“Last night I saw my beautiful grandbaby (11) dance in the front of almost 70 thousand people ! She killed it and was as cool as a cucumber! Blue Ivy Carter [five red heart emojis] No Fear [two red heart emojis],” Tina Knowles-Lawson posted to Instagram over the weekend.
Beyoncé added to the praise on Monday, May 29, with her own Instagram post highlighting her daughter’s stellar moment.
“My beautiful first born [prayer hands emoji],” the all-time-most Grammy winner captioned her carousel. “I’m so proud and thankful to be your mama. You bring us so much joy, my sweet angel.”
The Renaissance World Tour is setting up shop at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for five shows, beginning Monday night. The other London concerts are scheduled for Tuesday, May 30; Thursday, June 1; Saturday, June 3; and Sunday, June 4. See all of Beyoncé’s upcoming dates here.
Natalia Bryant, the 20-year-old daughter of late NBA icon Kobe Bryant, works alongside Beyoncé as an intern. The Jasmine Brand notes that Bryant has been named an internet on the Renaissance tour.
The full name of cast members was recently released, showing the University of South Carolina student listed among the batch of contributors.
Beyoncé started her RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR with a sold-out concert in Stockholm, Sweden’s Friends Arena. The show featured powerful dance music from her seventh studio album, RENAISSANCE, which has been widely successful.
It was an emotional return to the global stage, after a five-year hiatus, and the performance was mesmerizing for the 46,000 fans in attendance. The concert included songs like “PLASTIC OFF THE SOFA,” “COZY,” and “BREAK MY SOUL” from the new album, as well as iconic hits from Beyoncé‘s previous discography such as “Flaws And All,” “Crazy In Love,” and “Love On Top.” The concert lasted almost three hours.
Parkwood Entertainment is producing the 2023 tour, which comprises 56 dates and is being promoted by Live Nation. The tour will continue with a second night in Stockholm, followed by additional shows throughout Europe in May and June. Beyoncé will perform five sold-out shows at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium before heading to North America for shows in July, August, and September.

Beyoncé’s massive Renaissance Tour is currently making its way across Europe, and fans are loving it. Between her dressing up as an actual bee to riding around on a tank, she pulled out all the stops on this one once again. The shows also wouldn’t be anything without the backup dancers, who have been with her through the rehearsal process and beyond.
Yesterday, the full credits for the tour were revealed — giving even more insight into who’s on her crew.
Here is everything to know about Beyoncé’s dancers during this tour.
Who Are Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour Dancers?
Les Twins, also known as twin brothers Laurent and Larry Nicolas Bourgeois, returned to join another Beyoncé tour. The two appeared during the “7/11” interlude, starting at her opening night in Stockholm. They also returned to dance with her to “Thique.”
Honey Balenciaga has been another popular favorite of the tour dancers. She notably appears during the Ballroom segment, as well as some additional musical numbers. On Beyoncé’s website, she is credited as part of The Dolls, alongside Carlos Irizarry, Darius Hickman, and Jonté Moaning.
Another notable credit is the Dance Captain, Hannah Douglass.
Beyoncé’s full rest of the list of dancers include Aahkilah Cornelius, Ai Shimatsu, Aliya Janel, Alannah Wilhite, Amari Marshall, Brianna Pavon, Kyndall Harris, Lisa Sainvil, Nerita McFarlane, Simone Alston, Trinity Joy, Jus’t Chase, Kevin “Konkrete” Davis Jr., Rob Bynes, and Zavion Brown.
What Have Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour Dancers Said About The Tour?
Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour dancers talking about the actual tour has been a little hard to find. However, Les Twins have spoken about her in past interviews, regarding how she chooses dancers for musical numbers. “Before, we was in every number,” they told Revolt TV. “After that, she was like, ‘I want you in just this one, this one, and this one.’ Two-hour show, I come only three times. She’s like, ‘You’re a star to me. When you come through, it’s a wrap. You cannot be in every number.’ And I started to understand.”
How Much Do Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour Dancers Get Paid?
While it’s unclear how much Beyoncé’s dancers are also getting paid on this tour, it is likely higher than before. Back in 2020, Rolling Stone had reported that her and other high-profile artists weren’t giving dancers very much. Her choreographer, JaQuel Knight, has previously pushed back against reports of her also only paying $250-per-day at shoots.
“Please run me the production company, the choreographer, the shoot dates, the dancers that have rehearsed and are shooting for these rates,” he responded. And, considering it’s a full tour rather than a shoot, there’s likely a high salary set.
But on Wednesday, May 17, Beyoncé credited everyone making her Renaissance World Tour go. As expected with a tour this massive, there are a lot of names. People especially noticed one name, though: Natalia Bryant, the 20-year-old daughter of Los Angeles Lakers icon Kobe Bryant, who tragically passed in January 2020. Bryant is listed as an intern for Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment.
The Renaissance World Tour is in Cardiff, Wales, UK on Wednesday night (May 17) before jetting to Edinburgh for a show this Saturday, May 20. Beyoncé will begin her North American leg in Toronto on July 8-9 and end it in New Orleans on September 27.
Beyoncé didn’t need Mother’s Day to make her mom, Tina Knowles-Lawson, feel special. Knowles-Lawson can turn on “Savage Remix” any day and hear her daughter assert, “And my mama was a savage, n****, got this sh*t from Tina.”
But Beyoncé was performing to a sold-out Baudoin Stadium in Brussels, Belgium on Sunday, May 14, for her recently launched Renaissance World Tour, so why not uplift her mama (and all moms) even more on Mother’s Day?
“Happy Mother’s Day to all of the beautiful mothers,” Beyoncé said to the crowd in a fan-captured video posted by a Renaissance World Tour Twitter account.
The all-time-most Grammy winner posted to Instagram a projected photo of Knowles-Lawson above the Renaissance World Tour stage and a video of Knowles-Lawson having the time of her life backstage, dancing along to Beyoncé’s iconic line about her from “Savage.”
“Happy Muva’s Day,” Beyoncé captioned her Instagram post. “I love you so much Mama and I’m so grateful for all you do for me.”

