Over the past few months, several women have taken to TikTok, noting that men frequently think about the Roman empire. This has since spawned memes with people describing fixations of their own as their personal “Roman empire.” Tonight (November 18), in a hilarious music video sketch on Saturday Night Live, the men of the cast doubled down on their fascination with this age.
The video opens with the fictional wives of guest host Jason Momoa, Mikey Day, and Kenan Thompson — played respectively by Ego Nwodim, Chloe Troast, and Punkie Johnson — singing of concerns that their husbands are fantasizing about other women. Momoa then delivers a hilarious rap, ensuring that there’s not lust for other women, but rather, a desire to return to the age of the Roman empire.
As the men continue to rap about how simple of a time the age of the Roman empire must’ve been, Nwodim expresses concern that the fascination is passing along to hers and Momoa’s fictional son.
But the son expresses that he is more interested in dinosaurs, which, like the Roman empire, are in the ground.
The ladies then suggest the men take up other interests — like astrology.
In his second time hosting Saturday Night Live, Timothée Chalamet brought back an old favorite. Reprising his Soundcloud rapper role, SmokeCheddaThaAssGetta, Chalamet spoke on a special panel honoring the 50th anniversary of hip-hop.
During the sketch, a moderator named Nunya Business, played by Ego Nwodim, hosts a group of hip-hop experts at the Museum Of Hip-Hop. On the panel are Mary J. Blige (Punkie Johnson), Dr. Cornel West (Kenan Thompason), Rick Rubin (James Austin Johnson), and SmokeCheddaThaAssGetta.
Evidently, SmokeCheddaThaAssGetta has broken the streaming record, which, according to Nunya, makes him “the most successful hip-hop artist of all time.”
While on the panel, Johnson’s Blige posits that hip-hop has thrived for more than 50 years, given the pure emotion in the music. Meanwhile, SmokeCheddaThaAssGetta is confused, as he initially thought hip-hop was discovered in 2014. However, he simply sums up his reasoning for Hip-Hop’s longevity, saying, “the opps gonna slide, but DMs be popping regardless.”
Elsewhere in the panel, SmokeCheddaThaAssGetta opens up about his struggles, hilariously noting “My dad made me get braces when I wanted Invisalign.” He also mentioned his sidekick in the rap game, Guaplord, who, in SmokeChedda’s first sketch, was played by Pete Davidson.
“He gotta lay low in Turkey for a minute,” SmokeCheddaThaAssGetta said.
In the first Saturday Night Live episode since the end of the SAG-AFTRA strike, this week’s host, Timothée Chalamet wasted no time. Tonight (November 11), the actor hosted the show for the second time.
The first time Chalamet hosted was back in 2020, amid the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. While both of his hosting gigs thus far took place at weird times, Chalamet fully embraced the newfound freedom to talk about his work. During tonight’s episode, Chalamet was excited to promote his upcoming projects, Wonka and Dune: Part II.
He broke out into song, singing to the tune of “Pure Imagination” from the original Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory.
“Come with me / and you’ll be / in a world of shameless self-promotion / It’s okay / That my new film Wonka is out in theaters December 15,” Chalamet sang.
He was then interrupted by SNL actor Marcello Hernandez, with whom, Chalamet established that they both have baby faces. The two then broke out into a hilarious rap about the reality of living with baby faces.
They were joined by fellow SNL actors Punkie Johnson and Kenan Thompson, the latter of whom jokingly claimed to be 63 years old, but maintained a youthful appearance due to his baby face.
Adam Sandler, a name synonymous with comedy, has been entertaining audiences for decades. As of 2023, his net worth is estimated to be a staggering $440 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. But how did he amass such wealth? Let’s delve into the journey of this comedic genius.
Born on September 9, 1966, in Brooklyn, NY, Adam’s family relocated to Manchester, New Hampshire, when he was just six. His passion for the arts led him to New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, from which he graduated in 1988. Even before graduation, Adam had already made cameo appearances in shows like The Cosby Show and the MTV game show Remote Control. His talent was undeniable.
Rise To Stardom
Adam’s big break came when Saturday Night Live‘s Dennis Miller noticed him after a performance in Los Angeles. This recommendation led to Adam joining SNL as a writer in 1990 and later as a cast member. His unique characters and comedic style quickly made him a household name. Additionally, Adam’s transition to Hollywood was seamless. Films like Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, The Wedding Singer, and The Waterboy are just a few that solidified his position as a comedic powerhouse. Not only did he act, but Adam also wrote and produced many of these films, showcasing his versatility in the entertainment industry.
Financial Triumphs
Adam’s success wasn’t just critical; it was financial, too. He consistently commanded salaries upwards of $20 million per movie. His ability to negotiate deals that included a percentage of a film’s gross profits further augmented his earnings. For instance, for the 2003 movie Anger Management, Adam earned at least $60 million, combining his base salary and a percentage of the gross.
In 2014, Adam inked a four-film $250 million production deal with Netflix. Despite receiving mixed reviews, Adam’s Netflix movies have been streamed for over 500 million hours since 2014, proving his enduring appeal. Further, Adam’s financial understanding extends beyond the silver screen. He owns multiple properties across the US, including a $13 million mansion in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles and a beachfront home in Malibu. His real estate portfolio alone is estimated to be worth between $50-$60 million.
