Post Malone Reveals Title And Release Date For New Album

Post Malone has become a pop culture force. He got his start as a rapper in the late 2010s, but he’s managed to crossover in virtually every facet of entertainment. He has a controller emblazoned with his logo. The “Rockstar” singer made a cameo in the action remake Road House. He’s even unavoidable in commercials. And now he’s back with a brand new album for the summer. Post Malone thrilled fans by announcing the title and release date of the album on Instagram.

The rapper used a photo of a Nashville billboard to unveil the title of the album, which is F-1 Trillion. This is a play on the F-1 truck, and it follows the Post Malone convention of tweaking items or phrases to give them a new meaning. Beerbongs and Bentleys (2018) exemplifies this, as does Twelve Karat Toothache (2022). F-1 Trillion will drop on August 16th, which means fans can expect to hear a lead single sooner rather than later. The truck imagery, and the Nashville setting of the billboard, of course, suggests that Malone is going to continue to pursue a country music direction. This is a direction that he’s been going towards for the past couple months.

In November 2023, Malone told Twitch viewers he’d been recording music for a new country album. “Country album is coming,” he announced. “I keep singing a song that we made while I was in Nashville, and it’s so f*ckin’ sick, but it’s not out. We made such sick music down in Nashville. It was so much, so much fun.” The rapper also teased a country collab with Blake Shelton back in May. If any fans were in doubt that Post Malone was leaning more country, one need only look at his 2024 guest appearances. He showed up on the latest albums from Taylor Swift and Beyonce, with the latter being titled Cowboy Carter. He’s making it very clear where he’s going.

To Post Malone’s credit, he’s wanted to make country since the start of the decade. In 2021, he told iHeart Radio that his dream was to make a crossover country album. “I wanted to create something everybody can get down to,” he wrote in a statement. “People who like country will like it… People who like folk will dig it. Even people who like pop will be into it.” It may have taken the rapper longer than he expected to do it, but F-1 Trillion is now around the corner.

Common And Pete Rock Announce Release Date For Collab Album

Common and Pete Rock have made magic together. They’re two of the most venerated artists in hip-hop, with classic albums and songs dating back to the 1990s. They have nothing left to prove, which is what makes their decision to collab on an entire project so exciting. They are doing it strictly for the love of the art, and to quell the desires of fans who have spent years dreaming about a Com and Rock album. Now, we have an official release date for the album, which is titled The Auditorium, Vol. 1.

Common took to Instagram on June 11 to break the news. He revealed the album title and the release date in one fell swoop. He also gave some insight into its origins. “I am super geeked and supremely grateful to announce… The Auditorium Vol. 1 dropping July 12,” he wrote. “We pray and hope that this music will move your spirit and be with you for the rest of your life. Thanks to all who helped make it happen and to all of you for the Supreme Love. GOD Bless.” The rapper also discussed the anticipation surrounding the new album. He admitted that he felt great whenever fans voiced their excitement for such a long-anticipated collab. “It just makes me happy to be a part of this art form,” Common noted.

Common wasn’t the only one who was excited to unveil the album. Pete Rock left a comment on the post with his own message. “I honor our friendship since 91 home slice lol,” he noted. “This was a dream I had for years to come together with you on something.” The producer also hyped up the results, telling fans it is well worth the wait. “Now we get to show everyone the results after working with each other on our 1st album ever,” he added. “Man this is exciting my bro Thank you so much for this @Common.”

The duo is best known for their 1996 single “The B*tch In Yoo,” which was a diss record aimed at Ice Cube. Com and Rock discussed the diss during a recent appearance on Drink Champs. The latter went on to admit that he supported Common all the way, but was disappointed to learn that Ice Cube was mad at him. The two men reconciled when Ice Cube and Common squashed their beef in 1997. Common even gave Cube a shoutout on the album announcement, citing him as an inspiration.

Ski Mask The Slump God Confirms New Album Coming This Week

It’s about time. Ski Mask the Slump God was part of the Soundcloud generation that broke out in the 2010s. He worked closely with other Florida rappers like XXXTentacion and Denzel Curry, while at the same time carving out his own eccentric lane. His debut album, Stokeley, was a testament to this. The thing is, Stokeley came out in 2018. Fans have waited six years to hear new Ski Mask music. Thankfully, the wait is over. The sophomore album, 11th Dimension, is almost here.

