Nicki Minaj Announces Dates For “Pink Friday 2” World Tour

Over the weekend, Nicki Minaj released her highly-anticipated new album Pink Friday 2. The project generated tons of attention for its samples, features, and alleged attempts at starting or continuing beef. The project is expected to amass some impressive sales numbers and could have the top spot on the Billboard 200 while some of its songs challenge various Christmas tracks for debuts on the Hot 100. But Nicki isn’t even close to done with the era, taking to social media earlier today to announce that she’s taking the album on tour.

Earlier this year, Nicki floated around the idea of a tour in support of her new album. But as she’s known to announce things and never follow through, many fans were left skeptical. But they aren’t anymore as she shared the official announcement of the Pink Friday 2 world tour. She shared 37 dates taking place from March until June of 2024 across North America and the UK. While that’s a pretty big undertaking she may have even more in store. The flyer also includes a teaser that more dates will be announced in the future. Check out the full announcement below.

Yung Miami Channels Nicki Minaj’s “Pink Friday 2” For New IG Photo Dump

Over the weekend, Yung Miami took to Instagram to drop off a new photo dump, posing in what appears to be a Resha Roulette warehouse. The City Girl sits atop some boxes, posing in a simple white crop top and some fun patterned jeans. She seemingly channeled Nicki Minaj for her caption, quoting her new Pink Friday 2 track with Lil Uzi Vert, “Everybody.”

“These b*tches all on my boddyyyyy!!!!” she captioned the carousel. Countless fans are flooding her comments section with compliments, glad that she’s showing love to Nicki following her big release. The other half of City Girls, JT, even chimed in, calling her the “HBIC.” Though most fans are showing her love, some continue to express concern for the Caresha Please host amid the recent allegations against Diddy.

Yung Miami Quotes Nicki Minaj In New IG Caption

Last month, Diddy’s ex Cassie filed a lawsuit accusing him of sexual assault, physical and emotional abuse, and more. They settled shortly after, however, three additional women have since come forward with similar allegations. He’s denied any wrongdoing, declaring that “enough is enough” following news of his fourth lawsuit. Some of Yung Miami’s fans have been urging her to speak up amid the chatter surrounding the Bad Boy Records founder, but it appears as though she’s uninterested. She’s continued to post on social media, seemingly unbothered by fans’ demands.

She even recently spent some time in the recording studio, revealing that amid the drama, she’s back to feeling like herself again. It’s unclear what she was working on, but fans think it could be a follow-up to City Girls’ RAW, or even a new solo project. What do you think of Yung Miami’s latest photo dump? What about the City Girl quoting Nicki Minaj’s new album Pink Friday 2 in her caption? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Was Doja Cat Supposed To Be On Nicki Minaj’s ‘Cowgirl’ Song?

As Doja Cat makes her way around the country with special guests Doechii and Ice Spice, she’s winning over skeptics online and in person. Unfortunately, she’s hit a snag. On Saturday, December 9, Nicki Minaj decided to celebrate the release of her long-awaited album Pink Friday 2 virtually with fans. Usually, Nicki would head over to Queen Radio for the informal chat, but with that no longer an option, she turned to online broadcaster Stationhead.

Barbz wanted to glimpse into Nicki’s mind during the stream as they asked about collaborators on the body of work. But when one viewer suggested Nicki link back up with Doja Cat, she revealed that she already tried.

According to Nicki, Doja passed on the opportunity to join forces again on her album. “She passed on it. She said she don’t think I like her,” she said. “I guess our record-breaking No. 1 wasn’t proof.” Fans now believe Doja Cat was originally supposed to appear on Nicki’s song “Cowgirl.” Currently, Lourdiz is the featured artist on the song.

However, while performing in Omaha, Nebraska, Doja Cat showed her support, screaming, “Thank you, Nicki, I love you! Pink Friday 2!” So, people online are confused: Is there a silent feud going on between Doja Cat and Nicki Minaj?

Nicki Minaj & 50 Cent Collab Coming Soon, Queen Of Rap Dropping Four New “Pink Friday 2” Songs

As the weekend comes to a close, first reactions to Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 continue to pour in. For the most part, The Barbz seem impressed with their fearless leader, who found a beautiful balance between vulnerable venting in her lyrics, and relying on clever (sometimes raunchy) wordplay to keep us laughing. Minaj has been busy preparing for her upcoming tour now that the LP is finally here, but according to recent Twitter posts, she’s not quite done delivering treats yet.

On Friday (December 8), the Queen of Rap responded to a tweet naming Complex‘s two favourite songs from the project, “Beep Beep” and “Everybody” featuring Lil Uzi Vert. “Well wait ’til they hear Schfifty Schent verse on it next week. #GagCity, we here,” Minaj wrote, causing a stir among hip-hop heads. She and the New Yorker have never before joined forces on a track, meaning PF2 is delivering even more than just her first song with J. Cole, which has already emerged as a fan favourite.

