Kai Cenat Breaks The Twitch Subscriber Record For The Second Time

Back in March 2023, Kai Cenat was the guy when it came to streaming, particularly on the Twitch platform. That was thanks to his first-ever Mafiathon subathon event. A streamer who goes by Ludwig had the subscriber record prior to Kai, but he emerged with the most with over 306,000. According to Dexerto, the New York native would go on to keep the lead up until September of this year. That’s when Ironmouse would overtake him with her annual charity subathon. She would actually obliterate his subscriber count by 20,000 plus. Fast forward to this month where Kai would begin his second Mafiathon to sit atop the rankings again.

To aid in this mission, he brought on many high-profile guests, particularly in the hip-hop world. Quavo, DDG, Lil Uzi Vert, Denzel Curry, Kodak Black, and GloRilla were just a few. However, the journey was not all sunshine and rainbows for Kai. Just a couple of days into the streaming marathon, multiple swatting attempts were made at his home. It led to authorities showing up on his property mid-livestream and he even dealt with a short ban in the process. But the 22-year-old was able to persevere, and now, he’s reached the mountaintop.

The multi-media talent was halfway toward the goal of Ironmouse’s 326,252 just three days in. Now, with more than half the month of November to go, he eclipsed that mark, and his reaction is both wholesome and well-deserved. In the clip from DJ Akademiks, all of his closest friends were there to support and cheer him on as the subscriber count grew rapidly. In the midst of the celebration, he surpassed the number by over 800.

“Two times!” Kai repeatedly shouted after seeing his goal come to fruition. Some are belittling the accomplishment, but all he deserves to hear right now is congratulations! It’s a tremendous feat for the ever-growing internet presence and with 18 days left this month, it will be exciting to follow this and see how many subscribers he gains. Cenat took the time to thank his supporters on X, saying, “LOST #1 A MONTH & SOME CHANGE AGO COMPLETELY PLANNED ANOTHER ONE IN LESS THAN 2 MONTHS AND CAME BACK AND WE GOT THE WORLD RECORD AGAIN,” he began. “I LOVE ALL MY SUPPORTERS FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART JOB STULL NOT FINISHED ONLY DAY 11!”

Kendrick Lamar Has Drake Fans Feeling Bored After “Not Like Us” Breaks Another Record

Here we go again… Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” has broken yet another Spotify record once held by his rival Drake’s 2018 hit, “God’s Plan.” This time, it’s for the fastest rap song ever to surpass 700 million streams on the platform, and you probably already know the discourse around it. K.Dot fans are rejoicing in the victory, and OVO fans want Kendrick to thank the 6ix God for his success. Either way, both groups are arguing with each other over pointless numbers talk. Nothing will change the Compton lyricist’s victory, and it would take about 85 more tracks of this level of success to even begin to creep up on the Toronto superstar’s numbers on DSPs.

What’s more is that their post-beef movement is also further polarizing fans into making judgement calls about the Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef, confusing their preference for either artist as analysis on the isolated battle itself. The former popped out for a Juneteenth show and music video, keeping quiet throughout it all. The latter just dropped a new set of tracks which many believe he’s using to try to revive his various 2024 feuds. So folks are either labeling this as desperate or are fully content with just the existence of new music regardless of quality… Such is the state of public discourse in this year’s music culture.

Kendrick Lamar Breaks Another “God’s Plan” Spotify Record

Kendrick Lamar fans even pointed to him predicting some of Drake’s new angles on these IG drops, although that’s just a speculative theory up for interpretation. That’s just one example of how this beef became more about fans versus fans rather than rapper versus rapper ever since “The Heart Part 6” dropped. Another is how Drizzy’s every move has fallen victim to public scrutiny, irremovable from the context of the battle in many’s eyes. Much like Big vs. ‘Pac and Jay vs. Nas before them, we’re now at the exhausting point in which the least talked about parts of their rivalry are their actual lyrics against each other.

For hip-hop culture and music fans at large, this is a pretty disappointing level of animosity. At least many folks instead focused on both the gang unity that Kendrick Lamar promoted and on Drake’s commitment to giving fans what they love from him. But for every new record that “Not Like Us” breaks in the future – and trust us, it will – fans will once again display their blind support in full colors. Many lines from the battle have aged like fine wine, but “Hey, Drake, they’re not slow” is certainly on the opposite end of the spectrum for both extreme fanbases.

Jay-Z & Beyonce Lose $200 Million Real Estate Record To Founder Of Oakley

Jay-Z and Beyonce are undoubtedly the king and queen of the current day music industry. From selling millions of records to packing arenas and all of the entrepreneurial endeavors, they really run things around here. However, what they cannot add to their nearly unbeatable resumes is being in possession of the most expensive house in California. According to HipHopDX, Jay-Z and Beyonce have just lost the real estate record to the founder of Oakley, James Jannard. Multiple reports say that the head honcho over at the sportswear company recently sold his $210 million Malibu mansion, surpassing Hov and Bey’s $200 million palace in the same suburb.

