Boosie Badazz Challenges Snoop Dogg & Wiz Khalifa To A Smoke-Out

There have been several discussions over the years of hosting a smoke-off among rap’s most enthusiastic stoners including Boosie Badazz. Though several individuals have presented challenges against hip-hop’s top smokers, nothing has necessarily materialized. Last year, Styles P called out Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, and B-Real, among others, to go joint-for-joint with him. “I could out-smoke Curren$y,” he said. “I can out-smoke Uncle Snoop, Curren$y, Bern and Wiz,” he continued, asserting himself as one of the leading smokers in rap.

Unfortunately, the actual Smoke Olympics didn’t materialize but there’s still hope. In fact, it seems as though others would be interested in joining this event, as well. Artists like Redman and Method Man remain cult-like figures in the world of weed while many of the younger MCs have also showcased their high tolerance.

Boosie Badazz Challenges Snoop & Wiz

The latest rapper to introduce a smoke-a-thon among his peers is Boosie Badazz. Though he isn’t necessarily considered a “weed rapper” like Berner or Snoop Dogg, he’s still an enthusiast. Most recently, Boosie hit Twitter where he issued a challenge to Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa specifically. The Louisiana native explained that he’s confident he could not only keep up but out smoke both of the rappers if he had an opportunity.

Boosie Badazz proposed that they broadcast the event for the world to see and laid down some ground rules. He said that he wanted them to bring their strongest weed to the table and go three rounds with different strains. “I WANNA DO A SMOKE OUT CHALLENGE WITH @wizkhalifa N @SnoopDogg let’s stream it for the world to see,” he wrote. “I THINK I CAN TAKE THEM… LET’S GO OG.” There’s no doubt that this would be one of the funniest live streams to take place if it were to happen.

So far, we haven’t heard from Snoop Dogg but Wiz Khalifa was quick to accept the challenge. However, he did ask for Boosie to provide the munchies while he’ll bring some of the finest weed available on the market, as well as some psychedelics. “Ima bring the extracts and my bong just make sure we got some food,” he wrote. “I might stay an extra dat and shroom wit u.”

Snoop Dogg’s Daughter Cori Broadus Opens Up About Recent Kidney Biopsy

Cori Broadus, the daughter of rapper Snoop Dogg, first opened up about her ongoing health issues last year. She revealed her lupus diagnosis and high blood pressure problems, which the 23-year-old had been dealing with since she was six. As a result, Cori has suffered from hair loss, and recently received a kidney biopsy to examine abnormalities, Hollywood Unlocked reports.

On Monday (February 20th), Cori took to Instagram to update her followers on her biopsy results. She shared a detailed notes page where she recounted what she learned during a phone call with her rheumatologist. The young singer was reassured that her treatment was at a mild stage three, revealing that the disease was reversible. But, her doctors have still enacted an aggressive treatment plan to be safe. Luckily, Broadus’ current stage implies that she won’t have to undergo chemotherapy (a route that would have been necessary in stage four). Instead, she’ll be put on Benlysta, an antibody that is used to treat Lupus.

Cori Shares Updates About Her Diagnosis

When Cori initially opened up about her lupus diagnosis, she briefly explained her experience with the autoimmune disease. “So my immune system is super weak. I [have] experienced hair loss, so my mom came home one day with a bunch of scarves, and we were playing in scarves and just trying them [in] different ways,” she wrote to her followers. Thankfully, her most recent biopsy surgery was conducted successfully, with just minor inflammation in the kidneys.

Although Cori has been battling this disease since her childhood, she hasn’t let health issues get in the way of building her career. The young entrepreneur is the CEO of CHOC Factory, which specializes in lip products, body care, and loungewear. Following in the footsteps of her iconic father, Cori has also dabbled in music and often posts cover videos and make-up tutorials on her YouTube page.

