform. It appeared that she had not made the 50-mile journey to Hammond at all. The Tigers return home on Monday to face Texas Southern. The game is the start of a six-game homestand that includes #9 Virginia Tech. It remains to be seen when Reese will return to the lineup.

Drake Provides Hilarious Commentary For Raptors-Celtics Game: Watch

Drake got the opportunity to provide some color commentary for his beloved Raptors as he joined the broadcast booth for the team’s in-season tournament game against the Celtics. Drake’s highlights included poking fun at some of the Celtics’ bench players getting minutes in a close game. “Payton Pritchard’s out there looking like a crypto scammer,” Drake trolled as the rest of the broadcast team barely restrained their laughter. Pritchard, Boston’s 2020 first-round pick, put up 5-3-3 in 17 minutes against the Raptors.

However, Drake was likely the only one having fun in the Raptors fandom. While the Raptors kept it close, they were unable to topple the white-hot Celtics. Boston locked it down defensively in the final moments of the game and escaped with a 108-105 victory to improve to 10-2 on the season. Meanwhile, the Raptors fell to 5-7, dropping their second game in a row.

Drake Breaks Tour Income Milestone

Meanwhile, Drake has had a massive week. He dropped Scary Hours 3, a surprise EP that, much like For All The Dogs, appeared to fuel a lot of beef. He also announced that he would be touring with J. Cole in 2024. The Cole collab will serve as an extension of this year’s It’s All a Blur Tour and will operate as the Big As The What? Tour.

However, speaking of It’s All a Blur, Drake also set a new record this week. Even with less than half of the tour dates’ revenue reported, the tour is already the highest-grossing rap tour in history. The previous benchmark was set by Kendrick Lamar’s 2022 The Big Steppers Tour. Furthermore, it remains to be seen where the new benchmark will eventually be set. As mentioned, the figure of $129.1M comes from just 30 of the tour’s 72 concerts. While it may be the best rap tour ever, it remains to be seen where it lines up with 2023 tours overall. Beyonce and Taylor Swift both hit the tour circuit this year too. Furthermore, both megastars are also likely to expect some astronomical revenue figures as well.

OnlyFans Model Danii Banks Speaks On Viral Raiders Flashing Incident

OnlyFans model Danii Banks has broken her silence on being removed from a Raiders game last weekend after being caught flashing her breasts. Banks acknowledged why her post, which she published in censored form on her public social media, received so much negative attention. However, she pushed back against the hate. She stated that she was confident no children had been inadvertently exposed to her topless foray. Banks claimed that she was in an adult-only section of Allegiant Stadium. Furthermore, she claimed that the only people who took issue with what she did was event security.

Despite this, Banks did offer an apology to any parents whose children did end up seeing her breasts. Furthermore, Banks explained that the incident came about as a result of some good-natured banter with a nearby bachelor party. Additionally, Banks noted that she had received “thousands” of new sign-ups to her Only Fans after news of the incident broke.

OnlyFans Boxer Refutes Claims Of Flashing Ban

However, Banks isn’t the only OnlyFans star who has faced consequences for flashing an unsuspecting audience this year. Back in July, Daniella Hemsley caused a stir on social media after appearing to flash her breasts after winning a fight at a Kingpyn Boxing event in Dublin. The promotion subsequently released a statement apologizing for the incident. Furthermore, Kingpyn stated that Hemsley would not participate in the finals of the event. Additionally, the statement said Hemsley would be “taking some time away from boxing.” To many, this appeared to suggest that Kingpyn had barred Hemsley because of her post-fight stunt.

Despite this, Hemsley denied that she had been “banned” for flashing. “After my fight, [I] came out, got into the medical room and I’m being checked out by the doctor. He’s doing the eye checks, the everything checks, and he’s taking my wraps off on my hands. And I said to him, ‘I think I’ve broken my thumb.’ I literally even now I can like barely move it and I think I’ve also broken my elbow. I literally can’t straighten it. Which brings me on to say, there is a lot of speculation in the media at the moment about me being banned. I am not banned from Kingpyn, I have simply decided to take a few weeks off from training. [This is in order] to recover my body. I plan on coming back fighting again hopefully in the winter.”

