Beyoncé And Amazon Music Released Another ‘Renaissance World Tour’ Collection, Including Four Tees And Stickers

Earlier this month, Beyoncé began the North American leg of her Renaissance World Tour. While fans in Pittsburgh unfortunately had to grapple with the cancelation of their Acrisure Stadium show, other stops have been astounding successes. Jack Harlow introduced his mom to Queen Bey in Louisville, and last weekend the tour was credited with reportedly single-handedly boosting Chicago’s economy.

Of course, the Beyoncé economy extends to the internet. On Wednesday, July 26, Amazon Music released its Drop 2.0 of Renaissance World Tour merchandise, which represents “the second of the four-part exclusive online collection that is being released throughout the North American leg.”

Drop 2.0 includes the “Alien Superstar” tee ($35), “Virgo’s Groove” tee ($35), “Heated” tee ($35), “Summer Renaissance” tee ($35), and the Renaissance World Tour sticker pack ($30).

The latter item “comes with 16 black-and-white graphic stickers, each with their own unique design,” and each tee takes its name from track on Beyoncé’s acclaimed July 2022 album, Renaissance. The full collection is available here.

The Renaissance World Tour landed in Detroit, Michigan for Wednesday, July 26, before tackling back-to-back nights at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on July 29 and July 30.

Initially, the North American leg was to end in New Orleans on September 27, but the Kansas City, Missouri date had to be rescheduled due to “production logistics and scheduling issues, as reported by Deadline. It will now serve as the finale on October 1. See all of the dates here.

Beyoncé Finally Shared An Update On The Much-Desired ‘Renaissance’ Visuals, But It’s Not What You Might Think

It’s been almost a year since Beyoncé dropped her critically acclaimed seventh album, Renaissance. While the album has spawned radio and viral hits like “Break My Soul” and “Cuff It” — as well as fan favorites like “Plastic Off The Sofa” and “Virgo’s Groove” — there’s still one missing component that makes a Beyoncé era, a Beyoncé era: The visuals.

At the time of writing, just about a week ahead of the album’s first birthday, Bey has yet to drop a single music video for any of the songs on Renaissance. And over the course of the past year, she’s remained rather tight-lipped about the clips. But this past Monday (July 17), she seemingly broke her silence about the visuals.

In a clip from the Louisville, Kentucky concert stop on the Renaissance World Tour, Bey, apparently in response to a fan’s sign asking about videos, is seen telling fans, “You are the visual, baby,” to which the fans respond with cheers.

This isn’t the first time Bey has opted to keep nonchalant about the visual components of her album eras. While her 2016 album Lemonade was accompanied by an hour-long short film, many fans waited with bated breath for a documentary of the Formation World Tour.

In an Elle interview from 2019, she revealed that Prince inspired her not to document the tour, and told fans that the show exists within themselves.

“Years ago, I asked Prince to record my rehearsal with him for our Grammy performance,” said Bey. “He said, ‘You don’t need to record that. You own that in your mind.’ Haaaaaaa! Prince always knew best! So, you can always watch the Formation World Tour in your mind; you own that!”

You can see a clip from the Kentucky show above.

Don’t Film Jay-Z Doing The Electric Slide At Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour

Don’t film Jay-Z doing the Electric Slide with his mom during his wife Beyoncé‘s Renaissance Tour shows. The rap mogul caught a fan capturing the family moment (during Beyoncé’s Cameo-sampling cover of Maze’s “Before I Let Go,” naturally) and put a stop to their voyeurism with a gesture, but that didn’t stop the fan from uploading the video — which still went pretty viral on Twitter thanks to the Jay-Z Daily account. I guess it’s kinda like the Barbra Streisand Effect.

Still, you can’t blame Jay for being a little protective. After all, while the rapper himself is used to becoming a meme for his awkward head-nodding and chronic lack of athletic ability, that’s his mom. She’s probably one of the few people on the planet who can make him cry, so if he can keep her from becoming fodder for some of the mean jokes people like to make online, you know he will.

But, in this case, it seems the fan captured a wholesome moment and the responses have been accordingly upbeat. Commenters are mostly praising Jay for being such a fan of his family and remarking on the cultural ubiquity of the dance/song combo, and noting how good he’s gotten at spotting surreptitious cinematographers. And hey, he may not be the best diver, but his steps are ON POINT.

Check out some of the responses below.

Jay-Z Stops Fan From Recording His Electric Slide At Beyonce Concert

With over 25 years in the limelight, Jay-Z has a sixth sense for the paparazzi or, at the very least, when cameras are hawking him. The Brooklyn star became quite lowkey in the years that preceded his billionaire status. These days, the rapper’s been enjoying the glamorous life of a world tour without actually having to touch the stage. Throughout Beyonce’s Renaissance World Tour, Jay-Z has been spotted in the crowds, catching a vibe and supporting his family, including his first-born daughter, Blue Ivy, who came out throughout Bey’s European dates as a back-up dancer.

After months of anticipation, Beyoncé finally launched the North American leg of the Renaissance World Tour. On Saturday (July 8th), Bey performed at the Rogers Center in Toronto, Canada for the first date in North America. As expected, fans spotted Jay-Z in the crowd, but at one point, the rapper was trying to catch a peaceful vibe. His mother, Gloria Carter, and other family and friends joined Hov on the exclusive VIP platform. However, one fan attempted to capture footage of him, which he swiftly shut down.

