Tyler, The Creator Taps Lil Yachty For le FLEUR* Season 2 Commercial: Watch

Tyler, The Creator isn’t just one of music’s most visionary minds right now; his talents extend far beyond his biggest passion. Moreover, he recently released a commercial promoting the second season of his le FLEUR* luxury brand, an offshoot of his Converse collaborations and his Golf Wang brand. In the clip, the Hawthorne, California native stars as one of many crash-stricken bus passengers, all of whom are wearing the stylish and stunning new pieces for this drop. If you watch the video below and are interested in copping something, items from the collection will be available in select brand stores on Saturday (December 9), whereas it will fully be available online the following Wednesday (December 13).

However, one of the most notable parts of this ad is who else rode with Tyler, The Creator in that bus. At one point, the promo clip shows his good rap friend, the one and only Lil Yachty, in his new clothes. It’s quite the lavish but unsurprising link-up, as both artists expressed a lot of admiration for each other over the past year or so. Hopefully this isn’t the last fashion crossover that we see from them.

Tyler, The Creator’s le FLEUR* Season 2 Ad With Lil Yachty: Watch

What’s more is that Lil Yachty isn’t the only rap star to shout out the former Odd Future frontman recently. For example, Offset recently revealed to GQ how he influenced his solo album. “It was a year ago, at the Roc Nation brunch,” he said of his interaction with Tyler, The Creator. “I was telling him my vision of being a standout artist and a solo artist and reinventing myself. I was glorifying him, telling him, ‘I respect how you stay in character [for each album].’ He was like, ‘You should do it, too. N***as ain’t going to f**k with it at first, but n***as never f**k with the good s**t first. They always sleep on it, and then you show them throughout the process.’ I really took that s**t to head.”

Meanwhile, when it comes to the rap game, the Let’s Start Here creative is currently drumming up some controversy for his comments on negativity within it. It’s one of a few blasted statements he recently made on the culture right now, and it’s inspired a lot of debate. One thing’s for sure, though: these two stars love hip-hop, and despite doing so much more than just that genre and music in general, they are never afraid to speak their mind on it and push for higher quality– both within themselves, within each other, and with every other artist. “Inside Job” Season 2 Cancelled By Netflix, Twitter Reacts

If there’s any platform that has an undeniably impressive selection of original content, it’s Netflix. Over the years, the streaming service has created various fan-favourite shows and movies, though not all of them get the attention and respect they deserve. Of course, nothing lasts forever, but users certainly didn’t think we’d be seeing the end of Inside Job so early.

If you’re not familiar, the animated adult series is a conspiracy comedy that’s been markedly described as “a sendup of the ’90s sci-fi drama, ‘The X Files.’” Voice actors attached to the project include Lizzy Caplan and Christian Slater, as well as Clark Duke. It initially debuted in October of 2021, with the following eight episodes landing last November.

As per Deadline, the show chiefly takes place in the offices of Cognito Inc. The organization further exists within a shadow government, and our main characters are anti-social tech nerd Reagan Ridley and her pal Brett Hand. Together, they work to eventually uncover the infinite secrets of the world “hidden in the shadows.”

A second season of Inside Job was previously green-lit in the summer after much success. However, it appears the streamer has since changed its tune on the project, and will no longer be moving forward with new episodes.

The sad news was correspondingly confirmed by creator and showrunner Shion Takeuchi on Sunday night via Twitter. “I’m so heartbroken to confirm that Netflix has decided to cancel season two of ‘Inside Job,’” she told fans in her post.

“Over the years, these characters have become real people to me. I’m devastated not to be able to watch them grow up,” she later added.

Almost immediately, social media users consequently let their distaste for the decision well known. Across hundreds of tweets, they’ve specifically threatened to “never forgive” Netflix. Some are even joking about visiting the platform’s HQ to “talk,” with weapons in tow.

Check out Twitter’s reaction to the upsetting cancellation below. Afterward, tell us if you were looking forward to Inside Job season two in the comments.

squidgame

Netflix has announced the next round of Squid Game.  On Sunday, the streaming giant revealed the record-breaking Korean drama has officially been green lit for a second season.

The series creator also released a statement about the renewal saying, “It took 12 years to bring the first season of “Squid Game” to life last year. But it took 12 days for “Squid Game” to become the most popular series ever.”

The tweet also includes a tease of some new characters the show’s fans can expect to see.

“The man in the suit with ddakji might be back. You’ll also be introduced to Young-hee’s boyfriend, Cheol-su.”

Last year, Netflix disclosed the show had been viewed one-point-65 billion times in its first 28 days to become its most watched series ever in English language or non-English language.

In an interview with “Vanity Fair” last month, the series creator said the second season may not premiere until late 2023 or even until 2024.

Netflix did not confirm or give word on a air date.