Jannard purchased the luxurious pad for $75 million back in 2012 (back when the market was much more reasonable). It apparently possesses eight bedrooms, 14 bathrooms, on top of 9.5 acres in land, which includes 300 feet of ocean frontage. Furthermore, the new owner will also be able to enjoy an expansive courtyard, in addition to a gym and two guesthouses. According to the New York Post, Jannard’s spot has never hit the open market and the person behind this lavish purchase is still unknown.

Jay-Z & Beyonce Are $11 Million Short Of The Real Estate Record

In terms of other fun facts surrounding this new record holder, the interiors were mapped out by Michael S. Smith. He was responsible for making tweaks to the Oval Office at the White House. So, not only is there unforgettable views on the outside, but the inside has also just as much to offer. Congratulations to Mr. Jannard on the eye-popping sale!

Kendrick Lamar Breaks Yet Another Drake Spotify Streaming Record With “Not Like Us”

You probably already heard of Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” breaking Drake’s “God’s Plan” record for the fastest rap song ever to garner over 100 million Spotify plays. As such, maybe it’s not that surprising that K.Dot broke this exact record, but for 200 million Spotify streams this time in just 19 days. Of course, numbers don’t mean much in the actual battle, but many predicted that the Toronto superstar would at least outperform his Compton rival commercially. If nothing else, it’s just very impressive to see, and regardless of “Not Like Us” getting all the attention, every song in this whole beef did wild numbers that both artists should be very happy with.

After all, it’s not every day that a surprise feature on a Future and Metro Boomin project leads to you making three new songs that generate revenue, if we’re excluding the IG-exclusive and since-removed “Taylor Made Freestyle.” This also comes as fans continue to either boast about Kendrick Lamar’s perceived victory or defend Drake against the haters. As for the former category, some overzealous Stans played “Not Like Us” at an OVO store recently. Regardless of who you think “won” this exchange, biased meat-riders definitely took an L on both sides.

Kendrick Lamar Breaks Another Drake Record On Spotify

Also, this new record-breaking moment comes as Drake made his return to new music after the Kendrick Lamar battle settled down. Still, he kept the story going, as he partially rapped over Metro Boomin’s “BBL Drizzy” diss beat on Sexyy Red’s “U My Everything” off of her new project, In Sexyy We Trust. Obviously, this evoked one of Mr. Morale’s lines off of “Euphoria”: “When I see you stand by Sexyy Red, I believe you see two bad b***es.” If a “bad b***h” churns out hits and carefree verses for cash, that doesn’t sound so bad.

Jokes aside, the jury’s still out on whether this feature helps Drake recenter in the long run or if it just makes him look more goofy. No matter the case, Kendrick Lamar is still dominating with “Not Like Us,” and the hip-hop world is still hotly discussing the feud. Down the line, we’ll get to the point where everyone’s over it. But according to Spotify streams, it is not this day.

“COWBOY CARTER” Streaming Numbers Set 2024 Record, Beyonce Glows In Western Garb: Photos

Beyonce hinted before unleashing COWBOY CARTER that she had much more than just a country album in store for us, and she didn’t disappoint. Throughout the 27-track LP, the Houston native explores genres like bluegrass, Jersey club, pop, rock, hip-hop, and even mixes in some operatic runs just to flex her vocal range. Since she first confirmed that the second act of her RENAISSANCE trilogy would pay homage to her Southern roots there’s been a lot of curiosity – so much so that COWBOY CARTER has already managed to break records on various streaming platforms.

As Billboard reports, Bey’s eighth studio album is Spotify’s most-streamed album in a single day so far this year as of Friday (March 29). One of its first singles, “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM” had already racked up over 200M streams before COWBOY CARTER‘s big debut. Elsewhere, Amazon Music is celebrating some major wins for the mother of three on their platform. “[It has] the biggest debut to date earning more first-day streams on Amazon Music globally than any of her previous albums. The album also marks the most first-day streams for a country album by a female artist in the history of Amazon Music,” the outlet declares.

Her W Magazine cover shoot is particularly eye-catching, with textures like ruffles and leather drawing us in. As of now, the “Baby Boy” songstress doesn’t have any visuals for either RENAISSANCE album. Still, we can’t wait to see what she’s planning for those and the rumoured rock-centric act iii.

