Fans believe Pharrell was unhappy with Drake dissing him on the track, “Meltdown,” which prompted Lamar to call out Drake for doing so on his song, “Euphoria.” In the old video, Pharrell shares some advice for Lamar.

Following the release of Lamar’s Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, Pharrell labeled him one of the greatest songwriters of his generation during an interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music 1. “Kendrick is one of the greatest writers of our times, and he is a great writer because he knows how to be very disciplined with a subject matter,” Pharrell explained. “He knows that stickiness is important, and he knows that it has to feel great. So when we were making Mr. Morale, I watched the rhythms hit him and I watched it just bubble to the surface, whatever the song was making him feel, and I watched him commit to that, and I watched him stay disciplined. He’s different.”

Today, a clip from his interview has resurfaced and is now going viral on Twitter/X. This is namely due to the footage of Diddy allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie CNN released yesterday.

In the clip, Williams explains that for him, “race is not where the line is drawn” in response to backlash for speaking negatively about another Black man. “All of these big d*ck deviants is all catching hell in 2024. It’s up for all of them, it don’t matter if you Diddy or whoever you is… All lies will be exposed, that’s all,” he added.

Recently, for example, X users dug up an old clip of Joe Budden dissecting the lyrics to Drake’s track “Teenage Fever” from his 2017 mixtape, More Life. In a clip making its rounds online, Budden insinuates that Drake could have been rapping about a teenager on the song, though Rory and Mal seemed to disagree. “Y’all gonna look back one day and say, ‘Ah, it was right there,’” Budden says.

In the clip, Nicki’s seen holding a microphone as Usher plays bass, but that’s not what got Boosie up in arms. At one point in the clip, Usher kneels down and proceeds to repeatedly bump his shoulder and head into the femcee’s backside, finishing the stunt off with a smack. Notably, Nicki gave Usher a serious side-eye after the fact, though he just continued to perform as if nothing had ever happened.

While some fans think Nicki’s reaction indicates that she was upset by the bizarre act, others believe that it was all just a pre-planned part of the show. Boosie Badazz strongly disagrees, however.