Cori’s Health Struggles Follow Her Recent Engagement

Aside from her health struggles, Broadus has also been keeping us up to date on her love life. The singer and her beau Wayne Duece began dating in 2018 and celebrated their engagement last November. At the time, Snoop Dogg even got in on the festivities and made it clear he approves of his future son-in-law.

Wayne, a creative director who often collaborates with his fiance’s brand, posted a stylish photo of the duo on January 8th, captioning it with “the beginning of forever.” While Cori may have had a rocky start to the year with her kidney biopsy, there’s still a lot for her to look forward to in 2023. Make sure to check out HNHH again later for updates on all things hip hop.

Snoop Dogg Catching Heat For Grocery Store Wine Promo During Black History Month

Snoop Dogg Hints New Album 'Make America Crip Again'

Snoop Dogg is one of, if not the most notable face in all of hip hop, and stays relatively controversy free. That is, until a recent promo for his 19 Crimes wine caught the attention of shoppers at a Georgia grocery store, some of whom called the promo “offensive.”

According to WSB-TV channel 2, shoppers of a Kroger in Peachtree City, GA were greeted to a life size cut out of Snoop promoting his 19 Crimes wine. The cut out also came with bottles of the wine. However, it was not the promo itself that caused frustration among some of the shoppers, it was the placement. Next to the promo was a display that read messages like “Dream Like Martin” and “Say it loud, ‘I’m Black and I’m proud.’”

Shoppers voiced their frustration because they thought that the message was a “slap in the face” during Black History Month.

“I just felt that it was offensive,” Johnnie Jones, a former president of the Peachtree City NAACP said. “They really promoting alcohol. Proud of drinking wine? No. We’re proud of the Tuskegee Airmen whose shoulders I stand on.”

“It’s very negative,” another customer said. “They’re really promoting alcohol.”

Snoop Dogg & Kroger Slammed For Wine Promotion During Black History Month

Snoop Dogg faces criticism online for his promotion of his wine brand 19 Crimes at a local Kroger during Black History Month. Moreover, the small town grocery store featured promotional posters and messages that many found particularly insensitive. According to WSB-TV Channel 2, patrons at a Kroger on Peachtree Parkway in Peachtree City, Georgia are not happy with the promo stunts. There’s a life size cutout of Snoop promoting 19 Crimes, and next to it is the bulletin board that caught people’s ire. For example, its featured phrases like “Dream Like Martin” and “Say it loud, I’m Black and proud” struck many as a slap in the face.

Furthermore, the promotional posters stood next to bottles of bubbly from Dogg’s label and also Black Girl Magic Wine. Even if they were selling a million bucks for a dollar, people didn’t take kindly to the messages. “I just felt that it was offensive,” former president of the local NAACP Johnnie Jones told WSB-TV Chanel 2. “They really promoting alcohol. Proud of drinking wine? No. We’re proud of the Tuskegee Airmen whose shoulders I stand on.”

Kroger Customers Weigh In On Snoop Dogg’s Wine Promotion

Also, he said the store should honor leaders like Atlanta’s first Black Mayor or the first Black Mayor of Fayetteville. “We need to be thirsty for knowledge,” he added. In addition, other customers chimed in on the signs in the report. “It’s very negative,” added Michael Drummond. What’s more is that some defended them and didn’t see a problem with them. “I didn’t think there was anything wrong with showing a display of Snoop,” customer Pam Lewis shared. “I mean, if you want to drink wine whether it’s Black History Month or not it shouldn’t really make any difference.”

Meanwhile, after the backlash, store managers immediately pulled the promotion. Kroger’s corporate offices stated, “Kroger is committed to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in all we do. Our intentions are never meant to be offensive.” Still, neither the Long Beach legend nor his team responded to this as of yet. Regardless of your take, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest on Snoop Dogg.

TikTok’s SoundOn Partners with Snoop Dogg to Bring Death Row Catalog Exclusively to TikTok

DeathRow TikTok SoundOn 1

Snoop Dogg and Death Row Records have teamed up with TikTok’s SoundOn to exclusively provide the legendary Death Row library to the TikTok audience for one week before its DSP release.

