Cam’ron Makes On-Air Apology To Ben Simmons

Cam’ron used a recent episode of It Is What It Is to apologize to Ben Simmons. The rapper and show host had previously insinuated that he and Simmons and had gotten involved in an altercation backstage during a Nets game. Cam’ron clarified that he misrepresented the situation and that he was sorry for doing that.

However, reaction to the apology was split. Many social media users were surprised that Cam’ron even had the capacity to apologize. This is given his history of verbose and unapologetic statements live on air. After all, this is the same man that responded to divorce drama by asking about the wife’s cleavage and then getting a message from her. However, the other set of responses were more expressing their surprise that Cam’ron had taken things as far as he had in the first place.

Of course, it’s been a rough recent period of Cam’ron in terms of backlash. Recently, he and Mase continued their quest to uphold the gender binary. The pair laughed at Dwyane Wade’s painted nails so hard that they cried. Wade had painted his nails in the Heat’s signature colors as he attended a Hall of Fame ceremony and statue unveiling in Miami. However, this mundane act was enough to reduce the pair of 40-somethings to fits of tearful laughter. Ignoring Treasure Wilson’s reasoning that plenty of male celebrities now paint their nails, the rap duo went as far as to nonsensically compare Wade’s actions to “Michael Jordan modeling lingerie”.

However, there is just a little bit of hypocrisy going on from the pair. After all, Cam’ron himself has previously gotten very upset when people have implied he is “gay” because he famously wears pink. “You know how long I had to hear, ‘Cam’s gay, he wears pink’? Bring your mother around, n-gga. See if she gives a f-ck, n-gga. See if your mom gives a whole f-ck, n-gga. I’ll tell her how gay I am. I’ll f-ck her in the pink mink,” Cam’ron said on a July 2023 episode of It Is What It Is.

Basketball Wives and Real Housewives alum Draya Michele is facing “predator” accusations after rumors that she was pregnant emerged online. Michele is reportedly dating young Rockets star Jalen Green. For many social media users, the age gap is unacceptable, especially given that Michele’s eldest child is around the same age as Green. However, at this time, both their relationship and Michele’s pregnancy are just rumors and speculation. Michele recently celebrating her 39th birthday.

Despite the hate Michele was getting, many other users lamented the invasive nature of celebrity rumor culture. “In 2024 let’s normalize not being invested in what’s going on in stranger’s uteruses,” one person wrote in response to The Jasmine Brand‘s report. “So what if she’s pregnant by her boyfriend. However, part of the outrage beyond the age gap is Green’s apparent immaturity. In early 2023, a video went viral showing Green roughhousing with former teammate Josh Christopher. The short clip showed Christopher pinned below Green with his legs spread in the air. Green, situated between Christopher’s legs, vigorously trusted in a simulation of a sex act for a few seconds before rolling off Christopher. Both players are seen laughing as the video ends.

Meanwhile, Green took to Instagram in late May to troll Ja Morant. Green was on Live, driving and listening to NBA YoungBoy when fans started pointing out the similarities to then-recent Ja Morant gun-flashing scandal. “Everybody’s commenting, ‘Don’t pull no pistol out. They wildin’, my n-gga, man. I don’t got no gun,” Green was heard telling a passenger in the car.

Stern had been dismissive of Kelce, saying that the tight end would “have to marry Taylor Swift” in order to earn “a movie career to rival that of The Rock”. However, Smith vehemently disagreed. “He is a two-time Super Bowl champion, he’s on the verge of potentially being a three-time Super Bowl champion. It’s not the first time that such an argument has been made. The hosts of The View also discussed a similar issue in late 2023. They debated what they believed Travis Kelce was “hiding” about his relationship. “Some of the things he said raised some red flags for me. He said, ‘The biggest thing to me: Make sure I don’t say anything that would push Taylor away.’ What is he hiding then? She dismissed any notion that Kelce was looking to leave football to “live off” Swift.

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift has become the victim of NSFW AI deepfakes. Many of the images showed Swift in sexual situations with Travis Kelce, other Chiefs players, and even faceless masses of Chiefs fans. As a result, the singer’s fans got #PROTECTTAYLORSWIFT trending on social media in an attempted fight back against the images. Swifties began posting images of their notifications, full of messages about post reports that they had made. Swift herself has not commented on the incident. However, it is likely she was made aware of the disturbing images.

Furthermore, the incident sparked a wider conversation about the role of AI in pornography. Additionally, Swifties were able to identify the person they claimed was the primary perpetrator behind the wave of AI images. However, this also quickly became a meme as people began tagging random accounts and claiming they were the perpetrators of the trend. However, the viral nature of the images highlights a disturbing trend within the use of AI art, especially when weaponized against celebrities.

Antonio Brown & Chandler Jones To Start “CTESPN” Podcast

Antonio Brown has announced his intention to start a podcast with Chandler Jones called CTESPN. Brown then followed up the announcement with a series of inflammatory posts on X, formerly Twitter promoting some of the “features” of CTESPN. This included declaring a “Cracker of the Month” and musing on how the NFL was conspiring to get a ring. It’s unclear where the podcast will be airing or what the show’s full content will be like. However, given the personalities involved, it will certainly be one to watch out for. Given Brown’s early posts, it appears that he is trying to emulate the vibe of something like It Is What It Is.

Brown was seen linking up with Jones shortly before Jones was arrested late last year. At the time, Jones suggested the idea of doing a podcast with Brown. “We gotta sit down and have a Kumbaya…call it CTE podcast! I love you too!” Jones wrote on X after AB sent some love his way. This comes after Jones announced that he was taking a social media break to “hang with strippers” and that fans shouldn’t “check me on my well being, they [the strippers] got me.”

