Pete Davidson Heads To Rehab Over Mental Health Struggles

Pete Davidson has reportedly admitted himself to a rehab center in Pennsylvania. Originally reported by Page Six, Davidson has been struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues in recent weeks. However, according to one friend, this is nothing out of the ordinary for Davidson. “Pete regularly goes to rehab for ‘tune ups’ and to take a mental break, so that’s what’s happening,” the friend told Page Six.

“Anyone who knows Pete knows that he will always step up and get help when he knows he needs it. He has a lot of people in his corner who love him and support him, and are proud of him. [He is] taking a well deserved break so he can focus on himself and learn to better deal with his PTSD issues.” Davidson’s father, a New York firefighter, died during the 9/11 attacks in 2001. Davidson was just seven years old at the time.

It’s been a rough couple of weeks for Davidson overall. After earning criticism for his new puppy, Davidson left a heated voicemail for an executive director of PETA. After the voicemail was made public, Davidson apologized. “It was a poor choice of words. I shouldn’t have said what I said, but I am not sorry for standing up for myself and my family.” It’s very similar to the apology Davidson was forced to make by SNL after making jokes about Republican congressman Dan Crenshaw.

Furthermore, Davidson has also been charged with reckless driving over an incident in March. Davidson was traveling with his girlfriend, Chase Sui Wonders, when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the side of a house in Beverly Hills. No one was hurt and Davidson’s toxicology report came back clean. However, Davidson could face a small jail sentence if found guilty. However, he appears to know what he’s doing to get himself back to a better place. We wish him all the best in his recovery.

Bam Magera To Enter Lamar Odom Rehab Facility

Last week, Magera was placed on a psychiatric hold after flying to LA and claiming that he was going to smoke crack until he died unless he saw his son. The detention came as a result of appeals from Magera’s family and the LAPD tracking his cell phone. After making contact with Magera at a taco restaurant, the former Jackass star was placed on a 5150 hold.

Former NBA star Lamar Odom reportedly visited Magera in the hospital on June 8. Odom, who has been very public about his own substance abuse struggles, owns three wellness and rehab centers. Two are located in southern California while a third is located in Kansas. Back in April, Odom offered Magera a place at one of his clinics free of charge after Magera turned himself into police after a four-day manhunt. However, he never went through with the treatment.

According to TMZ, Odom visited Magera in the hospital and once again offered him a place at one of his centers. This would come after the hold on Magera is lifted. According to sources with knowledge of the situation, Magera appeared received. The pair reportedly shared a hug in the hospital.

TMZ has since reported that Magera has been discharged from the hospital, with the hold being lifted. According to sources who spoke with the outlet, Magera was discharged directly in Odom’s care. He will spend a period of time at one of Odom’s facilities for an initial detox before moving to another of the former Laker’s facilities for a more long-term rehab stay.

Bam Magera has been making headlines in recent weeks. First, there was the four-day manhunt in April after Magera reportedly assaulted his brother at the family home. After turning himself in, Magera vehemently denied all the allegations made against him. More recently, Magera has been in a vicious custody battle for his son, Phoenix. Phoenix, who Magera said he was getting sober for in April, is currently under the full custody of Magrea’s ex-wife.

Wendy Williams’s Son Says He Fears For Her Life

Wendy Williams’s son Kevin Hunter Jr says that her mental and physical health is declining while she’s under guardianship. In an interview with The Sun, Hunter told his side of the story and shed some light on the events of recent months. He accuses various members of her inner circle of taking advantage of her wealth while she battles addiction. Since Williams was put under guardianship last year numerous reports have come out about her declining health.

Among his complaints is a major lack of communication with what’s going on in Wendy Williams’ life. The last time Hunter heard from his mother’s manager was when she was hospitalized last month. Since then, he says he hasn’t been updated on news of her mother’s release at all. He also wasn’t updated when Williams’ was reportedly moved out of New York. Later on in the interview Hunter even goes as far as to say that he fears for her life.

When the subject of his mother’s alcoholism came up, Hunter expressed further concerns. “I know the rate that she uses alcohol isn’t like a normal person- and we’ve spoken about it — and it’s gotten to a point where yes, it could have that effect that it might be fatal because it affects her way worse than a normal person since it stays in her system,” he says. He goes on to clarify that “it could have that effect that it might be fatal.”

