A week after Kelce’s hosting debut, Jenna Ortega will also mark her hosting debut on March 11. Ortega’s appearance occurs the same weekend her film Scream VI will release in theaters. She’s also promoting the hit Netflix series Wednesday just prior to the Emmys. During the SNL episode, The 1975 will return for the second time as a musical guest. The band will come to the show promoting their tour and album, Being Funny in a Foreign Language.

Michael B. Jordan Explains What He Learned From Lori Harvey Breakup

He touched on the end of his high-profile relationship on Saturday Night Live, but Michael B. Jordan is addressing it once again. Last summer, Lori Harvey and Jordan announced their split after a year of dating. They kept their romance under wraps, aside from the occasional social media post, but Jordan is speaking on what life has been like as a single man once again.

“I mean, I think for me, it’s just I was lucky enough to have a lot of work, you know?” Jordan told Gayle King for CBS Mornings. “And I’m a firm believer of what’s for you is for you. And coming out of that situation—not to give it any energy and kinda move from that is—it was an experience for me to grow and learn.”

Additionally, it doesn’t look like he’s pining over his ex. “I’m in my light right now,” he added. “This is my Jordan year. I mean that. This is my year. There’s so much going on—so many blessings, so many great things. This is at a point in my career where there’s not a lot of people telling me no, and everything’s wide open.”

While hosting Saturday Night Live last month, Jordan joked about the split during his opening monologue. “Most people after a breakup are like, ‘I’m gonna get in better shape.’ But I was already in Creed shape,” he teased. “So, I had to be like, ‘All right, I guess I’ll learn a new language.’ Anyway, estoy en Raya.”

Gayle King addressed the Raya mention during her chat with the movie star. Jordan admitted he was just kidding about being on the exclusive, celebrity dating app. However, King did offer to be his matchmaker. Jordan seemed open. “Send ’em my way,” he replied.

Pedro Pascal Jokes About FIlming “The Last of Us” During “SNL” Monologue

Pedro Pascal opened Saturday Night Live, over the weekend, with a monologue in which he joked about his highly successful HBO series, The Last of Us. The series is based on a video game for PlayStation of the same name.

“I spent the last year shooting The Last of Us on HBO,” he said to the live audience. “For some, HBO shows you get to shoot in five-star Italian resorts surrounded by beautiful people. But I said, ‘No, that’s too easy.’ I want to shoot in a freezing Canadian forest while being chased around by a guy whose head looks like a genital wart.” Pascal was likely referencing HBO’s other popular series, The White Lotus. Season 2 of the show, which just finished airing in December, took place at a water-side resort in Italy.

From there, Pascal spoke about the “honor” it is to star in so many wildly popular film and television franchises. He starred in Game of Thrones, Star Wars, and now The Last of Us. For Star Wars, Pascal currently stars in the Disney+ series, The Mandalorian. Season 3 of the show is dropping on March 1. As for Game of Thrones, Pascal played Oberyn Martell in Season 4.

Pascal previously discussed his appearance on SNL during an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. At the time, Pascal admitted he is afraid to host the legendary show.

“I think it’s the top at everybody’s bucket list, I am scared,” Pascal said. There’s like a wall of sheer terror I think that you start with, and then it’s such a well-oiled machine, everybody’s so amazing and talented, and they take these, you know, blocks of white-hot terror apart for you with big cue cards.”

Lil Baby Gives His Mom An Adorable Shoutout On “SNL”

He made his Saturday Night Live solo debut over the weekend, and people can’t stop talking about Lil Baby. The Georgia rapper has only reached new heights as his career progresses. After having one monumental year after another, it’s hard to believe this was his first time flying solo on the longstanding sketch comedy series.

Although his performances of “California Breeze” and “Forever” were his highlights, Baby’s reactions during the closing credits were what went viral.

As they usually do, SNL brought out the cast along with host Michael B. Jordan. Lil Baby was seen with a wide grin on his face as he enjoyed his appearance on the show. He threw up several peace signs to the camera and the cast behind him.

At one point, he made sure to make a certain family member feel extra special as he mouthed, “Hi, mom!”

Even Jordan took a moment to smile and laugh with Baby as they closed out another successful episode.

Meanwhile, La La Anthony recently had some kind words to say about the rapper. She and her BMF co-star Da’Vinchi visited The Jason Lee Show, where Anthony revealed Baby did some volunteer work for her prison reform group.

They had an outreach at Rikers Island, and on the day his last album dropped, Baby curved initial celebrations to attend the event with Anthony. While there, he gave words of encouragement, and La La admired him for his participation.

Michael B. Jordan Jokes about Lori Harvey Breakup on SNL Monologue

Michael B Jordan on SNL

Breakups can be hard, but sometimes they can also be funny. Michael B. Jordan took to SNL this weekend (where he was joined by Lil Baby as a musical guest) to poke fun at the breakup- and himself.

The Creed actor and director cracked jokes about how his breakup with Harvey was his first public breakup (the two ended things in June of 2022). He joked that while most people get in shape after a breakup, he was already in peak physical condition from shooting Creed, to which he responded, “So I had to be like, ‘All right, I guess I’ll learn a new language,’” following up with, “estoy en Raya!” in heavily English-accented Spanish.

He appeared to take a few subtle jabs at Harvey by parading out four female cast members including Chloe Fineman, Heidi Gardner, Punkie Johnson, and Ego Nwodim, who all fawned over the star with Nwodim going so far as to rock a wedding dress.

He then noted that he didn’t have to worry about the internet finding many sad images of him online thanks to the famous “sad Michael Jordan” meme.

He also shared a throwback clip of himself at age 16 when he made his soap opera debut, joking about his “howling scene.”

The full opening monologue can be seen below.