Logan Paul’s Boxing Retirement Disputed By Brother Jake

Jake Paul has disputed his brother Logan’s seeming retirement from boxing. “I don’t believe that. I don’t know when he’ll fight but he’s just got so much fight in him and he’s going into his athletic prime. I think he’s going to fight again for sure,” Jake told The MMA Hour.

Logan announced his retirement earlier this week during an interview on Fox. “Yeah, I think I’ve retired from boxing. I think I’ve done enough in the sport, going fully undefeated at 25-0. So yeah, I’m gonna be a wrestler now. No more money in boxing. Every company is going broke, so [I’m] a full-time wrestler,” Logan told the show. It echoes comments that Logan made after he won the WWE US Championship. “I think I have to,” Paul said of spending more time on WWE programming. “You’re going to have to watch Raw. You’re going to have to watch SmackDown. I’m going to make some surprise appearances and show these wrestlers who’s the real king,” Paul told ESPN.

Jake Paul Praised For Expanding Boxing’s Audience

Meanwhile, boxing legend and Olympic gold medalist Andre Ward gave high praise for Jake Paul during a recent interview on TMZ. “I don’t hate on it. The crossover stuff like what Jake Paul, Logan [Paul]is doing, [Francis] Ngannou just did, I respect it. That takes a lot of courage, takes a lot of heart. It actually brings a new audience, more eyeballs,” Ward said, “and if the fanbase follows them over to boxing, then more power to ’em. I’m a fan of it, I appreciate it and I watch it.” Ward said. Furthermore, he noted that he would be open to taking on one of the Paul Brothers in an exhibition fight.

The rise of non-traditional boxing has been a mixed bag. Jake Paul has talent but little desire to fight actual boxers. Logan is more interested in pursuing his wrestling career than in boxing. Furthermore, both his fight with Dillon Danis and KSI’s fight with Tommy Fury was referred to as a “disgrace to boxing”. However, then you have Francis Ngannou giving Tyson Fury “the toughest fight in a decade” and even receiving a WBC ranking out of it.

‘The View’s Joy Behar Called Travis Kelce ‘Illiterate’ And Hopes Taylor Swift Won’t Be ‘Stuck With This Idiot’

Joy Behar did not hold back her thoughts on The View as the panel recently unearthed tweets from Travis Kelce that showed the NFL star expressing some immature thoughts about women during his college career. As a self-avowed Swiftie, Behar became immediately concerned for Taylor Swift and got very blunt that she hopes the pop sensation breaks up with Kelce.

Via Page Six:

“Here’s one of his [tweets], ‘Damn, the Clippers girls gotta be the girls that don’t make the Lakers team ’cause they was all ugly,’” Behar read during Thursday’s episode of the talk show.

She then read two more of his old tweets: “Why can’t girls hide they back fat?” and “I feel like if you want to be a cheerleader, you have to pass a beauty test. There’s too many ugly cheerleaders out here.”

Behar did not hide her disgust with Kelce’s old tweets and called him “illiterate.” However, Whoopi Goldberg came to Kelce’s defense.

“Young people do young people stuff,” Goldberg said. “What you said 25 years ago, may not be the way that you feel this time. So everybody needs to lighten up and let these people do what they want to do.”

When Goldberg pressed Behar on why she was so “fixated” on Kelce’s social media posts, The View co-host affirmed her Taylor Swift fandom.

“I’m a Swiftie,” Behar said. “I love her because she’s getting young people out to vote so I don’t want her to be stuck with this idiot.”

“Scary Hours 3” Does Not Feature Kevin De Bruyne As A Writer, Soccer Star Confirms

Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne is not the same “K. De Bruyne” that appears as a producer on “Wick Man” from Drake’s new Scary Hours 3. The Belgian international took to social media to initially joke about the moment before confirming that it was someone else. “Drake needed an assist,” De Bruyne said on X before adding “All jokes aside, it’s not me! Huge fan though!”. Furthermore, De Bruyne appeared to post a picture of himself with Drake taken several years ago. However, it’s nice to see De Bruyne getting into the spirit of the fan hysteria.

Fans had expressed mass confusion after seeing the credit on the new EP. However, with no other names to connect it to, fans just assumed that the midfielder had done a surprise collab with Drake. “Even when he’s not playing, he still assists,” one fan noted on social media. It’s currently unknown who the actual K. De Bruyne who appears on the album is.

