Shannon Sharpe’s Potential Replacement Revealed

Shannon Sharpe is going to be leaving Undisputed very soon. In fact, the plan is for him to leave the show once the NBA Finals are over. Overall, this is something that a lot of fans saw coming. After all, Sharpe and Skip Bayless had gotten into quite a few arguments as of late. It was becoming clear that the work environment was toxic, and subsequently, Sharpe is going off to do his own thing. Although fans are going to miss this dynamic between the two co-hosts, it seems like this is actually just the best course of action for everyone involved.

Now, many are speculating over who could replace Shannon Sharpe. Of course, in the eyes of many, Sharpe is irreplaceable. According to Front Office Sports, LeSean McCoy is expected to be given an “extended tryout.” For those who don’t know, the former NFL star is a co-host on SPEAK with Emmanuel Acho. However, his chemistry with Skip may turn out to be a problem. At this juncture, we truly do not know how this would play out or what it would even look like.

Presently, this is all just a rumor and FS1 has yet to actually confirm everything. However, we imagine more names will begin to pop up over the coming days and weeks. George Karl Rips Skip Bayless For Being An “Embarrassment”

George Karl is someone who has never shied away from giving his opinion on Twitter. Overall, the former NBA coach is not exactly well-liked by a lot of people. For instance, DeMarcus Cousins and Karl pretty well hate each other. Additionally, this same dynamic stands between Karl and JR Smith. However, Karl is a huge fan of Carmelo Anthony, which is interesting when you consider his hatred for other stars he’s worked with in the past. Whatever the case, Karl is a unique member of NBA Twitter.

Just like the rest of us, he has been watching the NBA Finals. He used to coach the Denver Nuggets, so you can imagine he is interested in what they are doing. Last night, they lost Game 2 to the Miami Heat. Subsequently, the series is tied up at one game apiece. Karl was on edge during the match, and decided to lash out at none other than Skip Bayless. This all took place after Skip decided to disparage Nikola Jokic for his shots. “I have never ever seen a man luck in as many shots as Joker did tonight. We used to call them “greasing” in shots. Tonight Joker was one big tub of Crisco,” Bayless said.

George Karl Goes Off

Karl did not have a particularly favorable reply to this as he simply said, “This man is an embarrassment to sports media.” Needless to say, he disagrees with what Skip Bayless had to say on the matter. Karl is clearly not the only person who dislikes Skip. After all, Shannon Sharpe is leaving Undisputed and many believe it is because of a deteriorating relationship with Bayless. Skip has been known to upset people in the past, and now more than ever, people are feeling emboldened to call him out on his behavior.

Hopefully, for Karl, his Nuggets can come back and win this series. They are still the favorites to win it all, and barring a disaster in Miami, that is still very much the case. Let us know what you think of George Karl calling out Skip, in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from around the sports world.

Skip Bayless Theorizes Why Jimmy Butler Is Struggling

Skip Bayless is someone who doesn’t always get a ton of respect from NBA fans. Overall, there is a pretty good reason for this. He can sometimes be overly critical of certain players. Additionally, he is also disrespectful at times. This disrespect has sometimes been directed at his co-host Shannon Sharpe. Interestingly enough, Shannon is leaving Undisputed soon, and many point to Skip’s antics as the reason why. That said, they continue to cover the NBA Finals, at least for now.

Last night, we got to see a fantastic game from the Miami Heat, who stunned the Denver Nuggets with a fourth-quarter run that won them the game. Although, it was players like Max Strus and Bam Adebayo who led the way for the Heat. Jimmy Butler struggled throughout much of the match, just like he did in the last few games against Boston. Overall, fans are wondering what is up with Butler, who hasn’t been carrying his squad. As Skip Bayless explains, it could be because Jimmy Butler’s father is sick.

Skip Bayless Speaks

“We haven’t seen Playoff Jimmy [Butler] now for 7 straight games,” Skip Bayless explained. “He is going through an issue with his father who is not well… I think he might be a little distracted, if not a little drained, by going through that.” All-in-all, this is a very bizarre thing to speculate on. At the end of the day, Butler has not disclosed anything of the sort. Moreover, it just feels like yet another instance in which Bayless has overstepped a bit. Once again, this has to be another reason why Shannon Sharpe wants out of there.

Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat seem locked in right now. They are making it very tough on the Nuggets, who on paper are the better team. However, this is a series that could end up going the distance. Let us know who you think is the better team, in the comments section down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the sports news.

Stephen A. Smith Says He’d Support Shannon Sharpe Joining “First Take”

Stephen A. Smith says that he’d support Shannon Sharpe joining ESPN’s First Take after it was reported that the NFL legend reached a buyout agreement with FS1. His last show with Skip Bayless on Undisputed will likely come after the NBA Finals. Bayless previously served as a co-host of First Take with Stephen A. Smith from 2007–2016.

“I don’t know what his plans are, I don’t know what he’s trying to pursue, I don’t know what he’s after. But if Shannon Sharpe needs me, I’m happy to be here for him,” Smith said on the Stephen A. Smith Show on Friday. “And if that included him wanting to come on First Take, the bosses at ESPN know that is something that I would support.” The buyout reportedly also stipulates that Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast will no longer be a part of FS1.

Shannon Sharpe has been hosting Undisputed alongside Skip Bayless since September 2016. There has been noticeable animosity growing between the co-hosts in recent months. The relationship reached a particularly low point after Bayless’ controversial tweet about Damaar Hamlin and his injury back in January.

More recently, the two got into a heated argument on air when Bayless made a comment noting that Tom Brady played until he was 45 years old while Sharpe retired at 35. “That’s what you do,” Sharpe responded. “Every time I call something into question, I get it … I did what I did! You make it seem like I was a bum! I’m in the effin’ Hall of Fame. I got three Super Bowls!”

Stephen A. Smith On Shannon Sharpe’s Future

Stephen A. Smith isn’t the only voice in sports media to express interest in working with Sharpe. Cam’ron also invited him to join his talk show, It Is What It Is. “Shannon, you definitely got a home here,” Cam’ron recently said. “Yo, listen my n***a, come to It Is What It Is n***a. You know how much bread we get? And you can be you because we being us. Shit would be well, my n***a.”

Charles Barkley Trolls Skip Bayless

The sports world was rocked earlier this week when Shannon Sharpe announced that he would be leaving Fox at the end of the NBA Finals. The NFL Hall of Famer had successfully negotiated a buyout to leave the network, taking UNDISPUTED and Club Shay with him. While Sharpe’s brand has always been fuelled by spirited debate, it appears that his relationship with co-host Skip Bayless is the primary reason for his departure. The pair have always sparred but things appear to have broken down in recent months. Incidents like Bayless’ comments about Damar Hamlin and getting personal when debating Tom Brady appears to have been the breaking point.

In the wake of the news, many people have roasted Bayliss for his apparent fumbling of the bag. It’s widely known that Sharpe is the one people really tune in for. Now, his biggest on-air detractor is also getting in on the action.

Charles Barkley Dunks On Bayless

Charles Barkley couldn’t help but get in on the roasting of Bayliss. “I did find out something…I read an article today, if you work with a damn idiot, they’ll buy you out. I’m saying, I read it,” Barkley began during his NBA Finals postgame coverage, “Shaq, it’s not you. It’s not you [Grant Hill] and it’s not you [Matt Winer]. It’s not Ernie. But apparently if you work with a damn idiot they’ll buy you out. So, I just want you to know, I’m open to the buyout. I didn’t know it was that easy.”

It’s no secret that Barkley absolutely despises Bayless. In 2017, Barkley made some very colorful comments about him on The Dan Patrick Show. “You know what we should do for ratings? If I get a disease and I’m gonna die, how about you get Skip Bayless in here and I’ll kill him live on national television. Just get him in here. Only when I know Imma die….Cause I just want to get Skip Bayless in a room one time and beat him like a dog. Only if I knew I was gonna die. Not if I’m gonna live, cause I don’t wanna go to prison. Cause like Mahorn say, ‘they would love you in prison.’”

Shannon Sharpe Likes Tweet That Suggests Why He’s Leaving Skip Bayless

Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless have been a dynamic duo since 2016. In September of this year, it would have been seven years since they formed the show Undisputed. However, it doesn’t seem like they are going to get that far. Last night, it was revealed that Sharpe’s contract with FS1 was being bought out, largely by his request. Subsequently, he is set to embark on his own projects, such as Club Shay Shay. Overall, this news came as a bit of a shock, but for those who pay attention, the writing was on the wall.

