Tyler The Creator Explains Why He’d Ban Podcasts If He Were President

Tyler The Creator says that if he were President of the United States, he would ban the use of podcast mics. He explained his frustration with how many people confidently share their opinions on music through the medium of podcasts during an interview with Billboard published on Wednesday.

The topic arose while discussing Tyler’s newest album, Chromakopia. The outlet explained that he enjoys engaging with fans on social media, but not when they simply say something is good or bad. “Expound on that f–king thought, b–ch,” Tyler says of the rampant opinions. “If I was president, the first thing I would do is take podcast mics away from n—as.”

And I don’t even get FOMO at all, n—a — I’ll go to sleep. But I’m cool with Kenny and Dave [Free] and Tim [Hinshaw] from Free Lunch. So I went home, showered and ran straight there.” At the event, Tyler performed his iconic 2019 hit, “Earfquake,” off of his acclaimed album, Igor. “I genuinely think I’m better at my R&B singing s–t as a whole than my rap s–t,” he added. “And those are usually my biggest records.”

Bandman Kevo Is Rocking A New Donald Trump Tattoo After His Win For U.S. President

Bandman Kevo is known for his often controversial or antic-heavy behavior, something that surprisingly shows up in his choice of ink for many online users who come across his social media presence. For example, he recently got a back leg tattoo of Donald Trump following the convicted Republican’s victory in the United States presidential election this week. The artist themselves posted the artwork, which also features a MAGA hat. As you can imagine, both the artist’s comments section and the one in the post down below reacted quite divisively to this. Some celebrated this tribute, whereas others lamented the results and this tribute.

However, as alluded to before, this is far from the only tattoo that Bandman Kevo got that ruffled a lot of feathers online. Back in June, he got leg tattoos of various rich white men, namely Mark Zuckerberg, Mark Cuban, Elon Musk, and Jeff Bezos. As such, this Trump tattoo should really come as no surprise. Still, it didn’t answer fans’ questions as to why Bandman would want to portray these individuals in the first place, as these new inks don’t really come with much explanation. Elsewhere, it’s up to online users to speculate.

Bandman Kevo’s New Donald Trump Tattoo

In fact, this isn’t even the first tattoo that Bandman Kevo reportedly got depicting Donald Trump, and this double down probably cost plenty of money and energy for something that an artist already plastered onto his body. So we are still no closer to finding out why exactly this support is so strong, but we’re sure that the recent presidential victory spurred this. The artist themselves seemed to express their support for No. 47, so it was likely a two-way street. At the end of the day, it’s just someone’s tattoo, and not much else… Explicitly, that is.

Sadly, Bandman Kevo dealt with some heartbreaking news this year that no political victory can assuage. He revealed via social media that his 15-year-old son passed away due to gun violence earlier in 2024. Our condolences are with Kevo and his family during this difficult time. Hopefully 2025 yields more positive developments and events for him that don’t involve tragedy.

Kamala Harris Steps Out After Joe Biden Drops Out Of Presidential Race

US Vice President Kamala Harris (R) arrives for an event honoring National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) championship teams from the 2023-2024 season, on the South Lawn of the White House in Washington, DC on July 22, 2024. Joe Biden on July 21, 2024, dropped out of the US presidential election and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic Party’s new nominee, in a stunning move that upends an already extraordinary 2024 race for the White House. Biden, 81, said he was acting in the “best interest of my party and the country” by bowing to weeks of pressure after a disastrous June debate against Donald Trump stoked worries about his age and mental fitness. Biden made his announcement on Sunday afternoon. “While it has been my intention to seek reelection, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my term,” Biden wrote in his statement on X. “I will speak to the Nation later this week in more detail about my decision.” He also endorsed Harris to run in his stead.

Stephen A Smith Reacts To Joe Biden Dropping Out Of The Presidential Race

Stephen A Smith has been quite vocal about politics as of late. Although he has a strong distaste for Donald Trump, he has also had his own issues with President Joe Biden. Overall, he has felt as though Biden is not of a strong or sound mind and therefore, should not be running. This analysis was especially common after Biden’s horrific debate performance against Trump about a month ago. On Sunday, Joe Biden announced that he would be stopping his Presidential campaign. Moreover, he even endorsed Kamala Harris to take his place.

Following this news, Stephen A Smith was spotted out and about at a park by reporter Joshua Needelman. Smith was subsequently asked to give his thoughts on all of this. “It was long overdue. … On the Democratic side, it’s time for everyone to get behind Kamala Harris,” Smith stated. Needless to say, his thoughts on the topic are pretty clear. Having said that, Kamala Harris may have some issues getting all of the support necessary. As you can imagine, some Democrats see the nomination as for the taking, especially with the polls not being extremely favorable towards Harris.