If you’re reluctant to listen to COWBOY CARTER but still want to see what all the hype is about, we suggest streaming “SWEET HONEY BUCKIIN.” The infectious song connects Beyonce with Pharrell Williams and Shaboozey to give us a taste of the former’s femcee side that we’ve been craving. Caitlin Clark Extended Record-Shattering $5 Million Offer From Ice Cube’s BIG3: Details

When you think of college basketball as a whole this year, Caitlin Clark is the name that immediately comes to mind. With her range unlimited both literally and figuratively, she is destined for greatness in the WNBA when she undoubtedly goes number one overall. For those wondering, the Indiana Fever hold that pick in the draft. The Iowa Hawkeye guard and her squad are in the midst of a quest to snatch the March Madness title. They are currently four games away, as they look to advance past the five-seeded Colorado Buffaloes in the Sweet 16 Saturday March 30. Everyone’s eyes are on Caitlin Clark, especially Ice Cube and the BIG3, according to TMZ Sports.

The competitive 3-on-3 basketball league has extended an outlandish offer to the all-time leading scorer in NCAA history. Cube is willing to pay Clark $5 million to play a possible 10 games after the NCAA tournament. However, she does not have to forfeit her WNBA dream either. Apparently, only two of the Indiana Fever’s game would interfere with the BIG3 schedule too. Cube expressed that he wanted to keep this a secret, but he is also so excited about this possibility as he sees this as a win-win for women in sports and the BIG3.

Ice Cube Thinks Caitlin Clark Would Transform Basketball Even Beyond The BIG3

While this is a big deal on face value, what else makes this contract so massive for Caitlin? Well, the highest paid WNBA player last season was Erica Wheeler, making $242,000. There is a good chance she would earn more than that based on her talent. However, millions of dollars are most likely not going to happen unfortunately. Additionally, Clark would become the first female hooper in the BIG3. That alone could have a ripple effect for other talents at the collegiate or pro level. More is sure to come on this in the coming weeks, so stay tapped in with us going forward.

What are your thoughts on Caitlin Clark receiving $5 million to play in Ice Cube’s BIG3 basketball league? Should the Iowa Hawkeye star take the offer, why or why not? How much could this help future female athletes? Will they win the March Madness tournament? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Drake Celebrates “One Dance” Becoming His First Song To Reach 3 Billion Streams

Early today we found out that Drake’s 2011 album Take Care was robbed of its diamond certification by the RIAA. Numerous reports said that it reached the certain number of units sold to reach that milestone. However, they corrected that saying roughly eight million copies have been purchased. However, when it comes to Drake, this type of stuff rarely phases him. He is so successful that another achievement is sure to come down the pipeline. That happens to be the case today, as one of his hit songs has hit a tremendous streaming goal. “One Dance” becomes his first record ever to eclipse three billion streams.

According to HipHopDX, Drake got a text from his OVO Sound president Mr. Morgan, who is hilariously labeled “Man Like Morgan” in his phone. He congratulated his biggest name on the label on the achievement. You can check that out below. To celebrate this, Drake tagged Wizkid and the song’s producers Noah “40” Shebib and Nineteen85.

What also makes this so special for the Toronto legend is how elusive this mark is to reach. Only six other songs have had the opportunity to join the three billion club. The Weeknd did it with “Blinding Lights” and “Starboy.” Post Malone and Swae Lee’s Spiderman-prepped “Sunflower,” Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You,” Lewis Capaldi’s “Someone You Loved,” and Harry Styles’ “As It Was,” accomplished it as well. It sort of goes without saying, but this proves that Drake can really work in any genre and come up with a catchy tune that resonates years later.

What are your thoughts on Drake’s “One Dance” hitting three billion streams? Is this your favorite non-rap song from Drizzy, why or why not? Is this his greatest hit track because of this milestone? What will be his next record to eclipse that number and why? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Drake. Finally, stay with us for everything else going on around the world of music.

Nicki Minaj Nabs Another Record-Breaking Achievement With “Big Foot”

Nicki Minaj’s new Megan Thee Stallion diss track is doing very well, and if nothing else, at least this beef is bringing these femcees a lot of commercial success. Moreover, the Trinidadian MC recently took to social media to bask in her latest broken record. “Big Foot” officially claims the biggest Spotify debut for a solo song from a female rapper in 2024. “O….my… I’m really happy about breaking this record, you guys,” she captioned a new Instagram post celebrating the accolade. “This is SOOOOOOOOOOO unbelievable, yo. THANK YOU. LOVE YOU. #PinkFriday2 #BigFoot. Dear #BARBZ, you are loved & adored & appreciated & admired & absolutely amazing. I’m not even kidding I love you & thank you so much. If you only knew.”

However, in the comments section of this post, you will see a lot of people trashing Nicki Minaj’s “Big Foot,” as well as plenty of praise. Still, a lot of the most engaged-with comments are about how this song is disappointing or about how she’s crashing out. While we can’t make these judgements this early into the spat, it’s fair to say that these sides manifested well before either artist chose to attack on wax. As such, it’s hard to find a corner on the Internet where there isn’t equal parts love and hate for the two, and since we’re talking about rap beef, neither rapper should lament that.