Sharpe infamously got into a fight with Skip Bayless over Tom Brady. Skip was extremely disrespectful and some felt like Sharpe needed to take action. Moreover, things got infinitely worse when Skip made that tweet about Damar Hamlin. Things continued to spiral, and although Shannon Sharpe stuck around, it was clear that perhaps a change was needed. Now, Sharpe is leaving the show for good, and he is even liking tweets that theorize why he left.

Shannon Sharpe Co-Signs This Tweet

“Their relationship got progressively worse over the last 2 maybe 3 years because skip fought for him to be on that show but I feel like skip couldn’t stand Shannon succeeding without and that’s when skip was taking pot shots on air,” the Twitter user wrote. Of course, fans immediately clocked that Sharpe had liked the tweet. Although, it is unknown whether or not this is truly the case or Shannon is just letting the emotions get the best of him. Either way, Skip Bayless needs to go out and find a new partner.

It is believed that Sharpe will do the show through the NBA Finals. Once those are over, he will quietly exit the show. Needless to say, this is all happening very fast, and Undisputed viewers are likely to make a grand exodus. Skip Bayless has yet to react to the news. Let us know what you think of all this, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from around the sports world. We will always keep you informed.

Skip Bayless Apologizes To His Wife

Skip Bayless is a man who is very much hated by the sports world. Overall, this is due to the fact that he is a huge hater. Although he has been a journalist for many years, some find his takes to be offensive. Moreover, his LeBron James hatred has certainly carried him over the years. That said, he is wildly entertaining and quite frankly, downright hilarious. Whether it be Twitter or Undisputed, Skip is able to find a way to entertain us. He is like a method actor that would make the likes of Jeremy Strong and Daniel Day-Lewis blush.

Last night, Skip Bayless was watching Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics. For much of this series, Skip was pulling for the Heat. Consequently, you can imagine just how worried he was about the lead that the Heat had given up. Of course, the Heat won last night, and subsequently, Bayless was very happy. In fact, he took to Twitter with an apology to his wife. The reason? Well, apparently he had a bit of a tantrum after Game 6 on Saturday night.

Skip Bayless Stream Of Consciousness

“Please forgive me, Ernestine. I am sorry about the fit I threw on Saturday night when I came within a tenth of a second of a great pick – Heat in 6,” Bayless began. “I am crazy happy now. YOU WERE RIGHT: You kept saying, ‘There’s still another game left.’ Yes, but … YOU CALLED IT.” In the replies, many fans pointed out that Bayless could have just gone to the next room to apologize. But no. Instead, he took to Twitter and provided us with some entertainment instead. To be honest, we appreciate it.

Now, Skip is saying that the Heat will beat the Denver Nuggets in the NBA Finals. That is going to be a tall task for sure. The Heat are the underdogs, especially as an eighth seed. Moreover, Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray are going to have something to say. They are a very complete team and will be looking to crush the Heat in four or five. Let us know who you think will take the title, in the comments section below.

Skip Bayless Describes LeBron James In One Word

If you know Skip Bayless, then you understand that he is a bit of a LeBron hater. Although he doesn’t outright say the NBA star sucks, he still doesn’t think he is the GOAT. In fact, Bayless has LeBron at number 9 on his all-time players list. That is disturbingly low when you consider what LeBron has accomplished. However, it appears as though this ranking will not change. LeBron could subsequently go off and win three titles in a row, and for Bayless, it would not matter. Regardless, the agenda marches forward.

Overall, Skip Bayless never tires of talking about LeBron. From Undisputed to his new podcast, The Skip Bayless Show, Skip always has reason to discuss the Kid From Akron. Of course, a lot of this hinges on the fact that the Lakers are currently in the Western Conference Finals. If LeBron leads the team to a title this year, it will be a miracle. However, that isn’t forcing Skip to change his tone on the superstar. We know this thanks to the insane comments he made today on his podcast.