Knowles-Lawson appeared to enjoy her Mother’s Day, as she also posted from Belgium. Her Instagram post is a video of her view from the floor of Baudoin Stadium, dancing as Beyoncé started performing “Love On Top.”
“This audience is the best yet !!! Love them !!! [red heart emoji],” she captioned it.
Global cultural icon Beyoncé started her RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR with a sold-out concert in Stockholm, Sweden’s Friends Arena. The show featured powerful dance music from her seventh studio album, RENAISSANCE, which has been widely successful.
According to an analysis of Google search data by fashion site Nasty Gal, there has been a significant increase in online interest for “metallic cowboy boots” after the first night of the Renaissance tour, with a surge of 488%. Additionally, Google searches for “silver cowboy boots” have also risen 300% globally within the past day, along with searches for “disco cowboy hat” which are up 525% and resemble the one from the Renaissance tour poster.
According to analysis of Google search data, searches for ‘silver bodysuit’ and ‘silver corset’ have surged by 426% and 669%, respectively, since the first night of the tour. In addition, there has been a 203% increase in searches for ‘thigh-high boots’, which was inspired by the ruched white thigh-high boots worn by GEDEBE on stage and worn by Beyoncé herself.
A spokesperson for Nasty Gal commented on the findings: “Beyoncé’s highly anticipated Renaissance tour is finally upon us, and for those fans lucky enough to get their hands on the coveted tickets, the perfect Beyoncé-inspired outfit is also needed for the night.
“Google searches for the term ‘Renaissance tour outfits’ have increased by 658% in the past seven days, suggesting that the first night of the tour has urged fans to look for outfit inspiration that reflects the Renaissance album’s futuristic-cowboy aesthetic. These increases in searches tell us exactly what everyone is wearing to the tour, with many fans wanting to emulate Beyoncé iconic and daring style, so expect to see plenty of chromatic cowboy boots, head-to-toe silver, and disco-embellished cowboy hats on your tour date.”