But the question still stands: who’s winning, Nicki Minaj or Megan Thee Stallion? The latter still hasn’t responded to the former with a song, which might be an automatic loss for many. Regardless, there are also plenty of people who think the Houston hitmaker won outright with her “Megan’s Law” line, even if that also brought up its own controversy around its namesake’s history and Meg’s use of it. Let us know what you think on that debate down in the comments below.

Meanwhile, we’re sure both superstars will continue to celebrate the success of their tracks, but the fan jury’s still out. It’s been 24 hours without an apology from Megan to her mother, and the Barbz’s leader still hasn’t made “s**t uglier than KenBarbie” as threatened. Will we ever wrap this up in a nice bow or is this where the buck stops? To find out, log back into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Nicki Minaj.

Nicki Minaj Seemingly Responds To Wack 100 “Record-Breaker” Comments

Nicki Minaj has seemingly responded to Wack 100 claiming she’s not a record-breaking artist. “Barbz did we break any records?” Nicki posted on X on January 6. Wack had been defending Cardi B, saying she was a bigger artist than Nicki and had been for “the past 2-3 years”. It was a not a take that a lot of people agreed with. “Nicki is on her 5th album cardi doesn’t even have a second 1. Her team set her up everytime. This is why she scared to drop now she doesn’t compete where she doesn’t compare,” one person argued.

Pink Friday 2 debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, giving Nicki the most No. 1 albums amongst female rappers. 14 tracks from the album also debuted on the singles chart. However, the album only spent one week at No. 1 before being dethroned by 1989 (Taylor’s Version). Furthermore, the album set a 2023 record for an album debut by a female rapper on Spotify. While Wack is entitled to his dislike of Nicki, it’s objectively untrue to say that she doesn’t have records to her name.

However, away from his various beefs, Wack has been working on some new creative projects. Wack 100 revealed to VladTV that he is producing a new reality TV show called The Gworls Club. Notably, the show will notably feature 12 transgender contestants. The show will air on the Tronix Network, a “Zeus-style network” that is a joint venture between Wack and Ray J. Wack called the show “crazy” and said that the production of the show involved “17 shots” being “emptied in the parking lot”. Furthermore, he said the shooting incident involved the “transgenders” being “jumped by the gays”.

He also spoke at length about “Incredible Diapers”, an adult diaper venture he is running. Additionally, his hope is to get the product on Amazon and on the shelves of Walmart. Furthermore, Wack called the company “the only Black diaper company in the universe”. Additionally, he said that he was working with the government of the Democratic Republic of Congo to construct a $200 million manufacturing plant in the African nation.

Grambling Women’s Basketball Team Wins Game By Record 141 Points

Grambling University’s Women’s Basketball has set a new NCAA record for margin of victory, as they beat College of Biblical Studies 159-18. It surpassed the previous mark set by Savannah State’s 2018 155-26 victory over Wesleyan (Georgia). Eight members of Grambling’s squad reached double digits in the absolute trouncing of the Division II Christian college. The Lady Tigers opened the game on a 34-0 run and never looked back. The game was already well out of hand at halftime, with Grambling holding an 82-10.

Furthermore, Grambling also forced 57 turnovers and held CoBS to just 18.9% shooting. Grambling’s 159 points also set a school record. Of course, 159 is nowhere close to the NCAA record of 258. With the win, Grambling improved to 6-5 on the season.

Pistons Streak Ends At 28

Meanwhile, NBA history was made last week. With a 129-127 victory over the Toronto Raptors last Saturday night, the Detroit Pistons ended their historic losing streak at 28. Cade Cunningham had 30 points and 12 assists as the Pistons’ streak ended as the longest single-season streak in NBA history and tied for the all-time losing streak. “I feel amazing. We just kept battling. It’s been a long stretch, all these losses, but I’m just happy to be part of a group of guys who don’t quit,” Cunningham said following the win. Meanwhile, Pistons rejoiced on social media, noting they could finally redeem the Wingstop promotion that had been cruelly mocking them for 28 games.

Toronto, playing short-handed in the second game of a back-to-back scheduling decision, pushed the Pistons until the final whistle. Toronto was without franchise cornerstone O.G. Annuoby, who had been traded earlier in the day. However, the return, which included former third-overall pick RJ Barrett, was not available for the game against Detroit. “It was a very emotional day for everyone. I’m really proud of the energy our guys had, taking everything into account. I also don’t want to take anything away from what Detroit did. They played a really good game and hit some very, very timely shots,” Raptors coach Darko Rajakovic said.
