Brandon T. Jackson’s comments about Cassie’s lawsuit against Diddy got him in a lot of heat with social media users. Moreover, he posted a video from his car addressing the Bad Boy signee’s alleged experience with sexual assault and physical abuse at the hands of her label’s mogul. In it, the actor held a “confessional session” where he admitted to sleeping with many women, being late on child support, and other lighter topics. It’s a bizarre clip, but it seems to joke about skeletons coming out of the closet in situations like these, and about people quickly getting “cancelled” for their views and actions.
After many called this out as tone-deaf or disrespectful, Brandon T. Jackson released another video on social media clarifying his take on these allegations, of which similar ones recently emerged from Diddy’s other partners. “I’m no one’s slave,” the clip’s caption read. “I say what I want. I work when I want. But I don’t disrespect people trauma don’t take my words out of context. Period.” In the video itself, he goes into a little more detail about his thoughts and how folks misconstrued them.
“Well, I guess I gotta do it for the 32nd generation that don’t pay attention to context or jokes,” Brandon T. Jackson remarked of his original intent, making it more clear that he was making fun of himself and just using this situation as a jumping-off point. “If anybody who knows anything about comedic satire, I come from a long form of content. It’s called film. It’s called comedic satire. No way would I ever make fun of Cassie’s trauma, or Diddy, or whatever’s going on. I was talking about myself, I was self-joking about myself. So that’s what it was.”
Meanwhile, other celebrities are also having a hard time speaking on this issue without getting backlash. Whether that’s of their own design or as a result of overblown suppositions is a case-by-case basis. Unfortunately, as this lawsuit gets uglier and more scandalous, more instances like this of misinterpretation or ridicule will probably happen. For more news on Diddy, Cassie, and Brandon T. Russell Brand has been named in a lawsuit accusing him of sexual assault on the set of the 2011 film Arthur. The woman, who filed the suit under the name Jane Doe, claims that Brand exposed his penis to her and later assaulted her in a bathroom. Furthermore, the suit alleges that prior to both incidents, Brand “appeared intoxicated, smelled of alcohol, and was carrying a bottle of vodka on set.” Of the bathroom assault, the woman claimed that Brand sexually assaulted her while “a member of the production crew guarded the door from the outside.”
Additionally, the woman claims she was hired to do three days of work on the film. However, she alleges that she was asked not to return after the first day. Additionally, she claims she was only paid for that day. Jane Doe becomes the sixth woman to allege sexual assault on the part of Brand. The allegations were first reported by British news outlet Channel 4. Several criminal investigations in the United Kingdom have been launched as a result.
As mentioned, at least five women have come forward with allegations concerning Brand, many dating back several years. This has led to a number of police investigations in the United Kingdom. While the London Metropolitan Police are handling most of the allegations, an investigation was also opened by the Thames Valley Police. In a statement issued in early October, the Thames Valley Police acknowledged they had reopened an investigation into stalking and harassment claims made against Brand between 2018 and 2022.
Meanwhile, one woman has alleged Brand sexually assaulted while she was a minor. Elsewhere, another woman has claimed Brand raped her in Los Angeles in 2012. Brand, once the golden child of 2000s British alternative culture, has denied all the allegations against him. Brand found an audience with his roguish behavior and outspoken style. However, Brand has performed a hard shift into wellness content and conspiracy theories in recent years. This, as well as a number of unsavory public incidents, saw him lose almost all of his mainstream momentum.
Amid speculation surrounding his sexuality, Dwight Howard has told people to “stay out my damn business”. “What happens in my bedroom is my business. What happens in yours is your business,” Howard argued in a social media post. It comes after the likes of Stephen A. Smith and Ma$e took to their respective shows with massive audiences to preach about the salacious details of Howard’s private life.
However, as many people noted online, only half the story is being told in Howard’s latest post. It’s not just Howard’s sexuality that is being questioned. Howard has been accused of sexually assaulting a man at his home. Howard has formally denied sexually assaulting model Stephen Harper. However, he did not deny inviting Harper to his home for a threesome, which allegedly involved a cross-dresser named Kitty. Furthermore, Harper alleges that he was forced to perform sexual acts on Howard and that Howard performed non-consensual acts on him after he objected to participating in the account. Howard has been sued by Harper but has not been formally charged with a crime.
Meanwhile, influencer and author Masin Elije has reportedly broken an NDA to speak out against Howard. “He goes to sex parties and preys on younger men, which is why he originally why he threatened, forced, and tried to intimidate me into signing a NDA,” Elije wrote on social media. Furthermore, Elije claimed that they had also been harassed by the aforementioned “Kitty” in 2018.