Wendy Williams has reportedly been trying to progress her career in recent months. Back in April, she was seen filming at her childhood home for a forthcoming reality show. Just a few weeks ago it came to light that Williams tried to join the cast of The Real Housewives Of New York. Kevin says that his mother should “take a break from trying to progress her career and just be proud of what she’s accomplished.” The situation has already drawn comparisons to the conservatorship of Britney Spears that inspired the #FreeBritney movement. Lil Uzi Vert Reveals Just How Effective Rehab Is

Lil Uzi Vert is a beloved artist who is always being begged to release new music. Overall, they are gearing up to release The Pink Tape, which is likely to be massive. However, we actually have no clue whether or not it will be released in 2023. Instead, Uzi has been fairly quiet on that front. They refuse to give fans much insight into the album, even though many would do anything for just a little bit of information. At this point, all fans can really do is be patient and wait and see.

Recently, Lil Uzi Vert appeared on the cover of 032c Magazine. Overall, the cover story was exceptionally insightful. Additionally, Uzi opened up about having to go to rehab for seven months. As they explain, Desiree Perez was one of the people who encouraged them to join. Like many people who go into rehab, Uzi was extremely skeptical. However, it worked for the best as the artist is feeling very good right now.

“I’m lucky to have people in my life who truly care about me and my well-being. Specifically, Desiree Perez, who helped me get into this program,” Uzi said. “I didn’t want to do it, but I had to — and I can say now that it was a great thing to do. I spent seven months in rehab. The first month and a half were hard, but after that, it was easy, because the people there became my family. They showed me so many different outlets and ways to cope with life. We did a lot of group talks, a lot of writing on whiteboards.I was so sure that it wasn’t going to work, but surprisingly it’s pretty effective.”

Overall, this is a pretty great endorsement of rehab. Although some people are still not so sure about its effectiveness, let Lil Uzi Vert be the one to tell you it’s good. Regardless, we are just happy to see Uzi thriving. They are living life to the fullest, and you can’t help but be extremely happy for them. Jamie Foxx’s Friends & Family Visit Him In Rehab

Jamie Foxx has been receiving family and friends as visitors at the rehab facility in Chicago he’s been staying at in recent weeks. Foxx’s daughter, Corinne, and his close friend, Dave Brown, both visited the actor over the weekend, according to TMZ. Foxx transferred to the facility after initially being hospitalized in Atlanta with an undisclosed medical emergency. The new facility offers strokes, spinal injuries, and cancer treatments.

Corinne was the first one to confirm that Foxx had suffered a medical emergency back in April. After weeks passed with no updates, rumors began to circulate about his condition. She eventually wrote on social media: “Sad to see how the media runs wild. My dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support. We have an exciting work announcement coming next week too!”

Foxx and his daughter worked together on the series, Beat Shazam, prior to his recent health scare. In his absence, Nick Cannon is serving as the host. Jamie and Corrine also recently announced they are currently developing a new game show called We Are Family. “We are thrilled to be developing We Are Family with Jeff Apploff and our friends at FOX Entertainment after so much success with six seasons of Beat Shazam,” said Jamie and Corinne Foxx in a statement. “We hope this show brings as much fun to audiences at home as we’ve had creating it when it premieres next year.”

Despite Foxx improving day by day, fans were in a panic, earlier this month, when the outlet, Daily Loud, falsely reported that his family was “preparing for the worst.” The outlet later apologized, explaining that they failed to properly vet the source they used.

The last time we heard from Danny Brown he was admitting himself into a rehabilitation center. Back in March, the rapper and podcast host checked himself into rehab after a string of drunken tweets. Danny Brown expressed to his fans that he was voluntarily seeking treatment after filming an episode of his podcast The Danny Brown Show drunk. “Alcohol is something I need to be done with ’cause it makes me hurt the people that care the most,” Brown conceited. Danny Brown has never shied away from speaking about his addictions. Moreover, it’s one of the things that was heavily emphasized upon his ascension.

Furthermore, the SCARING THE HOES artist even had to back peddled tweets saying #FreeDanny campaign due to him being intoxicated. Additionally, Danny Brown alleged that his manager, Dart Parker, and Warp Records of delaying the release of his new tape Quaranta. According to Danny Brown, he turned in the album without any urgency from the label or management. Moreover, shortly after he urged fans to shut down the hashtag. “Aye chill out with all the #FreeDanny shit I was drunk and talking shit and that’s why my dumb ass is checking into treatment tomorrow,” he tweeted to his fans. Not only that, but Brown also added that he had no hard feelings toward Warp or his manager.