Stephen A Smith Gives His Take

No matter what, this is going to be a divisive issue. Harris was part of the Biden administration and will have to defend some of the administration’s decisions if she is the nominee. Overall, it is going to be a tough task ahead for the former California senator. Only time will tell whether or not she can secure the nomination and subsequently defeat Donald Trump.

Let us know what you think of this take from Stephen A., in the comments section down below. Did you expect the President to step out of the race? Do you believe that Kamala Harris can defeat Donald Trump, or will another candidate need to step in? Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the world. Joe Biden Receives Repeated Calls To Drop Out Of Presidential Race

President Joe Biden has received a whole lot of scrutiny over the last few weeks. Overall, this is mostly thanks to his horrific debate performance against Donald Trump. While Trump wasn’t exactly performing to the best of his abilities, Biden appeared to be in a bad state. There have been signs of cognitive decline, and his debate performance was one of his worst looks yet. Democrats have started to freak out, although Biden remains of the mindset that he is going to stay in the race.

According to CNN, Democrats like Nancy Pelosi have been critical of Biden and his choice to stay in the fight. Moreover, even George Clooney has made some strong comments about the President. This is significant considering how Clooney is a major donor to Biden. Despite all of this, the President is not dropping out of the race, at least for now. The Democratic National Convention is in August, which means there is still time for Biden to come out and drop out before it’s too late.

Toure Blames Rappers’ Support For Donald Trump On Younger Generation’s Lack Of “Political Spine”

Toure wants to know why a number of rappers have voiced their support for Donald Trump over the years. Kanye West, Lil Pump, Kodak Black, and many more artists in hip-hop have all controversially praised the former president. Toure gave his take in a video on TikTok.

“What in the Uncle Tom is going on?” he asked, as noted by AllHipHop. From there, he provided some ideas such as contrarianism, misinformation, and Trump’s reputation for being strong. He added: “But in the question of rappers and Trump, we also have to account for this. Modern Hip-Hop does not really have, for the most part, the political spine that those of us who loved 80s and 90s Hip-Hop had. I don’t say this to criticize the modern generation, and I know some rappers now are political, but the assumption that Hip-Hop will be progressive and political as we saw so often in the 80s and 90s, that world doesn’t exist really.”

Killer Mike Proposes Child Support Change To Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Killer Mike has an idea to change the way child support works in the United States and proposed the solution to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. In a video shared on YouTube, Mike speaks with the presidential candidate at a barbershop in Atlanta.

Mike began by clarifying that his jumping in the video was not an official endorsement of the candidate. He then proposed his change for child support: “This is the two-year plan: first two years are debt free. You don’t have to pay anything back so she doesn’t have to drag him into court and the court can say you owe us money for investing in your child in food programs and head start programs because in those two years he has the option to then go to a trade school. In my community, the girls are going to college and graduating. They have no men to marry because the boys are not going to college in the same way.” By the end of the conversation ends, Kennedy jokes, “Do you wanna be Vice President?”

Black Music Action Coalition Calls For Action From Joe Biden

The Black Music Action Coalition is calling on President Joe Biden to use his executive authority to pass racial equality and reparative justice legislation. BMAC co-founder and CEO Willie “Prophet” Stiggers explained the work the group wants done in a statement noted by AllHipHop.

“We launched BMAC in 2020 and one of our first initiatives was calling for a racial justice commitment within the first 100 days of President Biden being in office through the power of narrative change content and a national coalition,” BMAC co-founder and CEO Willie “Prophet” Stiggers said. From there, he brought up a lack of justice for George Floyd and Breonna Taylor and noted the inaction during Biden’s first 100 days in office.

He further said: “As part of a call for a U.S. Truth Commission and Restorative Justice, we supported ‘17 More Ways You Could Be Killed If You Are Black in America’ with artists like Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige, Khalid and Quavo, as well as ‘The Resolution’ with activists like Billie Eilish, Brittany Packnett Cunningham and Dr. Marcus Anthony Hunter. Despite the largest outcry for racial justice in our nation’s history, the first 100 days of the Biden Administration passed without any racial justice policy. We received no justice for George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and the countless other lives that were lost.” They want a restoration of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and for the administration to start a commission to study and consider reparations for African Americans.

“In this crucial election year, we are joining the urgent demand for President Biden to move on executive actions and executive orders aligning with and supporting legislative efforts to achieve racial equity and reparative justice,” Stiggers continued. “We will do everything we can to utilize our resources and be a true bridge between the creative community and lawmakers to help push this fight forward.” Be on the lookout for further updates on Joe Biden on HotNewHipHop.