Furthermore, the likes of Stephen A. Smith have theorized that the lawsuit filed against Howard by Harper is the reason that Howard is not in the NBA this season. The ESPN personality made his claims on the most recent episode of The Stephen A. SmithShow, becoming visibly disgusted while reading Harper’s account of what Howard did to him following an invitation for a threesome at Howard’s home.
As we have reported extensively over the last couple of days, Dwight Howard is facing some serious sexual assault allegations. The allegations come from a man named Stephen Harper, not to be confused with the former Prime Minister of Canada. Overall, the man claims he was supposed to meet with Howard for sex. However, things went left when Howard surprised the man with another man who was dressed as a woman. The person went by the name Kitty, and Howard allegedly wanted them all to have a threesome.
Subsequently, the man alleges how Howard eventually forced oral sex on him and continues to act coercively. Howard has denied any wrongdoing. Although he and his lawyer have confirmed that he did know the man and that they engaged in consensual sex. That said, fans want to get some clarity on the situation. Unfortunately, Howard is not taking this very seriously, at all. Instead, he is blaming the chatter on “haters.” For instance, in the video below, he responds to a fan asking about Kitty by just posting himself with a lion.
In another TikTok, Howard can be seen furiously typing on his electronic devices in what can only be described as a skit. The caption to the skit is, “how they want me to respond to the haters online.” Overall, it is a pretty bizarre way to handle the situation. The allegations against Howard are extremely serious. However, he isn’t taking it all that seriously. Being accused of sexual assault isn’t exactly “hating.” There are very real criminal implications being alleged.
Former Lakers Star Won’t Stop
The Dwight Howard situation is one that we will continue to monitor. Let us know what you think about all of this, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the sports world. We will always keep you informed on your favorite athletes.
Stephen A. Smith has claimed that the details of the Dwight Howard lawsuit, namely that he performed non-consensual acts on model Stephen Harper, is the reason that Howard went unsigned in the NBA this past offseason. The ESPN personality made his claims on the most recent episode of The Stephen A. SmithShow, becoming visibly disgusted while reading Harper’s account of what Howard did to him following an invitation for a threesome at Howard’s home.
Dwight Howard has formally denied sexually assaulting model Stephen Harper. Howver, he did not deny inviting Harper to his home for a threesome, which allegedly involved an individual named Kitty. Based on the accounts given by Howard and Harper, it is unclear if Kitty is a transgender individual or simply a cross-dresser. Furthermore, Harper alleges that he was forced to perform sexual acts on Howard and that Howard performed non-consensual acts on him after he objected to participating in the account. Howard has been sued by Harper but has not been formally charged with a crime.
Ma$e Focuses More On Howard’s Sexuality Than His Sexual Assault
Meanwhile, on It Is What It Is, Ma$e gave a similar conclusion to Smith. However, the rapper focused more on Howard’s sexuality than the claims of sexual assault. We gotta stop saying it doesn’t matter what happens behind closed doors because it does matter. People wouldn’t be talking about it if it didn’t matter. There’s a reason that 30 teams didn’t sign Dwight Howard,” the rapper argued. At no point in the monologue does Ma$e refer to the accusations being made against Howard.
However, it’s not the first time that Ma$e has addressed the Dwight Howard allegations. Back in August, he and Cam’ron appeared to imply that Dwight Howard’s sexuality was more of a concern than the sexual assault allegations against him. In the episode, Cam’ron claimed that days before the assault allegations were made public, Howard’s team reached out. Their intention was apparently to secure an appearance for Howard. Cam’ron then proceeded to ask his co-host how he would react. In particular, given the revelations, how he would react if he was on a team and playing with Howard. “I don’t want to say it because we’re on the air. But I would probably want Howard to have his own space,” Ma$e argued. The comment implied that he would want Howard segregated from the team due to his attraction to men.

Cam’ron appears to agree with Ma$e, bringing up a video where Odell Beckham Jr. appears to appreciate his teammates’ asses. But don’t worry, Cam’ron later clarifies that he’s not homophobic because he “got gay relatives”. However, what’s most telling is that during this entire clip, no one actually brings up the allegations Howard has been hit with. The entire conversation is done through the lens of Howard’s sexuality, not the heinous acts he has been accused of committing.
Nicki Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty is accused of sexually assaulting Jennifer Hough back in 1994. He previously took a plea deal in the case, but she alleges that he’s been violating it. Hough accuses Petty of attempting to intimidate and harass her, claiming that it’s had a negative impact on her life. Recently, she moved to amend her complaint, adding new evidence to strengthen her case.