Skip Bayless Is Not Flattering

We say “insane” simply because it is wild what Bayless answers to the above question. When asked one word to describe LeBron, he says “flawed.” Now, every player has flaws, but to immediately say that in relation to LeBron, is true hater stuff. Either way, Skip Bayless tries to plead his case by talking about all the times LeBron has fallen short. Ultimately, it is exactly what you would expect from Skip. Simply put, getting mad at this is like getting mad at a bear for defecating in the forest.

If LeBron and the Lakers do end up winning the title, then Skip Bayless will have to star re-thinking some things. Overall, he is a provocateur, and that is why he still talks like this. That said, there has to be something deep inside of him begging to just give LeBron his flowers one time. Let us know what you think of what Bayless said, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from around the sports world.

Skip Bayless Gets Real About Steph Curry’s Legacy

Skip Bayless is easily one of the biggest haters in the entire NBA world. Quite honestly, it is impressive just how much he hates on certain players. Overall, his biggest target is LeBron James. However, when it comes to LeBron Vs. Steph Curry, Skip will always hate on Steph. While no one knows why, one would guess it is because he blew that 3-1 lead to LeBron. This helped bolster LeBron’s legacy, and subsequently, Bayless could not forgive Curry for that. Ever since that time, Bayless has taken every opportunity to shoot down Steph’s greatness.

Overall, some find this funny. However, there are plenty of Curry fans out there who find it less than amusing. Although, there is not much they can say after last night. While Curry was fine throughout the game, he could not make a clutch shot to save his life. Consequently, the Golden State Warriors lost another game to the Los Angeles Lakers. Now, the series is at 3-1 in favor of the Lakers, and the Warriors could be looking at elimination on Wednesday. Needless to say, this morning was a good one for Bayless.

Skip Bayless Is Unimpressed

In the clip above from Tuesday’s episode of Undisputed, Bayless makes it abundantly clear that he is not impressed with Curry. Moreover, he spoke specifically about his clutch time stats. As you will see, they are not very good whatsoever. For once in his life, perhaps Skip Bayless actually has a point. “14 times Steph has taken a go-ahead shot in the final 50 seconds of playoff games, and never made ONE. That does not speak well to his legacy,” he explained.

Of course, Curry could completely change the narrative by coming back from this deficit. LeBron did it to him in 2016. Now, he can turn the tide and avenge that loss with a comeback of his own. Only time will tell whether or not the Warriors are truly hungry enough to get it done. If not, then the Lakers are off to the Western Conference Finals. Let us know who you have taking Game 5, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from around the NBA.

Skip Bayless Flexes Death Row Chain After Sixers & Suns Wins

Skip Bayless is one of the funnier people on sports talk television. Although most people hate his takes, they feel to realize that the man is an auteur. He is the type of character actor that one simply dreams of someday becoming. Overall, what he does every single morning is performance art, and only those paying attention can see it. His act may be tired for some, but to others, it is truly hilarious. No matter what, Bayless continues to be a force on FS1 and that is not going to be changing, anytime soon.

Recently, Snoop Dogg was on an episode of Undisputed where he gifted Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless a Death Row Records chain. Of course, Snoop is now the owner of the label, so it makes sense for him to do something like this. Although Bayless isn’t exactly the most in tune with hip-hop culture, he is besties with Lil Wayne. Furthermore, Snoop has always had a friendship with Bayless, so the gift wasn’t that far out there. Either way, the concept of Bayless repping this chain may make fans laugh.

Skip Bayless Reps Death Row

Well, on Sunday, Skip Bayless flexed his brand-new chain with some pride. The Sixers and the Suns won their games, and Bayless was very excited about this. In the tweet above, he wrote “My mood after both the Sixers and Suns evened their series with huge home wins. Feeling ‘Death Row.’ Feeling, ‘Say it with your chest.’ THANK YOU FOR THIS, SNOOP.” Yes, that’s right, Skip is feeling “Death Row” right about now. As if the world wasn’t wacky enough already.

Now, the Sixers are tied in their series with the Celtics. Meanwhile, the Suns have tied it up against the Denver Nuggets, despite the odds. Overall, the playoffs are heating up, and with Game 4 of Lakers and Warriors going down tonight, we are in for quite the show. The NBA playoffs feel wide open this year, and there is no telling who might end up in the Finals. Hopefully, we get a matchup that fans will remember for a very long time. Let us know who you have winning it all, in the comments down below.
