Drake has dropped his first post-beef bars. And guess what? They are over the BBLDrizzy beat.
Drake appears on Sexyy Red’s “U My Everything” single, and the beat transitions into Metro Boomin’s diss beat. Flipping it in his favor, Drake raps, “BBL Drizzy, they want a new body, they ask me for it.”
The move may be smart because everybody was getting jabs in on Drake. With Metro Boomin’s “BBL Drizzy” challenge taking over the net, Dr. Miami is making it the soundtrack of his office. Sharing a video on TikTok, the famed plastic surgeon has one simple request: “Play it again.”
The “U My Everything” single can be found on Sexyy Red’s mixtape, In Sexyy We Trust, released today via Rebel/gamma. Executively produced by Tay Keith and Drumatized, the mixtape features the Billboard-charting hit “Get It Sexyy” and includes collaborations with Drake, Lil Baby, Mike WiLL Made-It, and VonOff1700.
In Sexyy We Trust showcases Sexyy Red’s fun-loving spirit and unyielding sense of self, offering a refreshing break from respectability politics. This new project follows an exciting start to 2024, which saw her reaching new Billboard milestones, racking up five BET Awards nominations, and welcoming her second child in February.
The mixtape, the official follow-up to her acclaimed 2023 release Hood Hottest Princess, spans 14 tracks filled with engaging anthems, raw lyrics, and chantable choruses. Highlights include the latest duet with Drake, “U My Everything,” a follow-up to their viral hit “Rich Baby Daddy,” and collaborations with Tay Keith, such as the titanic banger “Ova Bad,” and the explicit ode “Awesome Jawsome.”
Other notable tracks include “Outside,” a minimalist, uptempo banger produced by Mike WiLL Made-It, “Lick Me,” a sensual back-and-forth with Lil Baby, and “Sexyy Love Money,” featuring VonOff1700.
Just about a week ago, one of hip-hop’s leading ladies, Sexyy Red, announced her new tape In Sexyy We Trust. She revealed this information over social media and that it would arrive on Memorial Day weekend. This project, like Hood Hottest Princess, sees the St. Louis rapper try to improve on her ratchet trap sound which continues to grow in popularity. For the most part, she does while bringing some of her most memorable performances to date.
The mixtape begins with a hilarious rendition of the intro to “Love Sosa,” only this time it is some random British dude. Following that, she expertly follows up on that opening message by kicking the door down on “She’s Back.” Of course, the major talking point of In Sexyy We Trust is “U My Everything” featuring Drake. However, there is lot more to this 14-track offering than just that. For starters, you have the mixtape’s lead single “Get It Sexyy,” which fits perfectly into the tracklist and still hits hard.
“Outside,” produced by Mike WiLL Made-It, may leave your jaw on the floor with how ridiculous the pre-chorus is. You will just have to listen to that for yourself to truly understand its absurdity. On top that, you also have features from Lil Baby and VonOff1700. Overall, Sexyy is definitely the standout across the project, not letting guests or most beats outshine her. Be sure to check out the tape with the links above.
What are your thoughts on In Sexyy We Trust by Sexyy Red? Which songs are you gravitating toward the most right now? Who had the strongest feature on the tape? Is this better than Hood Hottest Princess, why or why not? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Sexyy Red. Finally, stay with us for everything else going on in the music world.

Sexyy Red has the streets on lock this summer. Tonight (May 24), the St. Louis rapper dropped her new mixtape, In Sexyy We Trust, which features a new collaboration with Drake, “U My Everything.”
On “U My Everything,” the usually sexually-charged and outspoken Sexyy wants to lock it down with a certain man, urging him to “tell them hoes we go together.”
She tests his loyalty, rapping, “If you f*ck with me, go tattoo my name / I’d like to score him, and he’d do the same / I think we soulmates, you my twin flame.”
The song marks Drake’s first musical contribution since Kendrick Lamar dropped his scathing Drake diss track “Not Like Us.” While he doesn’t directly address Lamar, he seemingly suggests that he hasn’t let up.
Fans who have been paying close attention to the Lamar-Drake beef will hear a sample of “BBL Drizzy” on Drake’s verse. The original version of “BBL Drizzy” was an AI-generated track by comedian King Willonius, which was later remixed by producer Metro Boomin, who has shown to be on Lamar’s side in the feud. After sharing his remix, Metro launched a contest, promising a $10,000 cash prize to a rapper who drops the best freestyle over the beat.
