Roddy Ricch Quite Literally Kicked A Fan Off The Stage At A Show In Switzerland

Roddy Ricch has been a busy man over the last month. Over the last 30 days, he’s released a new EP, titled The Big 3, and shared a video for “Real Talk” with Mustard. He also delivered a strong performance at Something In The Water where he used his time on stage to salute Lil Keed, Nipsey Hussle, and more. Speaking of performances, Roddy Ricch recently brought his talents to Switzerland for the Openair Frauenfeld Festival. It was here that Roddy quite literally had to kick a fan off the stage during his set.

It went down as the Compton rapper was performing “The Box,” his Diamond-selling record from his debut album, Please Don’t Excuse Me For Being Antisocial. As he performed the song, a fan ran onto the stage, but they were quickly taken down by security. It was at that moment that Roddy approached the scuffle, but in an attempt to get into contact with him, the fan tried to grab the rapper’s leg. Roddy reacted by seemingly kicking the fan repeatedly before they were removed from the show. Roddy cooly returned to performing at the festival once the fan was offstage.

You can watch the incident with the fan in the video above.

Bino Rideaux Unites With The Late Drakeo The Ruler On His New Mixtape, ‘Sorry 4 Tha Wait II’

Drakeo The Ruler might be gone, but his legacy lives on. While he wasn’t yet a household name when he died late last year, Drakeo’s impact has become more evident every day in the months since through the rappers he influenced and the music he left behind. A prolific artist who released music almost as quickly as he created it, Drakeo’s got enough banked verses to keep posthumous releases flowing for the foreseeable future.

One of those verses appears on “Heartless,” a song from fellow LA rapper Bino Rideaux‘s newly released mixtape, Sorry 4 Tha Wait II. A sequel to the original 2019 Sorry 4 Tha Wait tape, the follow-up came out today via Do What You Love Records and Def Jam. Bino certainly qualifies as one of the rappers who carries on Drakeo’s torch, embracing an independent, DIY ethos and blending old school and contemporary LA sounds in his music.

In addition to Drakeo, Bino’s new tape also includes appearances from more of the Los Angeles area’s main attractions, including rising Compton rapper Kalan.FrFr, Roddy Ricch, another Hub City native, and Ty Dolla Sign, the unofficial heir to Nate Dogg’s hook crooner crown. You can check out “Heartless” above, the full tape here, and the video for “If You Ever” below.

Roddy Ricch And Mustard Cruise In The Desert in Their Boastful ‘Real Talk’ Video

After fans weren’t really feeling his second album, LIve Life Fast, Roddy Ricch went back to the drawing board and returned with a new EP, The Big 3, getting back to basics and resetting ahead of his plans to follow-up his fan-favorite mixtape series Feed The Streets with a third installment this year. On the EP, he reunited with Mustard, the producer behind some of his biggest hits, and together, the dynamic duo dropped some “Real Talk” for their longtime fans.

In the new video for “Real Talk” released today, the Compton and Long Beach natives take it to the dusty dunes of the California desert, cruising with a small fleet of Ford trucks in perfect formation. Roddy sits at the lead, rapping from atop the hood of a Mercedes-AMG. In a separate scene, the rapper and DJ stand on a mirror reflecting the crystal blue sky, resulting in some stunning imagery. And finally, in the video’s third act, they both perform on a makeshift basketball court at sunset, a striking shot made more poignant with Roddy’s Nipsey Hussle tribute shirt. It looks like Roddy’s bounceback is in full effect.