De Bruyne Still Recovering From Injury

It’s been a rough couple of seasons for De Bruyne, who has been dealing with a recurring hamstring injury. He was ruled out of most of City’s 2023/24 campaign after aggravating the injury in the team’s season opener against Burnley. Ruled out for four to five months, De Bruyne is not expected to return until January at the earliest. In the meantime, City find themselves at the top of the Premier League, with 29 points from 12 games. Liverpool is just one point behind them. However, City are likely hoping that De Bruyne can return for some key games in January, such as a matchup with Newcastle on the 13th.

However, it’s been a busy day of news in the Premier League. Everton was deducted 10 points for financial violations, dropping them from 14 points to 4 points. Furthermore, this meant the Liverpool-based side fell from 14th to 19th in the league table. It is the largest points deduction to occur in the history of the Premier League, which was formalized in 1992.

Russell Westbrook Benches Himself As Clippers Keep Losing

Russell Westbrook has asked the Clippers coaching staff to transition him to a bench role amid the team’s current losing streak. The Clippers have lost their last six games, including James Harden’s first five with the team. Despite LA being Harden’s only acceptable trade destination, the team has struggled to integrate him effectively. While Harden is an elite scoring and passing threat, he does not surpass the 1-2 tandem of Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. Furthermore, Harden’s stagnant off-ball play as become all the more obvious since joining the Clips.

According to sources who spoke with Bleacher Report, Westbrook requested the move in an attempt to allow the first team unit to develop more cohesion. It will allow the recently recovered Terance Mann to play a more impactful cleanup role alongside Harden, George, and Leonard. As a result, Westbrook can bring a bigger veteran leadership role to the second unit and help open the floor up more while Harden and Leonard aren’t there.

Paul George Gets $35K Fine

However, problems continue to compound for the Clippers. Paul George was recently handed a $35,000 fine for criticizing the officiating team after a recent loss to the Nuggets. “I thought we played great. It’s tough, the adversity of playing against the extra three. I thought they were awful but, the defending champs, we’ve got to play better. So many times I got hit on layups, 3-pointers. It was constant. Jump shots, getting hit, smacked on the forearm. It was a poor job,” George said after the loss.

Furthermore, the league noted that the size of Paul’s fine was due to his history of publicly criticizing the league’s officials. Meanwhile, the 3-7 Clippers have a tough slate to end the month. Their remaining November games include the in-form Rockets as well as the Pelicans, Mavs, Nuggets, and Kings. Furthermore, they will also have to face the Spurs and Warriors. The Clippers’ last win was a 118-102 victory against the Orlando Magic on Halloween. They were 3-1 at that time.

Iowa Stunned By Kansas State, Third Top-5 Team To Lose This Season

The #2 Iowa Hawkeyes were stunned by unranked Kansas State for the second season in a row on Thursday night. The Wildcats, behind star senior Ayoka Lee, rode a massive fourth quarter to beat Caitlin Clarke and the Hawkeyes 65-58. Clark, the heart and soul of Iowa, had a terrible night, shooting 9-for-32 and just 2-for-16 from three. The result snapped Iowa’s three-game win streak to the season, which included a win over then #8 Virginia Tech. On the opposite side of the court, the win pushed Kansas State to their own 3-0 start.

However, Iowa’s win also marked the third loss by a top-five team in the first two weeks of the season. Last week, preseason #1 LSU was stunned by then #20 Colorado. Just a few days later, preseason #2 UConn was upset by then-unranked North Carolina State. Now Iowa, last season’s national runner-up, has joined the list of early upsets. They weren’t the only ranked team to lose, with #22 Creighton seeing a late rally fall short against Green Bay. Meanwhile, #1 South Carolina, who jumped to the top of the AP Poll after the LSU and UConn results, continued their strong roll, The Gamecocks dominated Clemson 109-40, marking South Carolina’s third consecutive 100-point game. Last season, the Gamecocks only hit triple digits twice in 37 games.

Clark Says “Lots Of Lessons” To Be Taken From Kansas State Loss

Clark was blunt about her performance after the game. “It’s certainly one we can learn from and probably taught us a lot of lessons of how we can get better. We need more people to be able to contribute, and that’s on me to get them involved in the game. Especially on nights where I might not shoot the ball as great. Rely on my teammates, get them open, get them a clean look,” Clark said.