Though Beyoncé has only performed one night of her Renaissance World Tour, the Queen Bey has the Beyhive abuzz. During the first stop of the tour at the Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden, Bey performed the songs from the Renaissance album live for the first time. She also gave the audience a taste of the album’s long-awaited music videos. But one of her crew members gave fans some piping hot tea.
In a TikTok clip shared by a fan who was in attendance at the Stockholm show, one of her crew members teased that Bey has plans to shoot a film of the concert.
“We’ll be [in Houston] for two days, and we’re gonna be shooting a movie there,” the crew member is heard saying.
As Bey is known to work in secret, she has not directly commented on the matter.
If this is true, the filming will take place on September 23 and 24 at NRG Stadium, in her hometown.
This wouldn’t be the first time she’s released one of her concerts to be available for home viewing. In 2019, she released Homecoming, a documentary of her 2018 Coachella performance, on Netflix. In 2014, she premiered her joint On The Run tour with JAY-Z on HBO.
Beyoncé fans are known for being some of the most enthusiastic in the music world. But there’s such a thing as being a little too enthusiastic — as one fan apparently learned at the singer’s Renaissance World Tour, which is currently winding its way through Europe.
There’s a video circulating among Beyoncé fans online of a fan who was apparently arrested during the concert for allegedly sneaking into the “Club Renaissance” section — a sort of VIP section with a “VIP concierge team and onsite hosts.” Unfortunately, it seems the fan was unaware that “concierge team” also probably means “top-flight security.”
The Renaissance World Tour has generated more than its fair share of headlines and potential drama in just two days. At the kickoff show, fans wondered whether Queen Bey had shaded the creators of Swarm, the buzzy Amazon show based on the over-the-top antics of certain members of her BeyHive fan base.
Meanwhile, the concert itself finds her addressing fans’ thirst for music videos from the album while her father reflects on her drive for stardom. Fans shared photos of the tour program, which included a handwritten setlist, and fawned over her lustrous, custom tour wardrobe, which even found her dressing as a bee and fully embracing the camp elements baked into the drag ball concept of the album.
We’re sure more Renaissance World Tour news will continue to trickle out as the tour continues, but for now, just remember: Unless you paid to get into Club Renaissance, it’s best not to test your luck.
The Donald Glover-produced Amazon show Swarm was one of the most talked-about television/streaming events of the year so far. Fans were blown away by the Black woman anti-hero tale, from its controversial opening sex scene with Chloe Bailey to its guest starring turns from Billie Eilish and Paris Jackson to its mind-bending ending. But because it was so closely associated with Beyoncé, even the show’s creators were worried about its reception from the real-life Swarm analog, Beyoncé’s infamous fanbase, the Beyhive.
Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour just had its first show, and fans can’t help but wonder whether the queen herself responded to Swarm during the concert. Dressed as a bee and posted up next to one of those “on air” signs you see at movie studios and radio stations, Beyoncé seemingly shouts into the mic, “Swarm on these hands, n****!” — which is one of the top ten funniest things anyone has ever said. What does that even mean!?
Fans can’t help but wonder the same thing. The short, elusive clip above doesn’t really offer much context for the statement, and there appears to be some disagreement on just what Beyoncé is actually saying in it. For instance, she could be saying “Swarm on these Ms,” as in, millions, which would probably make more sense. But the Hive is feisty and loves a good internet fight, even if they have to reach and contort reality to get it — I mean, that’s what the show was about in the first place!
So, no, Beyoncé probably wasn’t shading Swarm or its creators, Donald Glover and Janine Nabers, but hey, if they need inspiration for season two, I’m sure they can wrangle something out of this. Now, that’s entertainment.

Beyoncé opened her Renaissance World Tourat Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden on Wednesday, May 10, and suddenly, the Beyhive had plenty of reasons to forget their collective displeasure over Beyoncé holding back the Renaissance visuals since the album’s July 2022 release.
The Renaissance World Tour featured Beyoncé in all her glory, and one person on Twitter did the Lord’s work by documenting every single outfit Queen Bey wore on stage throughout her all-encompassing set.

Voguerelayed that Beyoncé’s custom looks were designed by Anrealage, Jonathan Anderson, Olivier Rousteing for Balmain, David Koma, and more.
“Overall, the tour feels like a fabulous embodiment of the techno and ballroom-infused sound of Renaissance, which Beyoncé has described as an ode to dance music and queer culture,” Vogue‘s André-Naquian Wheeler wrote. “They also continue the singer’s streak of ostentatiously avant-garde couture fashion for the album’s innovative visual campaigns. A teaser for ‘I’m That Girl,’ which runs a little under two minutes, featured a chaotic flurry of over a dozen custom looks by Schiaparelli, Balenciaga, and others. Beyoncé is well and truly in her fashion girl era.”
Members of the Beyhive who weren’t present for opening night in Sweden have another chance at Friends Arena tonight, May 11, before the Renaissance World Tour moves to Brussels, Belgium on May 14. See all of the dates here.
