The song will land on his next highly-awaited studio album Knife And Fork. The reason why some people were so up in arms about it was because the artwork evoked one of the most inhumane events in the history of mankind.

As most music fans are aware, Kanye was dragged through the mud (deservedly so) for his derogatory statements. Those of which were directed at the Jewish community. Fans were jumping to conclusions that Skepta was in on the hate speech as well. However, the UK rapper hopped on Twitter to explain the meaning behind his artistic direction.

Lil Nas X Gets Introspective On “Where Do We Go Now?”

Throughout Lil Nas X’s career, the songs that have helped him blow up are his blockbuster bangers. Go figure though right? But, one of the more underrated talents he possesses is the ability to write thought-provoking tracks. That is what he is bringing to the table this week with “Where Do We Go Now?” This is Nas X’s second single in two weeks. The reason why this one is out so quickly is that his documentary is dropping tomorrow.

This single will be able to be heard in Lil Nas X: Long Live Montero. The Georgia native is showing fans what it was like during the first world tour of his still-young journey in music. His film will be out on Max and HBO on January 27 at 8 p.m. Since we know that this is a song that accompanies this project, it will be interesting to see if his next tape will be a soundtrack.

Blxst Highlights His Standout Voice And Storytelling On “Heart Ain’t Empty”

Blxst is one of the more versatile artists from the West Coast. He provides the ability to hit you with a banger, bouncy L.A. jams, or more emotional cuts. The latter is what he is delivering on his latest single, “Heart Ain’t Empty.” This is Blxst’s solo single since “21 Questions” as a part of Juneteenth. 2023 was a heavy year for collaborations the singer and rapper.

He and Bino Rideaux made their Sixtape series into a trilogy with a six-track EP back in September. Blxst also worked with Larry June and Cardo on “Without You” which you can find on Larry’s project The Night Shift. As we mentioned, Blxst decided to go with a deeper type of song for this newest offering and he delivers tenfold. The production is an afterthought, but not in a bad way.

It takes a backseat to allow the listener to really dial into what the Califonia artist is talking about. He buries deep and unearths the lost relationships that have been weighing on him. From the lyrics, it sounds like he is referring to his late friend Gello. In the second, he speaks about the strength of his sister who has lost so much in her life. She is an inspiration for Blxst to keep going and come through with new material, which it sounds like he is working on. However, it sounds like it is hard for him to do so with these worries he has. “Loadin’ up the cart, retail therapy / I ain’t takin’ care of me, I’m eatin’, well barely / Workin’ on my album, how? That is exciting to hear Vezzo say this. It has been a little over a year since Vezzo’s last project. It was a collaboration with legendary DJs Gangsta Grillz and Drama. That came through on December 9, 2022, and featured heavy hitters such as Future, Jerzy, Kodak Black, 2 Chainz, and more. Vezzo’s fans are certainly pushing him to get this album out ASAP because they are running up the streams on “Pouring Wok.”
