Drake Set To Hit New Milestone On The U.K. Charts

Drake released For All The Dogs on Friday, and it is already one of the biggest albums in the world right now. Overall, Drizzy has always been a streaming and sales darling. He can get you 500K units without pushing a single bundle. If he did include bundles, his sales could easily be in the millions. Regardless, the megastar remains one of the biggest artists ever. For All The Dogs was highly anticipated, so it should come as no surprise that it is currently selling as well as it is.

Unfortunately for Drake, there has been a lot of criticism surrounding this album. Some people feel as though the project is entirely too unfocused. Moreover, there are some who believe the album is his worst yet. On top of this, you have Joe Budden publically chastising the artist for linking up with the youth. It seems like critically, Drizzy cannot catch a break. However, his sales continue to reflect just how big a showstopper he really is.

Drake Continues To Dominate

According to Billboard, it has been reported that For All The Dogs will be the number-one album in the U.K. this week. Overall, this will be his sixth time topping the U.K. charts. Over the past few years, the Canadian megastar has been embracing the U.K. sound. In fact, he recently linked up with Central Cee, which led to an incredible freestyle. Needless to say, he is embedded in the country, and music listeners overseas continue to support him.

So far, For All The Dogs is set to sell 450K units in its first week. However, that number can change as the week goes on. With public opinion on the album in a polarizing state, there is no telling how the streams could break. Let us know what you think of the new album, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world.

Drake & SZA’s “Slime You Out” Falls From First To Outside The Top 10 On The Billboard Charts

Drake is going to be dropping a brand-new album on Friday. For All The Dogs is a project that has been teased for quite some time at this point. However, we don’t actually know much about it. There hasn’t been a tracklist for the project, and we also don’t have a features list. Overall, there is even confusion about whether or not “Search & Rescue” will be on the album. Fans are split as to whether or not they even want it, but we digress.

What is for certain about this album, is that the song “Slime You Out” will definitely be on the tracklist. This song dropped a few weeks ago and it features the likes of SZA. The length 5-minute ballad was an immediate hit among fans, even it got criticized by Charlamagne Tha God. Subsequently, the song ended up becoming the number one track on the Billboard charts. It was a massive achievement, especially with the lack of hip-hop on the charts this year. Unfortunately, the song has experienced a major fall-off.

Drake & SZA Lose Out To Doja Cat

In the latest Billboard update, “Slime You Out” went all the way from first to 12th. Yes, that is correct, the song with Drake and SZA is now outside of the top 10. This is surprising especially when you consider how SZA has dominated the Billboard charts this year. As for who took number one from Drake? Well, it was actually none other than Doja Cat. Her song “Paint The Town Red” is back at number one, and we’re sure she is enjoying the success right now.

With For All The Dogs dropping very soon, it is likely that the artist will have another number one hit on his hands. His albums always chart extremely well, and we imagine every single song will end up on the Top 100 in one form or another. Let us know your thoughts on “Slime You Out,” in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world.

Travis Scott Set To Go Number One Again With Huge “Utopia” Sales Resurgence

In case you haven’t noticed over the last month or so, Travis Scott and his album Utopia have been dominating the charts. For the first four weeks of the album’s existence, Scott found himself at number one. Overall, this was mostly thanks to bundles and how they factored into his sales. He was packaging a digital album with his merch, and he was also selling vinyls for $5. This was a great strategy for him, and it is continuing to pay off as the album cycle hits critical mass.

In the album’s fifth week on the charts, it ended up garnering second place. However, it seems like it will not be playing second fiddle for very long. Instead, the album is going to take the top spot again this week, in its sixth week on the charts. According to DJ Akademiks, the album is going to sell a whopping 160K units, which is truly massive. It is even more impressive given how the album does not have a song in the Top 20 on the Billboard charts. Those bundles are doing their job.

Travis Scott Continues To Dominate

These numbers are especially impressive when you consider how hip-hop has largely struggled on the charts this year. The first album to go number one in rap this year was Lil Uzi Vert’s The Pink Tape. However, it only lasted in that spot for one week. Now, Scott is showcasing that the genre still has a ton of staying power on the charts. That said, a hip-hop song has yet to hit number one this year. Although, it seems like Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion are going to change that with “Bongos.”

Drake is also dropping a new album on September 22nd, so the tide is definitely on its way to being turned. All that being said, tell us your thoughts on Utopia, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. We will always be sure to keep you informed.

The Weeknd Breaks New Record With “Beauty Behind The Madness”

The Weeknd has been at it for a long time now. Overall, Abel has been in the game since the early 2010s when he dropped his Trilogy series of mixtapes. At first, many thought he was a band. However, people eventually clued to the fact that he is actually just one talented individual. Once his mixtape era ended, he got signed and immediately started making some albums. He started off with Kissland which had mixed reception at the time. When Beauty Behind The Madness came out, he truly came into his own.