He also appeared in skits mocking Southwest Airlines, a “Alpha” male confidence seminar host, a video game voiceover session, and more.

Lil Baby performed hits including “California Breeze” and “Forever.”

Lil Baby Delivered An Emotional Performance Of ‘Forever’ On ‘Saturday Night Live’

In his second performance of the night, Lil Baby brought an emotional performance of his song, “Forever,” to the Saturday Night Live stage.

During the performance, Lil Baby was dressed in all black, joined by a pianist, who played flawless notes while Lil Baby rapped the melodic It’s Only Me standout. Though the song’s collaborator, Fridayy, who sings on the chorus, wasn’t present during the performance, Lil Baby’s stage presence matched the energy of the hook.

Over the years, Baby’s sound has evolved greatly, and last year’s It’s Only Me cemented him as one of rap’s best acts in the game right now. Albeit a rap superstar, whose career trajectory is only proving that he’s destined for longevity, Baby revealed in a profile for New York Times that he will never forget who and what he’s doing it all for — his hometown of Atlanta.

“The main thing that I do still keep with me from Atlanta, when I go everywhere, is me,” he said. “My upbringing, my manners, my way of thinking, my way of living. Everything comes from Atlanta. No matter where I go, I’ll never be able to get distance from Atlanta.”

You can check out the performance above.

Lil Baby Rocked Out In A Performance Of ‘California Breeze’ On ‘Saturday Night Live’

Tonight (January 28), rapper Lil Baby made his debut on Saturday Night Live. He took to the stage for a performance of “California Breeze” from his third studio album, It’s Only Me.

During his performance, Lil Baby was dressed in a luxurious green vest with matching pants. The rapper was joined by several instrumentalists, including a keyboardist and an electric guitarist, giving the song a rock-style sound. Colorful lights surrounding the stage added to the performance’s electrifying feel.

It’s Only Me reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 upon its release last October, and was one of the most streamed albums of 2022. Even having accomplished these remarkable feats, making albums comes as second nature to Lil Baby.

In a recent interview with XXL, Baby revealed that he doesn’t see himself as competing with anyone in the rap game. He prefers to go with his own flow and let the music speak for itself.

“I’m the only person where I’m like I’m tryna outdo, ya feel me? he said. “..I just know to do what I suppose to do and it just like always happens for me that way, feel me? I’ll outdo myself with no problem.”

Michael B. Jordan Jokes About Lori Harvey Split In “SNL” Monologue

Michael B. Jordan’s SNL monologue included some jokes about his public breakup with Lori Harvey. While it wasn’t anything scandalous, the Creed actor and director certainly added fuel to the rumor fire of relationships. Moreover, his first stint hosting the sketch show resulted in a lot of laughs from the crowd.

“I just directed my very first movie, Creed 3,” the 35-year-old said. “But right after that, I went through my very first public break-up. Now, most people after a break-up would be like ‘I’ma get in better shape.’ But I was already in Creed shape. So I had to be like, ‘Alright, I’ma learn a new language.’” Then, he says he’s on Raya in Spanish.

Later on in his monologue, various SNL cast members approach the actor to shoot their shot at a date with him. Overall, it was a harmless but cheeky way of making light of all the headlines and it was creative to see more people involved in a “monologue.”

However, Jordan opened up to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show about how excited he was to grace the comedy stage.

“It’s going great. I literally just did rehearsal just now,” he remarked. “It’s a machine and they are so fantastic and great at what they do, and it’s been a great process.”

Moreover, this news comes after rumors swirled that the Black Panther star was dating again. However, gossip surrounding a potential flame, British model Amber Jepson, died out after insider sources claimed they’ve never met. On the other hand, his ex Lori Harvey recently went public with actor Damson Idris. Also, dating rumors followed her everywhere she went before confirming her new relationship.

“It’s so funny, because I’m so quiet, there’s been so many stories that have been made up about me,” she told E! News. “I’ve seen stories about me being fully in love with somebody and you have like, this whole relationship. And I’ll see the guy and I’m like, I’ve actually never met him before.

“Like, full-blown stories I’ve heard, I’ve dated a father and son before. Absolutely not true,” Harvey went on. “I’ve even heard that I’m a lesbian at one point. So, you know, there’s been a lot of different things. A lot of stories, lot of misconceptions. I think they’re hilarious. I love the stories.”

Still, what did you think of Michael B. Jordan’s SNL monologue addressing his split from Lori Harvey? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments down below and check out the clip above. Also, as always, come back to HNHH for more pop culture moments and news about celebrity couples (and exes).

Lil Baby Steals Michael B. Jordan’s Valentine’s Date In A Cheeky ‘SNL’ Promo

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, so if you haven’t already got your plans in order, you might as well buckle down for a lonely night in.

Michael B. Jordan learns this lesson the hard way in the new promo for SNL, which he’ll host this week. In the second of the three bits, cast member Heidi Gardner makes a pass at him, hoping to get chose for V-Day, but when Mike snoozes, he loses the opportunity to musical guest Lil Baby.

The trio also has some fun with Lil Baby’s stage name in another bit, while in the third, Heidi’s Michael Buffer impression falls flat when she misidentifies Baby’s place of origin as Alaska instead of Atlanta. That could make for one awkward date!

Throughout the clip, it looks like all three are having fun, even if the rapper has a little bit of a “deer in headlights” look to him — which is understandable, considering he’s stepping out of his element. However, his one-time partner-in-rhyme Gunna acquitted himself well in some sketches when he appeared on SNL, so perhaps Lil Baby will surprise us too.

Baby is fresh off the release of his third album, It’s Only Me, which dropped back in October. It’s nice to see he’s still pushing it, considering how quickly artists move on from their projects these days.

You can watch the SNL promo above.