Danny Brown Says Rehab Humbled Him

However, Danny Brown has returned with a new episode of his podcast. He spoke on his recent stint in rehab head-on. The Atrocity Exhibition artist described his experience as “humbling.” Secondly, he shared that it gave him a newfound appreciation for his career and his work. Especially compared to the other patients there alongside him, the rapper mentioned how much he had to be grateful for. “Being in treatment… one thing it did do: It humbled the f*ck out of me,” said Brown.

Later he mentioned, “It made me real f*ckin’ umm… Just showed a lot of gratitude.” The rapper/podcaster made light of how cool his life really is (he’s not wrong). He also admitted that he was taking his career and life for granted after hearing others’ stories. “‘Cause a lot of these motherf*ckers that’s in there, they had drinking problems, drug problems, they gotta go back to work…. Lamar Odom Invites Bam Margera To Rehab

Lamar Odom is the epitome of a mid-major college star. After putting up 17.6 points per game for Rhode Island in the 1998/99 NCAA season, Odom was selected fourth overall in the 1999 NBA Draft. He spent four years with the LA Clippers but was cut after injury derail his third and fourth seasons. After a year in Miami, he was traded to the Lakers. He would eventually retire in 2014.

Since leaving the NBA, Odom has devoted his time to God and helping others. He owns and operates three substance abuse rehabilitation centers in Southern California. Having faced with own battle with substance abuse, Odom is now looking to help people in the same situation. And now he’s making headlines in the case of former Jackass star Bam Margera.

Lamar Odom Wants To Help Bam Margera

Bam Margera’s issues with substance abuse, specifically alcohol, have been public for many years. As recently as March 2023, he was arrested for public intoxication. However, Margera re-entered the news recently after triggering a police manhunt. Police in Pennsylvania were called to a property in Pocopson after Bam reportedly assaulted his brother and threatened to kill him. Margera turned himself in after four days on the run. He has been charged with simple assault, harassment, and terroristic threats. Margera has maintained his innocent in all charges against him. Now Odom is offering help to the former MTV star. Speaking with TMZ, Odom said he would be happy to invite Margera to one of his rehab facilities free of charge.

Odom is no stranger to substance abuse problems, having famously overdosed in a Nevada brothel in 2015. That is the incident that inspired him to get clean and help others on their own journey. “All he has to do is show up,” Odom said when asked if he would be willing to help Margera, “Only if he wants it though, that’s the most important part,” Odom continued. He concluded by saying that he loved Margera and that he should “stay strong”. It remains to be if Margera will accept the offer. It was reportedly a rehab plan that led to the confrontation between Margera and his brother last week. However, Odom has made it clear that he wants to help.

Wendy Williams Tried To Bury Relapse Reports

Wendy Williams has certainly been on an interesting journey since her show ended. On September 14th of last year, it was reported that the broadcaster Wendy had entered a rehabilitation center. Originally, it was reported that she had entered the center to address substance abuse issues. These issues were supposedly linked to her fallout with the production company Debmar-Mercury. However, Wendy’s spokesperson has contradicted these reports. They said that her treatment was focused on her overall health as she prepared to return to the media with her upcoming podcast, The Wendy Experience.

At the time, her team made a statement about Wendy’s trip to rehab. “She is taking some time to focus on her health and wellness as she prepares for a major comeback for the next level in her career with The Wendy Experience Podcast,”they said. “Ms. Williams is being treated by a team of some of the best doctors in the world. We ask for your prayers and well wishes during this time.” Since then, Wendy has been seen many times out and about in New York City. However, she has not really looked like herself. From stumbling over her words to physical stumbling, the host was looking like she probably needed some help.

Wendy’s Relapse

According to Instagram gossip blog The Jasmine Brand, Wendy has relapsed. There are allegedly insider reports that confirm the story. The insider says that Wendy asked her friends to give her clear alcohol hidden in water bottles. “She was asking for clear liquor to be brought to her in water bottles so no one would suspect it,” said the source. “She would ask, and then call repeatedly to follow up on her request.” This is in direct opposition to claims that Wendy Williams was “better than ever,” which was the story in the headlines once she checked out the rehab facility.

Wendy has also been reportedly filming a reality show recently. Very little information is available on on that front except that she was seen filming near her childhood home in New Jersey. This follows news that the podcast that Wendy’s team had been touting is no longer in production. The reasons for that are unclear.