Personal Life
Beyond his professional achievements, Adam has a fulfilling personal life. He’s been married to model/actress Jacqueline Titone, known as Jackie Sandler, since 2003, and they have two daughters. Overall, Adam Sandler’s journey from a young boy in New Hampshire to one of the richest comedians in the world is nothing short of inspiring. His talent, combined with his business acumen, has earned him a net worth of $440 million in 2023. As audiences continue to enjoy his work, Adam’s star shows no signs of dimming.
A recently resurfaced promo for Travis Scott’s 2018 appearance on SNL has fans debating whether the rapper has a drug addiction. In the clip, which featured Awkafina as the episode host, Scott is in a completely different galaxy. He doesn’t appear to be even vaguely aware of what is going on as Awkafina and former cast member Cecily Strong do a bit about Crazy Rich Asians. Bear in mind, this was five years ago. However, this hasn’t stopped fans from expressing modern concern about the rapper’s drug habits. “Yaaaa i never done no sh-t like this on just weed…hoping he doesn’t OD like other rappers cos clearly he don’t got anyone who cares enough to stop him from doing this on live television,” one person wrote on social media.
However, Scott has long denied that he has a drug problem. “I don’t do a lot of drugs, sh-t so I don’t even know. I only think that real drugs are like crack, heroin, and f-cking, like, you know, meth. Sh-t that really gets you f-cked ed up, sh-t that really gets you tweakin’. If you ain’t doing that, you ain’t doing drugs. I think that’s weak people need all that weird sh-t just to, like, tap into their f-cking brain. Knowledge is power, drugs [are] just, like, a mental cool down. It just put me at ease. I don’t tap into drugs to say what’s on my mind. I can do that sh-t sober, I am a drug, sober,” Scott said back in 2018.
Furthermore, it’s not the only clip of Scott that’s making the rounds at the moment. A video of Travis Scott cutting Sexyy Red‘s music mid-performance is going viral on social media. In the clip, Red can be seen rapping alongside Scott when he suddenly cuts her music. As she looks over in confusion, Scott can be heard saying “nahhh” as the crowd boos and jeers. The clip appears to come from an afterparty the pair threw at Tape, an exclusive nightclub in London, back in July. The pair rolled up after Scott brought out Red as part of his set at Wireless Fest earlier in the day. Check out the video below.
Tape posted a bevvy of videos from the afterparty on their social media. Many of them featured Scott and Red performing from behind the DJ’s desk. In one, Red performs “SkeeYee” for the crowd. However, they weren’t the only ones there. Latto also showed out, performing “Big Energy” for the crowd before declaring that it was “shots o’clock.” Other performers at the afterparty included Bryon Messina and Bryson Tiller.
Deion Sanders has expressed his approval of Kenan Thompson’s impression of him on a recent episode of SNL. “I’m a fan of Kenan, let’s get that straight. I love what he’s brought to comedy. I had the pleasure and honor to host Saturday Night Live before and I’ll never forget those moments,” Sanders said of the skit at his press availability this week. Thompson brought Coach Prime to life in a Weekend Update segment that poked fun at Sanders’ larger-than-life personality. As for Sanders’ SNL hosting gig, that came in February 1995, a couple weeks after he won Super Bowl 30 with the Niners.
Sanders and the Buffs are back in action this weekend following their bye week. The 4-3 Buffs take on #23 5-2 UCLA, who have traded wins and losses for their last four games. The Bruins enter coming off a big 42-7 win over Stanford, a team that stunned Colorado two weeks ago. With five games and three ranked opponents left, every game is a must-win for Colorado if they want to stand a chance of playing in bowl season this year.

Sanders Wants To See Both His Sons On The Falcons
Elsewhere, Sanders recently expressed a desire to see both his sons, Shedeur and Shilo, drafted his first NFL team – the Falcons. Sanders made the suggestion while Falcons scout Rich Sanders was visiting Colorado earlier this month. “We ain’t coming back unless we bringing the Sanders boys to The A,” the scout was seen saying at Deion’s behest.
Of course, Deion spent the first five years of his NFL career as an electrifying presence for the Falcons (and Braves). Shedeur has been widely considered QB4 in the 2024 draft class after a white-hot start to his Colorado career. He has over 2400 yards through seven games for the Buffs. Meanwhile, it’s hard to say where Shilo, a safety, will fall in the draft. He has 36 tackles and an 80-yard pick-six on the season so far. Meanwhile, Atlanta’s current QB is Desmond Ridder, who is in his first year as a full-time starter. He has 1630 yards and a 6-6 touchdown-interception ratio through seven games. The Falcons are 4-3 so far this season.
