Travis Scott Shows Off $120K Louis Vuitton Trunk From Pharrell Auction
Travis Scott recently took to Instagram to show off some pricey Louis Vuitton to his followers. In an Instagram Story posted today (July 12), he showcases a rainbow LV trunk, which he reportedly purchased at Pharrell’s auction last year. The auction featured various pieces of clothing, jewelry, and more, bringing in over $5 million. A Travis Scott fan page was able to link the trunk posted by Travis to the one auctioned by Pharrell last October. The trunk sold for $121,250.
Pharrell’s auctioned LV trunk isn’t the only notable arm candy Travis has been spotted with recently. In the past few months, Travis has been spotted various times alongside security personnel holding a briefcase labeled UTOPIA. Some fans think that the highly-anticipated upcoming album will be released later this month. Earlier this week, he announced that he’d be performing at the the pyramids in Egypt on July 28. Some believe this will also be the day that he’ll finally drop the LP.

Travis Scott Flexes His Louis Vuitton
Travis Scott has continued to tease UTOPIA, as well as the eagerly-awaited LP’s features. Previously, it was speculated that The Weeknd would appear on the album, after he shared a photo on Instagram alongside the briefcase. Recently, this news appeared to be confirmed by the co-founder of XO Records. The album is also believed to feature Young Thug, Westside Gunn, Swae Lee, and more.
Pharrell has been showing off his own Louis Vuitton lately, being photographed with a bright yellow speedy bag reportedly worth $1 million. The “millionaire speedy” is part of Pharrell’s first collection as the creative director of menswear at LV. In June, he revealed that “Every part on the bag is [gold].” “The teeth on the zipper is gold, all the hardware, every rivet. This is gold. Obviously diamonds. This chain is real. It has a real strap but you know — so be it, so be it,” he explained.. He debuted the collection last month at a runway show which was attended by countless celebrity guests.

Lil Tjay Shares Throwback Pic With Pharrell
Lil Tjay has been fusing rapping and singing together with his melodic style for years. He’s been teasing the release of an upcoming new album that doesn’t have a name or date yet confirmed. When he does drop it’ll be his first new album since Destined 2 Win in 2021, and there’s a good reason for that. Last year on June 22nd Lil Tjay was shot seven times. He was taken into emergency surgery and remained unconscious for a week afterward.
Now, Lil Tjay is posting a throwback photo from his recovery last year. It shows him still in a neckbrace talking with legendary producer Pharrell. “Thanks for the knowledge and advice big bro,” he writes in the caption. He also goes on to elaborate about his time with Pharrell. “For those who don’t know while I was getting my mind right and healing this time last year I had a couple days to sit down w P and talk/vent about life nd everything you know wassup! But yea without you I would’ve never dug this deep and I appreciate u. Wanna thank u deeply.”
Lil Tjay Reflects With Pharrell
These pictures aren’t the only time Lil Tjay has reflected on what happened to him last year. Last month he released his new single “June 22nd” exactly a year after he was shot. The song saw him reflecting on both what happened to him and how he’s bounced back from it in the year since. Tjay has been teasing fans in all his new Instagram posts with the hashtag 222 and the date July 14th. Whether the date brings an entire new project or just a new song is to be seen.
Lil Tjay and Pharrell could have been seen together a few weeks ago during Paris Fashion Week. After being shot on June 22 of last year, Lil Tjay was rushed into emergency surgery and remained unconscious for around one week. That August, the Bronx rapper updated fans on his condition and clarified that he was shot seven times. This weekend, following the release of his reflective single “June 22nd,” Lil Tjay offered a retroactive glimpse into last summer by sharing throwback photos of him and Pharrell. They show Lil Tjay is still wearing his neck brace.

Pharrell Wins Paris Fashion Week With His $1M Louis Vuitton Speedy Bag
Paris Fashion Week has seen many of the biggest names in hip-hop take over France in style this month. Of course, none of them are doing it quite like Pharrell. The Virginia-born creative was actually one of the main events earlier in the week as he made his debut as the menswear designer of Louis Vuitton on June 20. As expected, the collection has been receiving rave reviews so far. However, internet trolls are comparing some of the looks to Minecraft characters due to their pixel patterning.
In the days since proudly unveiling his first collection, Pharrell has been spotted supporting various other designers at their runways. His longtime friend Nigo impressed with his work at the Kenzo show. As High Snobiety notes, he’s also been photographed at Junya Watanabe and Dior’s presentation. The producer’s wife, Helen Lasichanh, was by his side (cooly dressed and looking naturally radiant), and his eldest son, Rocket Williams, joined them to see Kim Jones’ latest work.

In many photos, Pharrell has been carrying with him a bright yellow, monogrammed Louis Vuitton Speedy bag – one of the standout pieces from his collection. It’s a good thing it’s so attention-grabbing, seeing as it’s worth an estimated $1 million.
It’s been nicknamed the “Millionaire” bag, and has such a hefty price tag because it’s “cut from crocodile leather and affixed with both a chunky gold chain and diamond padlock, all handmade in one of LV’s fairly young leather ateliers.”

Pharrell Williams recently kicked off his first fashion show in Paris as Louis Vuitton’s Men’s Creative Director — replacing the late Virgil Abloh. It wasn’t without surprises either, as he incorporated music into a large part of the show.
Jay-Z made a special appearance to play “Frontin” by The Neptunes and “On To The Next One.” Pharrell also brought the Voices Of Fire gospel choir to perform their recent collab, “Joy (Unspeakable).”

There was also a live debut of a new Clipse (Pusha T and Malice’s duo) song that is reportedly called “Chains ‘N Whips,” according to a New York Times write-up.
“Beat the system with chains and whips,” Pusha reportedly raps in the chorus, per the publication. The song also played over the speakers on the runway.

“That was made in this room,” Pharrell told NYT in reaction to the song. “We just start walking around and looking out this window and you just see all of this. I mean, we beating this system, bro.”
There’s also another lyric that was shared by Stereogum, where he seems to dig at a long-time rapper. “You’d think there’d be honor amongst veterans / I am watching your fame escape relevance / We’re all in the room, but here’s the elephant / You’re chasing a feature out of your element,” the Clipse track goes. Many have suspected it is about Dipset’s Jim Jones.

It feels like just yesterday when Rihanna broke the news of her second pregnancy to the world, but really it’s already been over four months since her legendary Super Bowl Halftime show. As expected, she followed in her own footsteps for round two, putting her baby bump on display in a selection of incredible outfits to help redefine maternity style for the modern woman. For her most recent outing, Rihanna returned to Paris with the Testing rapper to celebrate their friend Pharrell Williams. The Virginia native made his Louis Vuitton menswear debut today and had plenty of famous faces in attendance to cheer him on. Among them were Jay-Z and Beyonce, Zendaya, and Megan Thee Stallion. While the Carters looked nothing less than regal in their fancy outfits, Rocky and his “Fashion Killa” captured more of a street-style vibe in their all-blue ensembles.

For his part, the soon-to-be father of two paired his denim LV jacket with jean shorts and tall white crew socks. His accessories definitely complete the look, consisting of various necklaces, sunglasses, and a comfy beanie on his head. Rihanna donned an oversized jumpsuit with a block pattern displayed across the denim. She kept the front undone, leaving her growing belly on display under a sports bra in the same design as her outfit. Like Rocky, she too wears a hat on her head. The couple is currently being praised (as per usual) online for their boundless creativity.
