Natanael Cano And Junior H’s Label Accuses Rolling Loud California Of Being ‘Racist’ After The Acts Were Removed From The Lineup

Rolling Loud California 2024’s lineup has been reduced by two major international acts. Although the multiday event features headliners Nicki Minaj, Post Malone, Future, and Metro Boomin, several special guests were slated to hit the main stage.

Today (March 11), Rancho Humilde CEO Jimmy Humilde revealed that its artists Natanael Cano and Junior H would no longer perform at the show as previously promoted (Cano on Friday, March 15, and Junior on Sunday, March 17). In a post shared on Humilde’s official Instagram page, the label executive accused the organizers of being racist.

“Rolling Loud canceled us last minute,” he wrote. “And what’s crazy is that the majority of ticket buyers are Raza! They f*cked with the wrong fool.”

However, in a statement shared exclusively with Rolling Stone, a representative for Rolling Loud refuted the claim. “Unfortunately, Natanael Cano and Junior H will not be performing at Rolling Loud California 2024,” the representative said. “Natanael Cano did not obtain the necessary work permits or visas to enable him to perform at the festival. Junior H will not be performing due to several breaches of contract, including the festival’s radius terms.”

This isn’t the first lineup hiccup Rolling Loud California 2024 has faced. When the event was initially unveiled, Lil Uzi Vert’s name appeared on the official flyer. Immediately after sharing the promotional graphic, Lil Uzi Vert stated that they were not performing at the festival. Shortly after, Future and Metro Boomin signed on as Sunday’s headliners.

Kanye West And Ty Dolla Sign Have Been Added As Rolling Loud California 2024 Headliners

At this point, it would be malpractice to assume everything Kanye West, who legally changed his name to Ye in 2021, posts online is true. Vultures 1, the first of what is expected to be a three-part joint project from Ye and Ty Dolla Sign, has been promised, then delayed several times — drawing ire from the likes of the album’s distributor and Donna Summer’s estate in the process.

However, there was an exception to the rule this morning (February 15). Ye posted an updated Rolling Loud California 2024 lineup poster with ¥$ (Ye and Ty Dolla’s name as a duo, apparently) now listed as the top headliner. “VULTURES COMING TO ROLLING LOUD,” Ye captioned the post.

Within minutes, Rolling Loud confirmed Ye’s post on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “YE leaked it before us [three fire emojis].” Rolling Loud also posted the updated 2024 lineup on Instagram alongside the caption, “VULTURES HEADLINING NEW THURSDAY NIGHT @kanyewest @tydollasign [bald eagle emoji, fire emoji]. All three day pass holders will be automatically upgraded to a 4 day pass. All single day purchasers will receive an email tomorrow with a special link to upgrade to a 4 day pass! New purchasers must purchase 3 day pass to receive access to Thursday night.”

Rolling Loud California previously announced its 2024 lineup with headliners Nicki Minaj, Post Malone, and Future and Metro Boomin.

The annual festival will be staged from Thursday, March 14, to Sunday, March 17, at Hollywood Park Grounds in Inglewood, California. Find more information here.

Rolling Loud Is Headed To Austria In 2024

Rolling Loud is easily one of the biggest festivals in all of hip-hop. Overall, there have been some great moments over the years, and there will continue to be for years to come. The festival is 10 years old next year, and they are looking to do something truly special. Of course, the festival has expanded significantly over the past few years. It started out in Miami and then went over to California, New York, Toronto, and even overseas. In 2024, the entire Rolling Loud brand is looking to up the ante, and today, they made a huge announcement.

Next summer, the festival is going to Vienna, Austria for Rolling Loud Europe. This is going to be the only Rolling Loud to take place in Europe next year. The days for the festival are July 5th to 7th. Meanwhile, pre-sale for the tickets will begin on December 13th. Furthermore, more tickets will go on sale here, as of December 15th. Austria is a beautiful country, and this will make for a unique backdrop for the festival. Only time will tell what the lineup will be for this celebration of contemporary hip-hop.

DaBaby Claims $200 Million Loss From Rolling Loud Incident Turned His Life Around

DaBaby had himself an unfortunate incident at Rolling Loud back in 2021. Overall, he gave fans a homophobic rant that eventually went viral. Subsequently, he lost a whole lot of brand deals and for a while, his career seemed dead in the water. However, over the course of 2023, he has been able to rebuild his image a bit. His music has gotten a bit of success with his latest releases and he has also started directing music videos for other artists. Needless to say, he is doing well for himself.