Though Drake neither confirms nor denies rumors that he received a Brazilian butt lift — or any form of cosmetic surgery — he does suggest that he’s helped pay for others to get procedures.
“Me and the surgeon got history / I changed a lot of girls lives for real / they need a new body, they hittin’ me,” Drake raps on his verse.
Though neither Lamar, Drake, or Metro have offered any indication that their beef is over, Drake seems to be having a laugh over the whole ordeal.

A strong contender in this category is the bold and unapologetic Sexyy Red. Her music, often characterized by its catchy hooks and confident delivery, has evidently resonated with a broad audience. Her viral single “Water” was a chart-topping hit, solidifying her status as a rising star in the music industry. A strong contender in the category, Tyla is also up for three other awards at the 2024 BET Awards.
If you thought that Sexyy Red slowed down after a massive 2024… well, don’t hang up the “Make America Sexyy Again” caps just yet, because you made a huge mistake. Moreover, she just announced a few days ago that her new EP, In Sexyy We Trust, is releasing this Memorial Day Weekend on Friday (May 24) via Open Shift and Gamma. It comes amid a lot of big features, performances, viral moments, and other moves from the St. Louis star, including the recent Chief Keef collaboration “Grape Trees.” We shouldn’t be too surprised that she continues to strike while the iron is hot, but the work ethic never fails to impress.
Furthermore, fans are wondering just what form this new EP will take: something like Hood Hottest Princess‘ first iteration, a mere handful of tracks, or something in between? Either way, Sexyy Red should have at least one or two bangers on here that will hit it big, or perhaps this will compile some recent singles and collabs like “Get It Sexyy.” Maybe we will get a little more information about In Sexyy We Trust as the week leads up to the Memorial Day Weekend release. But there’s nothing like a great first listen with as little spoilers as possible, so here’s hoping that this new EP has some welcome surprises.
On the other hand, we’re sure that Sexyy Red knows her strengths far too well, and will likely aim to make this EP the best experience possible for hardcore fans. But even the most ardent of “SkeeYee” fans can’t predict every move, such as an old high school fight video that went viral recently. She even responded to this years-old clip of her brawl with a simple “Been on Det!!!” So now you know not to mess with the 26-year-old.
Meanwhile, with an upcoming music video with 42 Dugg on the cards as well, Sexyy Red will probably have another killer year in 2024. She’s already making great progress in that regard, so here’s hoping that In Sexyy We Trust is another treat. Whether it’s a change of pace or more of what we love, it’s a simple but effective way to follow up last year’s LP. Hopefully more artists would do the same, but we digress…
Sexyy Red is on a mission to #MakeAmericaSexyyAgain. The St. Louis rapper announced her new EP, In Sexyy We Trust, just ahead of the weekend, revealing its cover art and release date: May 24, the start of Memorial Day weekend.
Since then, she’s appeared on the bills for a diverse array of music festivals, including The Roots Picnic, Dreamville Festival, and Hangout Festival. At the latter, she apparently hung out backstage with Lana Del Rey; the resulting video of the two dancing to Sexyy’s latest hit, “Get It Sexyy,” has been amusing fans over at X (RIP, Twitter.com).

Lana wasn’t the only surprising star that Sexyy’s been hanging out with lately. Early this month, the St. Louis native popped out to dance along with Zach Bryan during his Quittin Time Tour performance in her hometown, delighting the home of the Gateway Arch. Next up for Sexyy after dropping her new EP? She’s one of the performers billed to take the stage at New York’s Hot97 Summer Jam.

There is a plethora of entertaining duos in hip-hop today. Of course, you have Metro Boomin and his vast roster of frequent collaborators like Future, Travis Scott, and 21 Savage. Once upon a time you had Kanye West and Jay-Z. The number is large, and it is only growing by the day. One of the newer forces we have seen develop is Chief Keef and Sexyy Red.
Chief Keef recently dropped his mixtape Almighty So 2, and its track “Grape Trees” is now the latest installment between these two respective stars. This cut most recently follows up on “DAMN SHORTY,” which appeared on the Mike WiLL Made-It produced tape DIRTY NACHOS. Going back a little further, Keef and Sexyy came together for a remix of sorts on “Bow Bow Bow (F My Baby Mama).” That landed on the deluxe of Red’s standout tape Hood Hottest Princess.