Ski Mask the Slump God dropped an album teaser on June 1. The teaser opens on complete darkness, while an elderly voice asks the rapper where he’s been. Then there’s a hard cut to his face in close up, which is shrouded in darkness. The elderly voice continues to question Ski Mask’s absence. “They are asking where you are,” the voice states. “Asking where you have been.” The rapper then turns his head up, showing that half of his face is scarred. “Said I’m fighting my demons,” he says, before giving us a glimpse of a verse from the album.

Ski Mask The Slump God’s Last Album Dropped In 2018

The most unexpected part of the teaser, however, comes at the tail end. The camera zooms out to show Ski Mask the Slump God sitting on the floor of an empty white room. He can be seen wearing white angel wings, and his arms are tied. Hard cut to the release date, which is June 7. This is a thrilling development for an album that was first announced in 2021. Ski Mask revealed the album title, 11th Dimension, a year later, and there have been two singles released thus far. “Shibuya” dropped in March, and “Headrush” in May.

Ski Mask the Slump God has kept his inspiration behind a secret, but he did tease a dream list of collabs for 11th Dimension back in 2021. “I want to try and have Tyler, the Creator on it,” he told XXL. “I want to try and have Don Toliver, try and have Dominic Fike. He’s somebody I’ve always wanted to work with… I want to try and work with Post [Malone] at least.” There hasn’t been an official tracklist released, so it’s unclear whether Ski Mask was able to secure any of these features for the finished product.

Future Promises He Won’t Sleep Until His New Mixtape Is Done

Future says he won’t be sleeping until he finishes his upcoming mixtape. He teased the release of the project in a post on X (formerly Twitter) early Tuesday morning. “I can’t sleep until it’s complete #MIXTAPEPLUTO,” he wrote. The mixtape will come just months after Future teamed up with Metro Boomin for the collaborative albums, We Don’t Trust You and We Still Don’t Trust You.

In the replies to his post, fans expressed their excitement for new music. “Future keeps dropping albums like rent due and I’m here for it,” one fan remarked. Another requested: “Link with DJ Esco if you can, I miss those collabs.” Other users compared his current run to 2015 when he dropped, DS2, 56 Nights, and Beast Mode.

The albums featured appearances from The Weeknd, Travis Scott, Playboi Carti, Kendrick Lamar, and many more artists while simultaneously kicking off several beefs with Drake. While the Toronto rapper, Kendrick Lamar, Rick Ross, and more have dropped further diss tracks, Future has remained silent. Don Toliver Announces “Hardstone Psycho” Release Date, Unveils Cover Art

Today, Don Toliver unleashed yet another new single set to appear on his upcoming fourth studio album, Hardstone Psycho. The performer enlisted the help of Charlie Wilson and Cash Cobain for “Attitude,” giving listeners a taste of what’s to come. The lively track arrived alongside some exciting news, an official release date for Hardstone Psycho as well as the project’s motorcycle club-themed cover art.

The album is scheduled to arrive on June 14 via Cactus Jack/Atlantic. As for the cover art, Toliver is seen posing in an edgy leather fit, holding up a large flag next to a motorcycle. His upcoming release will follow 2023’s Love Sick.

Hardstone Psycho Will Arrive On June 14

Of course, fans can’t wait to hear what else Don Toliver has to offer on his upcoming album, though this isn’t the first time they’ve gotten a glimpse of what to expect. Back in February, the hitmaker uncovered “Bandit,” setting the stage for the biker-inspired project with the song’s accompanying music video. The video also featured Toliver’s partner Kali Uchis, with whom he welcomed his first child in March. The child later appeared in his next music video for “Deep In The Water.”

Don Toliver has certainly had some exciting developments in both his personal and professional life as of late. It hasn’t been all smooth sailing for the Houston-born artist, however. Proof’s Son Playfully Warns Eminem About Dropping On The Same Day As Him

Earlier this week, Proof’s son Nasaan took to Twitter/X to jokingly warn Eminem about dropping the same day as him. Eminem had just teased the release date for some new music on Instagram, hinting that something big is coming soon.

This led many to believe the first single from his upcoming album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), will arrive on May 31. This is the same day Nasaan’s debut album, Error 404, is scheduled for release. Nasaan’s offering will feature the likes of Royce Da 5’9″, BabyTron, Icewear Vezzo, and more. He confirmed the release date earlier this month.

“@Eminem dropping the same day as me?” Nasaan wrote yesterday (May 21). “I wouldn’t do that if i was you, UNLESSSS you wanna get out sold OG.” He made it clear he was only joking, following his Tweet with another asking fans to pre-save Error 404. Eminem has yet to respond, though it’s apparent that he’s been nothing but supportive of the young rapper’s musical journey thus far.