It has been a year since the storied catalog was accessible. SoundOn, TikTok’s all-in-one artist platform for music distribution, development, and promotion, will distribute the catalog in this groundbreaking collaboration.

Your favorite creators can now use the label’s well-known tracks, such as “Gin and Juice” and “Ain’t No Fun,” as the soundtrack to their most recent dance, dish, or narrative. The venerable studio albums Doggystyle and The Doggfather by Snoop Dogg are included in the recently made catalog. Via the TikTok Sounds Page, creators will also have access to a special playlist that was put together in collaboration with Death Row Records.

“I’m excited for y’all, because Death Row Records is back up for you to enjoy. You can go get that playlist right now and you can listen to any song you want off the catalogue strictly on TikTok… Tell ’em Snoop Dogg sent you.”

Snoop Dogg & TikTok Partner For The Return Of Death Row’s Catalog

Just before the Super Bowl in 2022, Snoop Dogg revealed some major news – he acquired Death Row. The Long Beach rapper ushered in a new era for the iconic rap label with hopes to bring it into the digital space. He expressed interest in creating a label in the Metaverse. Throughout the past year, his efforts in the NFT space have been well-documented. However, the rapper also made a few decisions in recent times that have ruffled feathers. He previously removed the catalog from DSPs and left fans without projects like Dogg Pound’s Dogg Food.

In response to removing the catalog, Snoop Dogg explained that he wanted to create his own streaming platform. “First thing I did was snatch all the music off those platforms traditionally known to people because those platforms don’t pay,” Snoop explained on Drink Champs. “And those platforms get millions and millions of streams, and nobody gets paid other than the record labels.” Fortunately, the move became a temporary one and fans will soon have access to their favorite projects from Death Row.

Snoop Dogg & TikTok’s SoundOn Partner For The Return Of Death Row’s Catalog

Per TMZ, Snoop Dogg teamed up with TikTok’s music arm, SoundOn, to bring the Death Row catalog back online. His initial plans to launch his own streaming service aren’t in motion anymore. However, fans will be able to listen to the Death Row catalog on TikTok. Snoop and TikTok teamed up to create a custom Death Row playlist, which will be available prior to beloved albums — like Snoop Dogg’s Doggystyle and 2Pac’s All Eyez On Me – returning to DSPs.

Snoop explained that people ask him daily when the catalog will head to streaming services again, which prompted his recent move with TikTok. “As the Super Bowl rolled around, I knew fans would be looking for the music from our iconic performance in 2022, so I wanted to reintroduce the most historic catalog to the people. I reached out to the folks at TikTok to make more history … enjoy ya’ll,” he said. Are you excited about the return of the Death Row catalog? Let us know in the comment section below.

Martha Stewart Took Her Relationship With Snoop Dogg One Step Further With An Apparent Tattoo Of Him

Today is a great day for any Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg relationship truthers out there. While the duo has been longtime friends, they’ve also frequently fielded rumors about the boundary of it. And, considering Stewart showed off some apparent new ink of the West Coast rapper’s image, it likely won’t die down anytime soon.

That’s right. Stewart seemingly has a portrait of Snoop Dogg on her arm — and his name right beneath reading “My Dogg,” just in case anyone forgets who he is.

“My Dogg!” Stewart captioned the photo on Instagram. “Thanks for the amazing tattoo @scottcampbell. Forever linked in ink to my favorite @snoopdogg.”

“I got to tattoo a legend onto a legend,” Campbell, the tattoo artist, captioned his own Instagram post. “Thanks @marthastewart48 and @snoopdogg. I can retire now.”

Most of the internet believe it’s simply an elaborate bit, as it is part of a Skechers Super Bowl commercial — but there is a small chance that she actually got inked for the spot.

“Martha Stewart getting a tattoo of Snoop Dog is the last thing I expected to read about today but damn do I love it,” one Twitter user wrote.