Like all of their offerings together, “Grape Trees” gives off a rage-inducing atmosphere. Keef brings a shouty flow over his self-produced beat, which slaps by the way. The horns, mixed with the rapid fire drums that sound like gunshots, are ridiculous in the best way. Red delivers her familiar bars of women hating on her, flexing Hellcats and her promiscuity, all while being nonchalant about it. In a mixtape filled with bangers, this one ranks high on the list.
What are your thoughts on this brand-new song “Grape Trees” by Chief Keef and Sexyy Red? Is this the best track from Almighty So 2, why or why not? Do you think this is their best collaboration so far? Who had the strongest performance on the track? Are they turning into one of the best duos in modern trap music? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Chief Keef and Sexyy Red. Finally, stay with us for everything else going on in the music world.
Quotable Lyrics:
H*es always hatin’ on me, what the f*** did I do? Is you mad ’cause I look better and I’m fresher than you? (It’s Sexyy) Almighty and Big Sexyy slidin’ in the spacecraft (Skrt) B****, don’t get an attitude ’cause you’ll get your head cracked None of you h*es can’t f*** with me, they boring and they coochie wack Northside b****, in a foreign, but I like Hellcats (You know it)
Monica has found herself back in the spotlight on a nearly night by night basis, at least among the Barbz. Back in February she was revealed as the opening act on Nicki Minaj’s highly anticipated Pink Friday 2 tour. When the tour finally took off a few weeks later she got plenty of love from the Barbz for her opening performances. The tour is still chugging along before shifting to an overseas leg starting next month.
But her affiliation with Nicki may be starting to run deeper than she anticipated. She took to Instagram to share a story with fans about an alleged encounter in ana airport. “Ok… This older lady literally chased me down in the airport to say Good Morning Miss Sexyy Red May I pls have a Picture! I hated to disappoint her but I said ‘Mmmm I love her but I’m not Sexyy Red” LMAOOO now I can’t get the song out of my head!!! She was so disappointed LOL. While the story is funny to imagine, plenty of fans online immediately commented that imagination might be all it is. Check out some of the responses to her story below.
In the comments, fans aren’t buying the story. “Aint nobody thought no shit like that. ” one of the top comments on the post reads hilariously denying the story entirely. “They tried to play her, because there is absolutely NO resemblance” another commentor observes. Others did take the story at face value, but that doesn’t mean they didn’t come at it with jokes. “That’s so disrespectful to Monica tf” one highly-upvoted comment on the post reads. The variety of reactions to the post divided fans even further in the comments.
What do you think of Monica’s story of a woman allegedly confusing her for Sexyy Red and asking for a photo while she was in the airport? Do you believe that the story she’s telling is true? Let us know in the comment section below.
Ray J just gave a pretty hot but understandable take on the Tronix Network premiere of Love After Hip-Hop, one that Moniece Slaughter was in staunch disagreement with. Moreover, he called Sexyy Red “one of the best rappers he’s ever heard,” and an example of someone who doesn’t need a lot of marketing to establish their hit status. In the clip below, they don’t discuss much else, but the singer and entertainment figure also called her one of the top three female rappers of all time. The spicy assessment sidesteps Sexyy’s shorter time in the limelight, but one can’t deny her massive impact.
Furthermore, she got co-signs from pretty much every corner of the music industry, including a strong collaborative bond with Chief Keef. The St. Louis MC has a couple of hits under her belt already, and with each one, she shows no signs of slowing down or letting up on her prolific craft. Ray J may be putting Sexyy Red on a pretty high pedestal here, but it’s hard not to do so with the context of contemporary hip-hop in mind. It’s a multifaceted beast, but one that she definitely controls a specific corner of alongside similarly impressive and show-stopping femcees.
However, all this praise for Sexyy Red can’t get Ray J out of other pickles in the entertainment industry. For example, Hazel-E recently accused him of setting up a fight between her and Masika Kalysha without letting her know beforehand. It’s unclear exactly what beef transpired between these three individuals, but it still hit the gossip pages as a continuation of previous L&HH disagreements. As the brain behind the Tronix Network enterting a new realm of reality TV, we’re sure that there will be more (but hopefully fewer) disagreements down the road.
Meanwhile, Moniece Slaughter gained recent notoriety for her often controversial and dismissive takes of some femcees today, although she also praises others just the same. Her stark denial of Ray J’s praise of Sexyy Red, though, rings off as particularly negative. Let us know which side you’re on down in the comments section below. Also, drop your theories as to whether the Hood Hottest Princess will eventually reach that top three femcee status.