“20-year-old nephew” dates the photo to 1988, Sharpe’s penultimate season at Savannah State. In 1990, he would become an unheralded seventh-round pick by the Broncos. However, the rest is history. Sharpe would become one of the greatest tight ends in NFL history and one of the greatest Broncos of all time. He ended his career with three Super Bowl rings and was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2011.

While Sharpe might be in great shape, it appears that dance is not his forte. In July 2023, a video shared by The Neighborhood Talk appeared to show Sharpe at a cookout. In particular, the video showed Sharpe joining in a group dancing the electric slide. Vince McMahon Accused Of Trafficking & Sexual Assault By Former WWE Employee

Vince McMahon has been sued by a former WWE employee, who has accused the brand’s founder of sexual exploitation and trafficking. Janel Grant filed her suit in the US District of Connecticut. The suit names McMahon, the WWE, and former head of talent relations John Laurinaitis. Grant alleges that both men sexually assaulted her on WWE property and trafficked her to secure contracts with prospective talent.

Furthermore, McMahon allegedly “repeatedly used sex toys named after other WWE employees, wrestlers and performers to sexually groom Ms. Grant for trafficking to those same people,” according to the suit. The suit comes just days after the WWE, which McMahon resigned from in 2022 over claims of hush money to cover up sexual assault allegations, signed a blockbuster streaming deal with Netflix. The streaming giant will have exclusive broadcast rights to Monday Night RAW starting in 2025.

This was under the guise that Mr. McMahon would ‘protect her’ financially and reputationally, and pay her $3 million. However, Mr. McMahon later refused to make payments to Ms. Grant. He also falsely claimed that she had leaked information to the press.” Grant claims to have been paid $1 million in 2022 but received no payments after that. Furthermore, Grant claims that her abrupt dismissal came after Linda McMahon, Vince’s wife, found about his actions with Grant.

“Today’s complaint seeks to hold accountable two WWE executives who sexually assaulted and trafficked Plaintiff Janel Grant, as well as the organization that facilitated or turned a blind eye to the abuse and then swept it under the rug. She is an incredibly private and courageous person who has suffered deeply at the hands of Mr. McMahon and Mr. Laurinaitis. Ms. Grant hopes that her lawsuit will prevent other women from being victimized. The organization is well aware of Mr. McMahon’s history of depraved behavior. And it’s time that they take responsibility for the misconduct of its leadership,” Grant’s attorney said in a statement.

They have a light airy relationship, which ranges from Shaq giving Reese business advice to Reese roasting Shaq if he is ever spotted out with a woman. Additionally, Reese said she plans to have Shaq walk with her on Senior Day, an honor typically reserved for family members. Bucks In High Spirits After Doc Rivers Hire, Stars Surprised By Coaching Change

The team’s official social media account posted a pre-game video of the players joyfully dancing together on the court. This is in spite of the shock firing of first-year head coach Adrian Griffin earlier this week. Griffin was let go despite coaching the team to a 30-13 record, primarily over concerns about the team’s defensive efficiency.

In his place, the team hired Doc Rivers, poaching the veteran coach from ESPN. Rivers was the Bucks’ primary choice given his experience, availability, and history of coaching superstar tandems. Furthermore, Rivers has a strong history in Wisconsin. His jersey hangs in the rafters at Marquette University, where he was an All-American. Rivers’ first game with the team has not yet been confirmed.

As Charlamagne and DJ Envy wound down their interview with Newton, Envy mentioned that they would be happy to appear on Newton’s show “once we get our co-host”. This prompted Newton to ask what happened to Hilarious, who was named as a permanent co-host less than a month ago. Instead of answering, Charlamagne moved into thanking Newton for his time.

As a result, it’s still unclear what is going on at the popular radio show. Hilarious has been noticeably absent from the show for the past few days. Elsewhere, Newton recently revealed that there is one NFL he’d come to the league for – the Atlanta Falcons. “Me having a family now, it’s always been about family and I don’t see myself leaving Atlanta. Newton is originally from Atlanta but played college football in Florida and Alabama before being drafted by the Panthers.

Newton has not suited up in the NFL since 2021 when he briefly returned to the Carolina Panthers. Once seen as a generational talent, Newton’s career hit an ignominious end. A string of injuries limited Newton’s ability to harness his signature dual-threat capabilities. His 2021 campaign saw him go 0-5 as a starter as the Panthers rotated between Newton, Sam Darnold, and P.J. Walker. However, it’s unlikely that the Falcons, currently quarterbacked by second-year starter Desmond Ridder, will be offering Newto a contract. Harbaugh, who enjoyed a successful tenure in San Francisco that was marred with front-office clashes, also spoke on his excitement for the role. “The only job you start at the top is digging a hole, so we know we’ve got to earn our way. However, one element of Harbaugh taking over the Chargers that fans are most excited about is the development of Justin Herbert. The young quarterback, who signed a lengthy extension last offseason, is seen as an elite signal caller in the making. Throughout his coaching career, Harbaugh has been viewed as a “quarterback whisperer”. From Josh Johnson at San Diego to Andrew Luck at Stanford to Colin Kaepernick at the 49ers to J.J. McCarthy at Michigan, Harbaugh knows how to get the best out of his QB.

Herbert, entering his fifth year in the league in 2024, is still very much a diamond in the rough. He has an absolute cannon for an arm and excels in the pocket. However, Brandon Staley’s high-risk offense might not have been the best fit for him. He has yet to play a full season without double-digit interceptions. Despite this, pundits from RG3 to Dan Orlovsky believe that Harbaugh’s more methodical playcalling and QB development could turn Herbert into one of the league’s best.