Recently, DaBaby was a guest on Shannon Sharpe’s show, Club Shay Shay. During this appearance, the two got to speak on a plethora of different topics. Overall, it was an interesting conversation in which the artist spoke on his fateful Rolling Loud performance. Ultimately, he claims that he was going through hard times when it took place. However, the entire thing taught him about himself and it has since put him in a better headspace.

DaBaby Tells All

“I don’t regret anything that I done been through,” DaBaby said. “It feels so good to be able say that and mean it. I done probably said that before but I ain’t mean it. It’s like ‘Boy I wish I had …$200 million, y’all robbed me.’ I don’t feel like that. I really feel like that’s a blessing in disguise at this point in my life and I just came to that realization in the past two weeks.”  It seems like the artist has grown a lot from what went down. Although we would love to know where he ended up getting that $200 million figure from.

Future & Metro Boomin Step In To Replace Lil Uzi Vert At Rolling Loud California

Future and Metro Boomin are cooking right now. Overall, the two are set to drop an album called Metro Pluto. Although there is no exact timeline for the release, some fans are holding out hope that it will arrive before the end of the year. However, no one would be mad if it came out next year. After all, these two always make heat together, and fans would rather the album be perfect. If you were to ask both of these artists, they would probably say the same thing.

As far as hints that the album is coming, well, Metro has been showing off numerous pictures from the studio. Furthermore, Metro and Future were just added as headliners to the Sunday date of Rolling Loud California. Of course, this is an interesting addition when you consider how Lil Uzi Vert was originally in that slot. However, Uzi noted that they never actually agreed to go to Rolling Loud. Hence why Future and Metro Boomin were given that slot instead.

Future x Metro Boomin

The fact that Future and Metro are going to be at the festival pretty much confirms that they do have something coming. After all, why book an artist if they have nothing new to perform? These two have an extensive back catalog, but it is still infinitely more interesting to see them perform new stuff. Hopefully, this assumption is correct, and we get an announcement about a new album sometime soon. Only time will tell what both of these artists end up doing.

Rolling Loud California unveiled their 2024 lineup on Tuesday, November 14, but the highers-up may have been so eager to drop some names that they added some names that hadn’t yet been confirmed, or perhaps even courted. One was Lil Uzi Vert. The rapper took to their Instagram Story to say, “I never said I was doing Rolling Loud,” adding, “Don’t understand why my name is on here.”

As of Wednesday afternoon, November 15, Uzi’s name is no longer on the list. The festival posted an updated lineup poster, with Future and Metro Boomin replacing Uzi as Sunday headliners.

The festival is scheduled to take place at Hollywood Park in Inglewood, California (surrounding SoFi Stadium) from Friday, March 15 to Sunday, March 17, 2024. Nicki Minaj will handle headlining duties on Friday, followed by Post Malone on Saturday. The full lineup can be found here.

Rolling Loud California’s presale is scheduled for Thursday, November 16, beginning at 10 a.m. PST. An general public sale will follow on Friday, November 17, at 10 a.m. PST. The festival’s official website lists ticket options as follows: 3-Day GA, 3-Day GA+, 3-Day VIP, 3-Day VIP + Munchie Pack. There is also an option to book a hotel here.

Rolling Loud is kicking off 2024 with a bang. Today (November 14), the festival conglomerate announced their line-up for Rolling Loud California 2024, which will take place over the course of three days at the Hollywood Park Grounds in Inglewood next March.

The line-up for Rolling Loud California boasts some heavy hitters, with Nicki Minaj, Post Malone, and Lil Uzi Vert billed as headliners. However, there has been a bit of confusion regarding the talent.

Is Lil Uzi Vert performing at Rolling Loud California 2024?

According to the official flyer, Lil Uzi Vert is set to perform on Sunday, March 17, closing out the festival. However, earlier today, Uzi took to their Instagram stories to express confusion over the Rolling Loud California 2024 announcement.

They shared a picture of the Rolling Loud announcement, with text over it reading “I never said I was doing rolling loud don’t understand why my name is on here.”

At the time of writing, there has been no announcement from Rolling Loud or Uzi regarding Uzi’s removable from the line-up. So, fans can look forward to seeing Lil Uzi Vert perform at Rolling Loud California next March (for now, anyway).