Iowa will likely drop out of the top five come the next AP Poll on Monday – LSU and UConn dropped to #7 and #8 after their respective losses last week. The Hawkeyes have two more games this month, hosting Drake and Purdue Fort Wayne. Drake is ranked #51 in NET ranking, while Purdue Fort Wayne sits at #243. However, Iowa is unlikely to face another ranked team until they play Indiana on January 13. Indiana were #9 in the preseason poll but fell to #13 following a loss to Stanford.

Shakur Stevenson’s Lacklustre Title Fight Blasted By Devin Haney And Ryan Garcia

Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia both took shots at Shakur Stevenson after Stevenson eeked out a win in his lightweight title fight versus Edwin De Los Santos. “Stop that scared narrative … nobody was ever scared of that bum!” Haney wrote on X. “Imagine going to this fight for Formula 1 weekend, I would ask for my money back and go straight to bed, that’s how sleepy I’d be from being there,” Garcia wrote on his own account. Both men have feuded with Stevenson over the course of 2023 and are each viewed as a future opponent for him.

However, even Stevenson was critical of his performance. “I had a bad performance tonight. That’s all I’m really focused on. I wasn’t feeling too good, so I’ll live with it. It’s OK. I didn’t feel good before the fight. Honestly, I had already told myself that if I feel like this in the ring and if it’s not going well, I’m going to make sure that I box and get the victory. I don’t make excuses. It happens. We go through a lot as fighters,” Stevenson told ESPN.

What’s Next For Stevenson?

Most pundits agree that Stevenson’s next fight needs to be a show-stopper if he doesn’t want his rise to plateau. Emanuel Navarrete could be a potential fight, with the 38-1-1 slugger being the offense-heavy fighter Stevenson needs. However, Navarrete was held to a draw in his own Thursday night bout, likely meaning he will be tied to a rematch against Robson Conceicao. There is also William Zepeda, the undefeated Golden Boy product who routinely throws 1000+ punches a night. Pitting Stevenson against such a volume-heavy fight would be the perfect TV spectacle.

Furthermore, Haney and Garcia still remain as potential foes. However, Haney is due to move to super lightweight to challenge Regis Prograis next month. Meanwhile, Garcia has been tapped for a bout against Oscar Duarte. Furthermore, Stevenson has likely lost the star power needed to book either of them for a fight until he is able to show that he can go toe to toe with someone at the highest levels of the sport in an entertaining fashion.

Travis Kelce Deletes Old Tweets After Backlash

Travis Kelce has deleted a number of old social media posts made around 2010 and 2011. The move came after Kelce received backlash over their sentiment. Many Taylor Swift fans found a new love for Kelce over his error-ridden posts about squirrels and Chipotle. However, several of Kelce’s posts were less wholesome in nature. Of the posts deleted, many expressed a visceral disdain for fat women. Others appeared to express homophobic sentiments. Kelce has not released a statement about the deleted tweets.

However, the disappearance of the tweets was perceived as validation by some vocal minority groups within the Taylor Swift fandom. Whether it was the Gaylors or those, like Dave Portnoy, who simply don’t like Kelce, the tweets were proof that Kelce was a bad person and doesn’t deserve Swift. Despite this, others have lamented the deleting of some of the less egregious tweets.

Kelce And Swift’s Parents Expected To Meet Next Week

However, not only will this week’s Monday Night Football game see Travis Kelce face off against his brother, but his parents are also expected to meet the parents of Taylor Swift. While plans aren’t fully confirmed, Andrea and Scott Swift are expected to share a luxury box with Donna and Ed Kelce, according to ET. Taylor’s father is reportedly a massive Eagles fan, although Travis claims to have converted him to the Chiefs fandom. This reportedly happened when he meet Swift and her father for dinner in Buenos Aires last weekend.

This claim, made on the Kelce Brothers’ podcast, New Heights, prompted Jason to shoot Scott Swift a DM. “What are we doing, Scott? You’re gonna let this man’s devilish good looks and relationship with your daughter sway you from a lifetime of fandom, Scott? Ridiculous,” Jason’s message to Swift read. However, it’s unclear if Taylor herself will be in attendance. She is due to perform in Rio de Janeiro for the three nights preceding the game. However, much like Kelce did to come see her in Argentina, she might pull a marathon trip to make the game.