Jay-Z Does The Electric Slide

While Beyonce performed “Before I Let Go,” Jay-Z and his mother, Gloria Carter, began to do the electric slide. With a glass of champagne in his hand, Hov hit smooth moves before he spotted a fan filming him. At that point, the rapper put the person filming on notice, eloquently raising one finger as an indication to stop. The fan immediately obliged and Jay-Z presumably went back to doing the electric slide.

Beyoncé concluded her second night in Toronto on Sunday (July 9th). Next up will be Philadelphia, Nashville, Louisville, Minneapolis, and Chicago, where she’ll perform back-to-back shows at Soldier Field. The tour will also see Beyonce hit New Jersey for three nights at the MetLife Stadium, as well as cities like Detroit, Charlotte, and Atlanta. We’ll keep you posted on anymore updates surrounding Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour. Check out the footage of Jay-Z above and sound off with your thoughts in the comment section below.

Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance’ Tour Stop In Pittsburgh Has Been Canceled Due To Logistics Issues

Beyoncé fans in Pittsburgh received some disappointing news today. When the superstar’s long-awaited Renaissance World Tour finally makes its North American swing this week, it’ll do so one show shorter. The August 3rd Pittsburgh stop has been removed from the schedule as the Acrisure Stadium announced that due to production logistics and scheduling issues, the date there will not be taking place. Refunds are being automatically issued — but that hasn’t stopped the BeyHive from expressing some serious discontent.

The Renaissance World Tour has drawn some major headlines over the past couple of months as it set venue records in seven stadiums across Europe and supposedly raised the inflation rates in Sweden. Beyoncé’s daughter Blue Ivy made her debut as one of her dancers, stealing the show, and there were even baby sex reveals on stage during the show. Pittsburgh fans probably shouldn’t return those pickups from the Amazon-exclusive merch collection just yet, though; the show will undoubtedly be rescheduled for a later date.

Even knowing this, there’s still a stan war brewing in the quotes on Acrisure Stadium’s tweet, as Swifties boast about the perceived “win” as Taylor Swift continues to add new dates to her ongoing Eras tour.

Beyoncé Dropped A Limited-Edition Renaissance Tour Merch Collection Via Amazon

Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour has been eventful, to say the least. Fans were arrested, Blue Ivy stole the show, and Lizzo got her entire life, all while Bey narrowly avoided wardrobe malfunctions and raised inflation rates in Sweden. US fans who weren’t able to travel to Europe for the first part of the tour have been anxiously awaiting Beyoncé’s return to the States, but in the meantime, she’s got something to hold them over: An exclusive, limited-edition merch drop with Amazon Music.

The collection — or at least, the first part of it, judging from that “1.0” in the tweet above — includes a sweatshirt, pants, and two t-shirts emblazoned with the now iconic image of Beyoncé astride a glistening horse from the cover of the album. The sweatpants simply feature the name of the tour down the side, but they sure do look cozy (they might just get more utility as workout gear than the last Ivy Park drop). I fully expect to see this drop sell out sooner rather than later, so get it while the gettin’ is good. Both t-shirts are $40, the sweatshirt is $80, and the pants are $75, so now may be the time to factor those prices into your budget for the tour.

Lizzo Shows Up Hyped For Beyonce Concert

Celebrities love showing their support for other celebs. The places we’ve learned that best are on recent major arena tours like Taylor Swift’s and Beyonce’s. At a recent show in Warsaw, Beyonce had one special fan in particular at the concert. Video circulated of Lizzo in the audience enjoying Yonce’s show. The “About Damn Time” singer was particularly excited to hear Beyonce play “Church Girl.” She sang along to the Renaissance deep cut in a video making the rounds on social media. The video went viral just a few hours after a different video from the show. That clip showed Zendaya and Tom Holland in attendance at the same show.

As many celebrities have shown up to the Renaissance Tour Beyonce has still firmly been the center of the show. Throughout the shows, she’s debuted dozens of new flashy outfits. The performances themselves have been evolving from stop to stop as well. In a recent performance, she was narrowly saved from a wardrobe malfunction. The quick thinking of one of Beyonce’s long-time collaborators saved the superstar from what could have been a painful mishap.

Lizzo Sees Beyonce Live Again

Longtime Lizzo fans won’t be surprised to see her at another Beyonce show. She’s always been a massive fan of Queen B and has consistently spoken highly of the influence she has on her own sound and style. Later on social media, she divulged that she’s seen Beyonce live 10 times. She’s officially made it 11 with this new concert she attended in Warsaw.

Earlier this month Lizzo was confirmed as a headliner for this year’s Made In America Fest. The fest’s other headliner is her good friend and frequent collaborator SZA. The pair have been linked repeatedly this year following SZA’s remix of Lizzo’s song “Special.” SZA also recently came to the defense of her against online bullies in a recent series of tweets. SZA also made an appearance in Lizzo’s HBO Concert Documentary earlier this year. What do you think of Lizzo popping up at a Beyonce concert? Let us know in the comment section below.