There were a ton of amazing hits on this album. To this day, these tracks are the biggest of his career. Although he has some major hits from his other albums, a lot of fans look at the commercial success of BBTM as his true jumping-off point. In fact, the album is still breaking records. For instance, according to DJ Akademiks, the album became the first in music history to boast three diamond singles. The tracks in question are “Earned It,” “The Hills,” and “Can’t Feel My Face.”

The Weeknd Is A Sales Beast

These are all songs that were inescapable when they came out back in 2015. Almost a decade later, they are still getting a ton of plays on not just streaming services, but the radio as well. The Weeknd is one of those artists who always seems to be one-upping himself. He is about to embark on a whole new era of his career, and fans are very excited about it. As it turns out, he may just be ditching The Weeknd as a name, altogether.

No matter what he does next, there is no doubt that fans are going to follow him. He is one of the most listened-to artists in the entire world, and we do not foresee that changing. Let us know your favorite Weeknd songs and albums, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world.

Travis Scott’s “Utopia” To Go Number One For Fourth Straight Week

Travis Scott is one of the biggest artists in the world right now. Overall, Utopia has only made him that much more popular as an artist. His current album is doing extremely well on the charts. Moreover, he is now the most listened-to rapper in the entire world. These are all massive accomplishments, and there is no doubt that Travis has a lot more in store for us. For instance, he is about to embark on an arena and stadium tour across the United States. Hopefully, tickets for that drop soon.

As for his current standing on the Billboard charts, Utopia is currently at number one. This has been the case for three weeks in a row. Overall, many of the album’s sales have come from merch bundles. Additionally, he has been selling a ton of vinyl records which has ultimately led to wild numbers. Travis is doing big things, and fans have been curious if he can go number one for an entire month. According to a report from DJ Akademiks, he actually can.

Travis Scott Is Going Platinum

After selling about 180K units in the third week, Utopia is going to sell another 158K in the fourth week. At least that is what the projections are telling us. As Akademiks explained, 90K of these sales are bundles and physical album sales. This is a massive deal for Scott as it means he will go number one for the fourth week in a row. It is likely the last time he will go number one, as Drake’s For All The Dogs is set to be released on Friday.

No matter what, these are great numbers, and it is awesome to see Hip-Hop back at number one this year. Let us know what you think of Utopia, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the music world. We will always be sure to keep you informed.

Quavo’s “Rocket Power”: First Week Sales Projections Revealed

Last Friday, Quavo came out with his new solo album, Rocket Power. Overall, this was an emotional body of work for the artist. It is his first piece of music since the death of Takeoff in November of 2022. Consequently, fans were very curious about how this album would turn out. In the end, the album was great. There was a mix of emotional and introspective tracks, alongside the type of songs that the artist is more known for. It is a project that satisfied listeners in multiple ways, and the reviews are reflective of that.

With Travis Scott’s Utopia dominating the charts, many were curious as to how the two albums would stack up against one another. Unfortunately for Quavo, it doesn’t seem like he will come close to topping the charts. According to DJ Akademiks, Rocket Power is expected to sell 33K units in its first week on the charts. This is certainly lower than expected. Moreover, with Travis Scott expected to sell 160K in his fourth week on the charts, it seems like Rocket Power isn’t getting the recognition it deserves.

Quavo Hit With Low Sales Despite Positive Reviews

Quavo’s album is also going to sell less than Santiago which is the new album by Russ. However, Russ’ album is being boosted by physical sales. As for Quavo, he didn’t include merch bundles with his album, much like Travis did. If there is one thing for certain in 2023, it is that album sales have become a game. If you want to succeed at the highest level, you are going to have to play that game. Either way, this does not take away from the fact that the artist dropped a dope album.

Hopefully, more people check out the project throughout the rest of the year. Let us know what you think of Rocket Power, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the music world. We will be sure to keep you informed.

Drake Sees Massive Earnings From It’s All A Blur Tour

Drake is set for a massive payday from his ongoing It’s All a Blur tour with 21 Savage. According to Touring Data the pair has already over $41 million from the nine shows that have publicly reported their revenue. That includes breaking the record for the highest boxscore report by a rapper in history. That came as a result of the $18.02 million that the shows at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center pulled in alone.

While revenue from individual shows can and will vary, a basic extrapolation can indicate the scope of their success. Based on the numbers currently available, the tour will make well over $200 million by the time it concludes in October. Major revenue boosts will come from the likes of the four shows in Inglewood as well as the four shows spread over San Francisco and Los Angeles. Additionally, the two-show run in late September in Toronto will bring in some serious cash. The pair of shows in Drake’s hometown were originally scheduled as the tour’s finale.

