Beyoncé Was Recovering From Foot Surgery Before Private Dubai Show: Report

We’re all jealous of attendees of the Queen’s private show at Dubai on Saturday (January 21). However, some more news and reports from the spectacle indicate that there were more risks to this show than one might expect. Moreover, one of the patrons reported that Beyoncé was recovering from foot surgery before her performance.

Of course, anyone being paid $24 million for a private concert would rush to it with two broken arms if they could. Still, if reports are accurate, this is yet another insane display of commitment and skill from the superstar artist. Attendees at Beyoncé’s concert at The Royal Atlantis in Dubai likely had a magical experience.

Despite the show’s strict no-phone policy, footage still leaked online. Moreover, many took to social media to share their takes and thoughts on the invite-only concert. It included celebrities, other artists, journalists, and critics like one cultural critic and author Gerrick Kennedy.

“BEYLANTIS was quite the unexpected show,” he tweeted. “That voice is just gets better and better. Mama was doing her good singing. Mind-blowing to see her and Blue Ivy perform together. Even more in awe to hear she did this after foot surgery. It’s unclear what injury led Bey to the operating table, but it’s good to know she’s doing better.”

However, the “BREAK MY SOUL” singer had other things to promote and celebrate this week. Her new campaign for Ivy Park x Adidas, Park Trail, debuted with help from the likes of Ice Spice and Offset. Moreover, she just released another Adidas collab in the form of her Top Ten 2000 sneaker colorways.

Meanwhile, other large performances caused comparisons to Beyoncé’s great live shows. Stephen A. Smith recently caught some flack for saying that Rihanna “ain’t Beyoncé,” referencing the “Diamonds” singer’s upcoming Super Bowl halftime show. Even when she’s not on stage, the RENAISSANCE mogul can’t help but dominate conversations around concert spectacles.

Still, what do you think of Beyoncé recovering from foot surgery right before her private Dubai concert? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments down below. Also, as always, check back in with HNHH for more mind-blowing moments from your favorite performers.

Nelly Gives Weird Performance At Juicy Fest

While artists love to give it their all on stage, sometimes it might be too much for fans. Nelly recently turned heads at Juicy Fest in Melbourne, Australia for his odd performance. Moreover, he performed with other notable artists from the 2000s such as Ja Rule, Xzibit, Mya, and many more. Following last year’s clips of him performing to younger girls, this isn’t the only rodeo we’ve had with his shows.

In recently surfaced clips, you can see the St. Louis artists performing his song, “Over and Over” featuring Tim McGraw. During his show, he was smiling and shouting his lyrics quite expressively. Still, it all seems in line with typical stage antics and excitement. After all, when you’ve worked as long as Nelly, you’ve got to find different ways to perform the same song over and over again. However, people really expressed their worries when his eyes rolled into the back of his head at a few points.

As such, many online were quick to clown the show and Nelly’s erratic stage presence. “When that edible starts TO FIGHT BACK,” one user wrote under a clip of his singing. “Like look at this n***a lmao,” another wrote. “He is WASHED, DREDGED, BATTERED AND DEEP FRIED lmaoo.”

Moreover, the last we heard of Nelly was from longtime friend Ashanti, who said she’d work with her ex again last year. She actually teased it multiple times, but most recently discussed so with Selena Hill.

“I don’t know if we’re gonna go to the studio or anything together,” she stated. “But what I will say is, again, we’re both very business savvy. If an opportunity presents itself to make a record and get to the bag, we’re probably gonna be all in.”

Still, with this recent performance clip in mind, fans might be expecting something different if Nelly drops new music. As one of the 2000s’ brightest and most impactful stars, a comeback wouldn’t be surprising. However, let’s see if this is part of his performance gimmick or if he addresses the viral clip.

What do you think of Nelly’s bizarre performance at Juicy Fest this year? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments down below. Also, as always, come back to HNHH for more weird, curious, or straight up bizarre hip-hop happenings.

Justin Bieber Forgot Lyrics To “Stay” During Performance, Plays It Off

Even with artists performing songs dozens of times, we can’t blame them for slipping up here and there. Justin Bieber forgot the words to his The Kid LAROI collab, “Stay,” during an impromptu performance on Saturday (January 14). Moreover, they celebrated the opening of Michael D. Ratner’s OBB Studios in Los Angeles.

While that track came out in July of 2021, both artists are planning big for the future. LAROI announced his debut album The First Time and is dropping its first single this week. Meanwhile, sources reported that Bieber is closing a deal to sell his catalog for $200 million. However, he’s been mostly away from big stages ever since postponing his Justice World Tour last September.

Maybe it’s that lack of practice that prompted the Canadian superstar to forget the words. Furthermore, both artists performed a stripped-back version of their still-enduring hit during the celebrations. While some might be frustrated by their favorite artists forgetting lyrics, Bieber played it off charmingly.

“It’s been difficult for me to trust / And I’m afraid that I’ma f**k it up,” Bieber sang. “Ain’t no way that I can leave you stranded / ‘Cause I don’t remember the words and that’s crazy.” When the crowd realized what was happening, they didn’t react with disappointment. Instead, many cheered and applauded after seeing an honest mistake. After all, millions have seen a song performed live, but how many have seen it messed up like that?

Regardless, after the commotion, the “Sorry” singer continued his performance and closed out strong. “You know that I know that I can’t live without you,” he sang. “So, baby, stay.”

Meanwhile, “Stay” appeared in the news earlier in the month for continuing to break records. Moreover, it cemented its staying power after becoming nine-times platinum per the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Given its popularity, it’s no surprise it landed third on Spotify’s most streamed songs of 2022 and sixth across all streaming platforms. Not bad for a year-and-a-half old song. The Kid LAROI continues to build his success.

For those unfamiliar with OBB and Ratner, he directed Bieber’s recent YouTube documentaries: Seasons, Next Chapter, and Our World. Also, OBB co-produced the films, the third of which is nominated for Best Music Film at the 2023 Grammys. Moreover, they are also behind Hailey Bieber’s YouTube series, Who’s In My Bathroom?

Lil Tjay Reveals Bullet Wounds While Performing Shirtless

It’s now been nearly seven months since Lil Tjay was shot while in New Jersey in June of last year. Throughout his recovery, he is certainly proving to be resilient.

When the reports first began to circulate, his condition was initially unclear. However, he has thankfully since recovered and subsequently released some new music as well.

The “Run It Up” rapper recently returned to the state of New Jersey for a performance.

On Friday (December 30), the 21-year-old took to his Instagram account to share some photos of himself on stage. In the last photo, he’s performing while shirtless. There are noticeably several gunshot wounds on the front of his body. “BACK IN JERSEY,” he writes in the post’s caption, along with a couple of hand emojis making a heart shape.

His first music release following the incident came in the form of “Beat the Odds.” The single finds the Bronx native addressing the difficulties of recovering from his injuries. Furthermore, the video shows him writing and recording the song while recovering in a hospital bed.

In November, the Bronx native dropped another single, “Give What You Want.” The track is a soulful performance and continues his streak as one of the most diverse artists in the game right now.

The alleged suspect was arrested for attempted murder and armed robbery the same day of the shooting. Mohamed Konate is reportedly responsible for shooting Tjay and two others while sitting in a car outside of a Chipotle restaurant.

While it’s difficult to see his wounds, it’s certainly good to see that the 21-year-old has recovered enough to be on stage again.
