Snoop Dogg Reveals He Wants To Act in UK Soap Opera

Snoop Dogg has proven time and time again that he can do it all. The 51-year-old has his eyes set on making a cameo on Coronation Street. Coronation Street is a United Kingdom soap opera that has been running since the 1960s. It is the world’s longest-running TV soap opera.

The “Gin & Juice” rapper spoke with The Sun about his love for the show. “Coronation Street, I love it. If they call me, I’ll do it. I’ll play whenever they need,” Snoop said.

He went on to say he enjoys everything about the show.

“I love the cinematography, acting, the storylines, and just the reality.”

One actress on the show would undoubtedly love to have him on board. Elle Mulvaney, who plays Amy Barlow in the soap, tells ITV studios how she feels about a Snoop Dogg cameo. “We really want that like, imagine. Get him in the Barlow’s or the Rovers,” she said.

Snoop has always loved the UK culture and the royal family. While accused of murder in 1993, the Long Beach rapper was banned from touring in the UK. Fortunately, Queen Elizabeth’s grandchildren were big fans of Snoop and allowed him to perform there. She felt that he did nothing wrong in Britain. Snoop Dogg has always remembered this and even offered to perform at King Charles III’s coronation.

A-list celebrities such as Elton John, Adele, Harry Styles, and the Spice Girls have all been asked to perform at the prestigious event. Unfortunately, all artists were busy, so Snoop offered to step in.

The “Nuthin’ But A “G” Thang” rapper has also done a deal with London-based company, Roobet.  Roobet is a crypto casino they have partnered with Snoop Dogg for a new game titled, Hotbox.

Kanye West Explains How He Relates To London After The Death Of Queen Elizabeth

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s split appears to have been tough on the rapper, as the dissolution of their marriage has seen both beef and a desire for reconciliation (from West’s side, at least). Now, West has used his ongoing situation to make an interesting comparison between himself and the UK city of London.

In an Instagram Story shared last night (September 25), Ye wrote in all caps, “London, I know how you feel: I lost my queen, too.”

This comes shortly after West apologized to Kardashian during a Good Morning America/ABC News Live interview, saying, “This is the mother of my children, and I apologize for any stress that I have caused, even in my frustration because God calls me to be stronger. But also, ain’t nobody else needs to be causing no stress either. I need this person to be least stressed and at best sound mind and as calm as possible to be able to raise those children.”

On the topic of world leaders, in that same interview, Ye noted that he “absolutely” plans to run for US president again following his failed 2020 campaign. As for why his first try didn’t work out too well, he said, “That time wasn’t in God’s time.”

Kanye West Responds To Queen Elizabeth’s Death By Seemingly Ending All Of His Feuds

Perhaps more than any other active musician today, Kanye West is often upset with multiple people and entities for various reasons. Now, though, he seems ready to put all that aside following yesterday’s (September 8) death of Queen Elizabeth II, which appears to have moved him.

On Instagram late last night, Ye shared a post. The post has three slides, with the first being white text on a black background. It says, “Life is precious. Releasing all grudges today. Leaning into the light.” The next two slides are photos of a young Queen Elizabeth.

As for those grudges, it’s not clear if West meant yesterday was the day he was releasing them, or if he was releasing them just for the day before returning to beefing shortly after. Whatever the case, his life has been filled with a number of notable feuds lately.

Most recently, he’s been upset with Adidas and Gap over perceived slights. He and Kid Cudi are also beefing at the moment and West’s relationships with his former GOOD Music artists are in various states. Kanye has also taken to relentlessly going after Pete Davidson in recent months, and there seems to be friction with Kim Kardashian going on right now, too.

Queen Elizabeth II’s Death Sparks Reactions From Elton John And Others In The Music World

Earlier today (September 8), Queen Elizabeth II died at 96 years old. Given how long the Queen had maintained a public presence, her passing prompted many reactions on social media, including from the music community.

Elton John, who Elizabeth knighted in 1998, wrote on social media today, “Along with the rest of the nation, I am deeply saddened to hear the news of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth’s passing. She was an inspiring presence to be around and led the country through some of our greatest and darkest moments with grace, decency and a genuine caring warmth. Queen Elizabeth has been a huge part of my life from childhood to this day, and I will miss her dearly.”

Duran Duran offered a lengthy post, writing, “Her Majesty the Queen has presided over the UK for longer than any other British monarch. She dedicated her life to the people and set an extraordinary example to the world throughout her reign. She’s seen changes that are beyond what any of us can imagine. She has faced challenges that she has risen to time and again. Her life has been remarkable in so many ways. We will all miss her and are grateful for the incredible service she gave to the people of Great Britain and the countries of the Commonwealth. We send our deepest condolence to the royal family. Her death brings to an end a long and unique chapter in the history of the United Kingdom and the world.”

Ozzy Osbourne also chimed in, “I mourn with my country the passing of our greatest Queen. With a heavy heart I say it is devastating the thought of England without Queen Elizabeth II.”