Pink Friday 2 is Here, But That Doesn’t Mean Nicki Minaj is Done Giving Gifts Quite Yet

When the Power producer wished Nicki a happy birthday on Saturday (December 9), she was more worried about demanding he submit his work than thanking Curtis Jackson for his kind words. As Yahoo Entertainment notes, the mother of one has promised that a total of four more songs will be coming, including collaborations with Keyshia Cole and Monica, whom she recently went Live with. “Next week #GagCity welcomes a new edition every day beginning Monday or Tuesday,” Minaj tweeted. “Every day until Friday, you’ll get an [additional] song that completes my fave body of work to date. 4 more songs.”

Fif doesn’t put out music at the rate he did in his younger years, but still, the New Yorker is a name high in demand lately. Earlier this fall he helped 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne out with their long-awaited Welcome 2 Collegrove LP, and now, it sounds like he’ll be blowing us away on whatever Nicki Minaj is cooking up next for her Pink Friday 2 rollout. Read more about that at the link below, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.

“Pink Friday 2” Features: Doja Cat Seemingly Shut Down Chance To Appear On Nicki Minaj’s New Album

When Nicki Minaj announced her Pink Friday 2 album, we knew it would be difficult for her to top its predecessor. On the original project, the Queen of Rap made her mark on the industry thanks to songs like “Fly” with Rihanna, “Moment 4 Life” with Drake, and “Check It Out” with will.i.am. Much to hip-hop head’s pleasure, she picked an impressive roster of collaborators for PF2, though Minaj revealed on Queen Radio earlier this weekend that she was surprised by a fellow femcee who turned down an opportunity to appear on this weekend’s project.

“I don’t wanna laugh,” the mother of one began. “They said that it was a lot of different things, but you know, I didn’t realize, they said that they don’t think I like them,” Minaj told listeners without officially naming names. “After everything The Barbz…” she trolled off as the live chat began flooding with speculation that she’s talking about Doja Cat. Elsewhere, the Trinidadian left a comment furthering the rumours.

Nicki Minaj Spills Tea with The Barbz Following Pink Friday 2‘s Arrival

“She passed on it,” Minaj told a curious fan. “She said she don’t think I like her 😩🤣. I guess our record-breaking #1 wasn’t proof. The Barbz went hard,” she continued to spill tea, seemingly referring to her guest appearance on Doja’s “Say So (Remix)” in 2019. Even if she didn’t nab another track with the Planet Her hitmaker, we do hear from J. Cole, Lil Uzi Vert, Future, and a handful of other lyricists on PF2, making the wait well worth it.

As first impressions of the long-awaited Pink Friday 2 continue to pour in on social media, the project’s first week sales impressions are looking promising. As of right now, Nicki Minaj’s LP is expected to land atop the album chart, even without a guest appearance from Doja Cat. Read more about the new project at the link below, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.

J. Cole’s “Let Me Calm Down” Feature On Nicki Minaj’s “Pink Friday 2” Continues His Impressive Run

There are few mainstream rappers whom Nicki Minaj hasn’t collaborated with, and on Friday (December 8), she crossed a few names off her dream list thanks to the release of her first LP since 2018. On Pink Friday 2, not only do we hear the Trinidadian reconnect with past frequent collaborators like Drake and Lil Wayne, but she and J. Cole also came together for the first time on a track called “Let Me Calm Down.”

Overproduction by ATL Jacob, Hendrix Smoke, and Kujibeats, we hear both lyricists reflect on their problematic relationship dynamics. “My heart sayin’ I love him while I’m screamin’ that I hate him / And ain’t no more debatin’, this time, it’s a ultimatum,” Minaj begins her verse, pouring her heart into every word. “I wrote a line for you and it was beautiful / I made a sign for you to say you’re beautiful / You’re so, so irresistible / Take me to somewhere mystical,” she continues on the chorus.

J. Cole and Nicki Minaj Collab for the First Time on “Let Me Calm Down”

For his part, Cole unsurprisingly continues his streak of killing every feature he’s been on this year. “Uh, havin’ her ain’t for the faint of heart / She bad as f**k but hard to deal with, and it ain’t her fault,” he gasses up the woman in his life. “She got ambition like the ni**as, and the vision for herself / So she can’t rest until she feel like she done made her mark.”

Check out J. Cole and Nicki Minaj’s penmanship on “Let Me Calm Down” above. If you’re feeling the rap legends’ first-ever collaboration, add it to your playlist on Spotify/Apple Music. For more HNHH release recommendations, check back in later this weekend.