Drake Crushes It With It’s All A Blur

Of course, Drake’s first tour since 2019 was never going to be a flop. But the numbers that the Canadian rapper is pulling in are absolutely staggering. While big numbers in cities like New York and Boston are to be expected, the tour brought in nearly $4 million in Milwaukee alone. The Fiserv Forum only holds around 15,600 people and the city itself has a population of less than 600,000.

The only figures who are going to have comparable numbers to the It’s All A Blur Tour are Beyoncé (Renaissance World Tour) and Taylor Swift (Eras Tour). But even then, there’s a caveat. The Renaissance Tour is Beyoncé’s first since 2018. Furthermore, it is a truly international tour, with a major European leg before she even hit North America. Meanwhile, Swift is essentially on tour until the end of 2024. Additionally, she is performing nearly triple the concerts of Drake and Savage. We will get a clearer picture of Drake’s success as more venues report their earnings. However, it is set to be a very good year for Drizzy and company.

Quavo’s “Rocket Power” Set For Modest First Week Sales

Rocket Power is the latest album from Quavo. A quasi-tribute to Takeoff, Rocket Power is Quavo’s first solo album since 2018’s Quavo Huncho and his first release since Migos’ final album, 2021’s Culture III. Rocket Power is a Quavo-heavy album, with just three features. “Patty Cake” features Takeoff, “Turn Yo Clic Up” features Future, and “Focused” features Young Thug.

Quavo Huncho peaked at #2 five years ago but unfortunately for Quavo, it doesn’t appear as though Rocket Power is going to have the same impact on the Billboard charts. According to HDD, the album is projected to sell 27,000-32,000 copies in its first week, which should be good enough for a top-20 debut. However, it likely won’t climb too high in that section of the chart. The top five are pretty set right now. At the time of writing, the top five on the Billboard 200 are UTOPIA, One Day At A Time, Barbie: The Album, Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), and Midnights. All five albums shot up the charts this week, as did the #6 album, Lover.

Rocket Power Pales In Comparison To Other Releases

Quavo is not the only major artist who will be debuting on the Billboard 200 next week. Unreal Unearth, the latest album from Irish folk singer Hozier also dropped this week. Per HDD, the first-week projections on that project are 45,000-55,000, which should see Unreal Unearth debut in the top ten. The album includes one feature, with American rocker Brandi Carlile appearing on “Damage Gets Done”.

The release of Rocket Power also came with the release of a music video for the single “Hold Me”. While a solo single, it serves as one of the album’s biggest goodbyes to Takeoff. Shot in Paris, the video features a sea of people wearing Takeoff t-shirts and features lyrics specifically about Quavo’s mourning for his lost nephew.

Nicki Minaj Flaunts New “Queen Sleeze” Chain While Prepping For “Pink Friday 2”

Despite the fact she hasn’t given The Barbz an album since 2018, Nicki Minaj remains a dominant force in the world of hip-hop. Since 2022 she’s been sharing collaborative efforts with Coi Leray, Lil Baby, Fivio Foreign, Ice Spice, and many others. On top of that, her solo efforts “Super Freaky Girl” and “Red Ruby Da Sleeze” have both gone on to achieve mass success on streaming. A few weeks back, the mother of one confirmed that her Pink Friday 2 LP will be arriving this fall, and since then, she’s been in full-time Queen of Rap mode making sure it’s ready for the world on time.

Travis Scott’s Third Week & Trippie Redd’s First Week Sales Projections Revealed

Travis Scott recently released his new album Utopia a few weeks ago. Overall, this is an album that has proven to be polarizing. Although many people love it for its production, some feel like the lyrics are lacking. That said, the project is selling very well. It did 496K sales in its very first week thanks to bundles. Moreover, the second week was also very solid, clocking in as a number-one album. Now, the project is in its third week on the charts, and fans are looking forward to what the numbers will look like.

Additionally, some people have been curious about the upcoming battle with Trippie Redd. Trippie just released A Love Letter To You 5 which was highly-anticipated. This is the album’s first week on the charts, and there has been some anticipation that the project will chart well. As it turns out, this might not actually be the case. Last night, DJ Akademiks reported on the projections surrounding both Utopia and A Love Letter To You 5. As you will see, Travis Scott is winning by a wide margin.

In its third week, Travis Scott is going to sell around 135K units. This will likely keep it at number one, which is truly impressive. Furthermore, Trippie Redd is only going to sell 32K units. Overall, this is a huge disappointment as Trippie is used to selling a lot more than this. Either way, it is clear that Utopia is king for now. Although, that could very well change with the release of Quavo’s “Rocket Power.” Drake is also going to be dropping soon, which will change things.
