Enchanting Remembered Fondly By Fans Following Her Tragic Passing

Yesterday was a tough one to get through for a lot of hip-hop fans. Earlier in the day on June 11, a stunning report came through that 1017 labelmate, Enchanting, was on life support. No further information was provided, but the news was broken by the rapper and singer’s sister Kayy Jayy via Facebook. On top of her sister, family, and friends going through it, multiple publications were reporting that she had already passed on. However, Kayy Jayy immediately shut down the rumors, saying, “Can y’all stop posting you have actual facts. She’s still fighting, she’s not dead… I’m here at the hospital. My sister is not dead”. Sadly though, the worse result imaginable happened, as Enchanting lost her life not too long after being taken off life support. Fans and artists have been in shock over this news, as a lot of them saw true potential in Enchanting.

There is already a massive X (formerly Twitter) thread of her supporters shedding light on how much she left ahead of her. Many are recognizing that she was incredibly versatile, being able to shift from mellow R&B to aggressive trap rap. Others are just having a hard time mustering anything, as Enchanting’s death happened out of nowhere. You can see the overflowing love and adoration for the 26-year-old below.

Fans Recognized Enchanting Was Next Up

Enchanting felt that her talents were undeniable, showing that she was ready to take over and show the world what she had to offer. She expressed that in a 2023 interview with the Dallas Observer, explaining, “I feel like music was always something that was easy for me. I felt like I was musically inclined, always. It was something that I thought should probably put more time and effort into, because it was natural, you know, instead of trying to force a talent”. That God given ability to create and inspire will certainly never be lost in the minds and hearts of her fans and the community at large. We continue to send our sincerest condolences to Enchanting’s loved ones during this difficult time.

What are your thoughts on Enchanting’s passing? Were you excited for what she was becoming in the hip-hop industry? Was she next up under the tutelage of Gucci Mane? What is your favorite song from her? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your thoughts in the comments section below. Saweetie Tears Up Recalling Her Come-Up Before Making It In Hip-Hop: Watch

Almost every person on the planet knows that making it in the music industry is slim to none. However, if you look a certain way, some people are automatically going to assume that were set up for success. It seems that stigma gets placed on women especially from trolls and haters online. Unfortunately, the saying “sex sells” is quite accurate, at least in the United States. It is probably safe to assume that Saweetie puts up with people coming after her throughout her now established career.

But those rumors should be shut down now, especially after Saweetie got real about her come-up. The hitmaker joined the Brown Bag Mornings show on Power 106 to discuss her rough situation. In the first clip below (second slide), Host Letty Peniche gave credence to Saweetie’s struggles, mentioning how she was living out of her car. The callback to those times got Saweetie pretty emotional.

The “NANi” creator admitted that she was too prideful to tell her loved ones her couch-to-couch living scenario. Her friends were more than accommodating, offering her to live with them. However, she did not want to be a burden. Saweetie was able to make light during the interview saying that when it was time to party with them, she did not have to go home. Eventually, she built up enough money to rent a room and that is roughly the time she began to write “ICY GIRL.” On it she raps, “Looking in the mirror, I thank God for what I’m ’bout to be.” Saweetie told the interviewers that lyric made it in the song because she was uncomfortable lying about where she was in life. “I can’t even pop s***,” she said. Now, she can and we are so proud of her for coming so far!

What are your thoughts on Saweetie getting emotional about her come-up in the music industry? Is she one of the best female MC’s we have right now, why or why not? What songs are your favorites from her and why? Do you think we will get her big project sometime this summer? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Saweetie. PnB Rock Turns 32: Remembering Why He Was Able To Bring Great Vibes On Tracks Like “Lovin’”

The 2017 XXL Freshman Class is one of the best in recent memory. Sadly, we have tragically lost two of some of the very best along the way. XXXTENTACION and PnB Rock. Today, we celebrate what would have been the Philadelphia native’s 32nd birthday. Born Rakim Hasheem Allen on December 9, 1991, he was always able to provide listeners with great vibing music.

He was known by many for his hit song “Selfish” from his debut tape, GTTM: Goin Thru the Motions. But, he was much more than that. The R&B singer was a father to two beautiful daughters, Milan and Xuri Lee. Unfortunately, they will have to carry on without him after he was fatally shot during an armed robbery back in September 2022.

Relisten To “Lovin’” By PnB Rock And A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie

We wanted to take the time to look back at one of Rock’s best tracks, to help continue to keep his legacy in people’s minds. One of those we can never forget is “Lovin’.” This song, featuring his close friend A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, landed on his debut album Catch These Vibes back in 2017. It has some of the best writing and perhaps the best beat as well. The bouncy production almost gives a bit of a throwback vibe. We continue to send our thoughts and prayers to Rock’s family and friends.

What were your initial thoughts on PnB Rock’s track, “Lovin’,” from Catch These Vibes featuring A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie? Was this the best, or at least one of the top-tier songs from this project? Where does this cut rank amongst the rest of his hit songs? Was the 2017 XXL Freshman Class one of the best of all time? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind, be sure to leave all of your hottest takes in the comments section below. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for any news surrounding PnB Rock.

Juice WRLD Turns 25: He Had Everyone Enamored With What He Would Eventually Become On “Lucid Dreams”

Not every rapper who touches a microphone is destined to leave behind a lasting impact on the genre. There are just some who have a little extra something that almost every listener can get behind. One of those names was Juice WRLD. Born in the talent-rich city of Chicago back on December 2, 1998, Jarad Higgins was essentially an immediate success.

He broke through in 2018 with what many hip-hop heads and Juice fans would agree is his best album. It would be his debut LP, Goodbye & Good Riddance. It has almost officially been five years since its release on December 10. This may also be Juice’s hit-filled tracklist. You have tracks such as “All Girls Are The Same,” “Wasted” with Lil Uzi Vert, “Lean Wit Me,” and countless more. But, without a doubt, “Lucid Dreams” is Jarad’s magnum opus.

It was the song that put him on the map. Especially, with Lyrical Lemonade assisting in the production of the music video, it was a surefire mega song. It turned out to be just that, with over 942 million views on YouTube, 2.3 plus billion streams on Spotify, and going Diamond in February of 2022. It was so difficult to choose just one song that encapsulates what Juice meant and still means for hip-hop. But, that in and of itself is why he is such an icon and will be forever entrenched in the lore of the genre. Juice would have turned 25 today and we at HNHH wanted to remember him for everything he has done. Our thoughts and prayers continue to go to his family and friends.

What were your initial thoughts on Juice WRLD’s hit song, “Lucid Dreams?” Where does this song rank for you amongst the rest of his biggest tracks? Will anyone else in the emo rap scene be able to replicate the impact he has left behind? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind, be sure to leave all of your hottest takes in the comments section below. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest breaking news around Juice WRLD.