In recent years, Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith have found themselves at the center of public scrutiny and jokes. This is partly due to Jada speaking out in various interviews regarding her relationship with her husband, Will. One of the most prominent platforms to weigh in on Jada Pinkett and her newly released memoir, Worthy, was Saturday Night Live (SNL). They featured a funny skit on their most recent episode. During SNL’s “Weekend Update” segment on October 21, Michael Che interviewed Ego Nwodim, who portrayed Jada Pinkett Smith. The skit delved into the topic of her book tour and the countless revelations she’s shared with the world since its promotion began. Nwodim, in character, humorously recalled a moment from her wedding, saying, “The day we got married, I knew there was going to be trouble. At our wedding, someone stood up and objected.”
Che, intrigued by this revelation, asked, “Who was the person that ‘objected’?” To which the fake Pinkett Smith responded “It was me. Yeah, it was me. Twenty-three years later, Will and I are still a unit. And it’s because we have learned that the secret to a successful marriage is never to go to bed happy.” However, despite the occasional rumors and speculations surrounding their marriage, both have maintained that divorce is not an option for them. Instead, they choose to confront their challenges head-on and navigate the complexities of their relationship. In the skit, Nwodim’s character humorously remarked, “If we got divorced, he could mess around and end up happy. And I can’t have that.”
This satirical comment encapsulates the essence of their relationship – a bond built on love, commitment, and a shared journey through life’s ups and downs. Moreover, Jada Pinkett Smith’s memoir, Worthy, has been an eye-opener for many, as it dives into her personal experiences and growth. In fact, the two are considering writing a book together now. In a world where celebrity relationships often face intense scrutiny and public opinion, the enduring love story of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith reminds us that relationships require effort, understanding, and a willingness to evolve together.
Their willingness to share their journey and vulnerabilities with the world, even in the face of humor, is a testament to their unwavering commitment. In conclusion, Jada Pinkett Smith’s recent appearance on SNL, although as a joke, showcases the way the world is watching things unfold between the two. In other news, Jada Pinkett Smith expressed her belief that if 2Pac had survived the 1996 shooting, he and Will Smith would have developed a strong friendship. She shared her thoughts on her connection with the late rapper in a recent interview with Jay Shetty on his podcast, On Purpose. During the interview she said she felt her and Tupac were soulmates. What are your thoughts on the SNL skit? Let us know on HNHH!
Hitting the Saturday Night Live stage for the second time tonight, Bad Bunny celebrated his new album Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va A Pasar Mañana with a performance of the instant fan-favorite “Monaco.”
While on stage, Bunny was seated in the middle of a large supper table, as he channeled the leader of a mafia. Joined by a group of fellow mafiosos, Bunny once again maintained an impeccable stage presence, as he turned up his charisma.
The performance slightly mirrored the mafia-themed music video for “Monaco,” which stars Al Pacino. Earlier in the week, Bunny made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, during which, he said that Pacino is his uncle.
Shortly after, Bunny clarified that he was joking, however, he said that the experience of working with Pacino was “a dream come true.”
Tonight marks Bunny’s second time performing on Saturday Night Live, but his first time hosting. Earlier in the night, Bunny had the audience in stitches with his monologue, during which, he shared hilarious stories, in both English and Spanish. He also delivered laughs in a dramatic, telenovela-themed sketch, which told the story of a fictional, wealthy family.
In his first musical performance of the night, Bad Bunny took to the Saturday Night Live stage, performing “Un Preview” from his new album, Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va A Pasar Mañana.
Ahead of the performance, Lady Gaga made a surprise appearance to introduce Bunny, who then commands the stage, dancing in front of a coin-operated horse, against a white backdrop.
Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va A Pasar Mañana has been out for over a week, and Bunny is still riding the high of dropping the album. The album became the most streamed album on Spotify in a single day within the first 24 hours of its release. And this performance was simply “un preview” of what to expect from his upcoming tour.
Gaga isn’t the only famous friend of Bunny to make a surprise appearance. Earlier in the night, Bunny was joined by The Last Of Us actor Pedro Pascal in the middle of his opening monologue. In a dramatic telenovela-themed sketch, Rolling Stones lead vocalist Mick Jagger made an appearance, playing an actor who was starring as the patriarch of the fictional Padilla family.
As his star-studded list of supporters would suggest, Bunny’s music has proven timeless for fans across various generations.
You can see the performance of “Un Preview” above.
It was a star-studded night on tonight’s broadcast of Saturday Night Live. While Bad Bunny was certainly the star of the show, some of his special friends swung by, amping up the razzle-dazzle.
In a hilarious sketch, Bunny and Marcello Hernandez star in a novela called El Pasion De Las Padillas. And as with any novela, the stakes and drama were at a high. In the sketch, Bowen Yang directs a scene, which Bunny and Hernandez just can seem to get right. In tandem with the filming, Punkie Johnson further delivers on the comedy with her misunderstandings of Spanish, which lead to some quick-witted jokes, and ultimately, Johnson’s own show.
But shortly before, as drama ensues between Bunny and Hernandez, whose characters are playing brothers in the scene, the patriarch of the Padillas arrives to set. The father? The one and only Rolling Stones lead vocalist Mick Jagger.
Last Friday, Bunny released his fifth studio album, Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana, which has since received much acclaim. This weekend, Jagger is also riding a high with his Rolling Stones bandmates, as the British rockstars just released their 26th album, Hackney Diamonds.