The evidence includes various images from around the time of the alleged incident. The photos showcase wounds on Hough’s neck, as well as the knife allegedly used. Petty’s team claims that the evidence was put forth in an attempt to humiliate him to appease Hough’s lawyer. They also say that Hough and her team filing the exhibit publicly and making statements about the photos prove this. They claim that the motion was made in bad faith. Hough’s lawyer Tyrone Blackburn, however, has other ideas.
Kenneth Petty’s Alleged Rape Victim’s Lawyer Claps Back
He claims that Hough has been accused of lying, now gaining the opportunity to prove her case with new evidence. “Now, [Hough] has secured confirming evidence… she is somehow ‘acting in bad faith,’” he explains. “If anything, [Hough] is acting in good faith, as she is solidifying a position that she has had concerning the rape in 1994, which is that she did not ‘lie on that man [Defendant Petty].”
“Petty did not come forward to clear the record when his wife went on her Queen Radio program and accused [Hough] of lying,” Blackburn also adds. “Accused [Hough] of being a white woman, saying ‘white equals right,’ and disgustingly insinuating that Plaintiff is comparable to Carolyn Bryant, the white woman who wrongfully accused Emmett Till.” Hough has also filed a $20 million lawsuit against Petty for allegedly harassing her over the years to recant her allegations. Keep an eye on HNHH for more updates on Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Petty.
FIFA has announced they will be launching an investigation into allegations of misconduct against Bruce Mwape. Mwape is currently the head coach of Zambia’s Women’s National Team and has been since 2018. Zambia, appearing at the Women’s World Cup for the first time, recorded a victory against Costa Rica but failed to qualify for the knockout stage. Allegations against Mwape first arose in September 2022, when the Football Association of Zambia announced it had referred allegations of sexual abuse to FIFA. Following Zambia’s exit from the tournament, The Guardian published a report claiming that Mwape had been seen rubbing a player’s chest in a sexual manner two days before the game against Costa Rica. Furthermore, an anonymous player claimed that “if he [Mwape] wants to sleep with someone, you have to say yes.”
The allegations against Mwape and others have overshadowed Zambia’s historic moment. It was the first time that any senior national team from the African nation had appeared at a World Cup. Furthermore, Zambia came away with the nation’s first-ever win as well. A press conference before their match against Spain ended early because reporters refused to stop asking questions about the allegations.
“FIFA takes any allegation of misconduct extremely seriously. Furthermore, the organization has a clear process in place for anyone in football who wants to report an incident. We can confirm that a complaint has been received in relation to the Zambian women’s national team and this is currently being investigated. We cannot provide further details regarding an ongoing investigation for obvious confidentiality reasons. Anyone who wishes to report allegations or information related to abuse in football can do so via FIFA’s confidential reporting platform. All information that is submitted to FIFA is handled in the strictest of confidence.” This statement was made to ESPN via a FIFA spokesperson
They continued. “In addition, FIFA offers support and assistance to ensure the safety of those who report a safeguarding issue, including witnesses who come forward and give testimony in FIFA Ethics cases. Where guilt is established, FIFA takes the strongest possible sanctions, including removing people from the game for life. Our track record demonstrates this.” In 2019, FIFA handed down a lifetime ban to Keramuddin Keram, the then-President of the Afghanistan Football Federation. Keram had been accused of sexually abusing several members of the women’s national team.
The American R&B singer, Trey Songz, has been the subject of a slew of sexual assault allegations spanning over a decade. The first of many reported physical assaults occurred in 2012 when Songz allegedly struck a woman at a strip club. These incidents have led to a number of out-of-court settlements, numerous charges, and raised eyebrows on the singer’s conduct.
In 2016, Songz pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor counts for assaulting a police sergeant and injuring a cameraman with a thrown microphone. The resultant 18-month probation period and required anger-management classes evidently did little to deter future allegations of violent behavior. Further incidents against the rapper would lead to arrests in 2021.
In 2017, actress Keke Palmer accused Songz of using sexual intimidation to force her into appearing in a music video. This was a claim that Songz denied. Speaking to People in 2023, Palmer explained how moments in her visual album Big Boss related to her experience of sexual assault in the music industry. These would include her alleged altercation with Trey Songz. “Those scenes are real. Those scenes are not actually inspired by that moment,” she said. “Obviously, people know that moment and are aware of that scenario from when it happened and when I spoke about it.
“But that just goes to show, that was one of many moments where things go down in this industry. Not always did I say something, but I said something in that particular situation because my likeness was being used. And I’m just a business person in that regard. But as far as being in an uncomfortable situation as a woman, where I’m either being sexually harassed, intimidated or just being made uncomfortable in a space that’s dominated mostly by men, those are very real people, and that’s a very real, accurate situation. And there are countless others.”