Back in 2021, Nasaan opened up about some of the encouragement he received from the Detroit icon in a Tweet. “So cr*zy cuz I feel old af (22) and get mad I’m not a megastar but then I’ll talk to Em and he’ll be like, ‘Man, I wish I was where you were when I was your age or that advance[d] musically. Megan Thee Stallion is only days away from embarking on her eagerly anticipated “Hot Girl Summer” tour, and to get fans even more hyped, she’ll be dropping a brand new single. She first teased the track, titled “BOA,” last week. She unveiled some fun video game-inspired artwork to accompany the project at the time, though fans were still uncertain whether it’d be a single or an album. Meg played into this at first but has since confirmed that it’s only a single. She’s also revealed exactly when listeners can expect to hear it, which is very soon.

Normani Announces Release Date For Debut Album “Dopamine”

Today, Normani unleashed her eagerly anticipated track with Gunna, “1:59.” The steamy single is set to appear on the songstress’s debut studio album, Dopamine. Along with the release of the collab, Normani unveiled new details of the project, including the release date. Dopamine will arrive on June 14, 2024.

The performer already unveiled the album’s cover art back in February, only further building anticipation. If the rest of the LP is anything like its lead single, it’s safe to say that it’ll be a hit among fans, who are raving over the Gunna collab on social media. According to Normani, it feels like a culmination of the entire journey she’s taken to get to this point in her career. In a recent interview with Jasmine Fox-Suliaman for Who What Wear, she likened it to “liberation.”

“The album feels like liberation, like a season of freedom. Not just because the record is finally coming out, but because it’s a celebration of everything I have been through to get to this moment,” she told the outlet. “During this process, I heard God say to me, ‘Trust me. Kanye West Finally Reveals “Vultures 2” Release Date After Two-Month Delay

Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign dropped off Vultures 1 all the way back in February. However, since that time, they have yet to release Vultures 2. Originally, the sequel was going to come out on March 8th, while a third album would drop on April 5th. Now, we are at the end of April, and the first sequel still hasn’t arrived. Fans are obviously confused by this and have been looking for answers. Overall, they have had to piece things together through Discord groups and other leakers who claim to have some sort of in with the Yeezy camp.

Recently, Kanye West was on a podcast with Justin Laboy. During this podcast, Ye spoke up about Vultures 2 and how he and Ty have been working extremely hard on it. Although he didn’t give too much insight into the tracks and features on the album, he did give us a date. According to the clip below, Ye and Ty will be dropping their new album on May 3rd. That means the project is coming out in about 10 days, and it will fall on a Friday, like most releases do.

Kanye West Gives A Date

This date has previously been given, although it was not a date that had been confirmed by Kanye himself. Now, it appears as though fans have something truly tangible to go off of. Whether or not this actually works out for everyone, still remains to be seen. After all, Ye does have a long history of delaying projects and missing out on release promises. GloRilla Asks Fans To Pick The Release Date For Her New Project

GloRilla made an unconventional choice about her upcoming project, asking fans to pick a release date for her.“My project READY. What Friday yall want me to drop it on ?????” Glo tweeted earlier this week. However, she did not abide by the results, which is understandable as the overwhelming response was March 15. Not a whole lot is known about the project. However, it is expected to ride the success that Glo has found with “Yeah, Glo!” The track has found new levels of success. Glo recently shared a video of a pastor in Maryland quoting the song and praising Glo for her faith. Glo revealed to HipHopDX that she grew up in the church and that she still holds her faith very close to her heart.

Damian Lillard Plays Coy About GloRilla Thirsting For Him

Elsewhere, Damian Lillard refused to be baited by TMZ when asked about any potential relationship links to Glo. When asked if he was aware that the rapper had shot her shot with him, Lillard simply smiled and offered a “no comment”. Glo put her claim down on Lillard at the All-Star Game, posting up with the MVP and getting thirsty on main about her desire for him. However, speculation ran rampant amongst fans over the potential pairing.

Of course, Lillard is currently a free agent in the dating realm. In October, Lillard filed for divorce from his wife Kay’La. Lillard filed the motion in Clackamas County Circuit Court and the news was first reported by the Willamette Week. The Lillards have been married since 2021 but have been together since their college days at Weber State. However, Lillard’s filing cites “irreconcilable differences” and suggests that the couple has been living apart since December 2022. The couple have three children together – a five-year-old and two-year-old twin daughters.