Andrea Buera And Jahuara Jeffries
In 2018, Andrea Buera alleged that Songz had choked her at his Los Angeles home, but the case was dropped after Songz’s legal team presented information that contradicted Buera’s account. That same year, Jahuara Jeffries accused Songz of attempting to sexually violate her at a Miami nightclub, per The Daily Beast. The lawsuit, originally settled for $10 million, was later dismissed. The lawsuit would later be refiled, with Jeffries then seeking $20 million in damages.
Ariel Mitchell, the attorney for Jeffries told The Daily Beast in 2021: “She doesn’t want to hide behind the Jane Doe, she doesn’t want to be ashamed of what happened to her.”
The site also reported that “Jeffries claims she met Songz at a New Year’s Eve party held at Diddy’s Miami mansion before they continued the night at E11EVEN. Jeffries, who was wearing a dress with a high slit, claims that she felt ‘fingers being inserted into her vagina.’ When she turned around, she allegedly saw an intoxicated Songz ‘pulling his hand away from her bottom.’”
Trey Songz: High-Profile Accusations And Public Response
The allegations against Songz did not gain significant public attention until 2020. Instagram model Celina Powell and her friend Aliza made claims in a 2020 podcast interview that drew significant mainstream attention. Both women accused Songz of abusive behavior. Powell alleged that Songz coerced her into unwanted activities, and Aliza stated that Songz urinated on her without her consent.
In 2021, an investigation was launched by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department into Songz over alleged sexual assault at a hotel. According to NBC News, the investigation was dropped the following year. However, it has since been stated that it could be reopened with new evidence.
Dylan Gonzalez
WNBA player Dylan Gonzalez tweeted in December 2021 in a since-deleted message, labeling Songz as a rapist. She later revealed on Instagram that she suffers from “unbearable PTSD.” This was due to an alleged rape by Songz in a Las Vegas hotel. Gonzalez would encourage other alleged victims to speak out.
In February 2022, an anonymous woman filed a lawsuit accusing Songz of raping her. This alleged incident took place at a house party in Los Angeles back in 2016. The lawsuit was dismissed due to the statute of limitations expiring.
In April 2022, Megan Johnson came forward with allegations that Songz sexually assaulted her. This allegedly occurred at a party in Connecticut in 2013, TMZ reports. Johnson’s attorneys, who also represent several other accusers of Songz, have sent a demand letter on her behalf. The Connecticut State’s Attorney’s Office opened an investigation into Johnson’s allegations in June 2022.
A Pattern of Denial
Throughout these allegations, Songz and his representatives have consistently denied all charges. Songz and his team would often suggest that the victims are attempting to extort him for fame and money. The allegations seemingly continue to mount. This raises most potentially serious questions about the singer’s behavior. Beyond that, it raises questions about the systemic issues that allow such alleged abuses to potentially occur.
MMA fighter Conor McGregor has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman after Game 4 of the NBA Finals on June 9. According to the woman’s attorney, her client was assaulted in a bathroom at the Kaseya Center. The allegations were detailed in a letter to McGregor, the NBA, and the Miami Heat. After being separated from her friend by security guards, the woman was taken to a men’s bathroom where McGregor was waiting for her. McGregor reportedly “violently kissed” the woman before reportedly forcing her to perform oral sex on him. Furthermore, she allegedly only escaped after elbowing McGregor repeatedly when he allegedly attempted to sodomize her. McGregor has denied all the allegations made against him.
The alleged victim reported the incident to the police on the morning of June 11. Miami PD has since confirmed to TMZ that they have been investigating the incident for most of this week. In her letter, the woman’s attorney stated her client was seeking a settlement as opposed to litigation.
TMZ Releases Pre-Incident Footage
TMZ has reportedly obtained footage that appears to show the moments before the assault reportedly occured. McGregor is seen leaving a bathroom with his personal security, taking a woman by the hand and leading her back into the bathroom. The footage appears to contradict claims that the victim was forced into the bathroom by arena security. However, the footage does corroborate details about security preventing anyone from entering or exiting the bathroom after they go inside.
The woman’s attorney provided additional context, stating her client had been partying with McGregor earlier in the night and believed she was being taken to his hotel. In response to the video, McGregor’s attorney issued a statement.”After the video was released by TMZ, the claimant’s lawyer now has changed her story. Mr. McGregor welcomes the investigation, which he firmly believes will show the claims against him are false. After not responding to the demand for money made by claimant’s counsel, she turned to the media to apply pressure. This is no more than a shakedown.” This is a developing story and we’ll have any updates here at HotNewHipHop.
